A/N: The upload process is being a pain with transferring the flashbacks and what not. So uploads will be a tad slow. I do have 10 chapters written though.

Jeremy was getting accustomed to the school and even the dorm life. The first three weeks went by and he was learning who was who.

He found that he had become close friends with Tsumi and Masashi while Itsuki was his most avoided.

Jeremy tried to look past the attitude the guy had after their quirk assessment but couldn't when the guy started telling the whole class about his mothers past that he had figured out.

The day they received their hero uniforms Jeremy was very pleased with what they came up with. He sent in the picture of his mother costume with notes for it to not crush his balls and instead of his mothers pastel cool colors he had requested darker cool shades. They replicated a male version pretty well and remembered his note for the yellow cape.

"You're the only one who chose to have a cape. It reminds me of Lemillions." Tsumi stood next to him.

Her hero uniform was a much lighter shade of blue then his. It looked like a one piece swimsuit with tightest under it. He was pretty sure he saw a doll laying around the house that looked similar with the same leg warmer sock things.

"I actually just asked them to replicate my mom's old uniform and make it more, male." Jeremy rubbed the back of his neck as he admitted to copying someone else's design.

"Mama's boy." He heard Itsumi snicker behind him.

That was when Masashi approached the group. She wore a green jumpsuit with black combat books. Super simple.

"I think it's very admirable that you used your mom's design."

Masashi was the strongest quirk wielder in the class with the fire element. Jeremey was in third place behind Daichi Yama's earthquake.

The bully that was behind him rolled his eyes at the girl's comment.

That day the three of them ended up being on a team during their first training. He was grateful to not be up against Itsuki because he was sure he'd have to gain a new level of control.

During the time he had messaged his mother every evening wishing her Goodnight. She'd never respond although he had always seen that the message was read.

The only other person who contacted him outside of school was Yuki. She had started some training with his mother and was learning just how tough the woman was.

'She punched me! In my gut.'

'I don't think I can go up the stairs tomorrow.'

'I hate leg day.'

'Your mom is putting me through torture. My dad wasn't even this tough.'

When the girl had mentioned her dad he found it to be a bit of a surprise. They had only vaguely walked about it. Jeremy felt like couldn't talk about missing the man. Although Enma was like his uncle, and in his life for as long as he could remember, he was Yuki's father above all else.

Shortly after he had received the message his class was off to do some hero training with Aizawa Sensei and Rock Lock.

Jeremy treated Rock Lock as just teacher and student would but that day was different.

Jeremy was in his hero uniform looking at his water bottle. There was an old nearly faded away sticker of Pro Hero Majestic. Enma himself had given the stickers to him and his mother a few years back.

He thinks about how there was a time he almost took the sticker off. He's really happy that he didn't because now he knew he never would. No matter how sun-faded the sticker got.

He was waiting his turn to do a heroes vs villains battle when Rock Lock approached him.

The man was silent next to him. Keeping up his stoic teacher persona.

"He gave those stickers to everyone." The hero's voice was quieter than Jeremy would have expected, "I threw the sticker out almost immediately after receiving it."

It was unspoken but he could hear the grief in the older man's voice. The small regret to having just kept the silly gift.

Jeremy looks up from his watch bottle and over the other students and at the battle screen. They were in the back of the space and he probably should have been watching but wasn't in the headspace.

"Yuki has been messaging me everyday. My mom's kicking her ass in training." He snickers to himself. It wasn't that long ago that he was training with his own mother.

"Sounds about right." The hero smirks while also looking ahead.

Jeremy faces his palm up and starts a thumb size tornado in his hand. Easily controlling the wind speed and size.

He watched it memorized, "She's just like Enma." Silence, "It makes it hard to sympathize with her when it feels like I'm looking at and talking to him. But at the end of the day, I do it." He stops his tornado and makes the wind softy poof off of his hand, "Because Majestic may have been like my uncle but that was her parent."

Jeremy feels Rock Lock's eyes looking down on his head. He could feel that the man hesitated with an answer.

He never got the chance as his partner came to Jeremy saying it was their turn next.

There were also his instructors that he found amusing. He knew that Aizawa and Present Mic were close friends from seeing them after school hours. The blond pro hanging and joking around with the other.

Jeremy had found it the most amusing thing that his mothers high school crush was now his teacher.

There were rumors and gossip floating around the class about what Aizawa Sensei must have been through during the war to have lost a leg and his eye. Jeremy didn't participate in spread of the allegations.

There were some days that the man came in with a cane and other days where he didn't. Jeremy was smart enough to notice that the days he'd shown with a cane were normally the day after training that he was personally involved with.

Every now and then though he'd still think of his mothers unspoken confession and couldn't help snort at the irony.

On his first weekend home his mom had asked him about his teacher.

"You'd think he's great!"

He smiled into the inside joke. Prolonging the laughs for himself.

But now. At this very moment. One month into the school year.

He wasn't laughing. He was incredibly pissed off. All of it geared toward Itsuki.

Who was sitting at a desk surrounded by other classmates. All of them looking at what he recognized as a yearbook. One he recognized because his mother had an identical one in their home.

"Hey Thorn, You never mentioned your mom was hot." Yo spoke while leaning over Itsuki.

Jeremy went straight for the book but Itsuki wrapped a vine around the book and had it lifted into the air above everyone in the class.

Itsuki's lips twisted into a smile at Jeremy. "I don't know Kenji. Maybe Thorn didn't tell us because his Mommy lost her hot bod along with her career when she decided to have him."

"Itsuki! Stop. Where did you even get that yearbook?" Ami tried to deescalate the situation seeing that Jeremy was starting to make the air around his hand circulate even just the slightest.

"It was in the school library. It was public information." Itsuki looks up at the yearbook and then has his vine bring it down. He used his vine as if it was another appendage.

It held open to a page in the yearbook. Jeremy recognized his mother and the man in the page.

The title of the page: 2-B Thornado and Takashita, Romeo and Juliet

They were dressed up for the play that they were in and were what appeared to be looking at each other all lovey dovey like.

Because Jeremy knew the people he knew it wasn't what it appeared to be in the picture.

"So Thorn, Is this your Daddy?"

No.

"I've seen him patrol this area. He's a hero. But your mom clearly isn't." Itsuki continued to taunt.

Jeremy's blood was boiling but he tried his best to keep his cool.

"Or did your Mommy like to do community service?" The guy snickered, "And open her legs for anyone?"

He lost it. His cool was gone. Before he could even fully fathom what he was doing he was grabbing the vine and using it to pull Itsuki toward him.

He used his other hand to bring Itsuki's head down into his knee. He could faintly feel Itsuki's teeth embed into Jeremy's knee at the point of contact.

There was a commotion that started around them as Itsuki wiped out another vine that pulled at Jeremy's ankle intending to bring them to the ground.

Jeremy creates a spiraling wind bubble to cushion himself while also making a gust of wind come out of his foot kicking his opponent off of him.

The kick sends Itsuki crashing across the room and knocking over desks and chairs with him.

He thought that it would be the end of it but knew he was wrong when Itsuki simply smiled at Jeremy's retaliation.
