Sorry, About not posting this last week I got distracted. BW12

I nod Frank gives me a look of concern. I ignore him and close my eyes; I take a deep breath and focus. A Pegasus was flying on the left, and each person's fear was the same except for Frank's it had raised a little bit, in concern for me. Instead of going outward I went up toward the deck. I could sense a hawk just above us but no people. So I went outward again since no one was there. I tried to go farther than the room but that's when I hit the boundaries I really didn't want to but I did it I pushed just a few inches farther, the pain was less intense this time but it still hurt. Every part of my body burning but I inched forward another step. Nothing, I extended myself more, still nothing soon I had made it to the first bedroom. Still I felt no life or anything, my body felt like it had been dipped in acid but none the less I move myself forward. Before I knew it I was at the end of the hall but still no sign of them, the acid feeling was still there but I didn't pay it any mind this time I wouldn't stop until I had to. When my dad appeared next to me I might have jumped. "You are stubborn you know that?" He asked me amusement in his voice.

"Mother always told me that." The word mother hung in the air like a cloud of sorrow.

"On this one occasion I will forgive you, but just this once. I will not let you insult me again if you do your punishment will be worse than this one." He said "I will not let you continue the search for Jackson, otherwise I will get rid of your powers and leave you defenseless against the giants, am I clear." I nod ready to leave this cursed hall way before my flesh is burned away from the acid feeling. He vanishes and I let myself go back to the dining room where everyone was waiting. I blink against the sudden light, I was still sitting in the chair but I wanted to move or pace. Not at all excited about the news I was charged to give. I look up at everyone each waiting for news of their friends.

"Bad news," I say "My dad doesn't like Percy so he won't let me use my powers to find him."

Everyone's shoulders slumped except Franks who look relieved that I wasn't going to hurt myself more in trying to find them.

"Let's start a search." Jason said trying to take charge.

"I'll stay here," I said "in case they show up here."

Once everyone had left I tried to stand but my skin and muscles burned like I had really dipped them in acid. I sat back down and grabbed my hiking water bottle that I had filled with nectar. I took a small sip and put it back in my bag. I looked at the bracelet that was on my right wrist, I had gotten it from Ares almost three years ago. It was made of leather except for the sword that was made of bronze it came with a card that said 'I can't leave my granddaughter without a weapon.' I had worn it ever since. Just out of habit really.

I had been on the deck waiting to see if there would be a ransom note. When they had all came up including Percy and Annabeth. We landed a on the top of a beautiful hill in Atlanta, when Frank, Percy and the Coach had left, everyone decided that they were going to do combat training while they waited. Watching off to the side for a few minutes I learned quite a few things about everyone's fighting style. Annabeth looked like a seasoned fighter but since she used a dagger she had less reach when her opponent was using a sword she would have to parry or doge to not get hit. Leo I could tell hadn't had a lot of training his defense and techniques were terrible. Piper being a child of Aphrodite fought like a demon trying to prove that a girl could fight just as well as boys but she was new to this so she was slow and had terrible offence. Hazel using a carvery sword was slow and clumsy. Jason looked like a skilled fighter but he tended to favor his right side. All in all they looked like they could stand in a fight but they needed more practice.

"Could I have a turn?" I asked after Jason and Annabeth had finished their match.

"Sure, do you have a weapon?" Jason asked

"No," I said Leo handed me the sword that he had been using celestial bronze leather hilt light weight it didn't feel well balanced but I could work with it. "So, who am I going to start with?"

"I'll do it" Hazel said. I walked over to the middle of the deck Hazel followed suit. Hazel struck first I parried and jabbed at her left she blocked it. She swung at my left I side stepped and disarmed her. Neither girl was out of breath from that quick match I grabbed her sword and handed it to her.

"Who's next?" I asked Annabeth came up next. I waited for Annabeth to get ready when I was sure I swung at her waist she parried and lunged at my arm using the move that I came up with I spun around and using the flat edge of my blade slapped her dagger out of her hand which was still extended. It landed a few feet away with a clunk. Annabeth blinked in shock. I think that she wasn't expecting me to disarm her so quickly.

"Where did you learn that move?" she asked me after a minute.

"Made it up, Helps being the daughter of the fear god you're born with light feet." I say to the daughter of Athena giving some information but not all. I actually used some wind to make me go faster than a human could. I think Jason noticed, but I can wasn't worried. I could only use that move on people who are terrible sword fighters or use daggers.

"Who wants to go next?" Jason stepped up me being smart asked "Are we allowed to use our powers?" Jason nodded "Good this will be a fair fight then." I said Jason struck first aiming at my head I parried and lunged at his stomach he dodged and swung at my arm, I twisted using the wind again. I thrust my sword upward and a clang echoed Jason's sword was holding mine down but I wasn't worried. Using a burst of wind I launched myself upward flipping midair causing Jason to become unbalanced I landed spun around and disarmed him. Jason stared at the sword and then looked at me.

"How are you controlling the wind?" Jason asked finally

"Long story short, a group of homeschoolers including me, went on a tour of the weather station. While I was there a monster was attacked. It had cornered the weather man, I killed the monster and it turned out that the weather man was the god of all winds; he granted me the use of wind as a thank you." I said I picked up Jason's sword and handed it to him. He flipped it and it turned in to a coin. I turned to Piper and Leo "You are the only ones who haven't tried to beat me yet do you want to try?"

"I'll try." Piper said then she charged surprising everyone but me I had seen her body tense, so when she came upon me I side stepped and swung the flat of my blade at her heels pushing her forward. She stumbled; being nice I let her face me before I made a move. I lunged at her dagger arm she side steps and lunged at me again I parry. She pushed my sword at me the blade coming closer to me body I step back. I looked at her and saw determination on her face. I thrust my blade upward throwing Piper's blade upward, I don't know what surprised me more the fact that Piper still had a hold on the blade or that she was putting up a better fight than everyone else. I stepped back and charged her. Piper still being off balanced from my last strike just managed to parry my next one. She swung her dagger at my midsection and almost got me had I not stepped back. I lifted my sword and swung at Piper she parried I twisted my blade and her dagger landed on the floor with a sad little plunk. I let my blade fall to my side and I stuck out my hand to shake "You lasted longer than everyone else that's very impressive." I told her she shook my hand. I turn to Leo "You're the only one left do you want to try or not."

"I don't have a sword or dagger to use." He pointed out

I nod I was using his sword. That is a problem. The bracelet, the note, and Jason's sword something clicked in my head I looked at my wrist could it be… I walk over to Leo and hand him the sword.

"But what will you use?" He asked I didn't answer instead I looked closely at my bracelet on the end near the hilt there was a tiny notch I wonder I touched it and the sword on my bracelet started to grow the leather on my wrist wrapped around the hilt, when I blinked I was holding a three foot long bronze sword that fit my hand perfectly and was centered in my grip. "With this" I said to Leo who looked a little stunned. I was just as stunned, I had had this bracelet for almost three years and I now just discovered that it could turn into a sword. It was kind if unfair that I hadn't known this earlier, but I guess that it was standing right in front of my face. At this point I had defeated everyone on the ship except for Leo and the boys who were on the quest. "Ready?" I asked him he nodded then lunged. I side stepped it and swung my sword at his waist he parred then swung at my arm. I parried then jabbed at his left arm the one that wasn't holding the sword, and he dodged then swung at my waist again I parried and twisted my sword; his flew from his grip and clattered to the ground. I smiled, "You lasted longer than Hazel, but to be fair you had more time to watch my style than Hazel. If you want Hazel" I said turning to her. "You could try again; of course you don't have to." That last part wasn't meant as a challenge and I don't think that Hazel really wanted to, so we didn't have another match, in fact I was kind of tired.

"I might want a break I mean none of you were easy opponents. The only reason that I won was because I had training for sword fighting and I have a new fighting style."

"Who was your teacher?" Jason asked "I might want to take lessons."

I imagined Jason fighting Luke in the Arena in the Labyrinth, I had to hold back a snort it was that hilarious. Luke teaching Jason how to sword fight, that was priceless. "I doubt that you'd want to take lessons from him, especially since he was big supporter of Kronos."

"That wasn't a name," Annabeth stated I think she wanted to look him up on her tablet, or something.

"No it wasn't and I don't intend on telling you it."

"Why not?" Annabeth said

She just had to know couldn't turn down a chance of knowledge even if that knowledge would hurt in this case it would hurt A lot.

"Because I don't want to." and I added silently I really don't like the look of fear that crosses their faces when they hear Luke's name. Annabeth understood that part and maybe Percy but not any of the others. Luke wasn't bad he was just influenced by the wrong person that could happen to anyone. It happened to me when facing the master of time it was impossible to fight his words.

"Please." Annabeth said

I looked at her "A dragon's scar across his cheek. That's all I will say."

Annabeth stumbled she grabbed the railing. "You knew him?"

Everyone on the ship except us was confused, "Not really, it was after he," I rolled my hands "you know. For some reason he was interested in me," I shuddered "Kronos had a special liking for me I think he wanted me for something, but I used him instead of the other way around. He kept me in his inner circle so all I had to do was ask around to get a lot of juice and that sort of thing. Then I reported back to Hermes and who met me in the set location, there wasn't really a set person sometimes it would be Athena then it would be Hermes then Ares. You get the drift always changing never the same person. And I continued to do that until the ship exploded then I stayed with Poseidon for a while and helped with the war there and I learned quite a few things, even why the Lord of Time was interested in me." I touched the hilt of the sword and it turned back into a bracelet, around my wrist I twiddled with the leather. "When I fight with an army, I'm able to amplify my powers and cause chaos. I think that's what he wanted me for but after I use it I pass out for days or so I am told I really don't remember anything after I did it. All I remember was screaming and the enemy army falling back." I sat near my bag and grabbed my water bottle I gulped down the whole bottle and smiled "If I do another match I think that I might fall over." I changed the subject I really hated the memories of that place. That's when I felt it the little tug of my gut when someone I know is scared, I closed my eyes and focused. I saw flashes of an aquarium, sea serpents and other sea life that I knew from my time under the sea, and a giant fish tank that was slowly filling with water. I knew who's perspective I was seeing this from it was Percy. Of course it had to be water the one thing that the son of Poseidon had a semi fear of. I could tell them about the whole thing but I think that would freak them out and cause them to worry right now I don't think that the boys in the group needed help if however they were trapped in anything but water them I might tell them, but having no such problem I just kept it to myself. Everyone in the group drifted off and I stayed in the deck I shifted in to a cat and laid in the June sun I must have drifted off because the next thing I knew the Argo 2 was in the air and we were headed to somewhere. I shifted back into a human, stretched then grabbed my bag and went to find the rest of the crew.

Once learning about the adventures of the group of three I decided that my morning look bleak in comparison. Fighting a sea giant and god in an aquarium without destroying said aquarium was impressive. Then there was my morning that I spent sparring with the crew of the Argo 2 and winning mind you but still. I just managed to corner Percy before he left for where ever he was going. "We need to talk about what happened." I stated

"What the battle?" he said evasively

"You know full good in well that wasn't what I meant." I crossed my arms "Percy, I can tell when people are scared, I can tell when their heart rated increases, in one afternoon you did all of those things and I want to know why. Why were you afraid of the wat—"

He put his hand over my mouth effectively shutting me up. He removed it a few seconds later.

"Fine but could we do it some were no one will see us or hear us." He looked around as if nervous about being over heard it was entirely possible that he was making sure that he wasn't being over heard. "We can talk later right now I have to talk with the rest of the crew. How about after dinner?"

"Deal" I said satisfied I really wanted to know why the son of the sea god had hydro phobia and if at all possible cure him of that fear.

Hope that this ended well enough because I won't post a new chapter for the next 2 weeks. sorry BW12
