A/N: Here Again, with another chapter of The Twin Silver Force, glad to all of you who are now reading this.
Also, there's gonna be an anime adaptation of Star Wars. As someone who wanted to see anime and SW joined together. From what I have seen of the trailer, it is of utmost impressive. I'm definitely looking forward to watching Star Wars: Visions. Although, from what I heard, it is considered not canon in any of the Star Wars continuities, whether it be Legends or Disney. That doesn't matter, though. I could always enjoy it even though it doesn't exist in either continuity and that I can use it to draw inspiration when writing my fanfics. The last note is that I'd hope that they could do something similar to the 2003 Clone Wars or even way better regarding the fight scene.
Nevertheless, let us continue to the story
Disclaimer: Neither series is my property.
He is awakened. All he could feel is a cold and metallic surface touching him. What did happen? He looked around, only to see walls, ceilings, and even the floor, to look the same at every metric appearance; all of it looks dark. He can't see everything at all; it's as if darkness had taken over him. Most importantly, where is his twin sister? He's feeling worried and scared for her. He needed to look for her. Such darkness would have any children be scared and have them cried off. However, there's something innate within that allows him to transcend such childish behavior.
As such, he started to stand up from the cold and metallic surface. The young child is like a blind man with no sense of direction whatsoever. For all, he knows he could have come across a very unsettling end. He then started to move forward with both of his feet. He started to move and move until something within him told him to move in a different direction. That's what he did, moving forward in a different direction. He doesn't know why he had changed directions, but one thing that he does know, that there's something within him and telling him something. It is as if there's a special sort of guide telling when to stop and when to change directions and to start moving to the new directions set upon by this guide.
After moving around within the absence of light, he feels tired from such constant walking. He was starting to give up and nearly on the verge of dropping a single tear, that is until he could see it! A light in front of him. He moved faster and faster to the light, believing that it was a way out of this eternal darkness. He ran as fast as possible to get out of such a horrible place for a child. That's when he moved through the light and entered a new room. He was inside a big dome and on the opposite side of such said dome. He had found the most beloved person, his twin sister, who is also looking at him. It was then; they started to run to each other, and then they started to hug each other tightly.
"Utmost impressive," the twins, hugging each other, proceeded to look at the source of such a booming voice. They could then see their savior; it was a massive-looking man with a terrifying dark appearance from its helmet to its legs. This dark man started to walk over them slowly. "You two had tapped into the Force, and it had guided you well," The dark man stopped moving and looked below to the scared twins. "Without the Force to guide you two. You might have touched upon the wall of the labyrinth, and that's where you would fail and suffer."
Suffer? Did the dark man mention the pain from touching the wall of that maze that they walked out from? That's where they hugged each other tightly ever before, grateful that they aren't in a state of pain after passing through such a dark place.
"Now that you have passed my first test. Tell me, what are you two called?" as Vader demanded the names of the twins standing before him.
"My name is Rubrum Rose, and my twin sister's name is Ruby Rose," Rubrum quickly answered to the Dark Lord in fear of angering him.
"I see," Vader had only paused for a few moments before continuing to talk, "You two would become my apprentices and help me to overthrow the emperor."
The scared twins don't know what to say. They are, after all, nothing but mere children. Thus, they are silent about the demands that the Dark Lord had set upon them.
"Come with me, children."
Vader turned around to the third door of this big dome with the twins following him. It was a silent walk until the younger twin, Rubrum Rose, decided to speak up for a simple question.
"Who are you? And what's the Force?"
Vader then answered the young boy.
"My name is Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith. As for your question about the Force. It binds everything into existence; it manifests everywhere and everywhen. Without the Force, all of us would cease to exist. It is the one that had granted your perception to survive my first test."
Rubrum was astonished. An omnipresent power of why everything that he knows of truly existed in the first place. Then, it is Ruby Rose's turn to ask her question to Lord Vader.
"Where's daddy and big sister?"
Vader had expected this kind of question to come up. He had seen a big opportunity with this question. While he was on transit within Rogue Shadow, he had extracted every bit of knowledge about the twins. He came to know the relationship that the twins with their close relatives. Of course, Vader is not as manipulative as his master, Sidious. As such, he has resorted to more Forceful tactics.
"Both your father and sister had abandoned you." He had casually answered the young girl's question. The answer had put the twins in a state of disbelief. Their own beloved family members abandoning you. It is one of the worst things that can happen to any child.
"That can't be right. They can't abandon us," Ruby speaks in a saddening, meek tone.
"Yeah, you are just lying to us!" Rubrum followed up.
"If my words can't convince you," Vader slowly crouches and started to put both of his hands on the head of both children. "Then, the Force can show you the truth."
Through here, Vader had started to implant "visions "built upon the knowledge that he had gained. He had shown them "visions." The twins have seen the "Truth" that Vader had shown for them. The Dark Lord didn't stop right there. He had further planted seeds within the psyche of the two children whose psychology is still developing. These seeds aren't absolute by any stretch of the imagination, but they would prove to influence the twin's mind to the benefit of the Sith Order.
Vader had finished converting both Ruby and Rubrum to be part of the Sith. The twins who had finished witnessing the "visions" had started to fall asleep. Vader then grabbed both Ruby and Rubrum with the Force. Then, he started to walk once more, moving to their proper sleeping room. They have much to learn under him.
For years, they are taken by the Dark Lord of the Sith, who goes by the name Darth Vader after their family had "abandoned" them to the Grimm. They had become the apprentices under Vader to ensure the Sith Order's future and help Vader overthrow his master, Sidious. Yet, that came with a priceāa price of extreme brutality. They could remember that one time when Vader had thrown them to such a densely packed Jungle World with such a high gravitational pull. Furthermore, it goes by the name Cularos. The only equipment they had is their Sith robes and their lightsabers. Vader had expected them to survive such a cruel world in one month.
The world of Cularos is unforgiving, and it is filled with moving toxic plants that could move faster than the speed of sound itself. Animals that are obviously evolved to be the ultimate predator of all life. Swarming insects that love nothing to feast upon the flesh. Not to mention a primitive yet bloodthirsty and massive tribe that hunted them both day and night to no end. What made it even worse was that these tribes contain Force-sensitives.
They couldn't sleep, or else they would end up dead from the unrelenting danger of Cularos. Thankfully enough, they had learned under Vader to go beyond the need to sleep forever. They could just meditate for hours and be aware of their surroundings, detecting any threat with only the Force itself.
It was only a few days before they can end their training on Cularos that they had faced the wrath of the massive tribe. They battled entire armies of the tribe within the jungle, and that it had stretched out for hours and even to an entire week non-stop. There's no end to them. Thus, they had sought the location of the tribe and tried to kill every tribal people, including the woman and the children, to stop them.
After facing enough tribal violence, they were done with the tribes. Right now, the twins decided to stop hunting them constantly. Their plans were to prepare a Sith ritual that would allow them to consume the Force Energies of Cularos.
"Do you feel ready, sis?"
"Of course, I'm ready, brother."
"Very well, let us hope that this would work."
Naturally, they know that vengeance will be sought by the remaining tribals. The two of them would do everything in their power to make sure that such a thing would never happen to them. In order to be able to do this, they had to plunge deeply into the currents of the Force. In order for the ritual to be performed, powerful and skilled users of the Force must have gained in-depth knowledge of the Force in order to perform it. It is understood to them that failure is a possibility and they are prepared for it.
As they learned about the world of Ambria, they knew this. In fact, it is the planet that the founder of the Rule of Two visited for the purpose of healing. There is more to Ambria than just a place for Darth Bane to heal himself. There is also a history related to Ambria in which a Sith Sorceress attempted to perform a ritual there. The ritual itself is designed to gather every bit of the Force within Ambria in order to transform it into pure dark side energies which can later be consumed by the Sorceress in order to strengthen herself.
There is, however, too much demand for the Sith Sorceress to be able to complete the ritual, as such, when she is halfway through completing it, she ends up giving up on the ritual. This became too great for her to manage, and it began to unleash tremendous dark side energies, some of which were directed at the Sorceress herself, but others were not controlled in a way that she could control. It is rather on a scale of destruction that is simply devastating on the most fundamental level. After this had transpired, the ritual turned its back on the Sorceress and killed her as a result. Rubrum and Ruby are both aware that the Sith Sorceress made a mistake, and they are both determined that such a thing would not happen to them.
That is indeed what they did. Their success was what the Sorceress had not been able to achieve. A successful ritual had been performed, and the results were bountiful as a result. There was a time when Cularos was a densely populated jungle world, but they had turned it into a barren world devoid of life as a result of their ritual. There are no longer any multi-layered clouds that live in the sky; they are now gone from the sky and no longer exist to pour water down from it. As a result of the ravaging dark side energies that consumed them, every animal that had existed went extinct. The only thing left is a cloud of dust. There is no life in Cularos anymore.
Ruby and Rubrum were both amazed at the amount of power they had gathered. Having gathered such power had enabled them to survive the harsher conditions of the dead Cularos. While their ritual had succeeded in eradicating everything dangerous, the very atmosphere was also eradicated. There is no longer an element that allows any living creature of flesh to continue to exist. As a result of the lack of atmosphere, they had noticed some effects.
In order to mitigate this, they had to go into a Force trance with their whole being focused on survival. Yet they still live despite having stopped living. Trying to determine whether they still live, they might appear dead to everyone. Only another Force User or intensive testing with advanced technology can determine whether they are alive. It was there that Vader had retrieved them from the planet Cularos after they had survived to the very last day.
The two of them are now kneeling before Lord Vader, their master.
"What is thy bidding, my master."
"Several of my spies have informed me that the Jedi knight known as Kazdan Paratus was the one who was defending Raxus Prime. The two of you should kill him off and retrieve his lightsaber for me," The Dark Lord continued. "Kazdan Paratus is more powerful than the both of you. I do not expect you two to survive, but if the two of you do and give me Paratus' lightsaber. If you were to live together, you would be closer to both of your destinies."
"Yes, master" Then, they started to stand up from their kneeling position and started to leave the room and go towards the hanger that contains the Rogue Shadow. At the same time, they are walking down the hallways of the massive ship. They started to talk with one another.
"Let us hope that this Kazdan Paratus is a challenge"
"Of course, brother. It wouldn't be fun if he was so weak."
Naturally, neither of their voices conveys much emotion. The training of Vader is nothing but a series of dehumanizing actions. They are not shown any love. Only a training droid cared for them as they grew older over the years, despite its attempts to kill them. Through this process, they had learned to embrace every negative emotion while depriving themselves of all emotions that made them weak. Originally, Ruby had always been cheerful, optimistic, and jovial. The personality of Rubrum is not like his sister's. It is his nature to keep things to himself, to speak only when necessary, to be serious, and to behave in a manner consistent with his character. Taking into account the twins' personalities. There is no doubt who will suffer the most under Vader.
It had only taken a few minutes for them to finally reached their destination. Out of nowhere, someone with a blue lightsaber had ambushed from above, trying to strike the two of them down. The twins had sensed the strike with the Force and instantly moved out from the area of around more than a dozen meters away.
Their ambusher takes on the image of Anakin Skywalker, who is the greatest of the Jedi. Before, Anakin Skywalker realized that he had failed in killing the twins. Both Ruby and Rubrum had slashed the Jedi Knight with both of their crimson-colored lightsabers faster than the Jedi could react. It was then revealed that it wasn't Anakin Skywalker but rather a droid that takes on the image of Anakin Skywalker. It was their training droid who goes by the name PROXY. The slashed droid had fallen to the ground having its true body survived from the slashes that it had received.
"It seems that my attempts of eradicating the both of you had failed. I'm such a failure."
Ruby grabbed one of the hands of PROXY to help the droid to stand upright.
"At least, you had tried doing so," Ruby attempting to soothe the droid.
"Indeed, it is, after all, my core programming."
Nobody knows where PROXY came from. Ruby doesn't care about his unknown origins. As for, Rubrum, he does. He had tried to search every bit of info, whether on a literary, visual, or audio medium. The answer is absolutely nothing. That's the only thing that he could gather from the PROXY's origin. Despite the lack of knowledge, Rubrum still trusted it.
"Come on, let us focus on the mission."
That's where the three had entered the Rogue Shadow and leave the hanger of the still constructed Executor.
Raxus Prime is a world that is literally full of junk. There is literally a mountain of junk in every corner of the planet and it is literally everywhere. Because of this, there are a lot of unsavory characters in this world. Furthermore, there is a complex lane of strong magnetic fields throughout the world that makes it possible for junk to travel across the entire planet in order to be transported. The "CORE" is an artificial intelligence system which guides these complex lanes of magnetic fields.
They are now in the process of descending upon Raxus Prime, and they can sense the presence of their prey around them. Upon opening their eyes, and taking a glance out of the cockpit of the Rogue Shadow, the twins saw that there is something that is amusingly similar to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, and thus they were able to identify the target quite easily.
"Masters, it's the same structure as the Jedi Temple back on Coruscant, even the measurements are the same"
Rubrum just nodded while Ruby stated.
"I could easily see that,"
"So, would you like to go near to the temple?" Proxy asked of them.
Rubrum responded to PROXY by speaking.
"No, I could sense that Kazdan Paratus would sense our presence approaching him. It would be better if you had us drop somewhere safe and far,"
"Very well, master."
The starship was piloted by PROXY to another location. It had only taken a few seconds for the starship to locate a safe location. It was not safe by any normal standard, as there were many pools of acidic liquids, groups of scavengers moving about armed with strong weapons, and so on. It should be noted, however, that this location is relative to most of Raxus Prime. In general, it was a safe environment.
PROXY had halted the ship's movement and instead hovered above the ground about a few meters. It was at this point that the twins began to leave the cockpit. They reached the ship's ramp and began pressing one of the buttons to open it. Once the ramp had fully opened up, they leapt down with catlike grace from the edge.
After a few hours of travel, they had reached Kazdan's Junk Jedi Temple. Their path is filled with many obstacles, which they are all able to overcome with ease. The twins' sheer power annihilated them all. There is also the purple-skinned Rodian scavenger, Drexl Roosh. In Raxus Prime, he is the sole leader of the entire scavenger group.
It wasn't easy to fight him, but like all the others, it wasn't impossible. As all of the other victims of the twins, Drexl had failed as well. They no longer encounter any Scavengers or Jawas after defeating Drexl, but they still encounter Kazdan Paratus-powered Force-based Droids.
Their journey had finally come to an end when they met the Jedi they were supposed to kill. The Jedi in question appeared to be a diminutive blue humanoid with a long head that curved backwards slightly. In addition, it is also enhanced by cybernetics, which gives it two legs and two hands with which to hold a lightsaber.
"At last, Kazdan Paratus, we had met. Your own droid army isn't enough to stop us." Rubrum boldly declared.
"Yeah, we had fun taking them down." followed by his twin sister, Ruby.
Taking offense to this, the Jedi turned to face the twins while simultaneously activating a blue blade on his lightsaber pike.
"Don't worry, my masters. I'll defend all of you from these two Sith scumbags" The Jedi spoke with such venom.
It was then that the Jedi had leapt with such great speed that it took the Sith apprentices by surprise. Thanks to their quick reaction, they were able to move out of the path of the incoming strike. Both of them had taken out their lightsabers and activated them, which displayed the bright red color of the lightsabers. Ruby had thrown two of her lightsabers, which Kazdan had dodged with ease. In a mere nanosecond, Rubrum had closed the distance between him and Kazdan, who was focused on dodging the moving lightsabers while he watched Rubrum's movements.
In his mind, he had thought that he would be able to kill the Jedi Knight easily. It is Rubrum who is wrong. The fast and agile Kazdan Paratus somehow manages to focus his attention on defending himself against the two flying lightsabers while blocking the lightsaber strikes that are being directed towards him. There was no doubt that this was not going to be an easy fight at all. There is no doubt that it would be a difficult task.
Rubrum began to send storms of silver lightning that would cause the Jedi to fall victim to the storms. As amusing as it may sound, it seems that the Jedi don't seem to have a strong defense against an attack of this kind. It is true that they exploited this type of weakness for a short period of time, but only for a limited time. After being struck by lightning, the Jedi had begun to push away everything intensely with the Force in an omnidirectional manner.
Suddenly, Kazdan rose from the ground and sprang up onto the roof of the Jedi Council Chamber, where he began to summon a small group of Force-draining droids, Scrap Guardians, and Junk Titans to his assistance. It was estimated that there were dozens of them. A combined effort was made by both Ruby and Rubrum in an attempt to destroy the small army. With the Force, they were able to blast the entire group into pieces after just a few seconds of concentrating on it. There were many of them who fell from the temple of the Jedi and landed in the mounds of Raxus Prime's junk that littered the ground.
Kazdan Paratus began to collect the diverse and countless trash floating within one of the countless and complex lanes of a strong magnetic field. It was thrown with a speed equivalent to the speed of a blaster bolt by the Jedi. There are hundreds of them. There was a storm of junk raining down on the two Sith apprentices, but they dodged elegantly through the hail of junk. It only stopped for about 30 seconds. It was at this point in the fight that Kazdan Paratus had violently jumped down upon them.
It seemed that Ruby and Rubrum had been fighting with the Jedi Kazdan Paratus to no end for quite some time. Basically, it could be described as a battle of attrition. The winner is the one who has survived longer in terms of fighting capability, and the loser is the one who has become tired of such constant fighting.
In just a few hours, everything will be revealed. Having fought for several hours, Kazdan Paratus was becoming increasingly desperate. Regarding the twins, they are still in a decent condition to continue fighting for their lives. There is no indication that either of them is tired at all. As the fight progresses, Paratus' method of fighting is becoming more frantic as he tries to win.
In the end, Rubrum grabbed a very large object from one of the lanes of the magnetic field and began throwing it down. It would have been easy for Paratus to dodge, however fatigue is taking over as a result of the damage he has sustained. It was difficult for the Jedi to dodge the incoming attack. Due to the speed at which it was traveling, it struck the Jedi and shattered it into a million pieces.
As a result, both Ruby and Rubrum had deactivated their lightsabers and placed them in their belts. Kazdan's lightsaber pike was grabbed by Rubrum with the Force. After that, the Jedi spoke.
"I' m sorry, masters. I've failed all of you again." The Jedi lamented his failures before passing away in a brilliant flash of Force energy, essentially becoming one with the Force.
"Well, that's pretty intense," Ruby remarked at what had just happened. There was no doubt in her mind that the fight was intense and she could feel it intensely. In Rubrum's case, he just moved his right arm toward his mouth.
"PROXY, we're done here."
They had returned to their master, Darth Vader, after they had dealt with the Jedi, Kazdan Paratus. Rubrum was the only one who would speak while Ruby was silent.
"Kazdan Paratus is dead, master, and this is also his lightsaber."
The Dark Lord of the Sith had grabbed the lightsaber pike and inspected it carefully with the Force. There was no lie in what they said. There is no doubt that Kazdan Paratus was killed by them.
"Then, there is just one final test before everything is ready,"
"A final test?"
"Indeed, you two haven't faced a true Jedi Master who is part of the Jedi Council. Defeating one of them would prove mastery over the Dark Side. You two aren't ready to challenge the emperor yet."
"Who would be from the Jedi Council that we would kill?"
"Master Shaak Ti. She is training an army of Force Sensitives on the planet Felucia. The two of you must gather all of the power in order to defeat her."
"We wouldn't disappoint you, master."
Leaving the room together, Rubrum and Ruby went back to the hangar to board the Rogue Shadow. Any opponent that they would have to face, it does not matter to them who it would be. As long as they are one step closer to freedom, then they are willing to do whatever it takes to get there.
From everything that the twins had ever faced in their lives. There is no doubt that Shaak Ti is the hardest of all of them. In fact, it is even more drastic than Kazdan Paratus or anything that has happened in their Sith training. She had not only the entire planet at her disposal in her fight against the twins, but she also had an enormous Sarlaac Pit supporting her every step of the way during her battle. In any case, as with every other opponent that they had faced in the past, it was no different this time around. In the same way, the Jedi Master had also succumbed to death.
"You two are nothing but Vader's slaves," she gasped for some air, "both of your powers are wasted with him. You two could be so much more."
"You'll never convince me to betray my Master." Rubrum rebuke strongly against the Jedi Master's tricks. Ruby only stayed silent from the statement.
"You poor boy. The Sith had always betrayed each other. In time, you would lose everything and regret."
This incentivizes Rubrum to make a Force Push against Shaak Ti into the maw of the Sarlaac Pit in an angry manner. Did that Jedi master just insinuate that there would be a time that he would lose his twin sister? Of course, Rubrum wanted to believe otherwise.
"Let us get out of here. Right now." Cold anger filled Rubrum's voice.
Thus, they returned to the landing spot of the Rogue Shadow after leaving Shaak Ti's resting place. While walking back to the ship. It wasn't long after that Ruby began to talk to Rubrum.
"Hey, brother. Do you think what she is talking is true?" It is as if something bad is happening within her, and she doesn't like it at all, especially after what Shaak Ti said in her last words.
"Of course not, Ruby. She's nothing but someone who would try to trick us. Don't think what she stated is true." As far as this subject matter is concerned, he does not want to deal with it.
"I'd hope so." Ruby as always agrees with her twin brother.
However, in spite of that, it does not take away her worrying feeling that dwells within her. In any case, at least she had her twin brother to reassure her that such a thing would never happen to them.
A/N: So, this is where I would end the chapter here. Nevertheless, please follow if you're interested, favorite if you like it, and review if you wanted to state something clearly.
Also, as for the Vader bit, he had tried to convert the twins to the Sith Order. It should be noted that the visions aren't true at all. They can be best considered as forgeries.
