A few days passed. It was a rainy day. Hope woke up from a nightmare. Trudy heard her whimpering and came into her room.

"It's okay sweetheart," she said, "It was just a bad dream."

"Mommy," Hope said, "I'm scared for Caroline."

"I know," Trudy said stroking Hope's hair, "You know, I had the same thing when I was a little older than Caroline. I was perfect. I bet Caroline will be perfect too."

"Can I see her?"

"I wish you could," Trudy said gently, "But she's too sick. If you see her you might get her sick. Nobody can see her."

"Not even her mommy and daddy?" Hope asked.

"They can," Trudy said, "But even they can't come into her room."

"Can I talk to her on the phone?"

"I think she'd love that," Trudy said

"Okay," Mitch said to Marsha, "This is going to be cold."

Marsha laughed. She was getting her first ultrasound. She could remember when she was pregnant with Trudy. The memories came flooding back to her.

"Baby looks perfect," Mitch said smiling.

"Thank you, Dr. Decker," Dwight said, "I know this isn't normally what you do but you saved Trudy and we trust you 100%."

"I do a little of everything," Mitch replied, "Believe me, I'm happy to do this."

He paused and then asked, "How is Trudy anyway?"

"She's doing great," Marsha said, "She and Adrian are adopting twin girls from the orphanage. They are our grand-daughter's friends."

Mitch couldn't help but smile.

"So," he said, "How are you feeling?"

"A lot of morning sickness," Marsha admitted.

"Try mints," Mitch said, "Also crackers help too."

"Thanks," Marsha said, "I'll try that."

Mitch wiped the gel off of her.

"Did they choose a name for the baby yet," Mitch asked.

"Faith Mollie for a girl," Marsha replied, "and Bryan Matthew for a boy."

"Beautiful choices," Mitch said.

"Hey Monk," Leland said.

"Hi," Adrian replied, "Hope wants Caroline to have this."

He handed Leland Bunny.

"That's so sweet," Leland said.

"Don't worry," Adrian said, "I washed and sterilized it."
