"Alright Summer, now that we are properly introduced. Next question" Scorch asked whist watching Summer intensely. "Now what are your intention with these new resistances?"
"Well we just want equality, i do at least since Grass Type are quite weak all thing considered. That's my goal is to allow for a more equal society. Wait... HOW DID YOU GET ME SAY ALL THAT!?" Summer asks whist trying to jumps at Scorch who is unfazed by the attempt.
Summer soon settles downs and starts hyper ventilating. Scorch who knows this is all fake tell her to...
"I know your faking it, now next question, How come you never attacked the city directly?"
"Umm... I'm not actually too sure. We've always just been told that the city is too heavily guarded to ever attack but after waking up here, its hardly guarded."
Scorch puts two and two together and finds out their leader are just using them and wont come for them if they killed or released and if they return they'll probably be killed anyway due to leaking information. Scorch who at the current moment doesn't want this thinks about a way to bypass both of these outcomes. Just as he starts thinking, everyone can hear a scream from nearby.
"THATS ZORO, WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HIM" Summer yells as the screams from her companion are heard throughout the entire facility.
"I wasn't aware of this" Scorch replies as he looks back at the partner he's been assigned with to make sure Summer doesn't lie. His partner also seems confused by the screams and just shrugs their shoulders.
"I am sorry about your partner but i assure you nothing like that will happen to you. Your my victim now not theirs."
Feeling somewhat relieved about that, Summer decides to cooperate more.
"This'll be the last question for today, you joined to make Grass Types stronger but what if you became the best type? What would you do then?"
"What ill do is make everyone else feel how we've been treated, Fire types... Flying Types... Steel Types... EVERYONE. I've suffered enough..."
"Quick question, I'm aware the last was supposed to be the last but you chose to be a Grass Type, Why?"
"..."
Scorch takes this as a personal subject and is thinking about saving it for another day until...
"I was forced to be a Leafeon..."
Scorch interested in the story sits Infront of her"
"My parents weren't fond of my friends who chose the other eeveelutions as they all chose the type they wanted... I wanted to be a Slvyeon but due to a lack of love and my parents forcing me to forget any fairy moves, i couldn't become the eeveelution i wanted. Soon enough i was banned going out the house entirely and i couldn't take it anymore and decided to rebel... Soon after my rebellion they kept bringing more leaf stones into my room to make me become a Leafeon and just to escape all the pain and torture i endured... I touched one and became this freak of nature i am now. My parents were happy i finally followed their dream but instead i killed them both since they gave me this strength... I soon roamed around the forest for months with nothing to do until i found the Grass Types where they promised to make me strong."
"I'm sorry for all of that happening but you'll stay here tonight and ill see if i can get you released as soon as possible, you can travel with me"
"You'd do that for me?"
"Of course, i cant let someone go through something oh so familiar"
Scorch is walking down a hallway thinking of his past and how he had a similar experience. He decides to ignore this as the job he has is more important then anything around here. He soon reaches the guild's front of house where the adventurers are supportive of him for taking down the rest of the Grass Types. He takes a seat at an empty table and a few pokemon come over to introduce themselves to him since he has become so popular. Scorch identifies them as a Ninetales the kantoan version, A Houndoom and a Tangrowth.
"So your the infamous Flareon who took down three of those grass types?" Said the Ninetales with a little bit of excitement.
Scorch who's unsure what they want acts as he normally would...
"Yea so what? Here to congratulate me again? Many have already beat you to it"
"Watch your mouth" Snarled the Houndooom who obviously wasn't as fond of him as his Fox buddy. "She's just a fan of yours and this is how you treat her?"
"Blaze its fine, he probably isn't used to having fans." Snaps the Ninetales at her own friend
Such a weird group of companions this is and Scorch thinks similar. However he noticed that their other bud wasn't very talkative and soon gets a bit suspicious of them but decides not to ask as it could seem he just has a hatred for Grass Types.
"So why do you want an autograph?"
"CAN I ACTUALLY?!" Exclaims the Ninetales with a huge smiles , "Oh right, I'm called Yako and id love to know everything about you"
Scorch and Blaze look at each other confused at her trust in Scorch. Scorch soon thinks about how he could use the help in his own personal mission however this thought is removed from his head when he remembers this is a town primarily for water types and soon starts wondering what a sun team is doing here.
"I just thought, what is a sun team doing in a rain/water based town?"
Yako replies to this "Well when we heard that someone has finally helped and taken down three of those Grass Types, i had to see them and Cand Volcano has a similar issue but with Rock Types. We were already out until it happened and we couldn't return since so we came here instead"
So the two cities have the same issue, maybe just maybe, if he helps them both they could help him in his goal in the future. Still unsure of what to do next, he goes to the desk with the sun party behind him and asks...
"Hey Starmie is there anything to do?"
"Oh just call me Shard and yes i do infact have something for you. Since you've given hope to everyone that these Grass Types can be beaten, everyone wants to go with you to their main base of operations."
"And how do you know where it is?"
"That Sceptile gave away a few details"
"So it was the Sceptile..." Though Scorch as the three behind him look shocked that he even caught some of the Grass Types. However he decides to ask...
"How do we plan on invading?"
"Oh well im glad you asked, since we have some of their members they'll probably want them back am i right? And th-"
"You are wrong, they don't care" interrupts Scorch
"I am?"
"Very much so, they are seen as pawns from what the Leafeon told me. They have been told they will be given what they want if they work for them however they haven't achieved that. Instead its making a Gang that will soon invade the city"
"You got that much? wow i thought you couldn't impress us any more then you already have but i seen to have been mistaken"
"Ill like to talk with the Leafeon first though"
"You know where they are"
Scorch starts to go to Summer's chamber and tells the trio to wait for him at the table and then goes inside her chamber. When he's in the back of the he notices some blood on the floor. Unsure of what to do, he presses forward and eventually finds out that the Sceptile escaped since a door was missing and it was the door containing the Sceptile. He moves forward trying to make as little noise as possible and thinks about the safety of everyone in the guild at this current moment but eventually reaches Summer's room and goes inside whist shutting the door. He looks at Summer who still has her chains and collar on staring back at him confused.
"May i know why your here again, but this time more cautious?" says the confused Leafeon
Scorch stays silent and looks around the room incase the Sceptile made it inside the room which confused Summer more then she already was. Suddenly he was attacked by a Leaf Blade however he manages to dodge in time as Zoro comes out from the shadows. Both stare at each other whist Summer sees all the cuts and bruises on Zoro's body wondering what happened to him. Scorch notices the chains on his legs and arms and a collar similar to Summers.
"Zoro i know you want to escape and go back to your den or wherever but i must tell you..."
"I DONT CARE ABOUT THAT, YOU PEOPLE ARE FREAKS FOR WHAT YOU DO!" Replies the Sceptile who is preparing a Leaf Blade
"We've fought before and i won, this'll just end the same way as it did before"
"Just don't do it please Zoro..." Says the desperate Leafeon hoping a previous partner will listen to her. "He isnt like the others, look at me"
Zoro looks at Summer and sees no cuts or bruises but only the chains. Zoro however doesn't take any chances and jumps at Scorch. Scorch who predicted this jumps back. Zoro takes this time to set up a swords dance and his attack has been raised by 2 stages. Scorch shoots a Fire Blast at him however he dodges and slashes Scorch who goes into a wall. He quickly gets up and ducks another Leaf Blade. Zoro then back away and uses double team making a bunch of clones of himself. Scorch fully recovers from the impact sees twenty clones of Zoro all surrounding him and he keeps shooting Fire Blasts at each of them until there is one left however that took a lot of his energy and Zoro reveals himself not even being in the circle.
"Look, you could be nice like Summer said but i dont trust anyone here. Your all just freaks for even being here still" Zoro brings his tail to Scorch's head. "This'll be painless since you've gain the trust of a partner of mine"
Just before he shoots his tail, a leaf hits him on his head and he sees an injured Summer who bashed her own feet to slip out the chains. Zoro runs over to her to see if she's okay but she pushes him away, limping towards Scorch to check if he's okay. This act makes Zoro leave as the area. The Liligant soon shows up and leaves just as quick. Summer however stays by Scorch's side.
"Why are you staying here? You can leave..." Says the exhausted Flareon
"Your the first one I've told my personal story to... i couldn't let you just die here, also your helping me become a better person." Summer smiles through the pain. "And I'm sure you'll probably find a way to save me here as well."
Scorch turns around and sees half of the guild battle ready for hearing the commotion and with everyone seeing Scorch's condition, they believe Summer did it but is quickly discarded as an option due to her bashed up feet. The guild go to the closest pokecenter for both Scorch and Summer and soon both fall unconscious due to the extreme pain.
