Chapter 3: The Precipice of Power
/STORY START/
Izuku-092 POV
He had to act fast, no heroes will be at USJ in less than 10 minutes, that meant that the only people capable of fighting the abomination that stood between the warp villain and the hand villain were only him and his Spartans.
Kai and Riz were occupied defending the students, so only he and Vannack could fight the 3 villains.
While thinking Izuku remembered that behind him were Pro Heroes 13 and Eraser Head, yes they could help.
"Eraser, 13 we need your help to engage the 3 HVTs in the center"said Izuku
"You have the lead Spartan" answered the hero.
As they moved foreword 13 used her black hole to breach the line of smaller villains between them and the HVTs, the warp villain activated his quirk redirecting 13's attack onto herself .
As 13 fell by her own attack the hand villain seemed to be talking "Nomu attack these mobs", in an instant the abomination with the exposed brains jumped onto Eraser Head and started punching him, while the hero's quirk wasn't having any effect.
"Spartans we have one Pro hero severely injured and one under attack, from now on live rounds have been authorized, I repeat live rounds authorized, shoot to injure not to kill, you know the ROE, killing only if strictly necessary" said 092.
"Vannack with me let's help the heroes" said Izuku as he and his teammate were running to help the underground hero.
Bakugo POV
The man he thought was deku was running with his teammate to help Aizawa and he was shooting down smaller villains.
He couldn't stand there while the useless deku was trying to save lives.
"Fuck it deku I'm coming for you" screamed the explosion boy as he jumped down to where the SPARTANs were.
As he was running to his teacher he noticed that the villains on the ground were bleeding, this was strange, the ones a few meters back weren't bleeding, bullet entry holes e were clear and precise all tonon vital organs as they were shooting to injure and not to kill.
Katsuki realized that they were killing villains or at least trying, he froze, how… why…
No, that man couldn't be Izuku, shitty deku didn't have the balls to hurt no one, nevertheless killing someone, he wanted answers.
All Might POV
He was trying to hold as much as he could, knowing that the usage limit for One For All was incoming, and the worst part was that his students were under attack and he had to hurry.
"The dome is breached, maybe we're the villains, I can use it to enter, FEAR NOT, BECAUSE I AM HERE!" Stated the number one hero as he jumped inside USJ.
He was greeted by a rather unpleasant sight: his students were defending a corner near the entrance with what seemed to be…
"Hold on, why are Catherine's SPARTANs here?" He asked himself.
In the center of the facility he spotted 2 other Spartans that were trying to defend an unconscious Aizawa from a monster with an exposed brain, and the worst was that young Bakugo was going towards them.
Bakugo POV
"Dieee!" he screamed as he blasted a villain in the face.
He was getting closer as he saw All Might entering USJ from the broken dome.
"Young Bakugo go back to your classmates it's not safe here"
Bakugo ignored the pro hero and proceeded on his way.
"Deku!" He shouted as soon as the green SPARTAN appeared in his sight.
As he shouted, the navy blue Spartan took an hit from the monster villain and landed near Katsuki.
Vannack-134 POV
"Shit" he gasped as he got up again and retrieved his DMR
"I need to help Izuku"he tought
"Hey Robo Guy "said Bakugo "what are you and your pal doing!"
"We are engaging the enemy, I suggest you go back to your classmate student, the situation isn't under control" said the SPARTAN with an authoritarian tone.
"No shit, I want to fight" said Katsuki, "I'm sorry but that is not possible, this is your last warning, get back to the others yourself or I will bring you myself, this is for your safety" answered Vannack.
"You know what ok, I will.." said Bakugo as he used an explosion on the Spartan's visor stunning him and propelling himself towards deku.
Izuku-092 POV
He was struggling, he was being punched again, and again by the monster as the hand villain was watching him while laughing maniacally, until his laughter interrupted as All Might used a Detroit smash against the monster temporarily spinning it.
"SPARTAN you ok?" said All Might as he helped Izuku to get up.
"Yes sir shields got the big of the damage, I'm fine" said Izuku.
As all might saw the number 092 on his chest he said "nice to see you Izuku, I see you revealed yourselves today", "nice to see you too All Might, The situation is… well not a good one, that thing have multiple quirks, bullets get through him and than the hole remarginates, for what we've seen he have an haling, shock absorption and super strength quirk." Said Izuku
"Then how do we take him out?" Asked All Might, "if you can overload his quirk I can try to destroy his brain with a grenade"answered Izuku, "ok young man, but we have to be quick, I'm almost at my limit, I can get you only one chance" said All Might, "ok let's go"
"DETROIT SMASH" All Might used 70% of One For All to stun the monster, and as soon as it was stunned Izuku held open his weird mouth and shoved a grenade inside.
"BOOM" the head of the monster was no more, his huge figure fell to the ground.
"Kurogiri, retreat!" Shouted the hand villain as he started to disappear, but was interrupted as he was shot in the leg by Izuku and disappeared.
"Could have gone better" sighed Izuku, "silver team regroupe at the entrance, authorities are incoming, time for phase 2" said silver leader.
"DEKU!" Katsuki screamed as he saw the SPARTAN walking towards him "deku is that you right, where have you been quirkless freak".
Silver Leader said nothing and got past the boy.
"Hey you freak, you think you can ignore me, look down on me, you are useless, you killed villains right, you… you're a villain!"
The Spartan turned, his visor penetrating Katsuki's soul as he watched him in the eyes, "I completed the mission, that's all it matters, now regroupe with your classmates, student".
"Are you joking, you think you can fool me, what kind of mission is yours! A villain mission you want to kill us all don't you?" Screamed Katsuki, clearly angered.
"Our duty as soldiers is to protect humanity, whatever the cost, we get dirty so the world stay clean, that's the mission, think Katsuki, if it was you there, instead of me, would have you let Eraser Head die?, killing was necessary, we have very Clear Rules of Engagement, they weren't broken, now go back to your classmates" said Izuku.
Katsuki forze, "he called me…. My name, he is….. Deku?".
He couldn't speak and the Spartan went his way.
Outside of USJ, press and TV POV
"As of today USJ was involved in a villain attack, the UA students are all unharmed except minor injuries, the situation was saved by All Might and some newcomers" said the reporter as the camera switched to show a man with green armor, a red stripe the number 092 were painted on his chestplate.
"Greetings my name is Izuku-092, I'm the commander of SPARTAN Silver team, we are SPARTANs the newest heroes of the UN, we aren't the only SPARTAN team, our operations will extend worldwide, Silver was chosen for this operation, for any questions ask the media department of the UN I'm not authorized to disclose any further information" as Izuku finished talking the camera switched back to the reporter.
Izuku POV
"So All Might, what do you think", Izuku asked the family friend, "Not bad young Midorya, you and the other SPARTANs did very good".
"Thanks, oh and don't call my with my surname while I'm on duty, by the way I hope to see you at I-Expo in a few months" said Izuku, "you can count on that" answered All Might "see you at the expo", with that Izuku boarded Silver team pelican and took off.
Silver team pelican com POV
"This is silver actual, we are RTB, ETA 2 hours, mission accomplished." Said Izuku on his com
"Silver team this is Doctor Halsey, good work out there, we will have a party later this night, all S-deck is waiting for you" said the doctor
"Copy that ma'am we are on our way home, silver actual out" with that Izuku closed comms and started joking with his teammates about the day.

AN: This chapter was quite hard to write, the next ones will be the i-island arc and the shie hisakki, yes I'm skipping the sports festival, it's not relevant for this story.
I'm not good at writing fights in English, I'm Italian so it's a bit difficult, if you have any advice or critique let me know in the comments, I will reply as soon as I can.
