In YCMW: gou and Hikari came in 25 years ahead but in YCMWA, 18 months(one and half year) had passed since they last visited. means 23 years and 6 months ahead.
gou's age: 15 years
Hikari's age: 3plus(less than 4)
Hilary's age was 15 years but now it's 16plus
Kai's age was 16 years but now it's 17 plus...in this ffn.

TIMELINE: DURING THIRD WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS_
Time moved so fast, it was like yesterday when little-hikari came out of the blue in Kai and Hilary's life and actually became their life.
(AN: Gou (angry): AND ALSO ME!)
It was quite hard to forget her cuteness even though she was with them for a day, but that one day was everything to them b/c that day changed Kai and Hilary's perspectives for themselves. They started to care more for one another on superior levels and this time they hadn't had to hide it either, their feelings were genuinely pure and grew fonder and deeper as each and everyday passed but not everything was going according to as they planned. Specially kai, he was super frustrated as they both couldn't manage time for eachother since he wasn't only playing for different team now but also Hilary had some upcoming scholarship exams to prepare for, so she couldn't join BBA-revolution either and stay at home since her centre was located in Japan. Kai even told her that he could pay for all her higher education and tantrums also but Hilary denied b/c there had many reasons and reason no. 1, Dating and having any kind of romantic relationship before a perticular age was forbidden in Tachibana family, what if her parents asked her about the money and fees, who provided this to her, also, what she could say? she won lottery! tbh, not bad idea. Beside this, they were the one who told(forced/ordered) her to study for scholarship exams and sadly she couldn't join her friends. ofcourse she didn't tell kai about her parents' this new demand. she told him she was the one wanted to try for it. And second reason was, I hope you know the personality of Hilary's parents and their strictness, if they happened to find out about her, then she would be doomed. I think that's enough reasons. she was grateful for his offer and showed him gratitude but her pride didn't let him help her also her hands were tied.
Kai had nothing to argue about this topic anymore b/c he knew about her parents and obviously she told him after that day when they got more involved in their lives. As Hilary started to trust on kai, she told him her even more deeper secrets which she kept for years in her lonely corner of heart but there was few secrets which was still hidden behind her corney overthinking mind.
So, long story short, Kai and Hilary had started dating years ago, obviously more things happened between them than dating, like (cough) M-rated stuffs and etc etc. but-
BUT...
They had been secretly dating and I'm telling you already it's Hilary's idea to keep it secret b/c if things were in Kai's hands he would've married her already, of course religiously since they both belongs to typical Japanese families and they aren't legally at right age either b/c once again live-in relationships are forbidden and even if people lives, it's weren't seen as good when it comes to opposite sex unless they were married, or you live-in High society area and Kai's point seems valid here.
Actually the reason behind keeping it secret had many things like outrage of fans, new haters, obviously there had people who already hate kai too and didn't seem to care (-_-') and how could we forget about Hilary's parents; but above that the major reason was there has a news channel which had been spying eye on kai b/c they could gain numerous TRP by his fangirls/boys who were always die to know anything related to kai. unfortunately, kai wasn't their only target but he was on top in the list.
So, there was already numerous rumours about kai dating some brunette girl for quite sometime(of course that's hilary). everytime whenever kaihil went on any dates or hung-out together, this sports news channel was always there to report anything about kai.
Kai filed some lawsuit against them but these sly foxes were super deaf turned the tables.
So, hilary decided to keep it secret for awhile until she was ready to take the rage of public. kai couldn't blame her for this since he also didn't want anything to come between her studies, they agreed and planned to do something about it after the 3rd beyblade world championships. Actually they planned to keep it secret for years until they upload a news of their wedding, taking all the rage at once. And tbh, it's much better idea. great job, kai.
Currently, everyone were in Egypt for the 4th round of Beyblade World Championships.
(AN: I forgot the details, so I searched that the 1st round was held in New York. 2nd, in Italy. 3rd, Madrid in Spain. 4th, in Egypt and at last moment, the Finals in Australia and I decided not to change a single concepts but...but... HIKARI-CHAN DID!)
THE DAY BEFORE THE ALL OTHER TEAM'S ARRIVAL_
~9:40AM~
"The flight number 524B from Japan has landed on the 2nd runway of X airport at 9:40AM" an International flight from Japan to egypt just landed in the airport on time.
(AN: I really don't know how they do announcements at airport, so if you know, please let me know in comments)
A 16 years old japanese brunette came out of the plane with a very longing smile on her lips. she was wearing a jean short and a black crop top accordingly Egypt's climate while her orange jacket was handing on her right arm.
The moment her plane landed on the airport, her dream came true, she had been enjoying every single moment in Egypt since it was her first time here.
She was so busy with admiring the beauty of the X International airport that she totally forgot, someone was waiting for her on the airport.
"HILARY!" a girl who was older as her, tapped on Hilary's shoulder. she spoke in her cool and calm voice.
When Hilary turned to look at the person, A very big bright smile came on her face to see her cousin.
"TSUKI !!" She jumped to hug her b/c she had seen her after a very long time. here, long meant 4 years. they used to talk on voice-call and through mails but they finally met after long time.
Tsuki Kunugi, Hilary's one of the favourite cousin, actually they weren't blood related. she had long flowless midnight blue hair and sharp silver cerulean eyes. Hilary's grandmother was godmother to Tsuki's mother and japanese by culture but Tsuki's dad was Egyptian. when he came to japanese as cultural exchange student, he met Tsuki's mom in university where Hilary's mom used to go too and eventually they both fell in love but this wasn't their story. When they got married, They shifted to Egypt permanently. so, Tsuki was half japanese- half Egyptian.
As aijinmegami described Tsuki's character, she had kai like personality minus his cold attitude. she was more like one of those super introverts who don't give f to this world. yup, she had mature, calm and understanding character beside this she could be savage whenever she wants. I will definitely show you in future chapters.
"are you done?" she said in her bored tone as she blinked. actually, she was also happy to see Hilary after long time but just too bored to express her feelings.
"aww! don't be party-pooper! I know you are happy to see me too!" Hilary pouted and then she grinned "I wanted to visit this place for so long. I'm feeling like I'm queen! hahaha" I didn't think I need to explain this part to everyone that how much hilary loved Egypt.
"yeah! definitely!" tsuki said in her dried but smooth voice as she rolled her eyes. she snatched hilary's backpack and slowly left hilary on her grounds with closed eyes.
"HEYY! I'M COMING TOO!" Hilary said loudly as she followed her cousin and leaned on her shoulder.
"so you came to pick me alone? where is aunty and uncle" she said as she looked around with slight concern.
"don't mention them!" Tsuki grunted as her forehead nerve twitched. it's very rare for her to get angry.
"what happened?" Hilary blinked once, then nervously laughed .
"they went out for their 28th honeymoon!" she hissed with deadpan look on her face.
"hein!" hilary's sweat-dropped with unexpected look 'sounds like uncle and aunty's love is still alive' she thought with hollow eyes.
"I'm not mad b/c they left. I'm mad b/c they left even though they knew you are coming" she grinded her teeth into powder as her more nerves twitched as she got flashback.
"tsuki! your mom and I've planned another honeymoon!" Tsuki's mom and dad were hugging with intertwining their fingers, infront of tsuki and lovingly said to their one and only daughter.
"but! hilary is coming!" Tsuki said "you can't just do for another honeymoon like that!"
"yes! we can! I really want to spend sometime with your mom after such a long businesstrip" he answered back with same loving expression "and why do you need us old people around you. you are young generation, you sisters should spend time with yourselves"
"but-"
"we take it as yes. our bags are ready we are leaving in an hour, please tell us if you want something!"
"definitely not a sibling!" she growled as she rubbed her forehead.
"ehehe! it's alright!" Hilary nervously laughed to see her sister's furiously deep blue "I mean this way we could have more time for ourselves" Hilary tried to lightened up the mood.
When they went in outside the airport, there was a motorbike parked which was midnight blue in colour just like her hair.
"woah!" Hilary was fascinated by her bike "you know how to ride it?" she asked innocently.
Tsuki had to glance at her when she heard her question "you know I'm an year older than you beside this-" she answered as she wore her helmet and sat on the bike and threw the spare to hilary "-nobody cares!" she sighed by shook her head to sit on the back seat. Tsuki grinned to see her sister's reaction.
"oh! yeah" Hilary wore her helmet carefully "please just don't drop me" and teased her cousin. Tsuki had to roll her eyes with her head.
"hold tight! here we gooooooo...!"
"WOOOOHOOOO!" Hilary cheered as her cousin speed up and held tightly on her. Oh boi! it's going to be long vacation.
They both talked about the events and things like usually people talk about when they met after long time. Tsuki knew about Hilary's parents, so she didn't bother to ask.
~11:00AM~
"finally we arrived here" hilary said to herself as she let her body fell back on the soft mattress of bed in the guest room of Tsuki's home. And boi was she RICH! I mean her parents were RICHIE RICH!
'If kai found out that I'm in Egypt too he would definitely freak out. I can't wait to see his face. yeah! he told me that his plane will land in evening, Today. I will give him a big surprise tomorrow!' She thought as she smiled dreamingly.
"why are you smiling like an idiot!?" Tsuki asked in her normal calm tone as she entered in the room with more clean towels.
"huhh! oh, it's nothing. just, I still can't believe I'm here!" Hilary made an excuse like professional liers.
"okay, guffball!" tsuki agreed in monotone but Hilary didn't notice her narrowed glares on her. Something was definitely up "take bath and get fresh! I'm going downstairs to prepare lunch for us!"
"I will take you to show around here tomorrow!" Tsuki said.
"where we will go?" hilary jolted up and asked as her eyes gleamed with excitement.
"uhh! we will start with Street Market!" Tsuki informed, sweat-dropped.
"OKKAYYY!" Hilary screamed. oh gawd! she so gonna love it!
CURRENTLY NEXT DAY_
Blitzkrieg boys were going to have match against Barthez Battalion. white tigerX were going to have match against PPB allstarz and lastly BBA revolution were going to have match against F-dynasties. The three teams whoever would win, will go for the finals.
So, let's come back to the current situation. Last evening, All the teams had check-in their hotel (same 5-stared hotel) and next morning, went in obviously same street market to enjoy,... expect Blitzkrieg boys. They were practicing in the gym of their hotel which was only provided to their team b/c first kai couldn't live in the same room with two beds b/c he wanted his privacy, so Kai paid extra money from his pocket for the VIP service. a perfect Air conditioning place with 4 bedrooms and living area on the top floor, amazing and fast room service, special treatment and facilities, a glass wall to provide them fabulous view of the city. Second, they couldn't handle the temperature of Egypt and third they all were mostly anti-social. I think this one is enough!
~12:00PM~
"Let's take a quick break!" tala suggest and they all were fine with it. Kai went out to get himself a drink. he was in very deep and serious thoughts that he slightly let his guard down as he was walking in the corridor.
"PAPA!" suddenly out of the blue, kai heard his little princess' voice. Even though it had been more than year but how couldn't he remember his precious princess' voice. it definitely belonged to hikari-chan. when his ears caught her sweet-chirpy voice his mind couldn't feed this thing into his system. He instantly turned to the source of her voice. He was alone in the corridor. was it his hallucinations?! was he missing her so much that he was imagining her!? This time kai could react for two people, first psychiatrist and second HILARY to hold him who was better option. but unfortunately, she wasn't here at all, not even to watch his match. should he call her?! she also called him whenever she had her mental breakdowns.
"I'm definitely imagining things again" he babbled to himself 'how she could be here' he thought as he shook his head. he was talking about Hikari-chan.
Kai went outside the hotel to get some fresh air which he highly needed right now. he bought out his phone from his pocket but suddenly he felt someone was spying on him, tsk! definitely those paparazzi. he went back in lobby and then called Hilary to have brief chats. he dialled her number but got surprised when Hilary picked up on first ring which was very unlike of her.
"hello!" he relieved to hear her soothing and calm voice and sat on couch, atleast they could talk through calls.
MEANWHILE_
Blitzkrieg boys were looking down at a little but very cute chibi-sized girl who was looking up at them with confused and scared look. (Ó.ò) The Little girl used her all the power of her brain cells to recognise the people infront of her.
"Heyy, kid! how did you get in?" tala coldly asked as he didn't want anyone to interrupt him during break time. he knelt down to make eye level with this little girl who wasn't scared at all but more confused.
"hn?" She titled her cute bobbley-head with confused look (O.o) and blinked twice.
The Little girl smiled brightly as her amethyst eyes sparkled-up. (nᴗn)
"OJII-SA(ojisan)" she chirped happily in Japanese accent, showing her tiny teeth on first sound, as she finally recognised the person and stepped forward to him, opened her tiny arms to hug him with pure intentions.
"you called me what?" tala asked as he ached his eyebrow and moved away which made little girl to stop on her tracks too and looked at him with the expression like she was the one who did something wrong (Ó.Ò) GASP! HOW COULD YOU, TALA! who refused for a hug from such a cute little girl.
"OJII-SA(OJI-SAN)" the little girl chirped in her cute-lively fluffy voice to catch his attention.
"you called me what again?" tbh, tala was already working on his japanese but he couldn't catch the pronounciation of this little girl.
"I think she meant 'oji'... what does that mean anyways?" Bryan said as he looked at tala who was staring at little girl with blank expression.
"In Japanese, it's uses for-... uncle" tala said bluntly as his eyes hollowed and both bryan and Spencer burst into laughter.
"HEYY! I'M NOT UNCLE!" he didn't yelled on Hikari but his teammates. he turned back to hikari-chan who was quietly looking at him with (ÒuÒ) Smile. and... his anger melted down.
"who are you, kid? what's your name?" tala asked neutrally with hard stare as he could but still cold.
"hikari Hiwatari!" if we talk about facts, Adult hilary taught her many things but hikari only mastered her name's pronounciation b/c back then Hikari-chan called herself 'hikali'. her 'r' sounds always messed up with 'l' but she lately get over it and pronounced it properly if the word itself started with 'r'.
"hiwatari?!" Tala repeated her surname as his eyes slightly widened.
"yeah! I was actually thinking about she looks like kai. just look at the colour and points of her hairs" Bryan added his logical opinion. Gou was atleast 92-95% similar to kai while little-hikari was more like 60-65% similar to kai in appearance which made Bryan's point valid.
"but what is she to him?" tala questioned to Bryan as he turned to stare him for a solid answer.
"Maybe little sister!" Spencer who was quiet whole time, added his thoughts... peacefully.
"kai never had a sister. he never mentioned" Bryan coldly replied with huff sound.
"there has many more thing that kai never mentioned about, specially his personal life!" tala seriously said in cold tone as he narrowed his eyes and then he glanced at Bryan to feed his brain a little piece of information.
"ojii-sa. Hikari-chan wan-t tu mee-t Papa!(oji-san, Hikari-chan come to meet papa!)" (Ó.Ò) little-hikari grabbed tala's attention by tugging on his pants's fabric and looked up at him, also showing her hidden neck.
"huh!?papa?! who is your father and I'm telling you I'M NOT YOUR UNCLE!" tala tried to say the last time more impactfully to fit this data in her mind that he wasn't anybody's uncle.
"huh?" Hikari-chan again tilted her head with more confusion (O.ò)
"I'm tala" Tala calmly said, staring direct into little-hikari's purely innocent amethyst eyes like anybody's could see their reflection...and sins! *amused smirk*
"ojii-sa?"
"it's ta-la!" he pronounced for her to understand easily.
"yuu ojii-sa" but hikari's processor wasn't ready to fed this data at all. she chirped happily with warm smile n.n
"tala" but her oji-san, I mean tala wasn't giving up either but then he thought if he wanted to get rid of this unknown child "uuh! man! but where is your papa?!" so, he should search up for her Father, so they could get back to their practice sooner.
"Hikari-chan wan-t papa but-t papa losh-t!?(hikari want to meet papa but papa lost!?)" Hikari-chan frowned with cracking voice to get attention, which she got from her uncle. (ÓnÒ)
"I think she is the one who lost" Bryan whispered to tala in deadpan voice but unexpectedly tala sweat-dropped, his reaction said thank you genius, how could I have known?!
"ojii-sa, fa-in-d papa!(oji-san find papa!)" she chirped as she requested in her cute sing-sang voice.
"I'm telling you for last time, my name is Tala!" tala exhaled from tiredness. he really needs a break, man!
"OJII-SA!" Hikari-chan thought her uncle was playing so he played with him (n.n) Tala got tired of yelling and talking, so he went to grab his water bottle, leaving hikari on her place, and she was having second thought of following him while first was, his oji-san is angry from her.
Bryan and Spencer were amused by this little-girl and somehow they wouldn't mind if this cute little-girl call them uncles or anything.
"guys, we have to find this little girl's dad ASAP!" tala commanded.
"fine, just talk to this kid to get more info" Bryan agreed to his captain's order but he wanted to have more time with hikari-chan since he didn't get chance to meet confident and cute kids everyday.
"hello, kid. I'm Bryan!" Bryan tried to approach her but little-hikari got scared and gasped to see unknown face and she hadn't seen Russians before so it kind of scared her. now you might be wondering then how she recognised tala. it's the fact that when they all grew up both Bryan and Spencer had grown beards but tala didn't b/c he liked to show-off his jawline. you know the jawline trends.
Little-hikari is familiar with Bryan and Spencer's beard and manly look but not this teenaged once.
Little-hikari ran to tala and hid behind/between his leg, clinging the fabric of his lowers. Tala stumbled and almost choked on his water he was drinking and looked down at scared-hikari who he didn't see coming to him. Tala's teammates were visibly confused too. unfortunately, they didn't know the reason behind her fear.
"what?" tala asked in short to hikari-chan. she didn't say anything, instead, she closed her eyes and tightened her grip on his calf muscles.
"get away! you will get hurt!" this time, Tala was genuinely concerned for Hikari-chan b/c she could get hurt if he lost his balance and accidentally fell on her.
Tala squat down to grab Hikari-chan in his arms b/c she wasn't moving away by herself. he gently held her in his arms and she also let him hold her and stood up which wasn't very expecting from tala.
"what happened!?" he neutrally asked as he was genuinely confused too but Hikari-chan cuddled even more in his arms and buried her face into his arms. and he didn't mind her!? woah! he was getting attached to her in minutes.
"Hikari-chan,.. nu know!(Hikari-chan no(don't) know)" she said in her trembling voice as her amethyst orbs were watery, she meant she didn't know who they were, talking about bryan and Spencer.
"you don't know me?!" tala asked as he looked down at Hikari who still hadn't looked up to make eye contact.
"yuu-" Hikari-chan's bobbley-round head slowing moved to look up, then she blinked, stared for a while to understand his words and said "-OJII-SA!" (n.n) she chirped happily as her round Tomato cheeks turned red with glee. Both of them laughed again while tala pissed off to his friends laughing at him.
"For gawd sake, I'm not uncle" he muttered in hiss but Hikari-chan couldn't get it and blinked again at tala with pure smile on her lips (OuO)
"But I don't get it why she is only familiar with you. by any chance, you met her before!?" Bryan asked to tala as he point out the odds, also he was jealous...a little!
"I never met this girl nor any family members of kai expect his grandfather!" tala answered with plain look on his face but he felt unease, almost sweating, when he noticed Hikari's purely innocent amethyst orbs seeking through his soul.
"then why don't you introduce us to her since she is only comfortable with you!?" Bryan used his brain cells as he had vowed to himself that he would get familiar with this little-girl.
"why are you asking me, though, I don't know her!" tala covered Hikari's ears and yelled at Bryan's nonsense "if you want to play with her, talk to her by yourself!" tala said coldly.
But when Bryan get to near Hikari, she frightened and instantly climbed on tala and sat on his right shoulder as her tiny legs were clinched from each side, before he could do anything to stop her, almost hugging his head. she was so tiny and small like a chibi character, her arms barely could complete the parameter horizontally of tala's head, almost covering his both eyes, making him to slightly lose his balance.
"ahh!" but tala firmly grabbed Hikari-chan so she wouldn't fell off! surprisingly, that's very nice of him. good, nothing happened to her.
Little-hikari's eyes turned bubbley (ಥnಥ) like it would burst out like waterfalls any moment if tala yelled or anybody else, so he didn't to stay calm as he was, mush-room sighed, he exhaled. what's going on in his life.
"I'm telling you, he is definitely hiding something from us!" Bryan whispered which was audible to tala with obviously look and Spencer nodded twice with 'hum' sound.
"I'm telling you, I really don't know her!" Tala's head vain popped out as he was still trying to stay as calm as he could, he stated by gritting his teeth.
"we don't trust!" Bryan said with playful narrowed eyes.
"you-" before tala could say something Kai came back to gym. Everyone looked at him as he entered in but when he looked at his teammates, his eyes widened and lips parted, creating a small gap.
When kai's glance landed on Hikari-chan. for gawd's name he couldn't believe she was actually there, was he hallucinating again? Hikari-chan, his little princess was here, in this time. he might think she was his illusion until-
"PAPA!" when Hikari-chan saw kai, her happiness bar reached at it's highest and then it exploded as she smiled brightly as stars. she immediately loosen her grip around tala's head, forgot about everything and tried to reach for kai from the distance but tala's reflexes were amazing, so he instantly grabbed her too before she could lose her balance and fall but her joy was on its peck, as a little child, she couldn't control it either or analysed her surrounding at once. Hikari's tiny arms were craving to be wrapped around her father for a sweet hug and she was continuing calling him as her pitch got higher than higher.
When kai actually heard her delightful squealing in cute chirpy voice, he finally concluded she wasn't his illusion. Without wasting time anymore, he ran to have her in his arms and smiled like he found the world's happiness.
"Papa!~" Hikari-chan chirped with enjoyment in sing-sang voice to meet her father from this time. Kai squeezed her into a tight hug, expressing his feelings to meet his princess again and Hikari-chan energetically rubbed her cheek against Kai's and tightly hugged back to show hers.
(AN: wherever you see a cute babies or fluffy stuff and you suddenly feel like 'aww! I badly wants to squeeze or hug them' yes, this feeling, you know kids feel these emotions too but in their own way )
"my child, my princess. what are you doing here?" Kai couldn't hold himself either to receive an unexpected visit of his princess.
"Hikari-chan wan-t tu mee-t papa(Hikari-chan want to meet papa)" hikari answered with her lovingly pure smile (nᴗn) as her bobbley-head danced with her, her tiny arms wrapped around him and hugged him again.
"re-yali? (really?)" the more she called him papa, the more his happiness grew. Kai wanted to hear more from his cute cinnamon roll.
"YUS! Hikari-chan missy-missy papa ALOTTTTTT! (yes! hikari-chan missed you LOT!)" she chirped gleefully as she grabbed his face and cupped his cheeks with ahhh~ just kill me plz!
"how much!" oh gosh! when her words reached in Kai's ears, he wasn't satisfied, ge simply wanted more and more of his princess' love.
"THIS THIS THISSSSSS MUCH!" Hikari-chan expanded her tiny arms as wide as she could that she almost fell back while jumping and bursting out with excitement and happiness. she tightly squeezed her eyelids with a wide smile on her cute small lips.
"that much!" Kai was expecting this but he practically pretended to be a little surprised while being in his character. he knew if he didn't let emotions out infront on his cute cinnamon roll, she might get upset "ora, my Hikari!" he praised her as ruffled her soft silky hair and then scooped her tightly in his arms.
"YUSH(YES!)" Hikari-chan immediately hugged him to be in her Papa's arms again. she jolted up her head to look at him with her big bubbley amethyst orbs.
"papa also missed you a lot!" kai said with a warm smile as he stroked back her flicks which was coming in her view.
"su, why papa nu come to meet Hikari-chan!?(so why papa didn't come to meet Hikari-chan!?)" (Ò.ó) she chirped in lower voice as her head titled with dumbfounded look.
"b/c when Hikari-chan go away, she didn't tell papa where she live!?" kai said neutrally.
"ohhh! Solly papa!(ohh! sorry papa!)" When reality settled in little hikari's little brain, she hugged him again with apologised look as her beautiful smile lowered.
"it's okay!" kai couldn't see his cute cinnamon roll getting upset so he kissed her forehead and the fact that he was so excited to see Hikari-chan that he totally forgot his teammates were there.
"WOAH WOAH! wait, hold on! kai you have a kid?! MAN! ARE YOU FU- ARE YOU INSANE!" it was actually Bryan who interrupted as his eyes widened for this little drama. he let them talk to get some information but the conversation got even messier, so he had so interrupt as everything was going from above his head.
"Bryan!" tala hardly glared Bryan as he 'tsk'ed on him and then turned back to kai. he didn't believe she was actually his child. b/c he knew kai from the very young age plus, according to this kid's age, kai didn't had any relationship back then b/c they were very young for these stuffs. man! even he still thought Kai was single. tala thought he and this little-girl was having a play together.
"Kai, why don't you tell us. who is she to you?!" tala said as he wanted to clear this mess and get rid of it as soon as possible since they had practice for rest of schedule.
"uh! my daughter!" he instantly said in his obvious tone as he had no reason nor excuse to hide it after calling her 'my child' Infront of them.
"SEE! told ya!" Bryan said with smirk while tala's jaw dropped.
"For real?!" Spencer asked as he was shocked too as he was eyeing both of them to come up with logical reason.
"uhh! it's like this-" kai started to say something but stopped to think twice before revealing the secret. he exhaled before say, he might gonna regret it but he had to say something before their thoughts go somewhere else.
"it's true that she is my daughter but she- she came from future" he finally said that, he already expected that his teammates weren't going to believe this shit.
"And I'm Nicola Tesla!" see! told ya! tala said as he raised his eyebrow. man! the whole team shared the same pro level of sarcasm.
"I know you wouldn't believe but that's the truth!" he said to tala "and I don't care either if you do or not" and then to his teammates.
"papa!" Hikari-chan tucked on fabric of Kai's shirt to grab his attention. she chirped in loud pitch as she was looking up, showing her invisible neck a little.
"yes, hikari" kai looked down at her and replied as he instantly changed his tone which fascinated his teammates in different way.
"why ojii-sa so so angri-angri!?(why oji-san so so angry!?)" she asked as her head bobbled with each word as she tried to make serious face but it turned out to be more cute.
"who knows!" kai answered in same same tone which surprised his teammates as they ached their facial features "ask him"
"oh ho! ojii-sa, you su su angri-angri too much!(oh ho! oji-san, you get so angry/ or you get angry too much!)" Hikari-chan put her both tiny arms around her tiny round waist and looked at tala with pissed off expression which she was playing. she shook her head on every word as if she was scolding on tala like grandma style.
Tala narrowed his eyes dangerously and looked somewhere else with humph sound but others tried to control their laugh while kai was just amused by Hikari's antics, once again. Dude, he already started to miss Hilary as the time of that day came in his mind.
"Hikari, who came with you!?" Kai asked from her as he bought her to his eye level.
"huh?!" but little-hikari cutely tilted her head as her lips parted to make confused sound (O.o)
"hikari. who is with you?" Kai tried to be more simple with his words as he slightly got concerned.
"Hikari-chan. came tu mee-t PAPA!(Hikari-chan came to meet PAPA!)" she chirped happily as she took his question somewhere else and threw her tiny arms in air. Meant she only came to meet him, nothing more nothing less.
"no one is with you?" kai instantly asked as now he was seriously concerned.
"Hikari-chan ij all a-lone!(Hikari-chan is all alone!)" she dumbfoundedly answered with plain expression.
"WHAT!" okay, now Kai's mind couldn't proceed. he was no time-traveller, no researcher, no nothing which could send his little princess back to her timeline.
"kai what happened!?" When they noticed Kai's shocked, he realised something definitely messed up. Bryan asked as he took some steps forward.
"oh man!" kai pressed his nose bridge as he closed his eyes in depressed way. this is going to be a very long day!
"so you are telling us that we have to take care of her of next 24 hours until she go back by herself!" tala repeated to clear any doubts. they all were sitting on their resting area in that private gym.
"or take care of her until someone comes to pick up her!" Kai also added. je somehow had hope that future hilary might notice their daughter's absence and rescue her from this time. he didn't tell his teammates about gou and Hilary. he only told them that little-hikari accidentally came in past one and half years ago and went back in time. they knew kai was hiding more details but he succeeded to convince them by saying that they didn't need to know extra.
"FOR REAL!" Bryan was amazing surprised to know that something like this could be possible and it was more unbelievable when the result was sitting in his friend's lap "man! your experience is sane but how did she time-travelled though!?" he definitely wanted to know more about it, specially how it actually works and so on.
"it's actually my wife who invented time traveling. I mean will invent* in future, so I really have know idea how it works" kai answered with unease as he said no excuse to hide it and also he wanted to brag about Hilary but he couldn't, at least not right now.
"you are kidding me!" tala literally said with straight face but not straight voice.
"crazy for another crazy!" Bryan grinned as he commented, more like complimented in friendly way while Spencer didn't know how to reach since he didn't had any binding with kai, so he stood there in silence but definitely wondered too.
"so who is her mom?!" Bryan said with smirk but received another hard glare from tala for taking vulgarly infront of kids.
"..." kai was looking for an answer but before he could come up with anything.
"papa we-ere ij mumma!?(papa, where is mumma!?)" Hikari-chan turned around in his lap, looking face to face, then she climbed on his arms and stood up. little-hikari grabbed Kai's face in her tiny palms as their noses almost touched.
Obviously Kai didn't mind that his daughter was touching him or anything. she could literally ask for the stars and kai would try his best to get it for his precious Princess.
"ugh! she is in home right now" kai answered instantly as he softened his tone a little.
"oh!" Hikari-chan slightly frowned but then she understood (O.ò) but surprisingly she liked being like this so she played with him by grabbing his attention. Kai also grabbed her tiny hands, making sure she didn't fall back while hikari-chan was trying to balance herself on Kai's arms with playful smile on her lips.
"home?" tala repeated as his eyeballs almost came out "you already know where she lives in this time" but Kai didn't look at him, his all attention was on hikari but he was replying.
"I don't know" he lied b/c he knew hilary didn't want to reveal their relationship to anyone "just play along with her" he mouthed while playing with hikari-chan and kissing her tiny hands and making her playfully giggle. kai really wanted to tell his teammates about his personal life, like he finally found his love or he was dating, etc etc but he promised Hilary to keep it secret, so definitely he couldn't turn back after giving her words.
"..." if Kai wasn't going to listen, or take their words seriously then there was no use to talk to him.
"what!?" he gave them a single glance and asked tala.
"okay, but what's about today's sched-" before tala could talk to kai.
"papa!?" Hikari-chan interrupted them and grabbed kai's face, making him look at her. as you all know, Hikari-chan was totally an attention-seeker, specially her papa's.
"yes, Hikari" he totally ignored his teammates again and softened his tone while maintaining his character, to be honest, his precious daughter was there, so he cared less about his so-called attitude, actually he didn't give Fs.
"for gawd sake, let me finish" tala sneered out as his forehead nerve twitched.
"Hikari-chan nu knuw what Ojii-sa say!?(Hikari-chan no know what oji-san saying!?)" Hikari-chan said as her head bobbled again as she shook her head (O.O)
"explain her!" kai immediate darted his eyes on tala give an explanation to Hikari.
"wha-" before he could finish, kai narrowed his eyes even more. no more excuses, just play along with my princess.
"I was asking kai, what you likes?!" tala coldly said. he really had very bad experience with kids, he definitely didn't like them. freaking child hater!
"Hikari-chan lie-k isce-crem(Hikari-chan likes ice-cream)" Hikari-chan chirped warmly as she blinked once with giggily smile (ÒuÒ) while others thought 'so cute'
"anyways, please make sure your guys don't call yourselves by your names in front of Hikari-chan. unless you want her to call you by your names in future!" kai gave instructions in his harsh cold tone.
"uh...!"
"and don't mention my name either when you talk to hikari-chan about me!" he said as his pitch grew louder.
"ok!" they sweat-dropped but tala was simply listening as he had nothing to do with hikari-chan, so he wouldn't listen but deep down he was attentive to Kai's every word.
"and also use her name, so my princess wouldn't get confuse" this time they could head the warning in his voice.
"okkk" they sweat-dropped with unease as they hadn't seen Kai's this fatherly protective side.
"And no bitches in suite" that's the last rule. Since kai was paying for extra VIP services, they had no choice but listen to him.
"owww, man!" bryan winced with disappointment "I thought that's why who bought this"
"do you want me to remind you what happened in new york!?" kai narrowed his eyes.
"fine" Bryan rolled his eyes adn then closed them as he had to choice but to accept it.
"do wherever you want but not in this suite when my princess is here" kai said with final breath and then turned back his attention to his Hikari-chan, which she deserved.
"so what's next? we have to wait, right? and she will pulled back in her time tomorrow afternoon!" tala reasoned out he really wanted to get over everything as soon as possible.
"I hope so...let's get back to workout. break time over!" Kai added.
"sure!" Bryan agreed but he still wasn't satisfied b/c niece was still scared of him.
meanwhile...
"hikari, want to workout?" kai asked to his little cinnamon roll.
"YUSS!" Hikari-chan chirped loudly and wrapped her arms around kai into a tight hug, this time she knew what he meant. he wanted to play with her. wait! what?
"let's go!" kai smiled to see his precious daughter to be with him once again. he hugged back as took her for his next session.
Everyone was staring at kai. guess why? Kai was doing sit-ups, so what's so new that they were staring. it's the thing that Hikari-chan was standing over his feets and had tight grip on his knees to maintain balance, so whenever kai pulled up his upper body, his face gets near little Hikari, she lightened up with joy and burst out with giggles. "papa!" She chirped everytime he pulled up she rubbed her nose against his and then wiggled her arms joyfully, releasing her energy. (nヮn)
Kai was also smiling brightly to see hikari's happy face. As somehow he couldn't believe she was actually here with him, once again.
"nine!" kai was counting down till 10 b/c every tenth time.
"TEN!" Hikari-chan jump on Kai, Falling on his chest, hugging him.
"PAPA!" she squealed loudly as she was living for this moment as tightened her grip around her papa.
"haha" kai softly chuckled too which was very rare sight of him for his teammates who was staring them with jolt surprised look.
"man! I highly doubt it's you!" tala mumbled while lifting up 10kg dumbbell with right hand. he was next to wall, far away from Hikari b/c he didn't want to interrupt kai's moments but kai totally ignored his comment.
"PAPA! AGAIN!" Hikari-chan raised her tiny arms again, Asking for more.
"enough Hikari, later" Kai politely told her as he ruffled her silky smooth two toned hair and she also squeezed her eyes, trying to keep her bobbley-head on rest position.
"papa! Hikari-chan thirsssss-ty(papa, Hikari-chan thirsty)" she said as she remembered her mom told her to ask for water whenever she thirsty and felt like her throat dried out.
"I get you something real quick but you have to stay and be good girl" he kissed her forehead and Hikari-chan squeezed her eyelids in response "I just come!" when kai went to get something to drink for Hikari-chan, she went to tala who was also watching her all the time. this little-girl ruled over Kai's senses, how?
"what do you want?" tala asked neutrally but Bryan and Spencer could catch the coldness in his voice. Bryan was slightly jealous that Hikari-chan was only approaching to tala who wasn't appreciating her at all.
"ojii-sa play wi-th hikari-chan!(oji-san play with Hikari-chan!)" Hikari-chan chirped happily n.n as she requested with a big warm smile and flung her tiny arms for him to take her but tala didn't which confused Hikari-chan. he got pissed(not really) that she was actually his niece and her reason for calling him uncle was valid but the actual reason was, he let kai to be his team b/c he thought kai really wanted to beybattle against his friends but if he kept this attitude like he didn't give any f to this whole tournament then was this team and compitition a joke to him? he definitely couldn't think of losing this tournament.
"OJII-SA!" Hikari-chan called him again but more loudly and thought her uncle didn't heard her first but he got pissed even more as he came back to reality. he was actually pissed to know that he couldn't bring himself to hate this innocent little Angel.
Others chuckled every single time whenever she called him uncle. it's funny b/c no one had audacity to call any of them by such these titles. Hikari-chan had no idea of whom she was dealing with.
"go away, I'm busy!" tala turned aside with closed eyes but Hikari-chan didn't give up. she want to play with him. she scanned his actions and the object in his hand. like I told you, she is very practical kid just like kai.
Tala was only using one dumbbell while the other one was lying on the floor.
Both Spencer and bryan stopped their activities to get eye on Hikari-chan b/c the chances of her, hurting herself was very high right now. tala was also watching her from the corner of his eyes.
Hikari-chan read him using the dumbbell, so she decided to copy him. she tried to grab it with one hand like tala but unfortunately it was too heavy for her, so she used both hands. she closed her eyes to excert more pressure, squeezed her lips into a tight seal, her face turned red as she almost lift it by holding vertically. the scene was so intense that it created mental pressure on others too.
"you can do it Hikari!" Bryan determinededly cheered and threw a fist in air.
"Mmm..." Hikari-chan used her all the strength from her every cell of the body and she finally did it but unfortunately, the lower ring loosened and fell on floor which caused Hikari to lost her balance and she got pulled up in air.
"uii!" (O.O) it happened so, sudden that bryan and Spencer couldn't do anything b/c of distance but tala instantly used his reflexes, he leaned in to grab hikari before she hit the floor or dropped that dumbbell on herself. he pulled her in his arms and caught the dumbbell with right one but he was leaning on one side too much that before he could do anything to save himself, his head hit the wall with bang sound while the rest of hit was absorbed by his shoulder.
"hn?" Hikari-chan opened her eyes in one shot and looked up at tala with blink.
"ojii-sa, yuu hult?(oji-san you got hurt?)" Hikari-chan said in her higher and concern tone as soon as her little brain analysed the scene.
"yes! b/c of Hikari" tala curtly hissed with pain. he dropped the dumbbell and use that hand to rub the area where he banged his head.
"oh! solly!(oh! sorry!)" Hikari-chan frowned to heard that she hurt her favourite uncle (ÓnÒ) "Hikari-chan nu wan-t tu hult ojii-sa( Hikari-chan no want to hurt oji-san)" she shook her round bobbley-head as he was trying her best to tell him that she had no intentions to hurt him.
"are you okay?" tala felt guilt so he asked to hikari-chan with concern but he didn't let to show it off.
"YUSS! (n‿n) b-cuj ojii-sa plo-tech-te Hikari-chan, su Hikari-chan nu hult (yes! because oji-san protected Hikari-chan, so Hikari-chan no hurt)" she chirped again with proud.
"ok!" tala held back the tingling feeling, being all cold, rough and tough infront of Hikari, showing that he don't like her at all b/c she kept calling him uncle and also b/c he didn't like kids either.
Tala rubbed the area again where his head banged from the wall.
"ojii-sa, yuu in pai-n!?(oji-san, you are in pain!?)" she asked innocently as she climbed on his arms on eye level and bought her cute-innocent face near to her uncle.
"uh! it's really nothing!" tala genuinely answered in neutral tone, he had no reason to be rude to this innocent soul. he kneel down to bring Hikari on her grounds.
When something came in Hikari-chan mind, she waved her hand like come-come cat does to tala. he got both curious and confused at same time, so went near her and lowed himself at her level.
Hikari-chan blew twice and thrice where tala hit his head and then gently rubbed it with her soft-tiny hands.
"no wolly, ojii-sa pain flu away!(don't worry, oji-san's pain flew away!)" she smiled genuinely with purely cute baby voice (n.n)
Tala was trying his best not to smile, his lips were dying to curled up as his cheek muscle's were twitching b/c of the war between his ego and genuine emotions.
"man! you are cracking your so-called character!" Bryan commented to tala with grin and he had nothing to defend either.
"I'm alright! I'm totally alright!" he said while his heart was filled with hikari's cuteness and fluffiness. he really didn't mind her calling uncle either. there was one way to get away from this situation, it's actually he thought to run away but the moment he stood up and lead his first steps, Hikari-chan directly thought her uncle was going to leave her, so she immediately grabbed his two fingers in her one hand for stopping him on his tracks. his hands were the only thing she could reach for from her height.
"OJII-SA! HIKARI-CHAN WAN-T TU PLAY WI-TH OJII-SA" she warmly chirped with another pure open mouth smile (nヮn) as her face turned red with happiness and he felt a tingling feeling as his chest tightened from her innocence and cuteness.
"uhh! ok" tala felt unease as even his ego denied to be rude to this little-girl as Hikari-chan stabbed his conscience with hundreds of daggers.
"YEEEYEEEE!!! OJII-SA!!(yeeyeee! oji-san!!)" when tala's words reached into her cute small ears, she bubbled out with happiness,her uncle was finally going to play with her. (nヮn)
"So cute!" finally tala gave up on his attitude as the heat waves were coming out of his head and he tried to cover his face with right hand b/c Hikari was holding the left one with her tiny fingers. he had no guts to draw back his two fingers from her grip.
Now, we could officially announced that tala was genuinely got attached to hikari-chan.
"hikari, I'm hurt too!" Bryan tried to get close to his niece too but Hikari-chan got scared and stucked more to tala. she hid behind his leg again while holding his hand and almost buried her face in his calf but looking at Bryan with one eye.
When tala noticed her fear he immediately bought her in his arms "nothing's wrong! they wouldn't hurt you!" he said as his tone automatically softened "they are my friends"
"re-yali?(really?)" Hikari-chan looked up at tala as her head bobbled with surprised expression as her big amethyst eyes got bigger as she widened her eyes.
"yes!" he answered with genuine smile on Hikari's wholesome response.
"hellu, me Hikari-chan!" Hikari immediately introduced herself to them with big warm smile n.n
"hello Hikari. my name is bryan and I'm your oji-san too!" he said in basic Japanese as much as he knew.
"yuu ojii-sa tuu?" she gave the same expression but this time it was more like she denied to accept it with pure confusion.
"yes" bryan and Spencer got amused to see this fluffy ball of cuteness. no wonder, she was Kai's princess.
"hellu, ojii-sa!" she chirped happily with another giggle. Bryan opened his arms for her, so Hikari-chan could finally come to him and she did.
And now, somehow tala didn't like that she was calling someone else's by his given title.
"what's happening?" kai came back with some juice cans and an orange juice bottle.
"why are you running out of breath!?" tala asked as he saw kai was sweating like he had run a marathon.
"what happened?" bryan asked to kai as he bought his attention from sunshine to sunshine protector.
"attacked by groupies!" he said as caught back his breath.
"oh! that might be real pain" tala winced at him with I'm done look.
"PAPA!" Hikari-chan chirped energetically as she turned her bobbley-head head to look at him.
"here's your drink, Hikari-chan" kai came to hikari-chan who was still in Bryan's arms and gave her the orange juice after opening the cap. he sighed Bryan to make sure she didn't spilled her juice on herself.
"YEEEYYEE!" n.n she cheered while kai drank his cold coffee.

"GOU!" Hilary called him as she ran to hug him.
"MOM!" gou called as he saw hilary after a week according to his time but it was one and half year for hilary "you changed so much!" he said as they looked back again.
"WHO IS HE!?" Tsuki demanded for a solid answer as she interrupted their quality moment together.
Oops! she saw gou, now what Hilary would explain to her favorite cousin. she definitely couldn't say he was her son, so what excuse she would made? and don't forget gou had very crooked mind. OH BOI! he would definitely annoy his AUNTY!
