Later That Evening After Anakin Retires To His Room
Anakin sighed as he finished his required reading for his galactic history class , stars end Anakin still couldn't believe that he was still a Padawan at 23 years old now that Qui gon was his master how did that happen, Anakin had always thought that Qui gon would have been a more easy going master than Obi wan .
But Qui gon it seemed was much much stricter a master than Obi wan was Anakin starting to regret every time that he had gotten upset with ,Obi wan when he pointed out that he was trying too hard to win and that being jedi wasn't about the win but about protecting those who couldn't protect themselves.
Anakin sighed sadly as he set the data pad down on his bed side cabinet he really had taken Obi wan for granted never appreciating what he had and always wanting what he couldn't have ie Qui gon, and now he had what he had wanted for so long but now that he had Qui gon he only wanted Obi wan back.
People could be funny like that they could go years wishing for something be one way and then they got their wish they wanted things back the way they were, well I ' ve certainly to be careful about what I wish for Anakin thought to himself sadly.
As he listened to Qui gon out in the living room playing old holo recordings of a younger Obi wan than Anakin had known, one Anakin thought sadly that hadn't lived to be a knight, hadn't lived to see Anakin grow up and become a knight, a Obi wan who had died at 25 years old and had been spared the death and horror that comes with fighting in a war.
Anakin sighed and sat up on the bed as it didn't look like he was going to be going to sleep anytime soon particularly if Qui gon going to be on a night long drinking and holo recording binge Anakin thought to himself, Anakin had never seen anyone as broken as Qui gon was still 13 years later after Obi wan's death.
Anakin sighed and swung his legs off the bed as he heard the sound of a glass braking Anakin rolled his eyes and pulled his boots back on there was no way he was going out there with out them on now.
Two minutes later Anakin made his way carefully across the living area to were Qui gon still sat the bottle Corellian blue whiskey now empty on the table the glass from earlier was gone, no doubt shattered on floor somewhere Anakin couldn't tell for sure as the lights were off part from the light above the cooker.
Anakin couldn't help but think that it was partly his fault that Qui gon had come a sad drunken mess , If I hadn't made stupid wish Anakin thought to himself sadly everything would be better Obi wan would be alive and Qui gon! Anakin swallowed hard Qui gon be gone forever , was just it what ever Anakin wished for he would have give up either Obi wan or Qui gon he couldn't have both the force had made that painfully clear to him.
Anakin sighed when it came time to choose between having Obi wan back and thing's back to well normal again well for them at least and having Qui gon back but miserable and broken what would he choose this time around, Anakin sighed again and said softly to the slumped man at the table "master I think that you ve had enough for tonight,let's get you to your room and bed"Anakin said as he took a hold of Qui gon's arm to help him up as he had always done with Obi wan when he had been at his worst after Satines death.
But Anakin had forgotten that this wasn't Obi wan he was dealing with it was Qui gon and he hadn't been expecting him to react so violently or quickly to what was as far Anakin was concerned a friendly gesture.
The first thing Anakin knew about it was when he suddenly found himself on the floor of their apartment five feet away from where he had been with Qui gon glaring at him , and the right side of his jaw smarting.
Oh so no touching then Anakin thought as he stood up wondering if Qui gon make it to his room with help from him or whether he should risk another violent reaction from Qui gon and help him walk to his room, as turned out he didn't have to help Qui gon his room as his master was able to make it there without help.
But thing was clear to Anakin now he and Yoda need persuade the force to return things to the way things were before Anakin made the wish and bring back Obi wan as soon as possible, Anakin thought as he watched the door to Qui gon s room hiss shut behind him.
The Next Morning
Anakin got up and slipped out of his Qui gon's quarters at brake of dawn and headed to master Yoda's quarters but the news that awaited him there wasn't what he had been hoping for.
"what do you mean Obi wan doesn't want to come back " Anakin hissed when Yoda told him how things had gone with Obi wans force ghost, "said he did that you made the wish and got what you wanted you have be happy with it you should "! The little grand master told him now.
Wonderful just Kriffing wonderful ! now what was he supposed to do! Anakin thought to himself, " talk to Obi wan your self you could try tell him your self you could that meant what you said you did not " Yoda said to him now.
Anakin looked at the little green grandmaster of the order and said " do you think that he'll believe me? Yoda looked at him for a moment and then said " more to believe it from you he is than me i think ".
" Okay but I don't know how " Anakin told him " hmm show you how to talking to Obi wan in the force I will, then up to you the rest is" Yoda told him .
