Pekoe walked slowly through the hospital corridors, a jumble of emotions and thoughts clouded her mind. She was happy Darjeeling would be ok, but fearful of what was to come.

She turned a corner, then quickly ducked back behind it, carefully peeking around she saw Kay arguing with a woman with blonde hair. Leaning over her, her suits sleeves rolled up almost as if ready to fight. The blond woman was in a blue blazer, and had a tall cap with BC stenciled on it. Calmly she was eating a small piece of cheesecake.

"You said she was gone" Kay challenged her. "Marie, i asked you repeatedly, and you said she was gone, vamoosh, out of the picture"

"I say a lot of things" Marie returned between bites.

"She trusted me, and I trusted you" Kay pointed in her face.

"It's rude to point" Marie scowled at her. "My intelligence was correct at the time, but circumstances can change"

"What's marie doing here?" Pekoe thought to herself.

"Do not fail me again, deal with this situation" Kay barked, smacking the cake from maries hand.

Marie shot a look of disgust at Kay, before muttering "Fine, but you owe me".

Kay turned and marched away and Marie went the other.

Pekoe turned and ran after Kay, grabbing her arm when she caught up.

"Do you mind telling me what that was about" Pekoe scowled at Kay.

Kay's face went white as a sheet as she turned slowly to Pekoe. She coughed slightly, "State secrets..."

"Did you do something to Rukuriri?" Pekoe shouted, pushing Kay against the wall and pinning her there.

"Of course not!" Kay stammered, panic gripped her voice.

Pekoe pulled out a small box, "Do you know what this is?"

Kay looked confused at her.

"It's a emergency transponder" Pekoe said raising it up, "All I have to do is press this button right here" she moved her finger over a small red button "It's given to Commonwealth ministers, and the moment its pressed, an entire security team will come storming in, all within 30 seconds" Pekoe smiled.

Kay struggled beneath Pekoes elbow, trying to get out.

"Now tell me WHAT DID YOU DO?" Pekoe shouted.

"OK, OK" Kay pleaded "But your not gonna like it..." Kay sighed... "It all happened that day, the day of the finale"

"WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON HERE" A voice exclaimed.

Both Pekoe and Kay turned to see the figures of Darjeeling and Assam standing there, Darjeeling in a hospital robe, holding an IV tower, and Assam supporting her arm, two armed security officers stood behind.

"I think we need to have a talk you two" Darjeeling barked, "And don't think i didn't hear that" she glared at Kay.

"Arrest them" Assam shouted pointing her free hand at them.

Fear gripped Kays eyes as the two security officers slowly approached, their hands hovering over their holsters, before they reached them and cuffed her and then Pekoe, before leading them behind Darjeeling.
