It nearly took a week before my breathing started to get better, my oxygen levels had gone up to eighty eight percent, however yesterday they did go up to ninety three percent. We were all over the moon that I had started to show improvements however it had been touch and go at times as my breathing kept going up and down. But thankfully I was now at the point where it was staying in the nineties. Also due to my breathing getting better I now wasn't on an oxygen mask, however when I first took it off it caused me to nearly pass out of my oxygen saturations dropped drastically. So I had been moved onto a nasal cannular, which thankfully improved my breathing to the point where I didn't need to put my oxygen mask back on.

When my breathing and oxygen saturations going up and down it was hard for Ben, Belle and Adam, especially Ben. I think it scared him to death when I nearly passed out, however when my breathing improved I could see the relief really show in his face. I think it was hard for him to be this close but not to be able to be completely by my side. I was even surprised that they had allowed Ben to stay in the hospital, and I know there was probably going to be a point that they ask Ben to return back to Auradon Castle. And yes I think Ben would fight this if and when Doctor Cameron suggests this but I know that in the end he would have to do as they asked - no matter how hard it was for the pair of us.

Even though my breathing was improving my other symptoms were staying the same, I was currently suffering from constant and severe fatigue, sharp chest pain, headache, dizziness, nausea and whole body muscle aches. It was quite a lot to go through and I felt sorry for every other person who was currently feeling like this, it really was crippling to the whole body and I couldn't wait to get better. However I didn't know when this would be but it felt like it would take a long time, unfortunately.

I was currently washing my hands in my bathroom on my side ward, and I was trying to be careful as I currently had a small oxygen cannister placed next to my feet. This was something that I was still adjusting getting used to, but at least I didn't have to have a full oxygen mask on which I thought was a win. I just turned the tap off and started to dry my hands when I heard Ben's voice as he changed places with his father in the conjoining room.

"Where is she?" I heard him ask in concern. "Mal?" he called out as I slowly picked up the handle of my oxygen canister. "MAL!" he shouted in panic.

"In here!" I called as I slowly stepped through the doorway and started to walk towards my bed. I watched as his eyes widened before he sighed in relief at the sight of me. I longed to be closer to him so I continued making my slow way towards the glass until I stood next to it, with my breathing a little bit more strained from walking.

"Mally" he cooed as he looked me up and down and I could tell her was taking in how breathless I currently was. "How are you feeling?" he questioned in concern as he pursed his lips together.

"Tired" I admitted. "And obviously breathless" I panted.

"You should get back to bed" he advised.

"Probably" I agreed. "But this is the closest with have been in over a week now" I reminded him. "Not quite ready to run off to bed now" I teased.

"I see" he nodded slightly at this as his mother stepped into the room. "Mother?" he said as he looked over to her.

"Yes son?" she replied happily.

"Can you get Doctor Cameron for me please?" Ben questioned. "Ask him to get a chair for Mal please" I advised as he nodded in my direction.

"Of course" she smiled at me before she quickly turned and left.

"Ben-" I started to say, which made him look back at me. "You didn't have to do that" I told him.

"Mal you need to rest" he returned in concern. "I will see to it" he promised. I opened my mouth to say something but stopped when I heard the door open behind me with a chair in his hands.

"Your Majesty" he advised as he placed the chair down next to me. "You don't need to do that" I dismissed.

"Yes I do" he advised as he slid the chair closer to the glass. I then slowly sat down and as I looked over to Ben I noticed that Belle had also just walked back into the room to sit with Ben. "I will see to it that your bed is moved closer" he added.

"Thank you Doctor Cameron" I thanked him.

"You're very welcome your Majesty" Doctor Cameron smiled fondly at me however the smile quickly dropped from his face when we all heard Ben start to cough.

"Ben?" I said slowly as I quickly looked over to see Ben having a coughing fit.

"Yeah" he advised as he put his right hand over his mouth as he stopped coughing.

"I think you need to be retested" Doctor Cameron said slowly in concern. I then started to panic, could this be the start of Ben getting Covid? I really hoped that this wasn't the case, however due to the fact he had been close to me made me think that it was going to be likely that he did catch it. Me and Ben had hoped that we were going to be able to keep Covid at bay, but by the looks of it it wasn't meant to be.

"Probably" Ben agreed just before clearing his throat. "Oh" he muttered as he his right hand dropped from his mouth and he started to hold his chest.

"Ben what's happening?" I quickly asked in panic.

"I'm really dizzy" he muttered as I started to note that he started to look really pale as his breathing began to falter.

"Maybe you should sit down" I directed as Doctor Cameron quickly left the room.

"Yeah" he muttered and I watched as he went to sit down, however instead he collapsed to the floor. I watched as Belle started shouting out to him as Doctor Cameron burst into the room. I then saw as Ben's breathing started to heave as his eyes rolled into the back of his head.

"Ben!" I called out. "Ben wake up!" I called as I quickly stood up as Doctor Cameron quickly pressed a red button on the side of the wall and alarms started to ring. "What is happening?" I pressed as Belle and Doctor Cameron stepped in front of Ben obscuring my view before a whole medical team burst into the room and Belle had to step to the side. As minutes started to tick by I started to feel really helpless, first of all because I couldn't really see what was going on and that fact that I couldn't be in the room. All I knew right now that Ben was still wasn't responding and the only noise coming from him was this loud and guttural wheeze, and in this very moment I was scared to death as to what was about to happen next.
