A/N - This chapter could be considered filler (Slightly) it covers Naruto's first original jutsu and both Naruto and Anko becoming an official item. It isn't anything special and can be skilled if you're wanting interesting stuff. No limes (yet) but we're slowly moving into the chunin exams
Naruto was sitting at training field eight and doing his personal training before team eight's team training. As he was working on a new jutsu he's come up with, the blond's focus was being split.
On his mind was the situation with Anko. During the mission in Wave, many things caught the blond by surprise, especially his strange self sacrifice that was needed.
Part of him believed that he did it to finally reveal that he does love Anko, and another part believed that death was better than continuing on. Whatever the true reason was, Naruto knew that he needed to speak with the woman.
"Wind Release - Triple Dragon Slash!" Naruto roared as he slammed his hands on to the ground and tried to produce three wind dragons. However, only a single dragon appeared and it was nothing more than a single gust.
"Fuck!" Naruto said as he punched the ground. "What the hell am I doing wrong?" Naruto asked nobody in particular.
"Well, getting pissed off surely isn't the answer." Said the familiar voice of Anko.
Naruto turned to face the woman with a blank face. "Oh, it's nothing. I was just working on a little project." Naruto explained.
"What is it, a new jutsu or something?" Anko asked causally.
"You remember Zabuza's water dragon jutsu and Haku's ice dragon jutsu? Well, I'm trying to create a wind variant that's three times stronger. It's called the Wind Release - Triple Dragon Slash." Explained Naruto.
"I see. Tell me, how is the water dragon performed?" Anko asked with an eyebrow raised and her arms crossed.
"I manipulate the body of water and use it as a base. By shaping the water, I'm able to use it with high pressure. The problem with Wind is that I need to use the cutting idea. This gives me a problem with increasing its power.
I can't increase the cutting strength like Inwant because it loses the sharpness and becomes a guest like the great breakthrough." Naruto said.
"What about mixing it with a weapon? I know Asuma uses his trench knives to help with his wind element." Anko said.
Naruto's eyes went wide. He then pulled out his blade and went through the proper seals needed. Bird, horse, dragon, and bird once more was the proper order of hand seals Naruto created.
With each slash, a massive set of three dragons charged and sliced the trees around into small pieces. "Oh my god..." Naruto said.
"Damn, that's easily a B rank, if not A." Anko commented as she looked at the damage.
Naruto nodded before looking at the woman. "So, what's the real reason you came? I doubt it's to help me develop a jutsu." Naruto said with a slight smirk.
"Naruto, I want to know the truth. The truth about every that has happened. I'm tired of being in the dark." Anko said.
Naruto sighed. "What reason would you have to believe me?" Naruto asked.
"Naruto, I've only ever trusted three men in my life. Lord Third is the first. Orochimaru is the second and I was betrayed by him. You're the third and I want to believe that there was a legitimate reason for all this.
Do you think all those times spent together, was just to get stronger? No, it was for us to grow closer as teacher and student. However, it seemed to have gone much deeper than that. That's why I'm giving you a chance." Anko said.
"Alright, but not here. Meet me where my father is." Naruto said as he vanished.
When Anko arrived, she saw Naruto sitting on top of the fourth Hokage's stone head. Next to him, a bottle of sake waited. Anko sat down next to the blond.
"What I'm about to tell you is an S class secret. This will require you to remove anything you thought you knew about the world." Naruto said.
Anko took a shot of the sake. "Come on, whiskers. I can take anything." Anko said.
"Twelve years ago, on October tenth, the Kyuubi No Kitsune attacked the village. As you know, the fourth Hokage, my father, he sealed the fox inside of me. However, on that night, something happened. Nobody can explain it and neither can I, but the sage of six paths came and visited me.
Well, he didn't visit me, but the Hokage. Hagoromo believed that Ineas originally the reincarnation of his son, Ashura. However, reincarnations are born as a pair. In other words, if a current reincarnation is alive, there cannot be a new set until the previous set is dead.
Instead, he learned that I was the reincarnation of him. Now, keep this in mind. I have no clue about him or the fox, and I don't learn it until a few years later. Anyway, I'm set to become the one that's supposed to bring chaos or peace in the shinobi world." Naruto said.
Anko gave him a blank expression. "So, you're basically God?" Anko asked.
Naruto chuckled. "No. If I was God, then it wouldn't have been so tough, trust me." Naruto said.
"I see. Now, explain why you abandoned me." Anko said with a stern tone.
"Well, it's complicated, very complicated." Naruto said sheepishly.
"Naruto." Anko said.
"I know, I know. Okay, I only abandoned you and everyone else because I planned to cut off any and all personal attachment. By having attachments, it would increase the love that I have, but in turn, it would increase the darkness and hate that would come.
Do you know why the Mangekyou Sharingan is considered a power that's beyond anything else? It's because the pain that comes with killing the person most precious to you gives you a strength like no other.
I was afraid, I was afraid of losing myself to the darkness. At first, I believed if I cut off my bond with you, I'd be okay. Then I realized that my bond with Yugao would be the next best thing. It was a constant domino effect that lead me to the idea that isolating myself is the only thing I could do." Naruto explained.
"You abandoned everyone and isolated yourself because you didn't want to risk falling into darkness?" Anko asked.
"Yes, that's correct." Naruto said in a blank tone.
"Naruto, why did you try sacrificing yourself? I know you and you could have gone about that entirely different. Yet, you still took the attack head on." Anko said.
Naruto sighed. I don't know why I did it. It could have been because I wanted to die and be freed from the pain, show you that deep down inside that I loved you, or just pray that I could find myself back in your good graces." Naruto said.
Anko's eyes went wide as she turned to face the village. "But why? Why go through all that?" Anko asked.
Naruto gave Anko a bright smile. "The pain of death doesn't compare to the pain of hurting you or not having you in my life." Naruto said.
Anko nodded as she tried wrapping her mind around everything she learned. "Naruto, I want you to stop with this mask. I want my old Naruto back. The one that smiled, cared for everyone, and the one that trusts his precious people." Anko said.
Naruto shook his head. "So, remove my mask?" Naruto asked.
"Yes. At least, take the mask off with me. In exchange, I'll take mine off too." Anko said.
"I'll try. Thing s are much different for me now. However, I'll do whatever it takes to make you happy. Deep down inside, Anko, I love you more than words could ever describe." The blond said.
Without saying a single word, Anko pushed him back and sat on his mail while pressing her lips against his. The two shared a deep and passionate kiss that allowed each of them to enter the other person's heart.
That night, Naruto and Anko were walking down the street and headed to the dango shop. With their hands interlaced, they received many looks of anger and disgust. However, when a few familiar faces saw the two, disbelief was the common feeling among them.
When they sat down and put in their orders, Naruto went into an explanation that he was planning to create his own arsenal of jutsu that are completely original.
"What about your shadow clones, Rasengan, and Hiraishin?" Anko asked with a smirk.
"Those are dads' signature jutsu and so, to honor him, J decided to keep those. Plus, I do have our snake summons too." Explained the blond.
"That's very true. Even with those alone, you're one hell of a power house. I can't think of any genin that can give you a real challenge." Anko declared.
"There are some with potential. I just wish their was something I can do to test my abilities." Naruto said with a frown.
