The next few months were a crazy change of pace for the couple. Lexi and the twins were doing great after being released. Even being premature, the twins only needed to spend the first two weeks of their life in the NICU. Gemma stayed in Tacoma for the first month before she drove Lexi crazy. Lexi finally told her to go home to Charming, insisting they'd be down to visit soon. Bec and Jessie came by constantly to help Lexi with the kids or just let her get some rest. Happy stayed close to home, only taking small day runs when absolutely necessary or working at the tattoo parlor when they needed cash.

Lexi had adjusted well to being a mother. Happy was shocked how quickly she took to it. Even more shocked by how she had been making an effort to be more involved in club life as well. She had practically became Jessie's right hand between helping keep everything organized at the club house, getting party's planned and keeping the tattoo shop running.

"Hap, your woman's here!" Shouted Shawn from behind the bar nodding us at the security camera feed playing on the small screen behind him.

Happy was across the room playing pool with Kozik but instantly started making his way towards the door at the mention of his family. Lexi was a professional at this point of unloading the kids but Happy wasn't about to slack on helping her either. By the time he made it outside she had unloaded and set up the stroller, had one of the boys out and was currently swapping the other out.

"Here, I got him," he said coming up behind her and grabbing Barrett from her hands.

"Thanks babe."

"It's what I'm here for," he told her leaning down to kiss her lips.

"Mmmm, I'd be okay if you were only here for kissing me," she replied stretching on her tip toes to kiss him again.

"You keep me around for more than just that," he joked.

"True. Got to keep you busy though. What's on the agenda for this week?"

"Not much. Church later but Koz and I were just playing some pool. Why? Got something you want?" Happy asked her as they walked through the doors into the club house.

"Not really...Hey Koz!" She greeted their friend changing the subject.

"Hey Lex. And how are the mini killas today?" Kozik said babbling baby talk at the boys.

"Good. We had shots today but they both held up like troopers. Both are gaining great for being preemies and the doc is happy with their progress."

"Of course they are. It's in their genes," Happy said pulling Harley from his carrier while Kozik did the same with Barrett.

"I swear every time those boys are around you two turn to goo," Bec joked as she joined the group bringing the men new beers and snagging the baby from Kozik so he could take his shot. "Hey Lexi, we still on for tomorrow?"

"If Hap is okay with it."

"Thought you said you didn't have anything planned?" He asked raising his brow at his fiance.

"Technically we don't. We were thinking of going to visit Charming. Jax said he hasn't heard from Wendy and wants me to check on her. Plus Ope finally got out last week and I wanted to visit your ma."

"And you plan on leaving tomorrow? That's a little short notice, don't ya think?"

"I didn't say we were leaving babe. I literally just said you and I have to talk about it first. And I wanted to wait til the boys had their appointment."

"Hmph," He grunted passing her their son and taking his shot.

"Forget it. We don't have to go."

"Didn't say you couldn't go."

"Didn't say you were okay with it either so I'm saying just forget it. I'll tell J to send Gem over. Bec come get a drink with me?"

"We staying here tonight then?" Happy asked her.

"Whatever you want Hap," Lexi replied walking away with her friend.

"Sorry I brought it up. I didn't realize you hadn't talked yet," Bec apologized once they were out of earshot.

"You're good Bec. It's just his ma. She's getting worse and he's avoiding visiting her."

"Aww shit. Chemo treatments not working as well this time?"

"His aunt doesn't think so. I think seeing him and the boys would help her out though. That shit is as mental as it is physical," Lexi answered going behind the bar to pour them drinks.

"Well just talk to him and let me know. We will still have like 4 months of winter so I'm willing to escape to the heat whenever," She said.

"Same! I miss California's sun," Lexi agreed giggling.

The women rejoined the men, watching them play pool as they played with the boys and talked to random members or hangouts who made their way over. Around eight Lexi went and laid the twins down in Happy's dorm so they could get some uninterrupted sleep as traffic was picking up in the bar area. Checking the monitor as she left the room she couldn't help but overhear a conversation going on in the hall bathroom.

"I just hate the way she flaunts herself around like she's queen shit," Cami said.

"I don't know why you let her get to you. He has still been coming to you for the last few weeks wasn't he."

"Yeah but it's not the same when he still goes home to her and those brats. I feel like the dirty mistress."

Lexi saw red when she went stomping back to the main room. She may not know how true Cami's comment was but it didn't stop the anger from bubbling inside of her. It was true her and Happy's sex life had taken a down turn since the twins were born but that wasn't completely her fault. A few times he'd come home plastered and they'd had sex but most often when she tried, he came up with an excuse to avoid it. But she would be damned if Cami thought she could get her claws into Happy and tear him from his family. Lexi found him easily sitting in the corner with a few of the guys and Bec playing a game of poker. She wasted no time crawling into his lap and straddling him before starting to kiss up and down his neck.

"What's gotten into you," he asked her quietly.

"Hopefully you if I get my way," she whispered into his ear grinding their centers together.

She could tell from the low growl that escaped his lips, the tight grip he held on her hip and his hardening member that she was getting somewhere with her little game.

"I'm in the middle of something babe," He told her.

"I guess I'll just entertain myself," she said trailing her hand between them to loosen his belt and dip into his waistband.

"Lex," he growled again.

"Quit distracting him princess we're busy," Koz shot at her.

"Fine. I'm going outside then. Listen for the boys," Lexi told them slowly slinking away.

She was sure to add extra sway to her hips feeling Happy's eyes on her. Looking back over her shoulder she saw Happy rise from the table to follow her. Lexi then checked to make sure this had all caught Cami's eye. She'd be damned if she went down without a fight.

Once Lexi got outside she made her way to a table hidden at the back of the heated canopy. It didn't take long before Happy joined her. His eyes almost black with lust. He slowly stalked toward her like an animal hunting it's prey.

"You trying to hint at something?" He asked her, voice so deep it came out more of a growl than words.

"Hmm depends."

"On?"

"If you're going to fuck me til I'm screaming and squirting all over this table."

"Like that was even a question," He told her.

He roughly yanked her towards the end of the table where he was now standing and covered her mouth in his. There was an aggressive need between the two of them like they couldn't get close enough to each other. Happy wasted no time pushing Lexi's pants down while she undid his belt. The table may have been under a heater but that didn't stop the goosebumps from forming as the cold metal touched her bare skin.

"Sure you want it here?" Happy asked pulling back just enough but still letting his hands roam down to between her legs as his fingers made their way into her warm folds.

"I just want you," she rasped, voice heavy with lust as he started fingering her. "I don't care where."

"You asked for it," Were his last words as he swiftly pushed himself into her.

The heavy moan of pleasure leaving her lips making it known to all what was happening in their little shadowed corner. He tried staying still as long as he could to let her body adjust but her walls were quickly tightening their grip on him making it hard to stay still. Her lips kissed their way up his neck before she whispered in his ear.

That was enough to give him the pushed he needed. Happy started pounding long deep strokes into Lexi as she bit his neck and clawed at his bare scalp and back. The only noises outside were her moans she didn't even try to hide and the loud slapping of their skin. It didn't take long before her body was convulsing with an orgasm he continued to fuck her through. Suddenly Happy pulled out and flipped Lexi so she was bent over the table. He returned to pounding into her not even giving her body time to recoup from the first orgasm before another started building. After a few more thrusts Lexi came again as Happy reached his own peak spilling his load deep inside of her. He leaned over her back to kiss by her ear.

"That what you were hinting at Sweets?" He asked her as the both tried to catch their breath.

Hearing Happy readjust his own pants and close his zipper, she bent to put her own pants back on before sitting back down. She wanted to stand but didn't trust her own legs quite yet. He pulled his hoodie off and handed it to her knowing they needed to talk and if they stayed outside much longer she'd be getting cold.

"Where'd this little minx idea come from? Trying to use sex to convince me we need to go to Charming?" He asked her lighting a cigarette.

"No. I just miss you. I miss the us we were before our lives revolved around the boys," she answered looking to the ground. Lexi wasn't about to admit she did it laying claim over the little bitch Cami.

"Baby, I'm not going anywhere. I'm yours."

"I know."

"How long do you want to be in Charming?" He asked changing the subject.

"What?"

"How long will we be down there so I can let Lee know."

"I don't know. But I know I want to spend more time with your ma. She's barely got to see the boys since she can't travel."

"Okay. I'll tell him tonight and we will head out in the morning."

"Seriously Hap? We don't have to..."

"It's fine. I can earn there the same as I can here. Usually make more there anyways and we don't have any runs coming up for awhile anyways cause the snow."

"I love you!!" She exclaimed jumping up and wrapping her arms tightly around his neck.

"I love you too Sweets. Now let's get inside so you don't freeze."

The couple made their way back inside hand in hand. Lexi couldn't help but giggle seeing the hickies she had left all over Happy's neck. She knew it wouldn't be enough to keep Cami off of him but she hoped it was enough to prove her point. When they got over to the table they were sitting at before going outside, Lexi realized the game was now over but a few people still sat around the table talking.

"Feel better princess?" Kozik asked with a cocky grin.

"Sure. Just needed some air," She replied sitting on Happy's lap again.

"Mhm sure. From where? Hap's personal hose?" He asked.

"Awww are you jealous I got it first?"

The table instantly erupted in laughter. Happy spit beer across the table from laughing so hard at their comments. There were times the two were fine, then you'd have moments like these where they shouldn't be allowed in public.

"What'd I miss?" Lee asked joining the group.

"Just schooling Koz as usual," Lexi answered.

"Haha smartass," Kozik shot back at her sarcastically throwing a poker chip at her.

"Figures."

"Hey prez, while you're here Lex and I are going to go down to Charming for a bit if that's alright?"

"If you need him we can stay," Lexi piped up. She didn't want it to seem disrespectful like she was trying to pull him away.

"Nah, y'all are good. Just make sure to check in. I'm sure Clay could use your help."

"You got it Prez."

"Thanks, Lee."

"No problem, baby girl."

"I'm going to check on the twins," Lexi told Happy after awhile.

"They haven't made a sound," He told her gesturing to the monitor.

"I just want to check. Plus I'm getting tired so I'll probably just crash. I love you," she told him standing from the table.

"Okay, night." He still didn't say 'I love you' in front of most of the guys but Lexi had learned not to let it bother her.

Making her way down the hall Lexi was suddenly pushed into a wall.

"You think that little stunt got you anywhere?" Cami asked.

"Clearly it got you upset," Lexi replied.

"He doesn't even love you. He tells me every time he comes to see me. Why don't you fucking leave already so things will go back to normal."

"Going to have to work a little harder than that, cunt," Lexi told her pushing past her. "Oh, and next time you run your mouth lying about fucking my old man I won't be as nice."

Lexi's only reply was getting a slap across the face. She knew she'd have to explain the red mark to Happy but Cami's reaction was the exact one she needed for her plan to take its next step.
