Five Minutes Later
Yoda watched from his place on the meditation mat as Anakin started to stir and wake and slowly began to sit up " welcome back you are skywalker how feel do hmm" the little grandmaster asked him now.
Anakin shrugged and I feel okay guess a little dizzy but I m f... Anakin paused suddenly and then his widened then a thought hit him ,wait did it work is everything okay now is everything fixed is Obi wan back! he thought to himself.
Suddenly he could hear Yoda saying something in the background about looking where he was going and not being in such a rush all time, but Anakin blocked it out as he searched in the back of his mind for the glowing golden bond that he and Obi wan a moment later he found it and Anakin breathed a sigh of relief.
He done it he 'd fixed that horrible wish and Obi wan was back and alive and everything thing was back the way it should be Anakin thought to himself as he made his excuses to Master Yoda left the little green grandmasters quarters,and headed off to the quarters of the one person he wanted to see right now .
Ten minutes later
Anakin arrived at Obi wans quarters and paused for a moment before typing in the access code and entering , "Obi wan are you here?" Anakin called out as he walked into seating area and sighed still no reply and still no sign of Obi wan.
Anakin sighed again and sat down on Obi wan's sofa to wait for his friend to return from where ever he had gone off to, and started to think about what he was going to say to Obi wan and how he was going to apologise to him about how much he had taken his brother/ best friend for granted in the past and how he would do that anymore.
A Few Hours Later
Obi wan return to his apartment after a very boring council meeting and briefing session on the outer rim war effort than Anakin had , once again forgotten to attend but then that was nothing new Obi wan thought tiredly to himself as entered the apartment and turned the lights on.
And then headed to the kitchen area to make tea as he so he heard the sound of someone talking and muttering in their sleep, and leaving the tea on the counter he headed to the sitting area with his lightsaber in his hand but not activated.
As he reached out to turn on the light he recognised the figure laying asleep on his sofa and muttering his sleep , " Anakin! "Obi wan said softly with a relieved sigh ' so this is where he got to ,he must have forgotten about the earlier meeting and briefing with the council and fallen asleep waiting for me to return Obi wan thought to himself.
Suddenly a image of him and Anakin arguing in the corridor outside these quarters and Anakin saying the most awful and hurtful things to him flashed through his mind and Obi wan blood ran cold and his blue / grey eyes took on a Icey look as the younger man started stir awake.
"Obi wan ?" Anakin asked as he sat up and rubbed his eyes Obi wan sighed and he turned and headed back to the kitchen to finish making his tea as he was to tired too fight with Anakin again.
Anakin remained on the couch watching Obi wan turn and head to the kitchen with out word, so Anakin stood and followed him and sat down at the Counter and said " we need to talk " .
Obi wan sighed and said " what are you doing here Anakin you made your feelings clear earlier Anakin ", at this Anakin sighed and looked down at his hands for a moment and said " I know and I want you to know that I had no right to say what did and I don't wish that you had died in Qui gon's place".
At this Obi wan looked surprised and said softly " you don't?what changed your mind? " Anakin took a deep breath and said " the force show me what my life would have looked like without you and I didn't like what I saw and being Qui gon's Padawan wasn't what I thought it would be.
Obi wan looked down the tea he had just made and then said " as much as I would like to believe what you are saying Anakin I can't believe that you truely regret the hurtful things that you said earlier ".
At this Anakin sighed and then he said all in one big rush " I don't expect you too believe or forgive for the things that said or the fact that I wished you away and the force granted that wish teach me lesson and then I had try get back and you want come back because of what I said before and then I had convince you to let me at least try and bring you back to life because you were dead and all that , I guess I just want to you know that I am very sorry for the horrible things that said to and I would really miss you if you were gone ".
Obi wan now almost choked on the tea he had been as Anakin finished his rant and stopped to take a breath, and as he did Obi wan stared wide eyed at him and said " what are you talking about Anakin ? What wish? "
Anakin stared open mouthed at his friend for a moment and then said " you do.. don't re.. remember? Obi wan shook his head and said " I remember us arguing and you saying things and it's all a blur until the council meeting and briefing both of which you missed by the way Anakin" Obi wan replied.
" Oh " Anakin said quietly then he added "well I do so that's why I am apologising and I am never going to take you granted again because the wish really did happen and I really am sorry for all that I said and did ".
Obi wan thought on this for a moment and then realised that Anakin did really and truly seem sorry for the hurtful things that he had said and Obi wan had missed his friend greatly and the way things used to be before the Rako Hardeen mess had happened.
So many maybe Anakin now what to at least try to put the whole incident behind them just like Obi wan did and try repair the damage it had done to their relationship " Oh Okay I forgive you Anakin but one condition " Obi wan told him now.
Anakin sighed and said " okay what's the condition? At this Obi wan just smiled and said " you have to tell Master Windu that it was you who crashed his Speeder last month!" At this Anakin groaned but deep down he knew that Obi wan was letting him off lightly after things that he had said and done. He was just very glad that he had his brother back and that Obi wan was still alive and willing to give him a chance to make things right between them again.
