After dinner, Emily decided to check in with her siblings on what they thought about Aaron. Derek was could with him as long as he treated Emily right, Spencer didn't seem to have a preference either way, saying that he would like to analyze Aaron first before making an assessment. The two people that worried Emily the most were her sisters. Penelope was very quiet about it, while Jennifer was more vocal about it.

"What is he doing here?" Jennifer wondered, her arms crossed.

Emily hummed, "Well, he's...Jay, you know how you and Pen were in foster care because your home environment wasn't safe for kids?"

Jennifer nodded, "Yeah."

"Well Aaron's home, his dad isn't like our Papà. His dad hits him. He's just staying with us periodically until he gets custody of his brother."

"Are you and Aaron going to get married?"

Penelope's eyes widened, "Married? Are you gonna move out?"

"I don't know yet, Jay." Emily replied, before taking a breath and then turning to Penelope, "You know, Monkey, even if Aaron and I do get married we'll probably just live in Papà's guest house. I'm not getting married, and I'm not moving out anytime soon."

"Okay." Both Jennifer and Penelope said at the same time.

Emily nodded, "So, other than that, what do you thing of Aaron?"

Jennifer shrugged, "I don't know him yet."

"What about you, Monkey?"

"He seems nice." Penelope admitted, speaking softly.

Emily gave a small smile, "Okay."

Meanwhile in the guest bedroom with Aaron and his brother Sean. Aaron was finishing up the last of his economics homework, while Sean was reading a book in bed. He had already gotten ready for bed, now he was just doing his reading homework. He always did that right before bed.

"Aaron?" Sean called

"Yes, buddy?"

"How long are we going to stay here for?"

Aaron let out a breath, "Um...just a couple weeks. Then we have to go back home for a little bit, but we'll be back."

"Good." Sean replied, "Cause I like it here. Much better than when we're at home with Daddy."

"Me too." Aaron added

"I wish we could stay here all the time." Sean admitted

Aaron smiled, "So...what do you think of Emily?"

Sean nodded, "I like her. She's nice."

"That's good, because I'm thinking of marrying her someday. Do you think that would be alright with you."

"Yeah." Sean uttered, "She's cool."

Aaron gave a little chuckle, "Well, okay."
