"Come on, let's hurry up. I don't want to stay in this creepy place any longer than I have to." Hinata said as her Byakugan was activate.
"I agree. Dealing with these foreign shinobi in a place like this doesn't feel right." Kiba added.
"Then it's decided. Let's go to the tower." Sai said.
Meanwhile, Naruto was jumping through the trees before he encountered a group of Sunagakure shinobi. As he looked down, Naruto debated with himself if he would strike them now, or find a new team later.
"Fuck it, I don't have anything better to do." Naruto thought as he flicked three kunai. In an instant, Naruto appeared over the ninja and pierced his kunai through their heads. The Hiraishin allowed Naruto to move at such speed, even the watching Anbu couldn't believe it.
"Like Father, like son." Thought the Anbu with a silent chuckle.
"Good, an Earth scroll. Huh? Already? Time to go." Naruto thought as he teleported.
Naruto arrived as the hidden grass ninja went to flick her three kunai towards Shino, Sakura, and Sasuke. He instantly deflected the kunai with his blade.
"You! You've caused me quite a bit of trouble." Said the Kumogakure ninja.
"Cut the shit Orochimaru. I know you want Sasuke and I'm not letting you get him." Naruto declared.
"What gave you that idea?" The grass ninja, identified as Orochimaru asked in a sarcastic tone.
"You tried with taking Itachi's body and failed. You can't take my body, and that leaves Sasuke the only candidate left." Naruto explained.
"What are you talking about? What do you know about Itachi?" Sasuke asked.
"Look, I don't have time for this. You guys need to leave. This guy is one of the legendary sannins. You are no match for him." Naruto said.
"What makes you so special?" Sasuke asked.
Naruto smirked. "Unlike you, I'll gladly give my life to protect my fellow shinobi." Naruto said, putting everyone in shock.
"Such prideful words. Let's hope you can stand by them." Orochimaru said as he summoned a massive python. The large snake charged, causing Naruto to jump off.
The blond pulled his sword out and used his Wind Release - Triple Dragon Slash. The slashes sliced the snake's body into multiple pieces, killing it.
"Not bad. Wind Release - Great Breakthrough." Orochimaru said as he sent a massive gust of wind.
Naruto saw this and quickly teleported behind the snake sannin and slashed his sword across his body. However, the body of Orochimaru turned to mud as he reappeared a few feet in front of Naruto.
"You certainly live up to your title. But I doubt you're being serious." Naruto said.
"That's right. But I get the feeling you aren't going all out either." Orochimaru said.
Naruto smirked as his Sharingan activated. Three hundred shadow clones of Naruto appeared. "Let's go!" Naruto shouted as they all threw their kunai and it was like watching multiple shooting stars.
Orochimaru may be a season shinobi that fought in two ninja wars, he may have been said to have surpassed the third Hokage, and he may have been declared the biggest enemy of Konoha. But not even he could react to three hundred Hiraishin users.
But, that being said, Orochimaru has been declared a genius in his arts of the shinobi. Making the half ram seal, multiple tree branches struck from the ground, along with releasing a massive vortex of fire that was able to dispel the clones.
Appearing behind him, Naruto connected his Rasengan to the sannin's back. "What the?" Orochimaru asked in shock as he was sent crashing into the tree.
Glaring with a serious expression, Naruto immediately followed up. "Wind Release - Triple Dragon Slash!" Naruto roared as he sent multiple dragons that cut in Orochimaru's skin.
"You'll pay for that you little brat!" Orochimaru shouted as he struck Naruto with multiple lightning bolts.
Naruto started yelling in pain from the strike. "Now, time for my prey." Orochimaru said as he created a clone that proceeded toward the Uchiha.
"I said no!" Naruto shouted as he used all his strength to get out the attack. Instantly, Naruto used the body replacement jutsu to swap spots with Sasuke.
Orochimaru stuck his tongue out that transformed into his Snake sword. Naruto quickly pulled his blade up. However, when the two swords connected, Naruto's blade was shattered.
"Fuck, this isn't good." Naruto thought as the sword was pierced through his stomach. As Narutk coughed up blood, he began wondering where the hidden Anbu were.
"Are you wondering where those Anbu are? Please, I eliminated them before my pursuit of the young Uchiha." Orochimaru explained.
"Damn it, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I wish Anko was here." Naruto thought.
On the other side of the forest as she was moving at top speed, Anko sneezed. "Someone better hide." Thought the woman.
Naruto was on the ground aching in pain from the poison that Orochimaru used on his blade. He could only watch in horror as the snake sannin marked Sasuke with the curse mark.
"What did you do to Sasuke?" Sakura cried out as she held the Uchiha close.
"I gave him a reason to live. Sasuke will search me out for power." Orochimaru said as he vanished away by sinking into the tree.
Naruto clenched his teeth as he used all his strength to stand up. "Sakura, Shino! Get Sasuke out of here! I'll prevent anyone from following you guys!" Naruto roared.
"Naruto, what about you? I can't leave you here alone." Shino said.
"Don't worry about me. Just go!" Naruto roared while leaking his killing intent, forcing the two of them to leave.
"Fuck, I need to catch up to him. Anko has no idea what she is in for." Naruto said as he pushed himself to jump through the trees.
Anko stopped in a small clearing when she saw one of the stationed Anbu, slowly moving. She dropped down. "What the hell happened?" Anko asked.
"He knew. The snake knew of our plan." The Anbu said weakly before passing into the afterlife.
"My, my, I thought this one was dead for sure." Said Orochimaru as he reappeared behind her.
"You! What the hell do you want?" Anko asked.
"Is that anyway to speak to your former sensei?" Orochimaru asked in a sinister tone.
"I'd like to stick a kunai between your eyes." Anko said.
"That isn't too lady like. I thought I trained you better. Anyway, my work is down, for now. I've already marked the Uchiha and he will search me out for power." The snake sannin said.
"If he survives. That's risky even for you." Anko said with a smirk.
"True, but you survived. So maybe he'll survive as well. Now, I am a busy man. I should wrap this up quickly." Orochimaru said as he prepared to strike.
However, he was met by a fist to his face. Naruto glared angrily at the man. "If you touch her, I'll kill!" Naruto roared.
"I'm impressed. I didn't think you would be alive, let alone move." Orochimaru said.
"I'm pretty hard to kill." Naruto said.
"As fun as you were to play with, I have things I must attend to. However, I will make sure to keep you occupied." Orochimaru said as he activated Anko's curse mark.
The purple haired woman screamed as her curse mark started activating. "It seemed she drew on the power awhile back. Her resistant won't be anywhere like it was. Farewell." Orochimaru said as he sunk into the tree.
"Anko! Come on, you're stronger than this! Fight if, fight it!" Naruto shouted.
"You, you abandoned me! You wanted to kill me!" Anko shouted as she drew a kunai and charged at Naruto.
Because of his injury and the poison in his body, Naruto's reaction wasn't as fast, and he received a cut across his chest.
"Damn, I can hardly move." Naruto fought as he drew a kunai that clashed against Anko's kunai.
Anko brought her foot up and kicked the blond back. As she charged, Anko went through a series of hand seals at a fast speed. "Fire Release - Grand fireball jutsu!" Anko yelled.
A large ball of fire greatly burned Narutk as he was sent flying back. "Wind Release - Great Breakthrough!" Naruto shouted out as he sent Anko flying into a tree.
"Snap out of it, Anko!" Naruto roared.
"I'll kill you! I trusted you! You threw me away like I was nothing!" Anko roared as the purple chakra grew thicker around her.
"Striking Shadow Snake!" Anko roared as multiple pythons shot from her sleeve.
Naruto's Sharingan allowed him to counter and he cut the snakes to bits. However, Anko appeared right before him with a kunai near his neck. The blond saw this and within a single second, Naruto replaced himself with a clone. Following up, Naruto stabbed his kunai into Anko's heart, piercing it.
Anko's eyes went wide and the curse mark started to recede. Naruto snapped out of his adrenaline rush and realized the reality of the situation. "No! Anko!" Naruto shouted as he ran towards her.
"Come on, don't die! I didn't mean to do that! Please!" Naruto roared as tears were falling heavily.
Anko was using all her strength thanks to the curse mark. "You, you freed me... You, you freed me, me, from the, the curse." Anko said as her spirit left her body.
"No! Anko!" Naruto roared as his chakra was glaring around, destroying the area around him. His Sharingan eyes began changing, his entire eye changed. The once red eyes with three tomo turned purple with multiple ripples in them.
"Anko, no!" Naruto continued screaming. However, what happened next surprised him. Anko's wound began healing and her eyes slowly opened up.
