"Lex, hey, wake up." Happy gently shook her in an attempt to rouse her getting only grumbles in response. "Come on, if you don't get up, you won't have enough time to eat and you know that isn't good for you right now."

"I'm on strike," grumbled Lexi as she rolled away from him stealing the comforter as she went.

"No such thing as strike. Now get your ass outta bed," He told her as he yanked the comforter away from her body.

"Hap, I can't go home. I'm not ready. Please don't make me go." Sitting up, she slowly gazed up at him with puppy dog eyes. "What if they find out? What if they make you face mayhem?"

"Baby, I'm not going to get a mayhem vote just because you're pregnant. No matter who your father is. Let's just get to Charming, I'll deal with whatever is going on and we will come home. If we handle this right, we will get by without any possible repercussions and we can continue keeping the secret until you're ready."

"Hap, you don't know how conniving he can be. Mayhem vote or not, if he wants you gone, he will make it happen. I'm scared shitless that this will be one of those times, babe. You know how head strong he is. Sure, you might be a loyal soldier, but you've not only defiled his little girl, you-"

"HEY!" Happy shouted, quickly stopping her rant and pulling her into his lap. "I swore to you, I would protect you and this baby. If, and that's a big if, our secret is discovered, I'll take care of you both. Nothing changes. Clay may be founding nine but you two are my priority. Hell, I'll take an excommunication if it comes to that. For now, we will worry about the right now. You're only 16 weeks. Junior is barely showing. Just wear clothes a little bigger than usual. Your ma may notice, but just say you've put on some weight. The guys won't, they'll be too busy. I'll get you out before they have the chance." Happy watched a small smirk appear but could still sense her hesitation.

"I hate you're always so calm about this," she said looking at him again.

Bringing her leg around so she was now straddling him, he held her face in his hands, "With what I do, I always have to be in check of my emotions. Now I don't ever do this relationship stuff, makes things complicated, but with you it comes easy. I'm supposed to be the calm to your storm, your safe place. The doc said no stress. So let me do the worrying, you do the baking. Your breakfast is on the table, go eat." With a quick kiss to the head, he grabbed her by the waist and stood her on the ground. Grabbing their bags, he walked outside to strap them to his bike.

As Lexi entered the kitchen she couldn't help but grin. He'd made her waffles, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and even had a fresh orange already peeled and waiting. All her favorite go tos. He really did take amazing care of her. Glancing at the clock, she ate quickly realizing she only had 20 minutes til they had to leave. Happy came back inside after smoking a cigarette to find her in the bathroom finishing the braid in her hair. She had dressed in a simple black flowy tank top, ripped skinny jeans and her signature black converse. Even in the simplest of clothes, he still couldn't keep his eyes off her. This was about to be the hardest lockdown he'd endured.

"Ya eat?" he asked, leaning against the counter.

"Yup! Even made sure to wash my dishes so you won't come home to a mess," She stated reaching up on her tiptoes to give him a light kiss. then retreated back into the room to make sure she had everything "Let's get this show on the road."

Shaking his head at her sudden change of mood, Happy followed her into the room as his phone rang. "Yeah?"

" Hey man, it's Jax. She fight ya any?""Nah it's all good. 'Bout to head," Happy replied tossing Lexi one of his plain black hoodies and nodding towards the door.

"Good. Should be in full lockdown when you get here but we'll be ready. Keep my sister safe.""I know the drill." With an eye roll Happy hung up the phone. 'If only they knew' he thought to himself as he locked the door and walked towards his bike. "Ready princess?"

"Don't call me that," she scoffed. "You know I hate it."

Receiving only a chuckle in response, she climbed on his bike behind him as it roared to life. Wrapping herself tightly around him, she couldn't help but revel in the smell that was all her man. Trying to relax and enjoy the ride, she couldn't help but having a gut feeling something bad was about to go down. She tried to ignore the feeling and just enjoy having her arms around Happy while she still could.
