Opening: Afraid to shoot strangers from Sabaton / Iron Maiden.

Hey guys. I am sorry that I took a while, but things got hectic. So yeah. There is that.

I had some things to do in the last months so that's why some fics who got demand took my mind off things.

But because some fics get their anniversary, I decided to write more. I have been thinking about this fic, I promise you but it's just that some bits went our earlier.

I didn't get many votes but that doesn't really matter for me. I have a good idea that a no for Sylvia. She will fight along and all other stuff but with this, I avoid the squicky bits of her getting the action.

Reason I asked is also that when I get her in, I have to open the door to Joel and Anaton. And that is something I just don't want to do.

Also, guys, guess where the name comes from. I saw the song/cover last Sunday. I had one awesome place in Antwerp. Good concert but last time, I'm ever going with my bud.

Four years on this site, it has been one great ride and we will have more to come.

Started 24/11/2019

One thing I forgot to add are the VA of Mattheus and Joel.

Mattheus: Alexei Raymar (lead singer of Desert, underground metal band from Israel)

Joel: Emily Neves (Found her voice as one of the girls in Hensuki. It is not too far from what I imagine Joel's voice to be)

Mattheus sat down with some lines next to his body. Joel had been working on his brother ever since Brigit. That woman gave them some issues. She was out of danger sure, but she had been comatose ever since things went crashing down.

They had requested a room where Joel could look up the stuff that was going on.

She was alive. That was one thing. When would she wake up? Good question.

Mattheus had no answer for that. There was also no caring on his part. That girl had put him through enough shit.

Joel had been staring at the screen and was sure that whatever was going on, Mattheus reacted well to the Nanites. It was clear that the program was working well to his body and that the Hunter's Faith was made with Lavathenian in mind.

The boy had been working on the Ghost Program. It could make Mattheus invisible for about everything in the world. Nothing would be able to pick him up. A Ghost so to speak.

Ghost in Tokyo instead of the Trenches. That was for later.

"Looks like you're okay, brother," Joel said as the tests went well. Mattheus could make healing and patch others up. That was clear. It was defensive and it suited Mattheus just fine. But there was more to that program and Joel wasn't sure if he could do more on that part.

He removed also the Ghost Rifle that Mattheus had used during the last attack as it wasn't largely ineffective. Chasseur was more powerful and despite the stealth use of the rifle, it didn't really work that well.

Joel didn't mind it as it was what a designer did. It could fail but that wasn't his biggest issue. He had been working on a few new weapons and one of them was a larger model. But that was for later.

Mattheus took his shirt back on and closed his sweater. Kneeling down, Mattheus took the boy in his back. The two just walked out.

The news had been taken well; the Hunter liked to think.

The members of Amaterasu weren't that conflicted about Mattheus and his new status, simply given that they didn't know what it all really meant. It was something from Mattheus home and so far, it didn't involve them too much.

For the Infinite Stratos pilots, they have been giving him the cold shoulder and Mattheus would be lying if he said it didn't bother him.

Despite it all, the girls were around him and he had begun to see them as some younger friends. But now, he had lost that trust.

Well, trust. Mattheus just made his choice. Last time proved that he required more power and what he said was true.

None of them knew what it really meant to look after another human being.

Chifuyu and Reiri did. They had sacrificed quite a bit for their brothers and so far, that was his choice to go all over this.

Natasha had been distant from him and had required her own room. Groaning, Mattheus wondered what he lost in this.

He saved Brigit, a girl he didn't even know and at what end?

Losing everything he had so far.

Not noticing where he was going, he bumped into another human being. Looking up, he saw Kizuna on the ground.

"Sorry, Mattheus. I didn't know where I was going." The Hunter smiled at him. Kizuna at least treated him as a normal human.

"Don't worry about it. That goes for me as well." He offered his captain a hand and pulled him up. "So, something on your mind?"

"Yes. And Mattheus, do you mind if I ask your advice?"

"You want to ask me for advice? You do realize that it is not healthy to do so?" With a serious face, the Hunter shut up. No time for jokes.

"It is important. So, do you mind listening to me?" Mattheus waved his hand. "Sorry about that. So, what's up?"

"Can we talk this elsewhere?" The walk was in silence, neither boys had something to say and Joel knew when he had to shut up.

"What's bothering you?" The older guy asked as he leaned at the window and Kizuna took the opposite side.

"There has been a new pilot decided," Kizuna answered and Joel shut up as he knew who it was.

Mattheus feigned surprise on his face as he heard that news.

"Really now? Who?" He asked in a tone that was good. He kinda felt sick of acting like this.

"Sylvia Silkcut," Kizuna said and on his face, there was some despair on that part. "I can, no have to. Choose who will join Amaterasu. My sister thinks that it is right for me."

Mattheus wondered what went wrong last time as his sister decided to let Mattheus and Ichika in before they had a say in it. Then again, they were no girls and didn't have a Heart Hybrid Gear.

"I can see why you'd be distressed by that. But Kizuna, wouldn't your sister be a better person to talk about this?" Joel asked and the boy had slid off the back of Mattheus and stood next to the older man. Kizuna shook his head.

And then looked to the roof, the Eros pilot sighed.

"Yeah but I think, Mattheus, you're the better option. My sister told me to make a choice. And I want to talk on the whole matter."

"You need to vent," Mattheus answered on the underlying question. "I think I can see it. You don't want that girl to face danger. And you come to me because you see me as a person who has that sort of thing with Joel."

The boy looked to Kizuna and sighed.

"If you were in a position where you had to put Joel in danger, would you do that?" The jaw of Mattheus hardened.

"Kizuna, me and Joel have a different relationship then you and Sylvia do. That is one. And I'll let Joel do the talk." The punk walked to Kizuna and crossed his arms.

"The difference between me and Sylvia is that we aren't in the same spot. She can pilot her own machine. I don't have that power. I'm not the guy you give a machine. I work on those machines. I'm more useful for hanging back and letting you play the hero." Kizuna kneeled down to see the face of the boy.

"But you have fought as well, right?" That was a question.

"Indeed. But still, where exactly lies your problem? The fact that you'd put Sylvia in a position in danger or you put yourself in the position that well, is kinda, how do you say this, dangerous?" Kizuna gulped.

"You'll have to go and do Heart Hybrid on her." Kizuna sighed as he forgot about that. Mattheus raised an eyebrow on that. Of course, he had forgotten that Kizuna would have to go and work on Sylvia to keep her energy up.

"Mattheus. Would you do that?" The Hunter cocked his head to the left with a question on his face.

"Would I do what? Kizuna, I don't do that sort of thing. Last time I checked. I was with Natasha on that. Plus, like Joel said. He doesn't have that power. The biggest thing is if Sylvia wants to pilot that machine. Put her the stakes down. Tell her that yes, she can do it as her dream, but it is dangerous. Joel has been around me on the frontlines but more of a matter of how shit went down."

Mattheus told the Eros Pilot and he took Joel back next to him. Kizuna took back up and his face was a mix of wonder.

"For example, there were some things that I had Joel with me. But not like this. When he was around, he was constantly with me. But Kizuna, the relationship me and Joel have is not like the one you have with Sylvia. For her, you're an idol, an image to follow. For me, Joel and I are brothers. And you don't know what that is."

Kizuna grit his teeth on the remark. "I am a brother."

"Of a sister. That is not as a brother. Second of all, it is not about that. It is about things here. We have to take Tokyo back and there is no telling what your mom got in store for us. So, take a shot and make it count. If I look at it, Sylvia wants to fight. Tell her the risks and what it all contains." With a shrug, Mattheus took Joel in his back and walked away.

Turning to Kizuna, he looked at him.

"Believe me one thing. Both Joel as Sylvia might be kids. They might be four or six or ten years younger than us. But they can handle this."

With that, Kizuna had food for thought and Mattheus was now with his hands in his pockets. There was not much more to do.

Natasha and the girls were training now with Ichika. They wanted to spend more time with him before they hit Tokyo next week.

The two boys were left out and Mattheus really began to think he didn't do a good job.

His wallowing was brought down when he got a call. Reiri Hida's face was shown in his face.

"Gotta get used to that." He muttered.

"What's up, teach?" Reiri's mouth clenched on it.

"Adjzof, I need you in my room. Come immediately." The Hunter sighed. Looking over to Joel, the punk wondered about something.

"What might she need?" Joel voiced his thoughts and Mattheus knew it wouldn't be good.

"Nothing good." The Hunter walked to the room and he walked in the place. Kei was still working on her computer and Reiri stood next to it.

The principal had her arms crossed.

"Adjzof. I have a question." The Hunter sat down, and he took Joel in his lap. "If this is about Sylvia, then I gave Kizuna my two cents."

The woman looked a bit shocked. "You did?"

"Well, Kizuna came to ask me for advice. I told him that. Is this about that?" Mattheus said without caring too much about the consequences.

"Why would Kizuna do that? It doesn't concern you." Reiri asked and the guy mulled over the thoughts.

"Kizuna is a guy. Guy asks advice to guys. Especially given the fact that I and Kizuna have been fighting for a while but it ain't about that, now is it?" Mattheus answered.

"No, it isn't. I hope you told Kizuna something he can use." With her fingers over his face, Mattheus was, once again, convinced that Reiri and Chifuyu were each other's counterpart.

"I think so. Told him that he had to give the full story to Sylvia but if it is not about that. I suppose my next superpower?"

"No. It is not about that. The Nanites is a thing that you and Pearce will have to deal with. It is about the mention of Gravel. Yellow Flower." Joel gulped as he felt his brother tense.

"What about it?" The Hunter's attitude changed drastically. No longer cool as a cucumber but more like he was pissed.

"Adjzof, I need information about this. So, tell me about it. I have the right to know." Mattheus glared at her and Reiri wasn't sure if that was with Chifuyu the same.

"You have the right to shut the fuck up." Kei stood up and typed in the keyboard.

[You don't talk to the principal like that. You will have to apologize.]

The guy looked at her and flipped her the bird.

"Eh, no. She is asking about things he doesn't have to tell. You could ask Chifuyu Orimura about this." Joel answered and Reiri looked at him.

"I don't think that the children should talk about this sort of thing." Joel's face began to grow ugly.

"Really now? You think that you're the mature and the adult. Really? I saw the face he made when Gravel asked about it." Shifting an eye to Mattheus, Joel hoped he could keep his brother down.

Same with him as he hoped Mattheus could keep him down.

"You didn't, I suppose." Mattheus pushed a hand on him. Joel shut up as he knew Mattheus wasn't going to let him argue.

"He is right. You could have asked Chifuyu about this. She knows. But because you are stupid, you don't. The Yellow Flower was the previous name of my Infinite Stratos. And the pilot was Adjzof Freya. My little sister. She is dead."

Reiri crossed her arms and wanted more information.

"When did she die?"

"Four years ago. Terrorist attack. Back home. Lot of shit went down. It happened at my place."

Reiri raised an eyebrow. "So, you're saying that you don't know what Gravel was talking about."

"If I did, wouldn't I tell? My sister is dead and gone. That is all. And you might be smart at some things. But as Joel said, could have asked others." And with that, Mattheus stood up. Reiri didn't stop him.

She knew that she pushed it.

"I'm impressed," an aloof voice spoke, and she turned to Chifuyu Orimura. The Brunhilde crossed her arms and looked at the two.

"You told me this would happen. I just wanted to see it. So, either way, he doesn't know about what Gravel told him." Chifuyu had seen it coming and she wasn't sure about it.

Mattheus had healed with Ichika and the girls around him. He was stronger than her in that regard.

If Ichika died, she would have wanted to die. He was the singular reason she walked the globe.

"So, what now?" Chifuyu sighed. She hated this part.

"The training goes well on the girls. But Hida, I implore you. Wait one more week. By then, I assure those girls are ready."

She had seen them grown phenomenally during the last few months. Ichika also joined in every so often and they had learned quite a good bit. Those girls were not near her but combined, they would give Chifuyu an awful lot of problems.

"We cannot wait. We have to strike now." Reiri answered. And that was where the problem existed. Chifuyu wanted to get those girls along. Besides them, Gertrude was the only one down. She was wounded last time by the fight. Brigit was also but she was in a coma.

So, they had a good force to strike. But Chifuyu was sure that if the Infinite Stratos girls joined in, they would have a far better chance.

They had always come way too close to the fight and it was due Kizuna pulling the solution out of his ass (or someone else's) that they could get out the mess alive.

So, for this, Chifuyu's instincts told her that things would go sideways very bad. So yeah, there was that.

"That is all, Orimura. We need some fighters here. Your team will be protecting Ataraxia. I do hope it will be enough." Chifuyu sighed and walked out of the room.

She had forgotten how it felt that she wasn't as strong as the others. In their own world, Chifuyu was the top warrior, revered and feared. But now, she was the lowest. She had no power left, she hadn't pilot Kurazakura ever since.

And she wasn't going to pilot it now.

She hadn't talked about the White Death that was Mattheus's superweapon. If she did, she might get Mattheus mad. And despite it all, they needed Joel here.

Besides Maya, there was no one else Chifuyu trusted.

Cursing in her mind, she was lost. The Brunhilde had no clue how she could make things right. She wished that Kerlongsj Orlejov was around. Now more than ever.

He really could get things to go better. With a mind of mechalony, she wondered about how it would go.

She had taken Mattheus revelation as Hacker better than the other girls and Ichika. But even so, a part of her was hurt by the blatant reaction he had on the fact that they fucked up.

She wondered how the others would be doing.

Ichika had been training for hours, his mindset on the fact that he had to grow.

He was now laying down on the ground with his breath that had run dry. Ichika missed hanging out with his girls and for now, they had some time off now and in the back of their mind, the uncomfortable truth played this could be one of the last times that they could spend time together.

The girls were all around him, all smiles and stuff while they looked at him. "You're okay, Ichika?" Charlotte asked and the boy nodded.

"I'm fine. Just well. Happily, exhausted." Unlike their Knight, his girls had been fighting well and good, but they hadn't taken a piece.

"You really can keep up with us all? Looks like you have been training well, Ichika-kun?" Tatenashi teased him as he got pulled up, in a sitting pose.

"You can say that. I just wanted to clear my head." The girls all took a spot next to him. In a circle, they were now all seated next to Ichika.

"Mattheus and his job, right?" Houki asked. With a nod, Ichika looked up.

"I just don't know how to see him yet."

"Maybe you could talk with me about that." They turned to see Mattheus with his arms crossed and a frown on his face.

The girls looked back at him. After all, they weren't sure how to see the Hacker / Pilot.

He was still the same older guy who has been through the same in the most regard.

"I am not one to talk behind other's back about stuff but maybe. You could talk with me about this." Jumping down on the training ground, Joel followed suit.

Getting to a crawling position, he faced Ichika.

"So, what is it? The fact I work for Kerlongsj Orlejov. The fact I became a Hacker. So what? I chose a side. Like you did." Ichika could glare at him all he wanted.

"You chose to work for the Hackers? Why? Wasn't there something different?" Mattheus sat down and smiled.

"Who? The Japanese government? Like that is good for my health. Ichika, we are or better said, were the most sought-after thing. We." Mattheus raised the bracelet of Byakushiki and showing the rings of Lavathenian "can pilot a machine that was ten years only for women. Do you know what that means? You should know that by now."

Ichika nodded.

"Countries would go to war for us. I mean. We are things that they can go after." Mattheus shared the notion.

"Yep. And you've seen the shape of this world. Can you say that ours wouldn't like this one?" Looking at the faces of Houki, Rin, Cecilia, Charlotte, Laura, Kanzashi and Tatenashi, Mattheus had one wry smile.

"Can any of you see what this world has become? This world is on the brink of extinction of the human race. This is what the world powers would do for us." Ichika sighed.

"And you have any idea how it would be to work for them? We'd be living an entire serving them. You know how that would work with me and Joel." Ichika had seen it. Mattheus would pull out a gun and jam it down a bastard's throat.

He had seen it happening to his sister more than once and he'd do the same. President of the United States or China, the Empress of Japan or the Queen of England.

You pissed Mattheus off, he was going to piss on your shoes.

"Yeah. Not great." Ichika said and Mattheus sat down next to them.

Pulling Joel in his lap, the girls looked at him while Mattheus acted protectively.

"Also, I have Joel. Ichika, he is not just a nobody. The son of an IS pilot and engineer, built my Infinite Stratos, made the whole thing. I have gotten more than once the request if they could keep him."

The grins on the faces made clear that Mattheus wasn't joking.

"Right," Laura answered.

"Look, I don't expect you all to forget this but know my reasons. Besides, not that much has changed. In our own world, things would have been problematic, but I don't think we have to worry about that."

His notion made it clear they were still stuck here. Besides Gertrude who got wounded in action and Brigit who was out but still alive, they would keep watch as second force while Amaterasu and what was left of the masters would go and take back Tokyo.

"You don't say," Charlotte answered and Mattheus snorted while the entire group couldn't help but laugh on the joke. In the end, they all laughed together like friends.

When they calmed down, Joel was the one who broke the silence.

"Either way, we have a party now before we go back. I say we best enjoy ourselves until the fight."

Wondering what Joel meant with that until a lightbulb went off above their heads.

Before they would leave, there was going to be one huge party. They would see performances of idols and the like. That would indeed be fun.

It would be something to enjoy now. "I think you all want to get cleaned up before we go around on the festival grounds. And separate" Mattheus told the group who lit up like a Christmas tree. He took his own spot and sat waiting. The smell of hormones was around, and it enhanced his senses.

It might have been weeks before he had an outlet for his lust. His own testosterone levels had been in his body and he could use something to distract him. Just great. He wasn't sure if he really wanted to see how the drama would play out.

Joel sat next to him. They could check out the place later with the rest around.

A disturbance came up at this pocket as the Hunter checked his phone. It looked like Kizuna had talked with Sylvia about the dangers involved. She was ready to go at it.

"So ready for the big party?" Mattheus looked up to see his, well, what was she now?

"I am not sure. It feels weird. Also, because I am not sure if this will go well. It will be one fucked up ride. I know that." Natasha Fairs smiled at him while she sat down in front of Mattheus. "You don't have to worry. When you're done kicking those asses, you will come back. But for now. Joel. Can you be a dear and tell Ichika that he has to stay a bit longer in the shower?"

Joel nodded while he was a bit surprised at what Natasha wanted from Mattheus. The Hunter looked a bit surprised by the actions of the Gospel pilot.

"You sure you want to do it here? I mean. I am not really clean now." The glare shut Mattheus up. "If you don't let me this, you will have a lot to make up for. Besides, after the festival, we are going to have a lot of fun. But now, I need to shut your fucking mouth and let me have this."

Unzipping the pants of Mattheus, Natasha smirked as she saw the dick of Mattheus. "Someone is eager." She smiled as she stroked the organ. Mattheus gritted his teeth while he could feel how good Natasha had become with her hands. She enjoyed teasing Mattheus in this.

He would give her payback. That was for damn sure but now, he just sat back while his girlfriend took care of something important.

"You really like this." Mattheus didn't speak as he could feel his own lust building up while she slowly stroked his penis.

"Oh, damn. I missed this feeling. Hard and nice." Taking off her blouse, Mattheus smiled while she decided to get naked a bit.

Gulping, he could see her tits coming out the shirt and the white bra. Oh, damn. So, this is what she had in mind. Not that he minded it while she slowly continued.

Mattheus' hips bucked as he could feel her tits wrapping around them. He gritted his teeth as Natasha moved her tits up and down on his dick. She knew that he preferred taking it easy and slow. For him, rushing this wasn't nice.

A side effect was that he could last way longer while he was like that. Mattheus groaned and laid his head back while Natasha moved up and down, enjoying how her man felt between her tits.

"Damn, you like tits. That is for sure." She laughed as she continued. Using a bit more, Mattheus could feel how she enjoyed doing this. He didn't want to speak while she moved her tits up and down. A bit of saliva hit him as lubrication.

Grunting as Mattheus would never call it moaning, marked Mattheus was nearing his peak. Taking over, he squeezed the soft tits. One look made clear that now was enough.

After a few rough strokes, Natasha could feel how her boyfriend unloaded at her tits.

Sighing back, Mattheus enjoyed the ride. "This felt nice." He said as he took out his handkerchief. Wiping the ooze on her tits, Natasha made herself proper again. It was short but they couldn't take all day.

"So tonight again?" The woman took his lap and Mattheus looked at her.

"Stop with this thing. I don't blame you for choosing a side. You did what you had to do. Thanks to that choice. People are alive. And this mood isn't great for a party. With that, Mattheus nodded and he kissed his girlfriend.

"And we were told not to take too long." Keeping Natasha in his lap, Mattheus glared at the Infinite Stratos group. They had all gathered around them and had the same smirk on their faces.

Flipping the bird, Mattheus was sure that he was never going to live this one down.

In the AU.

One particular pretty female sat down while she looked things over. It was clear that the war was coming. She didn't care about the whole thing.

For her, war was a part she took in and despite it all, she was disgusted by the actions of Zelshione. But she knew she had to fight. That was for sure.

Gravel hadn't crumbled but the display on the streets made the woman's skin crawl. But for now, she was focused on the display.

She hadn't been sure as she heard the name. Mattheus.

Mattheus Adjzof. She wasn't sure if she heard the name correctly or if Gravel was mistaken. It was just something that the woman couldn't ignore.

She had seen Mattheus die years ago. 'Kleine broer.' She thought on the face of the boy that worshipped her.

Even so, she made it clear, she wanted to see this Mattheus. She didn't know how he got his hands on a machine or where he had learned how to fight.

She sighed and laid herself down. Sleep was now needed for tomorrow. If it was true, she would see her brother. In some way or form.

She just hoped it would be him. In that dream, she felt like she was flying through the sky.

She heard a voice speaking.

Have you ever felt the future is the past? She wasn't sure if she heard it correctly

She could be mistaken. In her mind, she was walking around, and she couldn't find anything. It was dark. Black and white, devoid of colors.

Suddenly, she felt a presence. It was a house. It was familiar but she couldn't think back at it.

"Think I have heard your voice before. Think I've said words before." This time, it was for sure. The house was like the outside. There were no colors.

Turning to the voice, she saw a man sitting down. The woman blinked while she looked at the man. Despite the fact she had only black and white, it was sure. This guy was familiar. She wasn't sure why.

"Are you." She lacked her voice. "Are you Mattheus?" The guy walked up to her. He had a hoodie on, and she looked down. That guy was wearing some sweaters. Even so, she wasn't sure. The guy was too old to be Mattheus.

Haar kleine broer couldn't be that. He was small and he didn't reach her.

"The dream is true. I'll be seeing you very soon."

"I take that as a yes."

In her sleep, she smiled. She was living. And for the first in years, she was happy.

The festival was going in full swing. And the Infinite Stratos girls had gotten a lot of attention. Several students of the West USA float had taken a serious interest in the girls. Mattheus was happy that Natasha had staked her claim. And he wasn't letting her go. The girls visited places and they were also sure that the idol stuff wasn't going to be that much fun.

"Hey, Ichika." Turning to Charlotte, the Knight smiled. They were all dressed up in kimono, but the guys had opted to take easier clothing. Not that they minded the whole thing.

"Yes, Char."

"Would you like us to be like idols?" Some fliers had been going around on Amaterasu who would perform as an idol group.

Once again, Mattheus questioned the thinking of those in charge. They'd have an invasion in just a few days and even so, they had to do this.

Not that he would watch it. Mattheus had tried and succeeded in converting the Infinite Stratos group to at least give the heavy metal a chance.

Ichika thought about it. "I wouldn't like it." The girls glared at him. "Not that I don't want to see you in such cute outfits, but I wouldn't like the idea of other guys looking at you all like that." That blush was a giveaway.

Ichika was sure of that. He didn't want other guys to look at his girls like that.

"Protective streak?" Mattheus teased his younger brother while the Knight smirked. "Like you're any different."

"True." The girls saw Kizuna looking around the place. "Hey, Kizuna." The Eros pilot had his head on a swivel when he saw the two males. The girls stood back while the two walked.

"Still, not okay with him?" Joel asked while he was taken on the hip of Natasha. "Not really. And we will avoid being dragged in the madness." Rin answered and the girls all nodded.

"This just reeks of danger," Cecila admitted while the chat went on.

"Hey, guys." The Eros Pilot greeted them.

"Something up? Looking for someone?" Ichika asked his counterpart.

"Yep, I'm looking for Aine. By the way, Mattheus. Thanks for the tips. I have told Sylvia about it." The two weren't going to hear it.

"Kizuna, I don't want to know what you did to her," Ichika said panicked. Laura might have looked small, but she was mature in her age.

"Neither do I," Mattheus admitted. He had enough with Joel around.

"I told her the risks and the stuff. She is willing to do it and it worked out." They didn't want details and Kizuna didn't give them.

Sylvia knew the score and Mattheus admitted. That girl might have been one cute puppy, but she had a lot of heart.

"By the time we have the invasion, we can blast them to pieces. There is something else though."

The two waited for a bit. "Aine is missing and for the performance, they need someone. Been looking all over the place. But can't find her." They looked up the group who was waiting.

"Sorry but there are others who require my services." Ichika looked back at them and at Kizuna. This time, he would make a choice for his girls. Mattheus was right about to join until he motioned Joel to come over.

"You need me?" The boy asked.

"Yeah, I'm looking for Aine. Pearce, you can track her down for me." Kizuna asked and the punk sighed.

"This was supposed to be fun. Let's see." Joel took out his phone and began to look it over.

"Damn. Looks like I won't be able to track her down. There is something blocking the signal. So far, I have no clue where she is. Do you want me to look for her as well?" Joel asked and the guy nodded.

"Yeah, it would be a real help. But can you at least have an idea what to do besides that?" Kizuna wondered.

"Maybe ask for a stand-in. Isn't Sylvia also a part of that group?" Kizuna nodded on that.

"Well, maybe we can get her in." The two shared one look. That could be fun. Meanwhile, Mattheus and Natasha spent time together. The smiles they had so far, it was just fun. To hang out and talk about stuff.

"So, you go to the idol watching?" The snort of her boyfriend made her laugh.

"Yeah, right. We can do more fun stuff when they are playing." She could feel his hand around her waist.

"Do you only think about that?" Natasha asked in a teasing matter and Mattheus kissed her before he grinned at her. "With you around. You betcha." The two kissed back and Mattheus wouldn't trade this for anything. Even Joel now understood that he had to leave those two.

They made themselves untraceable for a while as she dragged him along. Meanwhile, the Infinite Stratos girls also hung out and had their fun. Ichika was just having fun. Joel also called in Sylvia and took her along to the show.

The girl put up her brave face and she would perform as well. Joel went to look around as he couldn't find his older brother and he didn't blame his big sister for taking him along for some fun.

Luckily, Ichika picked him up and while he wasn't that big a fan of the idol group, he still had respect for the girls.

They didn't walk up to the big stage but sat underneath the tree some miles away. They used their bodies and just sat around to make themselves comfortable. Ichika hoped that Joel was okay with just sitting around the place.

He also messaged Kizuna where Aine hung out. Signal finally came through. In the school, she was in an empty classroom. He wished the Eros Pilot luck and just enjoyed the show. For how he could.

In that classroom, Kizuna found the girl. Standing there alone in the moonlight, Kizuna found his silverette. "Aine. I've been looking for you."

She turned to Kizuna. She wasn't sure what she could say.

"Kizuna." So that is what she told him. The look in her eyes was something he hadn't seen before.

"There is something in my head. Each time we do a Heart Hybrid, my memories of some of them come back." She avoided his look.

"You told me about that before. So, what is wrong with that?" Kizuna asked the girl and looked out the window.

"I don't think they're memories. I have been looking over the database for what I saw when we do it together." Kizuna wasn't sure about that sentence.

"I don't think they exist anywhere on earth." The Eros pilot looked over her and saw the girl looking down.

"It's like they're from another world." The guy walked over her and put his arms around her body from behind.

"You mean like the world where Ichika and Mattheus came from?" The girl shook her head. "No. Not like where those guys came from. But that doesn't matter." She broke away from his grasp.

"I just don't want to remember anymore. I don't want to Heart Hybrid anymore. I had enough. I am done." Kizuna sighed and looked at her.

"Your count is getting low. And we are going to need all we can get. Tokyo is going to be one rough ride as Mattheus would put it."

Even with that, the girl looked vulnerable. She wasn't the normal girl that was confident that he had seen.

The girl looked away. "I am scared. I don't want to remember strange things. I am done with that." Kizuna wasn't sure about this. He wanted some advice but now. He just stood by Aine.

"I feel like that I am no longer the same." Kizuna offered a hand and the look in his eyes. Aine couldn't help but trust him.

"Don't worry. I know that you won't change. You will still be Aine. I am sure of that. It doesn't matter what your past is. I know this. I am not going to change our minds." Taking the hand, she enjoyed the warmth of it as it surrounded her.

"You are one of us. You always will be. To me, you will always be Chidorigafuchi Aine. No one else. It is not just me. We also got Yurishia, Himekawa, Sylvia, Ichika and Mattheus." The warmth of his hand was touching her, and the guy pulled her closer.

"Aine…" The hug was a bit awkward but before long, Kizuna felt Aine returning it.

They stayed like that just a bit of time. In the hug, they were warm. They were safe. Nothing mattered. And Kizuna had one thing in mind.

His hands went off and the buttons of her shirt came off. The girl blushed and looked away. No matter how many times he would see Aine naked, Kizuna would always be mesmerized by her beauty.

The pink bra strained against the chest and Kizuna's hands went to them. Softly, he squeezed the soft flesh. The soft moans came out and Kizuna had grown used to this as he quickly unclipped the bra.

Her breasts showed and Aine covered them. Kizuna had a soft smile.

"Please don't."

"But I'm embarrassed." Even with that, his hands went to her and when he moved those around, he noticed her breathing.

"Does this feel good?" The guy had to admit that he could be a real bully. Biting her lip, Aine moved closer to him

"Do you really have to ask?" Squeezing her right nipple, she moaned a bit more. "Ah, no. Kizuna. You already know the answer."

Kizuna moved down to her shirt and the panty she was wearing had the same pink color of her bra. His fingers had never really touched the place directly but of course, Kizuna knew that it was sensitive.

She moaned more as Kizuna went from her soft and flat stomach to her lower body. Aine's felt more pleasure building up. Her head went up as Kizuna softly sucked at the tits. He couldn't get enough of those.

Her eyes closed and Kizuna continued. In the light sparkles, Kizuna was sure of one thing.

The woman in front of him. She was one goddess. He was sure of that. But just as her climax neared, she began to remember something.

A pink pillar was standing. Towering too high for one to see. Then she saw faces. It was dark and she wasn't sure, but they were all women. Pretty as well. Then she saw the silhouette of a woman. With wings coming from behind her.

But that was enough for Aine. When she came back to her senses, her scream made Kizuna jump. She pushed him back and covered her head with her arms.

Her breathing was erratic and struggling. Kizuna found that she was scared in her looks. But the question that played on his head was this.

What was she afraid of? That was the question.

And outside, the concert of Amaterasu came to an ending. Ichika looked at the scene and Mattheus had joined the group.

"Right on time. Good thing that I missed this." Ichika fist-bumped Mattheus and Joel was taken back over by the Hunter.

"You missed something good. In any case, I think it is time we hit the sack." The Infinite Stratos group agreed. They were tired. But then, screens popped, and they all knew what was going on.

"Oh, just great." Cecilia groaned into a very unladylike fashion.

"You gotta make more luck Mattheus. We are really running out." Natasha took over Joel from Mattheus.

"Thanks for this. We'll see you all later." The two boys took off and Joel was sure this wasn't going to be fun.

Kizuna got the message from his sister. Behind Reiri, Chifuyu stood with her arms crossed. "Kizuna. An enemy fleet has appeared. It has come from the Kanto Area of Japan. You all need to get in the sky."

The night had fallen and Amaterasu plus the master's raced over the sea. Mattheus had become tired but now, he couldn't worry about that.

"If we want to take Tokyo back, we'll have to fight them eventually," Kizuna told the group.

"Yeah but I would have liked it if it's on our terms." Mattheus gave his five cents. They could see the entire thing from there.

"Kizuna. I suggest we avoid it from there. We split up and try to make it into Tokyo." Ichika asked his captain.

"Smart thinking. Mattheus, I have a request." The Hunter raised an eyebrow.

"Can you try to sneak in via your ghost mode?" Mattheus thought about it for a few seconds. "I should be able to. Why?"

"Can you disable one of the ships by sneaking in? If you get in, can Joel destroy it from there?"

The group looked at Mattheus and the Hunter scratched his cheek. "Joel. Did you hear the man?"

"Loud and clear. I think I can. And if I can't, your Nanites can. But Kizuna, that isn't going to work just like this. What you need to do, is this. When he takes down one of those ships, use the distraction to sneak in."

The group nodded on that.

"Spread around. That is the best action. Mattheus, time to play a Ghost in Tokyo." The Hunter smirked as he activated the Ghost camo. Joel wasn't sure if it would work as planned. If things always did, where would the fucking fun of shit be?

The punk looked at Gertrude. He admitted one thing. That girl had guts. Nodding at her, she was going to be one help at this.

Back in the AU.

The woman had seen Nayuta leave. Why was this country so stupid? Never trust a traitor. And she was also caged to watching Gravel. Cursing in her mind, the woman loathed Zelshione.

If that bitch would come into contact with Mattheus and he would be there, she was damn sure that the guy would give her one tough fight.

"So, what is the reason?" She looked at Gravel. She had a soft spot for the woman. She had defied the Empress and, in some regard, had the same defiance which wasn't carried by most. She hadn't been broken.

The girl could only wonder if it would last.

"What reason?"

"Why are you so deadset on having that Mattheus? Enough for you to threaten Zelshione?" The woman smiled at her.

"You don't understand. I don't suppose you can. The only thing is that if Zelshione meets him, he will give her the asskicking of her life." The tone she used was proud.

"So, you love him? That's it. He is your lover from there." The disgust was able to read from her face.

"Not my lover. My brother."

"What is that?" Gravel asked. The chains were still on her body and the woman softened as she walked to her. Zelshione had ordered not to give any water but what she didn't know, didn't hurt.

"Where I come from, you aren't born like this. You are born out of the union of a man. Which is what you see as the other species. The other is the woman. And if you are born out of the same man and the same woman, that person is your sibling. You are linked together for the rest of your life. You are siblings. There is nothing like it. As an older sibling, it is your duty to care for your younger sibling if your parents can."

Gravel looked at her. "So that Mattheus. He is your that. Your sibling. You go so far for that. Like me you were taken in. And you go after this. To save your 'brother'."

The woman smiled. "My brother died years ago. But if he is alive. I will keep it that way."

'Although I will have a lot of questions for him.

Well, this wasn't easy for me. Not only because of the Volume but also because of Mattheus and his new job. Which is why I am feeling the need for a shorter chapter on this matter that cleared up the mess. Not that easy. I apologize for having a shorter chapter, but this was largely written out, trying to ignore the Light Novel and the events.

I felt I had to work on Mattheus and establishing something first.

With that, I began working on new stuff, but I found it fit in this chapter. That is why we are done with this chapter. And the next will be a lot more fun. Taking back Tokyo is going to be a fun party.

And after nearly three years, we are finally on what I really want to write.

Saluut.
