Happy Friday everyone! I'm completely awestruck by you all! So glad you're enjoying this story and really hope you enjoy this update!

Happy followed Quinn and the SAMCRO brothers up to a cabin they had usefully tucked away in the middle of nowhere. He was looking forward to this. More so when Quinn asked him if he had his tools. He watched the shivers pass over the Redwood's faces as he smiled in response and nodded. He would enjoy the sounds that would escape the dead man, enjoy the tears and the feel of the fresh warm blood flowing down his hands. He would enjoy breaking the man who had hurt the Spitfire.

When they reached the cabin it was to find the dark van that Bobby and the prospect had taken along with the dead man's Mazda. Out of his saddle bags Happy pulled his bag of tools. He ignored the flinches cast by some of the members. It wasn't like he was gonna use them on the men watching. Unless he was asked to anyway. And if he was it was because one of them had screwed up badly enough that it was the only choice. Which would mean it was their own fucking fault. Happy didn't think it hurt to remind guys of that sometimes.

The group entered the cabin to find the man tied to a kitchen chair, his face was a mess and Happy glanced at the guy's leg. Sure enough there was a bullet hole in his calf.

"I thought I told you knuckleheads not to touch him," Clay growled at Bobby and the prospect. The prospect paled. Pussy.

"We didn't. Found him like this," Bobby said with a raised eyebrow and a smirk. Happy grinned. The Spitfire had done the damage. Caused almost as much as she had received. He was proud of her. She had listened to them while they taught her.

"Bells did this?" Quinn asked, sounding as proud as Happy felt.

"Oh yeah. Matt here has been real chatty. Told us all about how he had been planning this to get a prospect patch. How Bella fought him and how the 'bitch' even shot him. We got the gun back as well," Bobby said, nodding towards Quinn and Happy.

"So, you want to join us?" Clay asked, lighting up a cigar.

"Yeah, I mean-"

"What did you do to her?" Jax cut over the man.

"Just knocked her around a little. That's all," apparently Matt knew he'd fucked up big time. Happy was sure he wasn't aware of just how bad though.

"Really? Why did tha lass have bruises in places she shouldn' then?" Chibs said between clenched teeth. Happy looked towards the Scot and frowned. Was something going on between the brother and the girly? He didn't like that thought one bit. She was his. She was Happy's.

"I didn't get to screw the slut, just felt her up a bit," Matt grumbled looking upset.

Quinn smacked him with a meaty fist. Happy smiled as the guy spat blood and a tooth.

"Fuck man," Matt said looking scared now.

"Happy?" Quinn asked.

Happy nodded and laid out his bag of tools, unrolling them carefully so Matt could watch. The anticipation, the fear of what was to come was half of the fun. Carefully, methodically and slowly Happy inspected each one of his tools. He took good care of them but he still liked to check them before a job.

"Why her?" Tig asked Matt.

"Look, guys, I didn't mean-"

"Answer the question before our friend here makes you," Clay said nodding to Happy who was inspecting his hacksaw for broken teeth.

"I thought she was just another biker slut that you guys didn't care about," Matt said, his eyes wide as he already pissed himself. This was going to be boring. No challenge.

Quinn smacked the guy again and Matt lost another tooth.

"You've got something that belongs to my kid," Quinn said quietly.

"What? Man, no, I don't know you, or your kids. I swear. I'm not a thief, I don't have anything!"

"My daughter's name is Bella," Quinn said leaning into Matt's face. "And you have something that belongs to her."

"Oh shit!" Matt started crying. Happy rolled his eyes as the others started laughing.

"Happy?" Quinn asked.

"On it," Happy grinned. He took a pair of pliers, much too big for the job, and looked Matt in the eyes.

"What's he got?" The prospect asked in confusion. Dumbass.

"Her bullet," Tig grinned as Happy got to work removing it.

The next morning Gemma and Georgia were on the front porch of Bella's house passing a blunt back and forth. Both were showing signs of their sleepless night. Bella had nightmares and they had been there for her. Georgia was bothered by how much Bella apologised. For the nightmares, for waking them up, for causing trouble. She was sure that Bella hadn't told them everything when it came to her shitty childhood. Then this crap. It was a wonder the girl was as sweet and normal as she was.

"You know she's gonna try and get back to work tomorrow right?" Gemma said, breaking the silence of the early morning.

"Yup. Rane and me'll stick around for a few days. Make sure she does nothing but relax," Georgia said confidently. If Rane had to go do something she could stay. She would stay.

"Good luck with that," Gemma chuckled. "Girl doesn't know the meaning of the word relax."

Georgia chuckled with Gemma, the weed helping her de-stress and see the funny side of this unfunny event.

"I've been trying to push her and Jax together since his split from that junkie whore. Neither of them are interested though, fight like brother and sister. Plus Jax is insisting he's still married," Gemma said casually. Georgia sat up a bit. Gemma never did anything casually, ever.

"Doubt she's gonna be interested in anyone for a while now," Georgia pointed out. Judging by the way Bella flinched at Chibs she might stay away from guys for a long while.

"She'll be fine. She's strong," Gemma disagreed. "She's got a crush on Chibs. That shits really cute, funny too."

"Chibs? Really? He's got to have what, twenty years on her?" Georgia said in surprise. Bella hadn't mentioned anything. Maybe they needed to have more heart to hearts on guys and other mother daughter shit? Lord knows she wasn't gonna discuss that with Renee.
"She's older than her nineteen years. Hell she's older mentally then half those guys," Gemma said with a wry smile.

"Still, hell of an age gap. Is Chibs interested?" Georgia asked. Chibs wasn't a bad guy at all. He'd treat Bella right, but that age gap, and the Irish bullshit that he had and his family? Georgia wasn't convinced at all. Not that she really had any say, Bella was an adult, Chibs was an adult.

"Don't know. He looks, but they all do," Gemma shrugged passing the almost smoked blunt back. "I tried pushing it away by telling her Chibs thought of her like a daughter."

"Ouch," Georgia chuckled. She wondered what Rane would think. Then again, she knew Rane thought something different entirely. "Rane is of the opinion that Bella likes Happy."

Gemma sat quietly for a few moments obviously in thought. The birds were tweeting as the sun rose in front of them. It looked to be another beautiful day.

"I could see that," Gemma nodded. "Makes sense, she laughs and jokes with him whenever he passes through. Even seen him crack a smile in her direction."

Georgia thought about it. She didn't know if Bella could handle being an Old Lady, she knew basically nothing of the club and no one was in any hurry to change that. Still, if Bella ended up with Happy or even Chibs she would need to know the rules. She could end up with a Joe Average, but Georgia doubted it. She had too much fire, too much adrenaline to be attracted to a boring life with a white picket fence and two point four kids. Bella had the same joie de vire that Gem and her had.

"Happy's never had a relationship has he?" Gemma asked in thought.

"No. But he doesn't smack the crow eaters or sweetbutts around," Georgia defended the man. He might be a bit of a psychopath, maybe even more than a bit, but he didn't hurt women or kids. Not even to put women in their place as some of the guys did.
"It could work," Gemma mused with a nod as Georgia stubbed out the joint.

"Let them be. Bella doesn't need a matchmaker right now. Give her some time to get over this," Georgia insisted.

"You know she's a virgin?"

"Shit! Really?" Georgia said with wide eyes. She hadn't known that at all. That made things more complicated. None of the club would want that responsibility. Joe Average it was then. Poor kid.

"Chibs would be good to her," Gemma said, clearly still on her matchmaker kick. Georgia just shook her head at the other woman.
They sat for a while longer in silence, both women thinking of the girl who was finally asleep. Gemma contemplating her romantic relationships or lack thereof, Georgia thinking how she could help her through these next few days. The both broke out of their silent contemplation when a car drove up and stopped outside of the small house.

Shit, Georgia thought as a policeman climbed from the car, his face stern.

"Shit," Gemma hissed out loud, before she schooled her face into a bright, fake smile. "Deputy Hale, what can we do for you so early in the morning?"

"I'm looking for Isabella Swan?" The man said, his face set in a frown. There was no love lost there at all.

"She's asleep. What can we do for you?" Gemma said while Georgia watched.

"We've had a missing persons report for Mathew Connington. He was supposed to be having a date last night with Isabella, but he never returned home," Hale said, watching both women.

"Isn't there supposed to be a forty eight hour waiting period? How do you know he's not up in bed with some chick somewhere?" Georgia asked, they should have had longer than that to handle everything. Hell, she was supposed to have a shot at the asshole.

"Just making some preliminary enquiries. Can never be too careful. And to my surprise I found out that Isabella works for Teller-Morrow. Thought I'd just come, make sure that she's not caught up in anything, maybe see if Mathew is here with her so I can put his mom's mind to rest," Hale said and Georgia's bullshit meter topped the charts. Whatever the hell was going on wasn't what this guy was saying.

"Well she's sleeping, like we said," Gemma stopped the fake crap and went into mama bear mode.

Bella had woken at the sound of the car door slamming shut, her heart racing in her chest and her head pounding. She slipped to the top of the stairs still in her pj's and listened to what Georgia and Gemma were saying to the man in uniform. Her feet burnt as she stood on them, her eye was still swollen closed and wouldn't open, she felt as if she had been mangled.

Bella let out a breath, knowing she needed to clear herself and the club of whatever happened with Matt. She knew it was unlikely that he was going to be found safe and whole, especially with what she'd heard them say while she had been in Happy's arms.

As cheerily as she could manage she skipped down the stairs and tried not to wince as it made her feet hurt worse. "Morning!" She yelled out happily towards the front door. "I'm gonna pop on some coffee anyone for-" she stopped as though surprised to see the policeman on her porch. "Oh, sorry. Erm.. hi?"

"Isabella Swan?" The man asked, looking her over, his eyes narrowing at her face which she knew looked like she had been ten rounds with Mike Tyson.

"Yes?" Bella said hesitantly.

"I'm Deputy-Chief Hale," the man introduced himself with what he must have thought was a reassuring smile. It wasn't.

"Good morning, would you care for some coffee?" Bella asked politely.

"No, thank you. Nasty looking bruises you got there," he pointed out.

"Huh?" Bella asked, trying to look confused. "Oh! Yeah, an accident at work. There's a reason I'm not allowed to use the lift alone," she made herself blush, an easy feat and one she was glad of for once.

"You sure, if you've had some issues, you can always tell us," Hale said in sympathy.

"I would. My stepdad was chief of police, I have no problems going to the police if I need to," Bella insisted. "But this really was an accident. The accident form is at work and everything."

"Hmm… You went on a date with Mathew Connington last night?" Hale persisted.

"If you can call it that, yeah," Bella agreed.

"Where did you go?"

"We went to a movie in Lodi and then he drove me back to Teller-Morrow," Bella said, lying her ass off. "Why?"

"He's missing," Hale said, his face watching hers carefully.

"Really? Are you sure? No offense or anything but he could have gone on to a bar or something, picked out someone who would 'put out'," Bella said bitterly, her face twisting to show her annoyance.

"Did he try something with you?" Hale asked with interest.

"He was annoyed that I would only kiss him, but he didn't try to force anything if that's what you mean. You'd have met me before now if he did," Bella added with a dark frown.

"Right well, if you see him or hear from him, you let us know," Hale nodded to her.

"I very much doubt I'll be hearing from him unless it's about his junker car but, sure will do," Bella nodded, her hands were feeling sweaty but she kept them still by her side.

"You look happy for someone who had a bad date," Hale said with raised eyebrows.

"The night ended well after that," Bella said, making herself blush again with a coy smile as she looked at the floor.

"Really?"

"Yeah," again with a smile as she glanced at Georgia and Gemma before looking away quickly, her face flushing darker.

"Well okay then, thanks for your time, it was nice meeting you," Hale said as he started walking away.

"You too," Bella said with a smile and a short wave.

The three women watched the Deputy-Chief drive away in silence.

"That was some good bullshit sweetheart," Gemma said after a few minutes. "Why did you say he dropped you off at T.M though?"
"I've got an alibi and now so has everyone else. I went to the club, hung out with you guys, catching up with dad," Bella explained, her arms folding around her middle. "I'm going to get dressed, I'm going to need to write out an accident form before tomorrow."

Bella turned around missing the looks Georgia and Gemma sent each other.

Bella was annoyed. It had been four days and her dad and Georgia were still babysitting her. She loved spending time with them, but they wouldn't let her do anything. She couldn't even do her own washing. Going to work was a big no too. When she'd started worrying about her job and her cash flow they'd had answers for that as well. Her dad and Happy were covering her shifts and they'd told Gemma to pay her as normal. She'd tried to argue. A lot. It hadn't gotten her anywhere. Then she'd tried getting Happy's number so Gemma could at least pay him. Her dad had refused to give it to her. So she had rang Gemma, who said that she had to do what her dad and Happy had said. It was frustrating. More than frustrating, it was infuriating. All she had to do was mope around and think.

Plus Hale had been back. Taken an official statement. She kept with her story. Keeping it nice and brief, avoiding any pitfalls Charlie had once told her about.

A knock at her door pulled her out of her frustration and she went to answer it, beating Georgia who was rushing from the kitchen to get it. Immaturely Bella wanted to stick her tongue out as she opened the door with a smile on her face.

She smiled even wider as she saw Happy and Bobby at the door. Her stomach swooped at the sight of the tattooed man, his dark eyes capturing her gaze.

"Hi! Come on in!" She said enthusiastically.

"Well hello to you too sweetheart, that's a nice greeting. If any of my wives had greeted me like that I might still be married," Bobby chuckled, kissing her on the cheek as he walked past her to Georgia. She was proud as she didn't flinch, she tightened slightly but she didn't think it was noticeable.

"Hey, how you feelin' girly?" Happy asked, walking in and nodding to her.

"Great, ready to get back to work. Thanks for taking my shifts… Er look, can you take the payment for the work, giving it to me is really not necessary?" Bella said, biting her lip as she closed the door behind him.

"No. I got somethin' for ya," Happy said, facing her and shutting her down completely.

"Happy-"

"Here," he said, passing her the gun he'd given her months ago. The one she'd used to shoot Matt.

"Thank you," Bella said smiling at him before checking the safety was on and checking the ammo. It had been refilled. He nodded at her with a small upturn on his lips again. "Again always talking," she rolled her eyes at him but could feel her heart flutter.

"Always a smart ass," Happy countered and she smiled wider at their thing. It wasn't much but she enjoyed it.

"You two want to stop flirting and join us?" Bobby called from the kitchen. Bella felt her face flame at that.

Bobby had brought some of his 'famous' blueberry muffins to cheer her up. Taking a bite out of one she could see why they were lauded so much they were good. Really good.

"Thank you Bobby, these are delicious," Bella smiled at him.

"You're welcome sweetheart, I'll give you the real good stuff when you're off medication," he winked at her.

"What good stuff? Better than these? And I'm not on any medication," Bella said as she picked up another piece of the muffin and popped it in her mouth. It was so good.

"Pain meds babe," Bobby clarified as if she didn't know what medication was.

"Not on any," Bella repeated. She wasn't in pain most of the time. Sometimes her shoulder niggled but that was it.

"You're not? Well shit if I'd have known that I'd have brought ya the ones I left at the clubhouse. They'll be gone now though, sorry sweetheart. Next time," Bobby said as Bella got out some mugs for coffee.

"Coffee?" She asked the two men, automatically making one for Georgia who was watching everything uncharacteristically quietly. She wondered what that was about.

"Yeah, go on," Bobby nodded and Bella looked over to Happy, he also nodded.

"You're going to have to use your words to tell me how you take yours Happy," she grinned at him, ignoring his glare that held no real heat to it. She stood watching him with raised eyebrows as he stayed silent, she tried not to laugh.

"Black," he eventually muttered and she giggled.

"See, not so hard was it?" She teased him as she poured the coffee.

"Smart ass," he reiterated again with the slight upturn of his lips that was obviously his way of smiling.

She doled out the coffees and led the guys and Georgia over to her sofas.

Georgia sat next to Bobby leaving the seat next to Bella free for Happy. It gave her a small thrill sitting that close to him and she felt ridiculous for that. She wasn't a thirteen year old with her first crush.

They talked about the shop, about how Hale had been and how Bella was recovering, it was a nice half an hour before the guys had to go. Happy was covering her afternoon shift with Lowell.

"Oh hey, Happy, can I get your number? I wanted to message you about the money but didn't have it," Bella said before feeling her face flush again at her forwardness. Still she might want to message him another time and she didn't want her dad or Georgia refusing to give her it again.

"Sure," he nodded and held out a hand for her phone. She passed it over and watched as he put his number in, ignoring the butterflies in her stomach.

"Thanks," Bella smiled at him and got a small smile in response.

"You want my number too sweetheart?" Bobby asked with an exaggerated wink.

"I've already got yours," she rolled her eyes at him. "Thanks for the muffins Bobby. I'll see you guys soon."

She put her phone away as she closed the door as they walked to their bikes.

Bella turned to clear up the mugs only to find Georgia watching her with a smirk.

"What?" Bella asked, did she have muffin crumbs on her face or something?

"Nothing. Just you and Happy looked cozy," Georgia said with a wicked grin. Bella seriously needed female friends who weren't related to her. She found herself missing Angela all of a sudden.

"Yeah, in the same way you and Bobby looked cozy," Bella brushed her stepmom off and went to grab the mugs.

"Sure," Georgia chuckled. "'Oh Happy can I get your number?'" She mocked while batting her eyelashes.

"I sound nothing like that," Bella said, turning her burning face away.

"You sounded exactly like that. You have a crush on Happy," Georgia stated rather than asked.

"No I don't," Bella lied. Badly.

"Uh huh," Georgia grinned. "You know we can talk about it. I've known Happy for years, maybe I can give you some pointers?"

"Or we can just pretend this never happened?" Bella suggested hopefully.

"Come on, talk to me!" Georgia said enthusiastically.

"Fine. But this stays between you and me okay? You can't tell dad!" Bella said looking at Georgia who was smiling widely.

"You know it's really made him happy you calling him that. Seriously, he smiles so wide every time you do. But I promise to tell your dad nothing we discuss right now," Georgia agreed, her eyes sparkling as they both took seats at the small breakfast bar.

"I do have a little- very little- crush on Happy. Feel better now?" Bella said hating that she was once again blushing.

"Oh yeah. So, are you going to try and do something about it?" Georgia asked.

"Nope," Bella said honestly. "He already told me I was too young when I first met him, to him I'm just Quinn's daughter. He's not interested."

"Not sure that's true. He was watching your ass earlier," Georgia smirked.

"Only because he's too scared of dad to watch yours," Bella chuckled, ignoring her leaping stomach once more. Had he really been watching her ass?

"Happy isn't scared of anyone or anything," Georgia stated with a chuckle. "I've got an idea, come on."

"This is stupid," Bella groused again as they stepped out of Georgia's car. Georgia and her had, at Georgia's insistence, gotten dressed up into short shorts for the warm day, done their makeup and hair, Georgia had put on lots of concealer for Bella's bruises, not that it did much good. They were now delivering coffees and baked goods from the diner for the 'hard working men'.

"No it's not, you want him to see you as more than your dad's daughter, this will do it. And if you don't trust me, trust those three numbers ya got in the twenty minutes we've been out of the house," Georgia chuckled before slipping her sunglasses on.

Outside the garage were her dad, Tig, Clay and Chibs working on their bikes so they headed over there first.

"Hey," Georgia smiled widely as she went to kiss Quinn.

"Hey babe," Quinn said, looking Georgia over in a way that made Bella look away. It was not something she wanted to see from her 'parents'. She hoped they decided to stay at the clubhouse that night, she wanted to hear it even less. "What did I do to deserve my two girls coming to see me?" Quinn said, pulling Bella in for a hug and kissing the top of her head.

"Coffee and pastries," Bella said, holding out the tray of coffees she held.

"I'm a lucky man," Quinn grinned at her while taking the coffee with his name written on the side.

"Clay, this one's for you," Bella said, attempting to get Clays out while not dropping the rest.

"Thank ya sweetheart," Clay nodded as he took the drink.

"Tig," Bella passed his over.

"Thanks sweetie. How you feeling now?" Tig asked and once more Bella was surprised he wasn't hitting on her. He always had before, even when she was covered in oil and grease. Nothing seemed to deter the curly haired Son.

"I'm much better, thanks Tig," she smiled at him. "Chibs, tea for you."

"Thank ye lovey," Chibs said, winking at her. "Ye sure ye feeling better? Ye lookin' better that's fe sure," he grinned looking her over from head to toe.

Bella bit her lip hard to try and not blush. It didn't work. "Much better. I'll be back here bugging you in a day or two."

"Why don't you take the rest of the drinks inside Bells? I'll be there in a minute," Georgia suggested with a knowing smile.

"Alright," Bella said walking towards the garage, she had missed this place. The noise, the banter, even the dirt and the mess. Staying at home doing nothing was boring, something Teller-Morrow never was.

"Hey guys, brought some coffees for you!" Bella called out as her eyes adjusted from the bright sunshine lit forecourt to the dim garage.

"Shit, your back, we have to put up with your feminie shit again?" The prospect was the first to approach her and she rolled her eyes at him.

"Yeah, because listening to you bitch about how you only have one ball is just a dream," she snapped at him.

"You can see it instead of just hearing about it?" He suggested going to unbutton his trousers. Before she could protest he had his trousers and boxers down his knees, a smirk on his face.

"I'm no expert but aren't dicks supposed to be bigger than that?" Bella shot at him with raised eyebrows and she flushed as she heard laughter around her.

"Yes they are Spitfire," Happy said smirking as he walked over his hands in an old rag.

"Bitch," the prospect grouched.

"No coffee for you," Bella said as she handed Happy his, he smacked the prospect in the back of the head as he walked forward.

"Thanks," he said, his eyes on hers before he slowly looked her up and down. She felt her breath catch as he caught her gaze again, his eyes shimmered, a liquid heat that she felt echoed in her stomach. "Lookin' good girly. You get all dressed up for me?"

"You wish, all for me right Bella?" Lowell said, taking his coffee.

"No, you wish Lowell," Bella replied.

"Oh yes I do," Lowell sighed and dodged her as she tried to slap his arm.

"Why do I want to come back again?" She asked sarcastically, happy to be out of the house.

"I'm taking five," Happy grunted at Lowell he eyed Bella before taking off to the picnic benches. Bella quickly handed a laughing Bobby his coffee before she followed with her own clutched in her hand.

"How's it going? A shift with Lowell and Half-Sac, sorry about that," Bella said, smiling as she sat down opposite him.

"They leave me alone," Happy shrugged, his intense gaze solely focused on her. "What you got?" He asked, pointing to her coffee as he lit up a cigarette. "Some girly frappe thing?"

"If you class a latte with a double shot, a girly frappe thing, yes," Bella laughed.

"Eh, close enough. Why you here then?" He was obviously trying to make conversation, something she realised he didn't do that often and she enjoyed it.

"Georgia's idea. I think she wanted to see dad," Bella said, nodding over to Quinn and Georgia who were making out like teenagers on Quinn's bike. She racked her brain trying to come up with a subject they could both talk about. She knew so little about him though it was difficult.

"Quinn said Hale was giving you a hard time?" Happy asked, filling the silence.

"Like I said earlier, it's not too bad. Wanted to know why I was brought back here instead of home, why I was so happy after a bad date, that kind of thing. Trying to trip me up. Charlie used to talk about work though and that guy hasn't got anything on Charlie," Bella said, trying not to think too hard on the man who she'd thought was her dad for almost nineteen years.

"What reason you give?" Happy seemed interested.

"I came back here to hang out with you guys and my dad. Just said it had been a good night after the bad date, didn't give any details. Made it seem like I'd met someone else by acting embarrassed and like I didn't want to get into it in front of Georgia," Bella told him, taking the lid of her latte and drinking it from the polystyrene cup.

"Why did ya go out with that guy? He was a pussy," Happy asked her, finishing his cigarette.

"I hadn't been on a date in two years, not even sure if my ex taking me to a restaurant and making me eat was a date really. He asked and I was too hungover to figure out if I really wanted to or not," Bella said, feeling her face flush. She realised she was admitting just how pathetic she really was.

"Next time you want a guy who isn't a total dick," Happy smirked at her.

"I'll keep that sage advice in mind," Bella chuckled, shaking her head.

"Smart ass."

"I'd tease you about your lack of communication skills again but you seem to be doing alright. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone," she grinned at him.

"Happy!" Lowell yelled and the man in question sighed.

"Thanks for this. I'll see you soon, girly," he said, getting up off the bench and heading into the garage.

"So?" Georgia asked ten minutes later when they were driving home. "How did it go, we saw you two sitting together talking."

"We talked, that was it," Bella shrugged. It hadn't been much but she did enjoy talking to Happy, he made her laugh.

"Okay, so we move onto plan B."
