Omake: How Arturia got knocked up
Merlin sighed while looking at the stoic Arturia interacting with her court. He had thought that it would resolve itself, but he had been wrong. Arturia was acting too much like machine and not allowing her human emotions to affect her judgement. There were already rumors going around wondering if Arturia was a human. It wasn't too widespread right now and no one really paid it serious attention…
Yet, Merlin knew if Arturia didn't change then she would likely fail in the future. And he wasn't talking about a small failure. He knew from personal experience and hearing the fate of other rulers and their kingdoms what lay in the future if the people didn't feel personally connected to their ruler. Camelot was likely to fall not after Arturia death or several generations afterwards, but likely in several years' time if everything went wrong.
He needed to remedy Arturia's reputation as emotionless ruler quickly before a tumor sprouted in Camelot that would eventually being about the end of Camelot.
Suddenly, he got a bright idea. Arturia had missed a very important stage of emotional development that most adults had passed by their late teens.
"Your Majesty," Merlin called out, interrupting the current court that was in session.
"What is it Merlin?" asked Arturia while turning to her court wizard.
"There is an emergency that requires your immediate attention."
Arturia frowned but dismissed her court. The nobles and officials nodded and politely left the throne room.
"What this emergency?"
"It is something that requires all the Round Table and your inner circle of confidants." Merlin replied seriously, trying very hard to stop his mischievous glint in eyes from glowing or smiling evilly.
~ O ~
Arturia Pendragon groaned. Her head hurt and it was an experience she hadn't experienced in years. The last time she had such a bad headache had been before she had drawn Caliburn out of the stone, making her King. Caliburn's regenerative properties ensured that only powerful drugs or poisons to ever have a hope of causing her minor bout of sickness. It might have been years since she had felt it, but Arturia could recognize a hangover from a mile away.
She groaned while trying to get out of bed.
"Why do I feel so heavy?" Arturia wondered as she felt her balance seemed off, and it didn't seem related to her hangover.
She looked down to see if there were anything heavy clothing or sheets that could be responsible. Her eyes widened in shock at what she found. Arturia was so stunned that her mind failed to scream with her open mouth.
"What's wrong, Arturia? Did you drink so much that you feel heavy?" groaned a familiar voice that made Arturia snap out of the shocking appearance of two heavy weights on her chest.
She stared in horror to realize that she had been laying next a naked man until moments ago. What horrified her the most was who she had woken up besides. It was Merlin, her court wizard!
"Arturia, I thought you got rid of that bad habit of sneaking into my bed when you had been a little girl," yawned Merlin as he got up out of bed, his body revealing itself as the sheets covering him fall away.
Arturia didn't know why, but her eyes acted differently. She normally would have ignored looking at Merlin's body as it was something she had seen a million times. Today her eyes scanned the surprisingly muscular body that she hadn't really paid any attention to. It was the kind of body with all the right muscles that the unmarried women in her court and the rest of kingdom would have been attracted to.
What draw her attention the most was massive rod standing in between Merlin's…
"What am I thinking?!" Arturia screamed as she closed her eyes shut in horror and she slapped her cheeks.
"Is there something wrong, Arturia?" He asked while frowning in concern. "The only thing I see wrong with you is your two huge…" Merlin's eyes snapped open and became red shot as he stared down at Arturia's chest. "I must be imagining things…" He rubbed his eyes. "There is no way you can have…"
"Your eyes aren't mistaken!" Arturia growled murderously while performing an act she had never thought she would do. She covered her chest with her hands. "And you must have had a hand in it Merlin!"
"The plan didn't go like I had wanted…" Merlin muttered in disbelief then his eyes turned downwards to the treasure between Arturia's thighs. "Oh no!" He shouted in alarm as he saw something white leak out. "Don't tell me-!"
"Merlin you got to help me!" screamed Lancelot as he barged into the room. "I think I might have impregnated Guinevere!" He shouted in alarm and he fell silent when he saw Merlin's surprised look and to Lancelot's horror his liege's shocked expression. "Your Majesty please forgive me for this betrayal of committing adultery!"
"We have more important things to worry about then what you did to Guinevere," said Merlin in troubled tone as his Mystic Eyes glowed and he peered at the growing aura of life coming from Arturia. "I think I might have knocked up Arturia!"
"Oh, Arturia is the last person you should be worried about!" Morgan le Fay screamed as she slammed the door open and entered the room. "You spiked our alcohol with powerful magic that even my anti-poison spells failed to work as they were overpowered by your magic. I ended up drunk, and I might be pregnant!"
Arturia Pendragon, Lancelot of the Lake and Morgan le Fay stared at Merlin murderously as they brought out their respective weapon of war or magic in Morgan's case.
"You're going to die, Merlin!"
What scared Merlin the most wasn't the furious Arturia, Lancelot or Morgan, but his white familiar that had appeared out of nowhere.
"Die, Merlin, Fou!" Cath Palug screamed as it jumped towards and delivered a kick to Merlin's face.
And this is also how Lancelot's child, Galahad, and one of Morgan's children were born :)
I don't know if I should make it canon or semi-canon. Going to weigh my options.
