authors note I had major writers block for the past week trying to come up with some thing sorry if its a little different. BW12

"I think I can do this." Piper's fear is so strong.

"Do what?" Percy asked

"Just listen, okay?" Piper took a deep breath "Everybody listen."

She met the eyes of everyone in the room except for me I don't think that anyone noticed that I am here. "Eidolons," Piper said "raise your hands."

Tense silence follows

Leo laughed nervously "Did you really think that was going to- ?" his voice died. His face went slack. He raised his hand. Percy and Jason did the same. Their eyes had turned golden and glassy. Hazel caught her breath. Next to Leo, Frank scrambled out of his chair and put his back against the wall.

"Oh, gods" Annabeth looked at Piper imploringly "Can you cure them?"

Piper looked to Leo "Are there more of you on the ship?" she asked

"No" Leos voice was hallow "The earth mother sent three. The strongest, the best. We will live again."

"Not here, you won't." Piper growled, "All three of you listen carefully."

Jason and Percy looked at Piper.

"You will leave those bodies," Piper commanded

"No" Percy said

Leo let out a soft hiss "We must live"

Frank fumbled for his bow. "Mars almighty, that's creepy! Get out of here sprites. Leave our friends alone."

Leo turned toward him "You cannot command us child of war. Your own life is fragile. Your soul could burn at any moment."

Frank stumbled like he'd been punched in the gut. I had no idea what that meant but I did know that they were running out of time.

Hands shaking Frank drew an arrow. "I… I've faced worse than you. If you want a fight…"

"Frank, don't" Hazel said standing

Next to her Jason drew his sword. I got ready to intercede the strike.

"Stop," Pipers voice was shaking.

"Listen to Piper." Hazel said pointing to Jason's sword it sunk to the table. It landed there with a clunk.

Jason sank back into his chair.

Percy growled in a very un- Percy like way. "Daughter of Pluto, you may control gems and metals. But you do not control the dead."

Annabeth reached forward as if to restrain Percy but Hazel waved her off. For the first time I realized I was shaking.

"Listen eidolons," Hazel said sternly "you do not belong here I may not control the dead but Piper does obey her."

"You will leave those bodies." Piper repeated more forcefully

Jason's face tightened. His forehead beaded with sweat.

"We- we will leave these bodies."

"You will vow on the river Styx never to return to this ship," Piper continued "and never to possess any of the crew."

Leo and Percy both hissed in protest.

"You will promise on the river Styx" Piper insisted.

I unsheathed my claws ready if they rebelled.

Then all three eidolons spoke in unison "We promise on the river Styx."

"You are dead" Piper said

"We are dead" they agreed

"Now, leave"

The boys slump forward. Percy face plants his pizza. Hazel and Piper catch Jason. But Frank made no move to catch Leo. So I shift into human to catch him I miss and he hits the ground.

"Ow!" He says lifting himself up

"Sorry!" For a few seconds we just stand there stunned. Then I place my hand in the air surrendering. I knew I could beat them but I really didn't want to try my luck. Jason recovers first. "Who are you?"

"I am Lilia." I place my hands at my sides

"What are you doing here?" Percy asks

"I really don't have a purpose," I say truthfully I look at him his face is of confusion like he knows me from some were.

I cross my arms "I have done no harm to you or this ship, I have to go."

That is when Percy strikes surprising everyone in the room. Before I have time to do anything Percy's hand is around my throat in the other Riptide. His grip is tight and I can barely breathe.

"You…" Percy chokes on his rage. I am terrified, so I project it out ward at Percy. I feel a tugging in my gut I use the last of my consciousness to look him in the eye. You are in Alaska, you are in the muskeg, and you are drowning. I say not aloud but to his fear. His grip fails and he crumples. I fall to my knees gasping. I am dimly aware of Percy beside me shivering on the ground. I stand and grab riptide and hold it at my side. I'm light headed but I think I can get out of here.

"If you want me to let him go, I suggest you don't try anything funny." I growl my throat hoarse I lift my illusion on Percy. He stirs but I don't pay him any mind.

"Listen, I had no choice." I wheeze "I wouldn't harm anyone unless I have to I had to." They don't attack so I forge ahead "I'm Lidia a demi-god and this is why Percy attacked me." I hold up my right hand with my charm bracelet the scythe charm glints in the light. Annabeth gasped, "Yes" I nod "You recognize it but you don't recognize me. Almost no one knows me, the spy for the gods in the war."

Percy stares at me from the ground, "Sp…spy?" He stuttered

"Yes, I was a spy, I gave information to Hermes every time I got the chance, I was not a spy at first, no but I saw sense. It was dangerous, yes but I did the work gladly trying to do something to fix my mistake."

I put Riptide on the table and extended my hand to Percy to help him up. He accepts it and I help him up.

"One thing I don't get, if you were a spy. Why didn't you fight with us on the boat?"

"Two reasons, one I was a spy for the gods yes, but I still hadn't forgiven you for destroying my home and two if I did fight with you I wouldn't have been able to continue to give information to the gods. I know you blame me, but I never would have let it happen, I still blame myself for it."

The room starts spinning and I stumble, grabbing the table.

"Could we continue this later I think that I might pass out in the next couple of minutes." And for the second time this week I pass out in front of people I don't know or trust.

A/N I had to do it. I love a good mystery. Did any of you get the reference to The Last Olympian.
