Liltotto seems to know more than she let on. Candice seems quite happy. Orihime and Sakuto had a nice moment together. They would be nice releases for her Zanpakuto. Kenpachi could do. Yeah, they could work together during that part. I am sure Sosuke experimented on many things. They both are aware of what Sakuto could be capable of doing. We shall see how it goes with the Visoreds. I can't spoil about that arc yet, all I can say is things will be shaken up. Kensei could do.

Chapter 7
Seeing the five Quincy girls tied up, Rukia and the others, with Sakuto using his net to keep them secure, Sakuto looked towards the five Quincy girls, one in particular he looked at with furrowing eyebrows.
"Now that you've been caught, we wish to converse with you further."
Rukia began, with Bambietta showing a wicked grin.
"First you talk of peace, then you have hidden people up your sleeve!"
"So did you."
Rukia dead panned, Bambietta huffed.
"That is entirely different to what we're talking about now."
When Bambietta said it, Rukia raised an eyebrow.
"No it isn't, its the same thing. We both didn't trust one another, therefore we both came prepared. Now we have the opportunity to speak to one another, and discuss what's truly going on between us. Because we have been working on something that with your help, would bring an end, or at least begin to build bridges between our people."
Rukia said it in a way that she tried to connect to Bambietta.
But the young woman wasn't listening, and gave a defiant glare towards her.
"Yeah right. When I blow this net off of me..."
"The hell you will!"
Candice yelled, giving Rukia a slight jump at the sudden tone shift.
"Candice, not now!"
"You blow it up, we get caught up in it dummy! And as if I'm going to have my body being damaged because of you! So seriously, don't do anything stupid now!"
Candice scowled at Bambietta who in turn did it right back.
However, just then, Liltotto let out a small sigh.
"I didn't want to have to be the one who shows their ability first. But I guess it would be the easiest for me to show my power to get through this." To the Shinigami's surprise, Liltotto began showing strange movements with her mouth, almost as if her mouth and jaw were growing. "I will eat our way out of here."
This intrigued Sakuto, who watched her move her mouth, and take a bite out of the net that he used made out of Kido energy. Astonishment came to him, seeing that her teeth were actually being able to break through, and it looked as if she was truly eating it.
"Eh...what kind of Quincy power is that Sakuto?"
"Honestly, to think that they've got some kind of powers like this, its intriguing, I remember reading about strange powers some Quincy's have..."
Replying to Rukia, Sakuto saw Liltotto devour the net completely, breaking them all out.
Nemu leaned forward, and while not showing it as openly as Sakuto was, she also was intrigued by this turn of events.
"Sakuto-sama, two now have possessed powers that Quincy traditionally do not possess. What is happening here?"
Sakuto raised a finger to his chin, and he looked at the situation before him to try and understand what was happening.
"Hmm, that is a good question Nemu-san. Now this is definitely intriguing. I have to admit that this is fascinating. She ate that power, now what does that become? More energy for her? Can she assimilate what she eats and use it as her own? And if she does, does it last long? Or can she keep the power indefinitely? Simply intriguing..."
As Sakuto examined what was going on, they broke free, and stood in a line together.
Each looked over the trio of Shinigami, Rukia, Sakuto and Nemu in turn eyed them all up as well.
Though, Candice when she saw Sakuto, suddenly started to lightly turn red in the face, and her eyes danced all over his form. Taking in every inch of his form, Candice licked her lips, which Sakuto caught, raising a brow at her.
Candice seductively smiled towards him, so Sakuto gently smiled right back towards her, Candice immediately giggled to herself, and turned to Bambietta.
"Alright, its enough of your little tirade."
"You what?"
Bambietta thought she heard wrong, though Candice put her on the right tracks immediately.
"You heard me. Its enough of this tirade you've got going on. Clearly, we can work something out-"
"You are only saying that because you think he's hot!"
"He is hot!"
Candice snapped at Bambietta, who in turn scowled.
"Whatever, you aren't even fighting him. You've got the girl who seems emotionless."
"I would not describe Rukia Kuchiki as emotionless." Nemu began, Rukia giving a bewildered look. "Certainly, she does possess the ability to remain stoic in certain situations..."
"She was talking about you."
Rukia cleared up as she gave her a side eye look, Nemu tilted her head.
"I understand. Though, I am working on showing emotions, Sakuto-sama has been tutoring me on the art of smiling. Smiling, can go along way, according to the research that I have delved into."
Candice rubs her hands aggressively through her own hair.
"Ugggggh! Seriously?! I have to fight her?! I want the hot guy!"
"You will do as I tell you and like it!"
Bambietta snapped, Liltotto sighed, and looked towards Sakuto.
"I am sorry, they get like this sometimes."
Bambietta and Candice both give her dark looks while Giselle played happily with her hair.
"Yeah, they go so wild. But its so cute at the same time, and then Meninas-chan always says something that pisses them off even more~"
"I don't. Though, their childishness is making us seem like no threat to the enemy."
Meninas ended, Candice and Bambietta both yelled "Hey, I'm not childish!" as Giselle gave a peace sign.
"See~? She has a knack for pissing them off~"
Sakuto slowly nods, and looks to Rukia and Nemu.
"Nemu-san, will you take that Candice-san girl? But be careful, like her friends, she's got an unknown power not associated with the common Quincy."
"Understood. I shall fight, and adjust my strategy as needed."
Nemu nods affirmatively, as Rukia looks towards Bambietta.
"Sakuto, I'll fight her."
"Going by levels of spirit energy, she's the highest, and her destructive power is undeniable. You sure you want her?"
Hearing that, Rukia looked on with squinting eyes, then understood what might happen, so she looked determined as ever.
"Yes, I am. Please leave her to me. She came to me directly, I wish to see this through to the end."
"Alright, but be careful. Use everything in your arsenal if you feel the need, okay Rukia-chan?"
"Right, I'll do my best."
Rukia nods, then Sakuto looks to the three remaining female Quincy.
"Well, lucky me. I've got three cute girls to fight against~"
Sakuto played it off with a joke, but he took it rather seriously, as he was intrigued to find out what their individual powers would be. Like Liltotto, and Bambietta had shown, he could also sense there was something different about the others as well.
Then they all split off to fight their individual enemies.
Meanwhile, Hiyori was currently enjoying her time, eating some of her favourite food, and the base she was at, was mostly empty for the time being, as she knew some of the others were doing some stuff Shinji had asked them to do.
However, there was one that was annoying her.
"Shinji, are you really sure we're not even going to see him?! To see what he knows about Aizen!"
Kensei, a young tall man with white hair, and an expression that showed a strong disposition.
"As I explained, Urahara is dealing with Sakuto Aizen."
"Tch, and we can't even go and see him?"
"Because you're angry about what happened 100 years ago, I don't think its the best thing to do right now..."
As Shinji said it, Kensei slammed his hand down to the ground, punching it with enough force that caused Hiyori to twitch an eyebrow.
"Of course I am, and now with him being here...we could finally get our revenge on Aizen for what he did to us."
"Yes, for what he did to us. That boy didn't have anything to do with what happened to us that night. That was all Aizen."
"You can't say that for sure." Kensei began, clicking his tongue in frustration. "We don't know what he could be capable of doing, considering how his brother is."
Shinji gave a sigh, while Hiyori rolled her eyes with the same annoyance that she felt for a good while.
"Right, I'll shut you up now."
Hiyori interjected, causing Kensei to whip his head around towards her.
"What did you say?"
"I said, I'll shut you up now. First, you're acting as if he's like in cahoots with Aizen, second you're speaking as if you're trying to place the blame onto him for something he'd have nothing to do with. I was there that night too, and saw what happened with my own eyes."
"We saw until we were passed out. We don't know what happened after that."
"Seriously? Then maybe after we passed out, magical elves came and danced around us. You could literally say anything happened, and who's to say it didn't? Think a little bit you know?" Hiyori laughed out to the irritated Kensei. "Get it, you're pissed off. So am I. I hate Aizen, I don't hate Sakuto. You can't help what family you're born into. They're two completely different people. It isn't his fault his brothers an evil asshole."
"Wow, that's profound coming from you Hiyori."
Hiyori glared at Shinji, whispering "Shut up." causing Shinji to huff and turn his head, then she turned back to Kensei.
"Anyway, don't do something stupid. I'm going out to find me a Quincy girl."
"Why do you get to do that, but I can't go and find Sakuto Aizen?"
"Because I have legit reasons for going after the Quincy! And staying around you is making me really pissed off! So, I'm off! Don't wait up for me!"
Hiyori let out an exasperated breath, and shot out of the area, leaving behind an annoyed Kensei, and a curious Shinji.
Back on the battlefield, to begin with, Candice and Nemu came up against one another, and went to a different area to fight against one another.
The Quincy girl immediately released lightning all around her form. Her hands lit up, and she showed an aggressive grin that Nemu would compare to those she had seen in the Soul Society who loved to fight.
"Well, I was hoping to take that boy on. But, I guess a girl wouldn't be so bad to roast first!"
Nemu remained stoic, seeing Candice was trying to intimidate her by flaring her electricity all around her being.
"I do not wish to be roasted. So, I would like to begin my battle with you. You use electricity it seems, another ability not known to be possessed by Quincy."
Candice smirked.
"Fine with me. Because after you've been defeated, I'm going to go and comfort that sweet looking Shinigami."
Nemu, for reasons she didn't quite understand, didn't like the sound of that.
"You wish to comfort Sakuto-sama?"
"Exactly right, and when we are...aaah! I can already feel it deep within my body! I am sure that he's very...well, you're a girl. You can't tell me you've never wanted to do anything with that Shinigami before."
"Sakuto-sama and I have a close relationship."
"Ooh, so you've begun experimenting together, have you?"
Candice meant it in a sexual way, but Nemu took it very literally, and nods her head without pause.
"Yes, we have often conducted experiments together, and the results show for themselves."
Candice gasped, and waves her hands back and forth.
"Seriously!? Admitting you've been with that Shinigami already!"
"I...do not understand your sudden excitement over scientific experiments. Please explain."
Candice sweat dropped, and pointed her electrical filled hand towards Nemu.
"Honestly, I'm not going to do that, its a bit much for me. So, I'll have to finish you off with my power!"
Candice released a bolt of electricity for Nemu, who dodged to the surprise of Candice, Nemu dashed across the ground, the dirt being erupted with each step she took on said ground.
Candice didn't want her to approach, so she placed her hands on the ground, and yelled "Have this!" releasing a charged wave of electrical energy across the ground, so Nemu leapt up into the air, and then kicked the air, to repel her down towards Candice, holding her sword out before her to slash the young Quincy down.
"Get the hell away from me!"
Candice charged electricity around her, and leapt to the side, increasing her speed to the point Nemu missed when she got before her, then Candice appeared behind her, and placed her hand out towards Nemu.
Nemu looked calm, as Candice shot off a blast of electrical energy for Nemu.
However, Nemu turned around, and took the blast head on with her Zanpakuto, pushing back against the power fired off against her, and then swung her sword to the side, diverting the blast albeit with some light burns to her hand, catching even Nemu off guard.
"It appears your power is more potent than I had calculated. I shall adjust, and continue my fight against you."
"Eh...you are speaking a bit weirdly for my tastes, but it seems that you have seen my power. Cooler than Bambietta, right? She can create her little bombs, I control freaking electricity! Isn't that freaking awesome?!"
Nemu tilts her head, as Candice simply shoots a number of electrical bolts towards her.
Using her nimble movements, Nemu dances across the battlefield as she avoids the attacks over and over again, then she sees an opening, so she kicks off of the ground, and launches herself towards Candice once more.
Getting before the unassuming Quincy, Candice widens her eyes as Nemu's sword comes inches of cutting her body, so Candice yells "Nooo!" which allows her to release a bunch of electrical bolts around her, repelling Nemu.
Understanding this, Nemu turns her sword onto Candice, and strengthens her resolve.
"It seems that my estimations on your ability is becoming clearer to me. You have the ability to manipulate and control the shape to a degree of your electricity. However, I have analyzed this, and I believe I have a countermeasure for this ability."
Candice looked perplexed.
"Are you seriously being funny right now? Yeah, you've suddenly gained this ability to counter me."
"No, it isn't a sudden ability. It is an ability that I have possessed for my entire existence."
Nemu began twisting her hand, and her forearm, at rapid speeds. Eventually, it wasn't able to be made out to be like a hand at all, and more akin to a drill. With her sword grasped between her fingers, the Zanpakuto also was twisting to a high degree, increasing its destructive capabilities.
"Wait, wait, wait. How does a Shinigami do something like that? Am I missing something here?"
"I am a case that while I am classed as a Shinigami, I do not originate as normal Shinigami do. I was created for the purpose of my Master."
Candice scratches her cheek curiously, but then shrugs, and aims her hand forward.
"Great, then lets keep going!"
Releasing another burst of electricity, Candice thought that Nemu was exaggerating her own power.
However, it was shown that she wasn't, and as the lightning approached her, Nemu thrust her drill like arm out, and dispelled the electricity as it danced all around her. The blade allowed Nemu to not directly touch the lightning, saving her from receiving any damage.
"Oh...shit."
Candice watched as Nemu rapidly shot for her, so she released large amounts of electricity. Nemu, thanks to her skills, found the areas where the lightning would be easiest to divert, and swung her drill like sword in that direction, breaking through the attacks, and dispelling them all around her, so she released more bolts, only for Nemu to divert, and break her way through the attacks.
Candice saw in no time that Nemu finally got in close.
"Get lost moron!"
As Candice said it, she attempted to put distance between them, only for Nemu to appear behind her, and slam her in the right hand side with a nicely timed kick, with Nemu's enhanced strength, Candice was eating dirt in no time, drawing heavy groans of pain from the young Quincy, as her body smashed deep into the ground.
Nemu slowed her drill arm to a stop, while Candice peeled herself up off of the ground, some injuries across her body appearing and bleeding.
"Now that I have managed to damage you, I wish to speak to you about you stopping the fight with me. I currently do not wish to fight you anymore."
"Tch...you think this is all I have inside of me?"
Candice said with her strong resolve in her eyes, but Nemu shakes her head.
"Perhaps you could continue on, however it would be best if we do not fight anymore. For your sake, and my own."
Candice looked at Nemu, and tried to figure her out.
"Honestly...you are a weird Shinigami for sure. Being able to rotate your hand like that...though I can't say that it isn't a bad fight. I did want to fight that sexy Shinigami...but, I at least get to test these powers out!"
"Test...I understand."
Nemu silently watched Candice, who was rather than showing a blood lusting smile, seemed to be enjoying herself more than anything else...and Nemu wondered more about her, and the others, trying to figure out their intentions...
Meanwhile, Sakuto was surrounded by Giselle, Liltotto, and Meninas. The three girls circulated him, while he slowly withdrew his Zanpakuto. Each of them began to make bows and arrows of various different arrowheads.
He saw little skulls on Giselle's, little mouths on Liltotto's, and hearts on Meninas's arrowheads.
"Well, I suppose I couldn't simply ask you girls to stop huh."
"Afraid to fight sweet girls like us?"
Giselle giggled out, Sakuto shook his head.
"Not at all, I simply can sense that you're not evil to your cores. Even bomb girl over there. So, that's why I want to see if I can bargain with you without us having to fight."
Meninas ran her fingers through her hair in a cute manner.
"We're so not going to fall for your sexy charms, so we have to fight."
Sakuto blinked at what Meninas said, seemingly even she didn't realize the full extent of what she said, and then Liltotto let out a small sigh.
"Trust me, I didn't want to fight you either. I know who you are, Sakuto Aizen. Its practically suicide to try and fight you. But apart of me also wishes to see if it is simply rumour of your power. I'm trying to figure these things out."
When Liltotto said it truthfully, Sakuto believed he understood where she was coming from.
"I see, so you want a demonstration do you?"
"If you will."
Liltotto replied, as she raised her bow, the same for Meninas and Giselle.
"Then show me what you've got girls with your interesting abilities, and I will show you as well."
Hearing that, the girls split off so they were in front, behind, and to the right hand side, in the form of a triangle around him, and all had their arrows ready to fire at any moments notice, Sakuto grasped his sword tightly, and got ready himself.
"Girls, fire."
When Liltotto gave the word, the trio of ladies all fired their arrows at the same time. Coming from three sides, it looked like a barrage from all sides, and yet, Sakuto remained calm, and began moving his blade.
"Hah!"
In fluid motions, they saw something rather outstanding, and that was he began batting away the arrows with his blade. But not only batting them away, he was changing their trajectory so they began colliding with other incoming arrows, and driving them off course all together, so they'd either land on the ground, or being stabbed into various objects all the way around him.
It was so beautiful in Liltotto's eyes that she had to admire that he was able to do that against three opponents, all firing at different times, different speeds, and varying different levels of strength behind their arrows as well, she thought that was a true sign of a seasoned warrior to be capable of that.
"Wow! He's so cool! I'd love to have him on our side~"
Giselle sang happily out, Meninas gave an apathetic look to Giselle.
"But, he's totally the enemy, so we have to try even harder, right?"
Liltotto locked eyes with Sakuto, who in turn stayed very calm.
More than that, he wasn't breaking a sweat, so she knew they'd have to try something else, or else they'd not make any headways.
"Switch it up, Meninas go in hard and heavy."
Meninas nods, and stops her arrow assault, as do the others, before charging for Sakuto.
The young man watches her approach, and tightens her fist.
"A Quincy that's a hand to hand type, that's interesting. Not usual for a Quincy to do that."
As Sakuto thought it, the young woman came down with her fist aimed for Sakuto.
Side stepping, he saw the fist smash into the ground with a very surprising amount of physical strength, more than what he would have thought he'd see when fighting against a Quincy, to the point that the ground shattered, and the area shook as a result.
Leaping out of the way, he saw Liltotto go behind him, with her jaw and mouth enlarging and extending to try and bite his body, almost as if she was trying to devour him whole, so he flipped forwards, and repelled her enlarged mouth, sending it upwards, and flying backwards at the same time.
"Ugh…!"
Liltotto grunted, so Giselle got before Sakuto, using rather surprising speed, and aimed an arrow for his upper body, nearing his neck, and when she fired, he used his lightning fast reflexes to grab said arrow, and throw it right back towards the young Quincy girl who dodged out of the way, only to see Sakuto right beside her.
"Ooh, are we going to become better acquainted?!"
Giselle tried to turn her bow and arrow onto Sakuto, but he quickly grabbed her hands, and forced them down, stopping her from firing.
"Maybe when this is over."
As he said it, Meninas appeared behind him, and readied up her punch, swinging for behind his head, so he ducked out of the way, avoiding the strike, and then slammed his foot backwards, and fired her across the ground.
To her credit, he saw that she actually was able to tank his kick, and she wasn't pushed as far back as she usually would have been if it had been a regular Quincy, making him believe that she held a good bit of durability as well as raw physical strength.
"Not bad...sorry I didn't catch your name."
"Meninas McAllon." The girl said with an apathetic look on her face. "You don't have to worry, because I'm going to flatten you like a pancake."
"You might have great strength, but if you can't hit your opponent. Then that strength is meaningless."
Meninas furrowed her eyebrows in a cute manner, and launched herself towards Sakuto, so he, still holding onto Giselle, threw the girl at Meninas, who in turn caught her, turning her eyes back to Sakuto who had vanished.
"Look out behind you, idiot!"
Liltotto yelled, Meninas widened her eyes, and saw Sakuto standing in the air, above her, and his eyes upon her, his blade going towards her body, so she raised her speed as much as she could do, and swung her fist out for him to try and break his body apart.
Though he vanished in a burst of speed, appearing beside her this time, and his blade swung for her body once more.
"Back off!"
Liltotto fired a myriad of arrows for him, so he placed his hand out, generating a barrier strong enough for the arrows to not get through, and then used his blade, the blunt side, catching Meninas up, and he with his own strength, fired her off towards a building where she broke through one of the windows, along with Giselle since Meninas was still holding onto her.
Sakuto then turned towards Liltotto who furrowed her brows.
"And then it was you, Quincy girl. I sense that you're more reasonable than the others. So, let me ask. Why did you and your group attack?"
"It was that idiot Bambietta, got riled up with the others. I stick with them because...well, they're my friends. Piss me off to no end, but what friend doesn't now and again?"
"Very admirable of you. Though those strange powers you've got, I'm quite interested in learning on how you got them."
"I might tell you, if you win."
Sakuto slowly nods, glancing behind him then fully faced Liltotto once more.
"Because Meninas-san is behind me is the reason why you look calm, right?" Sakuto turned, and saw Meninas lifting an entire building up with one hand. "Holy crap, you've got some strength there. Are you like Superwoman or something?"
Meninas gave a contemplating look.
"Superwoman...I like it."
"I'm glad~" Sakuto chuckled, as she angled the building towards him. "Seriously, throwing buildings at people, that's a very bad thing to do. Especially towards someone who didn't want to fight you to begin with."
"Its okay to be bad sometimes. Please forgive me if you're crushed, you are pretty cute so it does pain me to do this."
Meninas replied softly, then she tossed an entire building at him. Being three stories high, Sakuto watched as the building came towards him.
Sakuto held his blade tightly within his hand, and then with his blade moving highly fast, Sakuto shred through the entire building, cutting it into circular chunks that fell all around him, shocking the three Quincy girls.
"Sorry that I have to do this now~" Sakuto apologized, as he saw Giselle and Liltotto rush him with a multitude of arrows firing. "Hado 57, Daichi Tenyo."
From the previously destroyed building, the chunks rose into the air akin to telekinesis, and acted as shields towards the attacking arrows, blocking all arrows from reaching him, then Sakuto cracked his neck towards the two girls on the ground, firing off the chunks for him in a massive barrage of debris.
"Ooh shit..."
Liltotto murmured, and tried to retreat, when Sakuto placed his hand backwards, muttering "No escaping now girls." and caused a barrier to form behind them, blocking off their paths entirely, so the debris kept going for them.
"Well, weren't expecting that, huh. Maybe we should reconsider not being on this guys bad side~? Besides, he's pretty cute, so it would be okay to quit now, right?"
Giselle wondered, while Liltotto growled "Now is not the time to talk so casually!" as Meninas came down, and unleashed a barrage of strikes with her fists, breaking through various pieces of debris, but some managed to get through and slam into their bodies, breaking through all together, and forced the trio onto the ground with groans coming out of their mouths.
"You girls are intriguing. Yet, I sense despite your powers, something else is going on here. I didn't see Blut being used during our fight, either the offensive or defensive type, it could be possible you have access to it." The girls looked astonished, as Sakuto pulled closer towards them. "Still, your skills are above average, and I sense a great deal of potential from all of you. Just because you have those different powers, don't neglect your basic Quincy ones."
"Ooh...he's so considerate~ He's really being nice to us~ Ooh my, it feels as if my body is feeling hot all of a sudden~ I can't control these feelings deep within me now~"
Giselle giggled out with glee, Liltotto let out a breath.
"Clearly...the rumours aren't simply that. You have more power than I'd expect, and the fact that you didn't even release your Zanpakuto either...it is astounding. Alright, we bow out of this fight."
Sakuto gave a cheerful smile, and clapped his hands together.
"Wonderful, now lets talk about how we can move forward from here."
Liltotto didn't voice her thoughts, but when seeing what happened, she thought "Indeed, the rumours are true. Despite our numbers, he didn't break a sweat. Plus, he could also be under the limiter of Shinigami's when coming to the human world... Though he is right, we did neglect our Blut...could it have been...maybe we should invest time into that...even then, he definitely is strong, yet during our fight, I sensed no malice despite how some like Bamibetta has been showing to their group..." and watched as he approached them, placing his hands towards them, and activated healing Kido.
"Eh...you are healing us?"
Meninas wondered, Giselle nodding strongly.
"Ooh my! Such a kind gentleman! I'm glad that we're together like this!"
"A kind Shinigami...who knew."
Meninas finished off, as she and the others had their injuries healed thanks to Sakuto's skills in healing Kido.
As that was going on, back with Bambietta and Rukia, the pair faced off against one another. Bambietta rather than form a bow and arrow, placed her hand out, and gathered Reishi from all around, mixing it with her spiritual energy, and formed a blade.
Looking like a sabre that looked rather real to Rukia's eyes to the point that it even looked like a metal blade, she aimed it towards Rukia.
"It isn't only you Shinigami that can fight with swords, you know?"
"Perhaps, but I'd wish to not fight at all."
Bambietta rolled her eyes.
"Did we not settle this already? Do you really think diplomacy is going to be your friend now?"
"I suppose not. But this anger, it seems that you hold it higher in regards than your friends do. I was curious, why that was? What is it about this anger inside of you that you're like this? What is the cause of it?"
Bambietta waved her sword around, and grinned.
"Do not try and analyze me." Bambietta twirled her sword around, then launched herself forward at rapid speed. "Come at me, Rukia Kuchiki!"
Rukia grimaced as Bambietta crosses the distance fairly quickly, then she comes at the young woman with her blade swinging around for her upper body, so Rukia crossed blades with her, sparks dancing between their swords.
Pushing her backwards, Rukia placed her finger out.
"Hado 4, Byakurai!"
Releasing a bolt of lightning from her fingertip, she shot it for the unassuming Bambietta, who snickered, and leapt out of the way, then she placed her hand towards Rukia, gathering an orb of Reishi.
"Nice lightning, now let me show you my explosive personality!"
Bambietta launches the sphere at Rukia, who in turn leaps away, seeing that nit connects with the ground, and soon after releases a huge explosion with the shockwave running through the entire area.
Rukia lands on the ground, only to widen her eyes when Bambietta appears behind her, her sword swinging towards her body.
Rukia dodges, barely, but receives a deep gash to her right cheek.
"Looks like you're bleeding. Next time, I'll make sure to explode it!"
Blood runs down her face, so Rukia wipes it off, and tries a different tactic.
"I see that you like quips, so I'll give you one as well. Lets try tying you up!"
Yellow energy gathers around her hands, and then she flings them forward, announcing "Bakudo 4, Hainawa!" releasing the yellow rope which shot for Bambietta, and wrapped around her form, binding her.
"Hmph, forget that I'm able to explode anything?"
Bambietta devilishly grins, activating her power that causes the rope binding her to erupt into an explosion, spreading smoke and dust everywhere, as Bambietta shoots through the smoke to attack Rukia.
But Rukia wasn't there, so Bambietta sensed for her, then looked up to see Rukia in the sky.
"Hado 33 Sokatsui!"
Releasing blue flame like energy for Bambietta, who laughed at the sight.
"This is your trump card?! A simple Kido spell?!"
Bambietta swings up her blade, and clashes with the attack, dispelling it with her superior power, along with sending a shockwave of her explosion that forced Rukia to go flying backwards, skidding across the ground.
Bambietta then smirked, seeing Rukia grit her teeth.
"What's wrong?"
Bambietta said with a sadistic glee, Rukia exhaled slowly.
"You didn't release that orb, yet you detonated that powerful explosion."
"Hmmm, looks like that isn't the only way I can use my powers Rukia Kuchiki. You shouldn't presume anything when it comes to your enemy."
Rukia narrowed her eyebrows.
"So you can even detonate explosions without those orbs? But why use those orbs exactly? Unless there's something about that...is it that you fire those orbs off for long range, and you can detonate short range?"
"Why would I tell you that~? Would be stupid to give the game away, I'll keep you guessing."
Bambietta giggled out, showing that she was a rather scary individual as she was not only hiding the truth, but she was having fun at seeing Rukia in confusion and in pain at the same time.
Rukia steeled herself, and looked down towards her body.
"I see, so I'll have to show my power as well. If I can't even get close without her bombs getting in the way...yes, I will have to use my sword to fight against her, maybe I could freeze her long enough to enact my plan..."
Understanding what was necessary, Rukia yelled "Dance! Sode no Shirayuki!" and when she did, her sword began to change as she tilted it all the way around.
It became a rather beautiful looking ice like blade, with a long white ribbon coming off from the end of the handle.
"That power..."
Bambietta paused when seeing that, as Rukia tightened her hand on her own blade.
"Bambietta Basterbine-san, please stop fighting or I will have to become serious."
Rukia was showing her resolve, something that made Bambietta laugh to herself.
"Nice, nice. A Shikai release. I warranted a Shikai release from you? Guess you take me seriously, Rukia Kuchiki. Though, is that a high honour? Because you're the mighty Rukia Kuchiki? I don't care if you're adopted into royalty, I will destroy you!"
Rukia lowers her head.
"Adoption into the Kuchiki clan didn't cause me to become all mighty like you said. Bambietta-san, your anger for Shinigami...what did we do to you to make you hate us this much? I now realize it is more than the past...what happened?"
Bambietta looked to be rather annoyed by Rukia's words. Though it wasn't Rukia's intentions at all, Bambietta took it in a different way to Rukia's intentions, therefore she growls, and aims her sword towards Rukia.
"Heh, speak all your trivial words all you want. I've got what I want in my life, and I'll show you the depths of my power!"
Understanding this, Rukia prepares for Bambietta who shoots closer and closer.
"Some no mai, Tsukishiro!"
Rukia calls out the name of the dance while holding her Zanpakutō upside down. The blade glows, and she makes a slashing motion when her target is in position.
When she does this, she draws a circle with the tip of Sode no Shirayuki.
The space within that circle and anything inside, freezes.
"...Ice, so your sword uses ice like this, seems like the data is right..."
Widening her eyes, Bambietta retreats from the area, and tries to get out of the range of the circle that was on the floor.
However, the circle not only freezes the ground, but everything within the circle's influence, including anything above it in the air, creating an extending pillar of ice which freezes all within the circle.
Nearing the exit, Bambietta feels the ice encroaching upon her, and causes some of her outfit to be caught by the ice, but Bambietta easily makes it out of the attack, and sees the giant pillar of ice between them, with Rukia standing fully ready on the other side of the pillar.
"Ice, ice, Shinigami."
Bambietta throws one of her orbs towards the pillar, causing it to detonate fully, sending chunks of ice to rain down to the ground. Along with that, Rukia saw that Bambietta did that without breaking a sweat as well.
Twisting her head, Bambietta pushed off the ground and came at Rukia with a various swings of her blade. Rukia grits her teeth, and tries to keep up, noting the fast way she was able to move, and also how Bambietta was dancing around her, and slashing from different angles.
"Haaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Bambietta leaps back, and forms an orb of Reishi, firing it off to try and connect with Rukia, who twirls her sword around elegantly, and then she turns her hand towards the Reishi.
The Reishi explodes, creating a cloud of smoke between them, Bambietta snickers.
"Well, looks like you weren't fast enough to be able to dodge me or my power."
Suddenly, as she boasted, Bambietta felt cold around her ankles.
She looked down, and saw ice growing across the ground, and then she saw a trail of ice heading for the area Rukia was, as the smoke cleared.
Moments later, Rukia became visible, bleeding, and yet had a determined look on her face, while she murmured "Juhaku." in a cold voice, that matched her ice, causing Bambietta to widen her eyes as the ice grew up her body.
"Shit!"
Bambietta saw that moments passed, and the ice was growing all the more. Knowing what she'd have to do, she activated her power all around her, and tried her best to not affect her own body with it, yet using the power to break the ice away.
It was difficult, but it worked, as Bambietta let off a massive explosion that sent Rukia flying backwards, the ice all shattering away with the power and the heat controlled by Bambietta's power.
Though she tried not hitting herself, she did end up damaging some of her body, and turned her eyes towards Rukia, gathering Reishi within her hands.
"Now you've pissed me off Elsa wannabe...I will show you how to let it go!"
Rukia grimaced, seeing Bambietta radiating a globe of energy around her being...
Suddenly, the pair heard "BALDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDYYYYYYYY!" coming from their right hand side, Bambietta cringed, as Hiyori shot from the sky a good distance away, and came down towards Bambietta.
Bambietta sighed as she stopped her power, and glared at Hiyori.
"I have told you, I have hair!"
"That isn't even what I mean!"
Hiyori snapped, landing before Bambietta, dismissing Rukia for a moment.
"What does that mean then?!"
As Hiyori yelled it, the others from their fights began coming over.
Sakuto saw Hiyori, and chuckled awkwardly.
"It means...ooh, I don't have to explain myself to someone like you."
"You're only saying that because you don't know what it means you crazy midget!"
Bambietta argued, Hiyori snarled.
"You wild hag! You wanna fight me?!"
"Gladly!"
Bambietta and Hiyori readied themselves to fight, when Sakuto flashed between them, and grabbed both of their sword wielding hands.
"Okay, that's enough."
Hiyori looked up towards Sakuto, and furrowed her brows.
But then her eyes widened in surprise.
"Holy shit..."
"Hiyori-san, been a while."
Hiyori laughed loudly.
"I'll say! Damn, look at you!"
Bambietta huffed.
"Haha, baldy."
Hiyori glared.
"Shut up, I'm not finished with you yet! And only I can call someone baldy, baldy!"
"Do not snap at me with your shark like mouth you Hollow cosplayer!" Hiyori gasped, as Bambietta grinned darkly. "I'm not finished with you either-"
"Yes you are." Liltotto interjected, going towards Bambietta and silenced her with a stare. "Look Bambietta, everyone. This isn't going to work out. Its been shown that the Shinigami are stronger than we are. So, I wish to call a truce with these people. We both are in the same town, and we both have ideas on how to fight Hollows. Plus, I'm also interested what was brought up before. You mentioned that there was a way for us to build bridges. What was that?"
Asking them directly, Liltotto wondered aloud, so Rukia explained, while Sakuto used his healing Kido to fix her wounds.
"My Vice Captain Sakuto, and Kurotsuchi-san have been working on ways for Quincy, to purify Hollows, like we Shinigami do."
Liltotto looked surprised, Bambietta huffed.
"Yeah right. Hows that going to work?"
"By using what we Shinigami have in our Zanpakuto, and give that power to your Quincy items."
Bambietta looked suspicious at what Nemu said, Giselle pushed herself forward, and played with her hair.
"Wow really? That's pretty awesome. How do you do that?"
"By mixing together the aspect of a Zanpakuto, and what your Quincy cross is made out of. If combining those together, then it could be possible to transfer that aspect to your arrows, and they'd purify the Hollows. It would actually go smoother if we have a Quincy to test these out."
At Sakuto's words, Candice thrusts her hand up.
"If it is a testing partner, and if there's anything that could be done together...and I mean anything handsome..." Candice winked at Sakuto. "...then let me know, and I'll come running."
Nemu raises a brow, and murmurs "This girl is very forward with her desires, perhaps I could learn from her." giving intrigued eyes while Sakuto offered a peace sign towards Candice.
"Well, that's a great offer. Thanks for the offer, it would be a great help~"
Candice fished out her number on a piece of paper, and passed it towards Sakuto with a sultry wink, to the ire of Giselle.
"Here you go, call anytime. Now we've got to go...if that's fine?"
Sakuto looked towards Rukia.
"She is in charge of the town. What do you think Rukia-chan?"
Rukia looked between them all, and then focused on Bambietta specifically, seeing her eyes looking hostile still.
"Yes, I'd not like to keep fighting. If we could work together..."
Bambietta clicked her tongue.
"Tch, never-"
"She doesn't speak for us." Liltotto voiced up her thoughts. "Do not worry, the majority of us are on board with what you're saying. I myself would like to know more about this technology of yours. If we can work together, it would be better than nonsense fighting."
Rukia bowed her head, as did Liltotto.
For now, it seemed that they had worked out their issues, though Rukia and Hiyori kept looking towards Bambietta, wondering deep down if she had herself taken to heart what was being said, or if she was waiting for her own time to strike.
Sakuto also looked towards all of the girls, his eyes lingering on Giselle for a few moments, before he showed a gentle smile.
Soon afterwards, the Quincy girls left, with Hiyori snarling, turning to Sakuto.
"Did you see that girl? Crazy Bambi there needed some sense smacked into her head!"
"Seems you two have quite the dynamic huh Hiyori-san?" Sakuto retorted. "Besides that, I believe that girl Liltotto-san, she seemed to be the most willing to find better solutions. Though I think its best to keep our eyes on Bambietta-san in particular. I don't think deep down, she is truly evil or anything, I sense pain each time I see her."
Rukia agrees with a nod of her head.
"Yes, I also sensed that she might if given the opportunity, still I wish to settle this without bloodshed, but she was quite strong...anyway, we should be heading back-"
"Sorry, I'm borrowing this guy for a bit. Gotta talk."
Hiyori said to the others, Sakuto looked and saw that she had serious eyes, so he nods his head.
"I'll be back soon, seems like there's stuff that need to be discussed."
Rukia nods, and takes off together with Nemu.
Sakuto then turned to Hiyori, and saw her giving a sly smile.
"So, what do you wanna talk about?"
"Gotta do with the idiots I am associated with. Come, I'll explain."
Sakuto tilted his head in wonder, and consented, following after Hiyori to see what was going on…
It was rather quiet between Hiyori and Sakuto as they made their way across the town of Karakura.
It was odd for Hiyori to stay as quiet as she was, Sakuto was wondering if she was thinking of what to say.
Suddenly, Hiyori came to a complete stop, and landed on top of a rooftop, overlooking a majority of Karakura due to them being so high up.
"Here's fine, I like the view."
Sakuto raised a brow at her surprising calm voice, though he was simply happy to see her again, so he sat down on the roofs edge, his eyes cast out over the beautiful landmarks that were around, and captivating his eyes.
"Its a nice place to look out over. Though even after all these years, you've stayed together. I am glad that in such an event, you were able to form a good group."
Hiyori perched over the edge along with Sakuto, her eyes dancing between the town below, and towards him as well.
"Might as well stay together, we're all in the same boat after all."
Hiyori folded her arms, while peering to the sky for a brief moment.
Then when she turned her head back down towards him, Sakuto saw her eyes displaying a curiousness that she had for a few things currently going on.
"So, you said you wanted to talk? Reminiscing about the old days or something? About Soul Society and how it has changed perhaps? Or maybe it is about the others?"
"Heh, I've not thought much about Shinigami for a while, I've abandoned that kind of life. Rules, regulations, it didn't help in the end at all. But yeah, I wanted to speak with you. Its as you said, about the others. But some of the others..."
"I understand, the incident that happened a 100 years ago, they of course would feel anger towards it, and considering the connections I have with their source of anger...its that, right?"
Hiyori clicked her tongue.
"Seems so. Not everyone of course feels like that, and not everyone is as aggressive about it as that idiot Kensei. But its as you said, so don't be shocked if one of them approaches you...ahem, Kensei, ahem..." Clearing her throat between saying Kensei's name, Sakuto understood. "Wasn't sure what to say when I saw you, so I am glad that you're still pretty easy to talk too."
"Haha, thanks~ So, still attacking Shinji-san with that sandal of yours?"
Sakuto said with a charismatic expression, causing Hiyori to show a strong happy face.
"You know it! Damn Shinji really does piss me off sometimes!" Hiyori grinned while showing a strong look on her face. "Can't believe how long its been. Tell me something, why did you come to this town anyway?"
"I have business in this town. Not all to do with you guys either, I met a girl here that...well, she is pretty important to me as well, and I wanna keep her safe."
Hiyori tilts her head curiously.
But then she smirks.
"Right, I see. So that is how it is huh? Well, that's a good reason too. Anyway, keep on your toes. Not saying they'd like attack you or anything...again Kensei maybe, but even then I think he'd want to speak with you first. So don't be too shocked if one or some try to approach you or anything."
"Got it, thanks for the warning. I'll be sure to make sure I'm prepared if they'd like to have any words with me or anything else they wish to do. Perhaps with time, they will come to see me as you do Hiyori-san."
Hiyori furrowed her brows.
"You don't seem so surprised that this could happen. As we talked, I never got the impression that you were surprised by what I was saying."
Sakuto shrugged his shoulders.
"They have valid negative feelings about what happened that night, and how it drastically changed their lives, so it doesn't shock me that at least some would look towards me, due to my connection with their source of pain. Though, when I look at you Hiyori-san, I'm trying to figure out what's going on inside of your head, and how you feel about all of this. Though I have some thoughts, I thought it would be best to ask you directly."
Hiyori gave what seemed to be a mix of a coy, and intrigued smile at the same time towards Sakuto.
"Well, it isn't that hard to figure out, right? I don't care what anyone else says, I know what's what and I know who to direct my anger towards. One of them is Shinji, not gonna lie he does piss me off-" Sakuto sweat dropped at that. "-and you aren't something that I need to direct my anger towards, unless you piss me off. So if you don't anger me, you will be fine." Sakuto gave amused eyes. "So yeah, that's it really. Don't got any other reason apart from that, I don't blame anyone else other than those that did this to me, and I know you didn't do this to me. You might be wicked smart, but I couldn't ever see you being evil to the extent to inflict this Hollow power onto us."
Sakuto gave a refreshing smile towards the young woman.
"Well, thank you very much for believing in me Hiyori-san~"
As Sakuto smiled towards her, Hiyori became slightly flustered, and shook her head side to side in a cute angry manner.
"D-Don't smile at me like that damn it!"
Sakuto tilts his head, while Hiyori stares upon him with slightly flushed cheeks.
"Like what?"
"L-Like you are! Its weird!"
Sakuto raised a brow.
"Its weird when I smile?"
"Extremely weird! It makes me feel...n-never you mind! S-So, shut up, and lets talk about other things damn it!"
Sakuto gave a bemused look to Hiyori, and pats her head, while she glares up at him, though the glare was more of a playful one rather than one that looked as if she was about to attack him or anything of that nature, to Sakuto it was nice to catch up with someone he hadn't managed to see for a good long time...

So this chapter had the Quincy girls facing off against the Shinigami, revealing most of their abilities, besides Giselle of course. Also we had Hiyori showing a bit about how she feels regarding a few different people. After the battle, it seems most of the Quincy seem to be settling in with the Shinigami, realizing they aren't all that bad, as for Bambietta, we shall see what she is going to be feeling after the fight pretty soon. And, at the end, Hiyori and Sakuto managed to have a moment to catch up with one another.
