Anyway here is the next chapter I hope you all enjoy and please leave reviews I love reading them! Also just a heads up if anything is in Italics it means it's a text message.

Bo's POV

The next morning, I woke up with a huge smile on my face. I had spent the night dreaming about how it felt to kiss Lauren. I want to see her again so bad. I almost wish I had been able to convince her to let me go into her apartment but at the same time I doubt I could've controlled myself. I got out of bed and grabbed my favorite kimono and headed to the kitchen for some coffee. I knew Kenzi wouldn't be up yet as it was way too early for her. After I finished my coffee and got dressed, I headed out to my car. I have a few potential cases to go check into and then I would go to the Light Fae compound and see Lauren.

I decided to text her before I pulled away from the crack shack. Hope you slept well. I also hope it's okay that I stop by later today? I sent the text and then pulled away to go talk to a Dark Fae man who was attacked the other night by someone and wants me to find out who it was. I shot Kenzi a quick text to let her know where I had gone so she wouldn't freak when she woke up.

As soon as I got out of the meeting with the creepy Dark Fae man that wouldn't stop staring suggestively at me I ran to my car. I couldn't help but be excited at the prospect of some one on one time with Lauren. I drove a little faster than I probably should have to the Light Fae compound. I had stopped and got Lauren some coffee as she had mentioned that she liked coffee with milk in it so I figured she might like a little pick me up.

I walked into the compound only to meet Dyson and Hale walking out of the building. "Bo, hey what are you doing here? Are you looking for me?" Dyson looked very happy to see me. Hale smiled at me and rolled his eyes at Dyson. "No, I'm here to see Lauren," I told them and couldn't keep the grin off my face. I saw Dyson stiffen when I mentioned Lauren's name. "We had the same thought, we wanted her opinion on a case but were told by her staff that she is out for the foreseeable future," Hale said and sounded genuinely disappointed. I couldn't focus on anything he said other than that Lauren was going to be out for the foreseeable future.

"Why is Lauren out?" I asked and could tell I didn't sound happy. "The Ash, he wouldn't say where she was, just that we would have to make do without her." Hale told me as I could feel Dyson's eyes burning into me as he watched for my reaction. I reached into my pocket and pulled my phone out to see if Lauren had texted me back.

She hadn't. I frowned at my phone and felt anger building up.

Lachlan.

"Where is Lachlan?" I asked looking at the both of them. "Bo your eyes, do you need to feed?" Dyson stepped closer to me. He put his hand on my shoulder in what I assume was supposed to be a friendly gesture. I shook it off quickly and glared up at him. "Where is Lachlan?" I repeated and looked at Hale instead. "Um he should be in his office." Hale looked at me worriedly. "Thank you," I said and headed into the building.

I stormed up to Lachlan's office door and threw it open. He sat at his desk and smirked when he saw me come in. "Where is she?" I knew he would know exactly who I was asking about. "I don't think it's any of your business what I do with the things I own." He said offhandedly and I felt furious. "Where. Is. Laurem?" I snarled and felt my Succubus starting to come to the surface. Lachlan actually did look surprised that I was having such a reaction. "She disobeyed me. I cannot have a human disobey me. So she has to be punished." That was the wrong thing for him to say. My Succubus came out and I kicked his desk into him so it pushed him back and I advanced on him. "I will not repeat myself again. Where is Doctor Lauren Lewis?" I roared and yanked the desk out of my way. He stood up to lunge at me but my anger fuelled with the fact that my Succubus was just as angry, caused me to be able to grab him by the throat and slam him into a wall.

"Hurting t-the A-Ash is not g-going to be good for y-ou," Lachlan gasped out. I knew in the rational part of my brain that doing this was a bad idea. The other part of my brain though, wanted to make sure that Lauren was okay. I lessened the pressure on his neck, but I did not let go of him. "Don't make me repeat myself again," I told him coldly. "She's not hurt but she is being kept somewhere for the time being." He told me and I could tell if I let go of him he wouldn't hesitate to hurt me.

"I want to see her," I told him and tightened my grip on him. "You can see her, but she will not be leaving where she is at," he told me coolly. "That will be for me to decide," I hissed and was almost tempted to feed on him to make him weaker, but I restrained myself. He shook his head at this. "You need to learn that just because you want something does not mean you can get it." He didn't sound like he was going to change his mind.

"Take me to her," I demanded.

Lauren's POV

I walked back and forth in the small room I was in. I had spent a couple hours just sobbing uncontrollably on the floor but eventually pulled myself together. Eventually someone might come looking for me. Maybe. I knew who I wanted to come look for me.

Bo. She was going to come to the Light Fae compound today to meet with me so I could help work with her on her control. She was going to show up and I wouldn't be there. I really hoped that she would come looking for me. I sighed as I leaned against the wall. I was falling for her way faster than I ever have for anybody. If anyone else had pulled me into there lap in the middle of a club I would've jumped away and probably run too. But when Bo did it, I felt so many butterflies and it made my heart race that she wanted me that close.

I sat down next to the door so I could hear if anybody was around. I heard some people walk by but I knew that none of them would even stop if I called out to them. I heard Lachlan's voice telling whoever he was with to calm down. I rolled my eyes and closed them as I sat there and wondered who he was speaking with. I heard a familiar voice say something to him but it was muffled and I couldn't hear exactly what they said. I heard something in the lock on my door and I jumped to my feet and backed away from the door. It flew open and I squinted at the light pouring into the room.

Bo.

She came.

"Lauren!" She yelled and threw Lachlan hard into the wall and ran over to me. She threw her arms around me and pulled me against her. I instantly felt any worry melt away as soon as she touched me. "Are you alright?" She asked and pulled back enough to be able to look at me. I nodded and smiled at her. I heard Lachlan stand up and clear his throat. Bo's eyes flashed blue, and she turned her head to look at him. But she didn't step away from me or loosen her arms around me. "What?" Bo hissed and I summed up that she forced him to bring her to me. "I told you that you could see her but not that she would be leaving," Lachlan informed her and I felt like I wanted to just break but I wouldn't let him see that.

"You think I will leave here with her locked down here?" Bo spat at him, and she gripped my tighter. "Dr. Lewis knows her place. She knows that she will not be kept here forever. Just enough for her to learn not to disobey me." He sneered and glanced at me. His eyes went between the two of us and smirked. Bo turned to look at me and her eyes softened once they met mine. "Are you sure you're, okay?" Bo asked gently. "I am, I had a feeling I would be seeing you one way or another today," as soon as I said that she grinned. "I told you that you would." She stated and almost looked like she was going to lean in until she remembered that Lachlan was there.

"Let her leave and come and go again as she pleases," Bo told Lachlan without looking away from me. He shook his head. "Talk to your grandfather, he can explain a humans place in the Fae world," he told her firmly. I knew he wasn't just going to let me walk out of the room he had me locked in. I knew it as soon as I saw how he responded to Bo's demands. She let me go but only to stand in front of me so that he couldn't look at me. "I will not leave her here," she told him firmly.

Lachlan smirked at her. "Don't tell me… you actually have feelings for a human?" He looked down at her and I saw pity in his eyes. I felt his eyes on me and I looked down not wanting to meet his eyes. "She knows she isn't enough for a Succubus let alone the Blood Kings granddaughter," he said simply and I felt like he had kicked me in the stomach. I know I would never be enough for Bo. But that didn't mean I liked hearing it from him. Her eyes flashed blue again and she stepped closer to him.
