Summer PoV
After a few days of being in this stupid cast, i will finally be able to move freely again. Id love to go on adventures with Scorch who has recently been coming back injured a lot. He claims that he fought off some of the Rock Types near Cand Volcano and everyone there agreed as Kaleigh said. Kaleigh also offered to wheel me to the pokemon center to which i agreed to as she is the only one who realistically can. Cinnamon joins us on our journey to the pokemon center and of course other injured pokemon are there which all have either way worse injuries then me such as missing limbs or way better injuries such as a cold. Soon enough its our turn to go to the back room and as we do, i notice a Chansey, a Blissey and Comfey all preparing for something. The Comfey lifts me onto a bed whist Kaleigh is escorted out of the room and the Blissey and Chansey remove the cast and the smell of the unwashed leg fills the room. They however prepared for this when Comfey starts to absorb the bad smell and periodically goes outside to release it into nature. This process continues until its all finished and they help me stand up since i haven't stood up after a while. Kaleigh walks in and takes me from the lovely pink blobs and we all say our goodbyes.
We return to the house and i want to show Scorch that I've healed however once i enter his room he's nowhere to be found. I panic slightly as he could've been kidnapped but soon calm down when i remember he has the skills to survive on his own. Kaleigh and Cinnamon also find out about this and Cinnamon cries as she wants her papa and Kaleigh just hopes he comes back okay. We go downstairs to the oddly empty living room and have dinner as we hope he returns as he always does. I wait an hour, another, three more. Kaleigh recommends i get some sleep as ive still got some recovering to do but i deny the idea and stay on the couch waiting for Scorch. Cinnamon wants to join me in waiting for Scorch but both me and Kaleigh suggest she goes sleep and he may appear to her in the morning. I wait and look out the window and the moon is out and i determine the time is somewhere around 1 Am now. I kept waiting throughout the night but soon even i drift away into the void known as sleep.
Next morning i jolt up looking around. He isn't here yet... Maybe upstairs? I run upstairs and check every single room along the way and eventually its Kaleigh's room last and i open the door and see only Kaleigh sleeping soundly in her bed. He didn't come back yet. Thoughts start to cloud my mind. Maybe he's in danger. Maybe he got caught in the wrong group. Maybe... No... Scorch is smart and non of those things would happen. I go downstairs to the kitchen and make food for the others whist waiting for Scorch. I think about why i do care so much about him when he doesn't really do much for us but keeps us safe however at that moment i realize Im in love with him
