This is the Time

"We've stopped both the Land Titan and the Ice Titan, got Nari back, and even managed to tame Skrel. But Belrok and the Fire Titan are still on their way."

"I know. And it won't be long before they make landfall."

"If our calculations are correct," Seamus said as Krel wandered in from the throne room.

"And they usually are," Krel picked up, "Belrok will reach the California coast between Los Angeles and San Diego. Hopefully on one of the beaches with less of a population."

"We could try using Tronos' laser cannon," Aja offered, "If it can destroy two giant asteroids it should be able to stop the Titan."

"But we don't want to destroy Belrok or their titan." Claire reminded her.

"And blowing it up won't work," Angor explained, "When we tried on the Ice Titan Skrel was able to rebuild it in mere minutes."

"What about the Magic Cannon?"

They turned to Toby.

"It worked when we were in New York. We just need a way to make sure that it stays on the Titan and on Belrok if they move."

Walt stroked his chin in thought.

"What if we mounted it on the air skiff?" Douxie offered, "Have one person to fly the skiff and another to aim the cannon."

Walt nodded, "That could work…With Nari and Skrel manning their titans…I want as few people on the actual ground as possible. Lava can do a lot more damage than the others. Especially on a beach…"

"I can fly Douxie while Dad flys Merlin."

"I don't have the strength to be a hitter and I'm out of artifacts so I'll man the cannon," Elizabeth proclaimed.

"It would only be a simple spell to make everyone else hover just a bit above the nearest surface. That would protect them from most of the lava."

Walt grinned, "Alright then. Barbara and Claire, you two bring the Ice and Earth Titans to the beach. I want you to flank them and do what you can to keep Belrok from actually hitting them. Archie, you try to get Douxie as close to Belrok as possible since you're fire won't do much. Otto, you're with me on the aerial team again. Lenora, you're with Nari. Lend her your powers. Seamus, go with Skrel. Your fur should protect you from the ice and you can take some of Elizabeth's water artifacts to help him recharge if need be. Draal and Steve, you're on the…shit. I can't have the two of you alone on the ground though…"

"So send Onkel Arrrgh and I," Toby offered, "The four of us can go from the ground and climb the Titan with the spell."

"No. I want you to stay in Avalon in case we don't make it back."

The room went silent.

"If we don't come back…Galahad's book said that he and Mary were to care for Avalon until my return…I want YOU and her to do it now. Until my heir, at the moment that will be Antonia, comes of age…Mum, Angor, Merlin, and Charlie should be able to help you. Mum will stay here in the healing hall with Mary and Eli. Young Atlas, I want you, Nomura, and the remaining Knights to distract Belrok if they get this far. And get the Heartstone away by any means necessary. Destroy it, portal it, whisk it away to Akoridian 5 if you have to but DO NOT let Belrok get it."

They nodded and took a step back. Walt nodded firmly and liked his lips.

"Archie, Douxie, and Otto. I want you three to join Draal and Steve on the ground team. Toby was right about using a spell to climb the titan. Climb it and attack wherever you can reach like ants in their pants. That leaves Elizabeth and Krel to take the air skiff. Liza will man the cannon like planned and Krel will pilot the skiff."

The room was eerily quiet when he finished. Walt sighed.

"We should head out soon. The sooner we get there, the more damage control we can do and the better the advantage we'll have over Belroc."

They all nodded again. Otto and Lenora latched onto Toby. Douxie and Archie took a moment to say goodbye to their dads. Arrrgh pulled Seamus into a bone crushing hug, burying his nose in the werewolf's fur. Nari squeezed Skrel's hand as he looked down at his sleeping guardian. Morgana and Angor squeezed Claire between them before pulling Steve over to spell his armor against lava and fire. Darcy wormed her way into the Scaarbach hug to hug Toby and warn him not to die. Aja was reluctant to let go of her 'little brother'. Jim lunged forward and hugged his parents tight. Walt wrapped his wings around his wife and son. When Jim let go, Walt went over and hugged Morgana.

"Tell him, Mum." He whispered in her ear. "If I come back and you haven't, I will tell him."

She chuckled. "I will. I will. Just be sure you come back. And bring the others with you!"

"I will."

Elizabeth dug in her bag and handed Seamus a collection of stones and charms. Then she grabbed Krel by the arm and dragged him in the direction of the air skiff. Walt nodded and gathered the rest of his team once more. Claire took Nari and Lenora and portaled to the Land Titan. Barbara took Skrel and Seamus and created a portal to the Ice Titan. Walt nodded to those staying behind in the castle and Angor created a portal for the last of them.

The beach was already deserted by the time they arrived. Though, that may have been due to the massive Lava Titan making their way closer.

"Otto, Douxie, Steve, go make sure that those houses there are empty." Walt ordered.

They sprinted off. Two portals opened above them before the Earth Titan and the Ice Titan dropped through.

"I say we strike while they're still in the water,' Claire offered, looking out at the fast approaching titan.

"Agreed," Walt looked back at the vacation houses lining the beach, "As soon as the others get back from checking on the civilians."

Barbara nodded and flew off to fill in Lenora, Nari, Seamus, and Skrel. The air skiff whisked over their heads in the direction of the Lava Titan.

"The houses are empty."

"Good. Douxie, cast the spell and we'll all head out."

The younger wizard simply nodded and raised his staff. Each member of the team glowed dark blue for a moment before they lifted a foot off the ground. Walt nodded and led the charge over the water. Ahead of them, Elizabeth fired the cannon and the Magma Titan slumped. Both the Ice and Earth titans surged ahead of even Walt to reach their sibling. Belrok stumbled as the wave of water their siblings generated hit them. Only seconds later, the rest of the team hit them.

Walt flew up, past Nari and Skrel, and surpassed the rest of the team by a long shot. He crested over the helm of the Lava Titan and landed behind Belrok.

"Belrok! Stop this!"

The wizard snarled and struck out with their staff. Walt parried the blow.

"Your siblings are here, Blerok! Do you really want to fight them?"

They bat him away like a ball of paper.

"I will not! You won't make me turn away like you did them!" They threw Walt away and parried another blow, "They knew what we were working for, why we were doing this! You turned them away from me!"

Walt grunted as the staff struck him in the chest. Douxie's spell may have stopped Belrok from actually hitting him but the force still threw him across the head of the titan. He forced himself back up and dived at Belrok. The blue glow of the cannon shorted out and the titan powered back up. Belrok parried his strike before doubling over. A gurgling growl pierced the air before they lashed out at the other titans again. The ground shuttered.

"Walt!" Barbara shouted as she appeared over them, "Nari's hit! Her titan's on fire and she's being forced to retreat!"

Walt swore under his breath and lunged back at Belrok. They ducked out of his reach.

"You hurt Nari, Belrok! You're supposed to be the elder sibling! The older sibling takes care of thi-"

"Do you think I WANT to hurt them!?" Belrok tossed him across the helm again, "I do not! We worked together before. They wanted this, too. Then Merlin and Arthur got to her."

They growled and slapped at their legs and belly. The titan shook as it's hands hit its body. Walt took the opportunity to slash at Belrok, striking them across their second eyes.

Elizabeth scrambled to repair the cannon. The Land Titan was still on fire as it sank into the ocean. Even after Lenora and Barbara had taken Nari back to the castle.

"Hurry up!" Krel shifted his grip on the serator, "They are getting their BUTTS handed to them out there!"

"What does it look like I'm doing!"

The air filled with a cloud of steam and a scream of pain. Belrok had lashed out once more and struck Skrel. The Ice Titan had grabbed their sibling's hand in an attempt to push away and reared back again. Elizabeth stumbled back from the railing of the skiff and fell back hard. Both her and Krel heard something crack. She had landed on her bag.

She rolled over and flung open the bag. A glowing green gem lifted out of the cyrosphere. She looked down at the broken Akoridian gem from the cannon. Same size.

"Whatever you're going to do, do it faster!" Krel shouted, "Clare and Seamus are pulling Skrel! We're running out of time!"

Elizabeth shoved the crystal into the cannon and grabbed an amplifying stone from her bag. She crushed the stone between her teeth and scrambled to her feet.

"Walt! Get down!"

She started the cannon and aimed at the helm of the Lava Titan. She watched the Ice Titan crumbled into the water before she noticed that the Lava Titan had begun to crumble as well.

"Everyone get off the titan!"

Walt flew from the helm, Otto and Archie flew away from the body of the Titan. Draal threw Steve at Otto before rolling back down to the surface of the water. Barbara and Claire portaled to Draal's side and everyone gathered together as the Titan sank under the waves.

"Krel, take us down."

He nodded and she turned off the cannon. When they reached the others on the Walt turned to face her, cape in his arms.

"Liza? What did you do?"

She swallowed thickly, "The-The Ice Titan hit the skiff and the cannon fell over. The crystal broke and I was trying to fix it when Belrok hit Skrel again. The Cryosphere broke and a green gem came out. It was the right size and I didn't know what else to do so I put it in the cannon and turned it on. I-I figured that it would either do nothing or it would stop time."

Otto put a hand on her shoulder and pulled her close. Walt looked down at his cape.

"Well…It didn't STOP time…It looks more like it TURNED BACK time."

Unfolding the cape, he showed them all the infant in his arms. Their dark red hair was sticking close to their lava rock grey face. Their glowing red eyes were clouded over even as they tried to look around.

"Oh, god…" Elizabeth pailed, "Did I…Is that…"

"Belrok. The cannon's beam turned them into an infant."

The rest of the team stared at the child. Walt shook his head.

"We will figure out what to do about this later. Maybe Nari and Skrel will know where to find their guardian and we can talk to them. (1) For now, we need to do the clean up. Liza, Krel, and Claire, take the cannon and go back to Hong Kong. If it can do this, hopefully it can rebuild the damage Belrok caused there, too. Hell, maybe we'll be very, very lucky and the cryosphere really CAN bring back the trolls that fell in the trollmarket there. Barbara, take Otto and Lenora and try to fix some of the damage Nari did in Brazil before they got to the more unpopulated areas. Skrel's path is the least of our worries at the moment since they went through mostly unpopulated mountain ranges and harsh winter regions. I'm going to go back to the castle and pull what changeling strings I can to cover up three massive titans carving their way through the western hemisphere. Archie, Douxie, Draal, and Steve, you'll come with me. Everyone else, come back to the castle as soon as everything is finished and we'll go from there. I'm sure everyone's going to want proof that everyone is ok."

He wait for nods and words of agreement before shifting his hold on Belrok and making his way back to Arcadia Oaks, Avalon, and the rest of the family.
