"We've gone back and forth so many times already, Silver. How long are we going to do this?"
Silver turned his head back to look at his best friend. His closest friend. His only friend.
"We have to destroy Iblis! If we don't, it'll just come back over and over and over!"
Blaze facepalmed. She shook her head. He had said the same thing the last time they had defeated Iblis.
"Silver! This isn't working! We have to try something else," Blaze grunted, pulling Silver away for a moment.
"What else can we do?" Silver asked. "We've beaten him over and over, but he still comes back!"
Maniacal laughter echoed from a hidden space…
He reached out to the sky as the embers floated away.
Silver's eyes welled up in tears as the last bit of hope left him.
"Sorry, but I have no time for games."
