Back in Time
Chapter 6
"Let me go!" Kira snapped as she was dragged into the main room of the lunar palace by putties.
"So, this is the yellow Dino Thunder Ranger." A cold voice said, making Kira look up to see Lord Zedd in front of her, smiling menacingly.
"Oh look, a talking radiator!" She remarked, making his skin glow red in his anger.
"You dare insult me?" He yelled, making a move towards her. "I am Lord Zedd, ruler of all evil!"
"Says the guy who turns good in a few years." She muttered, too low for them to hear. "Why am I here?"
"Because you are going to help us take down Tommy Oliver." Zeltrax hissed as he walked around her. "We will trade you for his power coin and use it to take him down, destroying the Power Rangers and stopping you from ever becoming one!"
"You have one thing wrong there, the Tommy of this time doesn't know me! So how is keeping me here going to make him give up his power coin?" She asked.
"Your Rangers would do anything to get little Yellow back." Goldar laughed. "Including making Tommy surrender his coin."
"You obviously don't know my team very well." She snapped back. "The rangers of this time may fall for your stupid schemes, but we don't. I know that you won't send me back, and so do they!"
"Take her away." Zedd snapped, making the putties drag her out of the room. She was thrown into a cell where she began to pace, wondering how she was going to get out of this.

"Anything?" Dr O asked as he paced the command centre in front of the viewing globe. Ethan, Billy and Alpha were all stood at a console, trying to find anything about where Kira would be and what Zedd was up to.
"No." Ethan snapped, trying not to shout at his teacher and mentor.
"Dr O, we'll find her." Trent said, trying to be reassuring.
"And besides, you know what happened when Mesagog kidnapped her. She got herself free before we even knew where she was!" Ethan said, not looking away from the console.
"Dr O, I think the other Rangers need an explanation around now." Conner said, making Dr O look at the original Rangers, who were staring at him in confusion and shock still.
"Ok. What do you want to know?" He asked, only to throw his arms up as he got a barrage of questions from everyone at once. "Woah! Slow down! One at a time."
"Why do they call you Dr O?" Zack asked.
"I have a Phd in palaeontology, making me a Dr. And I am their science teacher, although they are too lazy to say my name properly." He said making Conner smirk.
"Who's that Mesagog that Ethan mentioned?" Kim asked.
"He's our Zedd. Although he is a mutation instead of an alien."
"How many colours?" Jason asked, crossing his arms.
"Let's see, there was green, white, red, red again and black. So 4 colours, but 6 powers. Red twice and a slight variation on white." He replied, counting on his fingers.
"So, you're a rainbow ranger?" Zack said with a smirk, making Dr O groan.
"I knew it was you that came up with that nickname." He muttered, making Zack frown. "I mean future you."
"What year are you from?" Trini asked.
"2004."
"How did you get here?" Tommy asked, looking slightly pale at the information overload.
"We're not too sure." Dr O replied, leaning against the console behind him. "Zeltrax somehow opened up a portal that pulled us all here. I don't think he was planning for us to follow him, but I think we were too close to the device for it to leave us."
"But what would he want in 1994 that he couldn't get in 2004?" Kim asked.
"I think I know." Trent said, making them all look at him. "What is the one thing that Zeltrax wants more than anything? More than helping Mesagog bring back the dinosaurs?"
"To kill Dr O." Conner said, frowning. "But why would he have to go back in time to do that?"
"His powers!" Ethan exclaimed, spinning to face them. "In this time, he has only had 2 different powers, and one was created by evil. In this time, he is less experienced and more vulnerable."
"What do you mean vulnerable?" Tommy asked with a frown.
"In our time, you are the longest serving and most experienced Ranger. Here, you are the newbie to the team. No offence." Ethan said, looking at Tommy.
"What I don't get, is why they took Kira?" Conner said, running a hand through his hair. Alarms sounded before anyone could say anything else.
"We may find the answer to that Rangers. Behold the viewing globe." Zordon said. They looked into the viewing globe to see Zeltrax and Goldar at the park with putties chasing everyone away.
"They've got Kira." Trent said, pointing to where Kira was being held by putties.
"Let's go." Conner said, moving back from the globe.
"Not without us." Tommy said, moving next to Conner. "We're coming whether you like it or not."
"Then let's go." Dr O said. They all teleported to the park and ran to where Goldar and Zeltrax were waiting.
"Hello Rangers." Goldar laughed as both teams stopped in front of the two monsters. "So nice of you to come for your friend."
"Let Kira go!" Conner snapped, taking to point of his team as Tommy took the point of his. Kira, who was being held by putties, had her hands tied behind her back and tape over her mouth, stopping her from talking and using her power.
"We will let the young Yellow go, once you give us your power coins and Dino gems!" Zeltrax hissed, making the Rangers share looks.
"Even if we give them to him, he won't let Kira go." Ethan commented, the frown behind his helmet unseen as Conner looked at Dr O.
"We can't give up our gems." Conner said, making the older Ranger sigh.
"I know." He muttered, looking at the other Rangers who were looking to them to see what to do, since it wasn't their teammate at risk. "Don't give them up. Do everything to get Kira back, but do not give up your coins." They nodded and they all got into fighting stances. "We won't give you our powers Zeltrax!"
"Get them." Goldar commanded, making putties start towards the Rangers.
"Let's do it." Tommy said, both teams getting into their stances. "It's Morphin time!"
"Tigerzord!"
"Mastodon!"
"Pterodactyl"
"Triceratops!"
"Saber-tooth Tiger!"
"Tyrannosaurus!"
"Dino Thunder! Power Up! Ha!"
"White ranger, Dino power!" The now morphed Rangers began to fight the minions as Zeltrax and Goldar watched on. Zeltrax turned to Kira and she knew that if the cyborg could, he would be smirking.
"How about we get you a friend, Yellow Ranger." He hissed, making Kira's eyes narrow. "Get the pink one." Goldar nodded before joining the fight.
"Dr O!" Conner shouted as he took down another puttie. "Try to get to Kira!"
"On it!" Dr O replied before flipping over the minions and landing in front of Zeltrax, slashing him before he could react. He looked at Kira and saw the slight relief in her eyes at his appearance. "Let her go!"
"Never." Zeltrax hissed before charging at him, the two fighting for the upper hand.
"Conner! We need a new plan!" Trent called, using his Drago dagger to take the putties down. "This isn't working!"
"I'm working on it." Conner replied. "Jason! Double team?"
"Let's do it!" The two red rangers worked together, using their bodies to help the other and taking down as many as they could. "Nice work."
"You too." Conner replied, seeing that they had greatly reduced the number of minions around.
"Conner! Can't you go Triassic?" Ethan asked, throwing a puttie over his head.
"No. I need both you and Kira to power up." He replied, falling into another fight, helping to finish off the minions.
Dr O landed a kick on Zeltrax's chest, sending the cyborg flying back. He stood back up to see the other Dino Thunder Rangers stand behind their Black Ranger.
"This isn't over!" He hissed, grabbing Kira's arm. The Yellow Ranger started struggling, trying to get loose. "And now I have more leverage against you." Goldar appeared behind them with Kim in his hands, making the Rangers gasp.
"No!" They shouted as they teleported away, taking the two Rangers with them.
"This is not good." Conner muttered, putting a hand to his head.
