Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Ghost and Angel. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Overwatch; Blizzard and a few others do.

He looked around, once more feeling life renter his body which scared him. He had felt the life start to pump back into his body as the former soldier slowly started to climb to his feet.

"I wouldn't do that if you wish to live." Aadne heard while he slowly began to look around. "Those wounds almost killed you, I am surprised you survived that fall to begin with." Aadne also heard as he blinked and rubbed at his temples.

He knew that voice. There was not a soldier within Blackwatch who DIDN'T.

"Mercy…" Aadne muttered as he turned to look at the former overwatch agent. "I thought you were dead." Aadne said as he slowly tried to sit up.

"And I thought Blackwatch was destroyed." Aadne heard from Mercy before he heard the whirl of a gun as he turned to look at the woman who held her Caduceus Blaster.

Aadne chuckled mentally. This was how he died? Killed by the former medic of overwatch? The woman who was probably the LEAST violent? There was a joke in there he was missing.

"Go AHEAD." Aadne said while he cracked his neck and was greeted by a massive pain in his neck. "I know what I did…. Everyone knows." Aadne added as he shook his head.

Mercy was silent. She was well aware of what Overwatch did and she knew what Blackwatch had done to save the planet. She condemned war, but she was well aware of how much fighting had to be done… And it was clear from Aadne's profile she had managed to pull up that he WASN'T someone who was more of one of the more dangerous soldiers.

But that didn't exactly make him a good person. She was well aware of how bad a soldier from Blackwatch could be at the end of the day. She knew for a fact that there was something dangerous about keeping him alive, but she was NOT someone who mindlessly killed someone without a good reason.

"What is a member of Blackwatch doing here?" Mercy questioned as she slowly lowered her weapon.

"Trying to live without worrying about the past." Aadne said while he shrugged and slowly looked up. "Why? Is that not allowed? I'm well aware of what we did…" Aadne added, whispering the last part under his breath a moment later.

He watched Mercy slowly lower her weapon as he hummed to himself. He could still feel something coursing through himself. Something toxic and inhuman that was clawing its way through his body as he thought to himself… Was he still human or was he dead? Aadne could still feel pain within his body, but he was curious as to WHAT had started it. There was a new feeling within it, something new. He was both terrified of it, and still curious as to WHAT had brought it back like this.

"Can I ask WHAT hurt me to begin with?" Aadne questioned a moment later as he looked at the rash on his skin. "How bad is it? I can feel something going through my body… It's scaring me." Aadne stated a moment later as Mercy hummed.

"I do not know; I had come here to deal with the Junker's conditions." Mercy said which got a nod from Aadne.

"The Junkers don't want help; they want their entire homeland back." Aadne said as he shook his head. "They tore the entire country apart. Their insane, I can't believe they'd do this at the moment." Aadne said which got a look from Mercy.

"Do you believe I'd be ok with them destroying an entire country?" Aadne said and looked at the woman. "I know for a fact that we've done horrible things. That doesn't mean I enjoyed it, doesn't mean I'd do them over and over again." Aadne added as he rubbed at his temples a moment later.

Mercy was silent, quite curious as to what he had meant… But she was quite curious at the moment, knowing what came next.

"Do you really think I'm evil just like the others?" Aadne asked before he shook his head. "I killed, I didn't do the things we're famous for…" Aadne said a moment later and rubbed at his temples.

"Your condition will not improve that easily, you know?" Mercy said as she looked at her equipment a moment later. "I've run the numbers. Whatever that virus is within you? Your body is in as much danger as the other Junkers. The only thing keeping you alive is your armor right now." Mercy stated more than anything.

It made him cautious as he knew something bad was going to happen at the moment. Aadne was going to think on this while he recovered as he slowly slid off the table, looking at Mercy once more.

Aadne looked at Mercy as she questioned what to do.
