Sokolov: Sooo... It seems that the Tailor is over.. there!
.
Our obsidian fairy points at a building that looks like a shop. the place itself has a few signs and it seems to have a few assortment of clothing on display. Sokolov opened the door and sees a man measuring a kimono with a measuring tape. The man wears round glasses with black hair and black mustache and wears a blue shirt with a red vest and wears jeans with black shoes. The man turns to her.
.
?: Oh! Hello there. Are you here for the pink dress?
.
Sokolov: Huh? No, I'm here to deliver pizza to a Mr. Fuku.
.
Mr. Fuku: Oh, that would be me. Hold on..
.
Mr. Fuku reached into his pocket and pulled out some Yen.
.
Sokolov: Oh, thanks. Here you go.
.
Mr. Fuku: No, thank you. Oh, If you need a wardrobe makeover, you let me know.
.
Sokolov checked her black and white dress and purple shoes for a moment.
.
Sokolov: Eh, maybe later.
.
Sokolov (In her mind): Maybe I do need new clothes.
.
Our obsidian fairy walked back to the pizzeria and gave Alfreda the money.
.
Alfreda: Oh, that didn't take long.
.
Sokolov: Yeah I kinda want to finish it because I've been working all day.
.
Another fairy walked by. She has a reddish pink hair with the same clothes as the other fairies (excluding Alfreda's).
.
?: I know that feeling.
.
Alfreda: Oh shush, Strawberry.
.
Sokolov: Not to mention that it was a simple task too.
.
Alfreda: Hmm... Maybe I need one more favor from you.
.
Sokolov: What would that be?
.
Alfreda: Well..It's just that I have two workers delivering pizza somewhere and they haven't came back. I was hoping you could find them for me, please.
.
Sokolov: Sure! Where were they last?
.
Alfreda: I guess you can start with their delivery location. It's over at this house next to the tavern.
.
The bubble fairy gave Sokolov a note with directions on where to go.
.
Alfreda: Just find them, let them know and come back here.
.
Sokolov: So, who are these two?
.
Alfreda: One is named Duncan. He's a scrawny human with brown hair. Same clothes as these other workers, so I think that'll help finding them. The other is Pam. She's a black cat youkai, very tall too and same clothing too but at this point, you'd probably would've guessed by now.
.
Sokolov: Thank you for the information. I will be off.
.
Sokolov rushed out the door.
.
Chocolate: Hmm, I just realized you two are nearly the same size.
.
Alfreda: Where did this come from?
.
Chocolate: I don't know.
.
Meanwhile, our obsidian fairy made it to the location. She studied the location and her notes to make sure she was in the right place and knocked on the door. A man came out.
.
Man: Can I help you?
.
Sokolov: Hi, yes. I'm just asking if you've seen a guy and a cat youkai around?
.
Man: Hmm, I do remember two such individuals delivering me pizza that does match the description.
.
Sokolov: Do you know where they went?
.
Man: Yeah at the tavern nearby. I think the youkai saw something of interest because she said something about fresh brewed coffee. There is a sign there mentioning it so yeah.
.
Sokolov: Okay. Thanks sir!
.
Sokolov headed to the tavern. Inside was somewhat homey with smooth wooden walls and floor, warm temperature and nice music in the background. tables with chairs are neatly organized with a long table with stools in the back wall. behind it was a man wearing glasses and a gray mustache cleaning a glass.
.
?: Hello young lady. My name is Fredrick Von Biermann. What can I get for ya.
.
Sokolov: Oh, um. Have you seen a human and a youkai in here? I heard they came in here for coffee or something.
.
Fredrick: Hmm..Let's see. Leeeet's see...
.
?: Hey! Little fairy!
.
Sokolov turned to a trio of farmers staring at her. they walked close to her and the bartender.
.
Sokolov: Yeah?
.
?: We don't take kindly to your types around here.
.
Fredrick: Now Chris, she ain't hurting nobody.
.
Chris: No! I wanna know. How come you fairies fly around with your crazy wings and such?
.
Sokolov: ...Huh?
.
Fredrick: Now I don't vant any trouble.
.
Sokolov: Uhh I kinda just fly...I don't know how to respond to your question sir.
.
Fredrick: Hmm, now that I think about it, I did see an odd pair. It was something like this-
.
?: Hey Pam? Why are we going here? Should we like head back or something?
.
Pam: Relax Duncan. I just want that coffee on the sign outside.
.
Fredrick: Hello there-
.
Pam: Alright, let's get straight to it. I want that black forest coffee from the sign.
.
Fredrick: Ah a coffee enthusiast. Alright then.
.
The bartender grabbed a cup and prepared a machine. Meanwhile, three farmers walked up to the duo and Fredrick.
.
Chris: Hey! Cat lady!
.
Pam: What?
.
Chris: We don't take kindly to your types around here!
.
Fredrick: Now Chris, she ain't hurting nobody.
.
Chris: No! I wanna know. How come you cats got those ears and tails and such!?
.
Duncan: Umm...What?
.
Chris: And we don't take kindly to your friend here too.
.
Fredrick: Now I don't want any trouble.
.
Pam: Yeah whatever.
.
?: Now we don't take kindly to folks who ignore us.
.
Chris: Yeah that's right Cris.
.
Fredrick: Here's your coffee ma'am.
.
Pam: Thanks.
.
Pam handed out some Yen to the bartender as she got up.
.
Duncan: So we're heading back now?
.
Pam: Not yet. You did promise me a small fishing trip to Misty Lake.
.
Duncan: Ah...Right. Haha, I did forgot.
.
Pam: Let's go!
.
The duo leaves as the three farmers started pouting.
.
Cris: Can't believe they ignored us.
.
?: Whoa! Look guys. a beautiful lady!
.
Chris: Where at, Kris?
.
Kris: There!
.
They saw a gorgeous woman sat down.
.
Chris: Hey! Beautiful lady!
.
Lady: Yes?
.
Chris: We don't take kindly to your types around here!
.
Fredrick: Now Chris, she ain't hurting nobody.
.
Fredrick: And zhat's the last I saw them.
.
Sokolov: Of course! I might've passed them earlier then if it was earlier. It had to be Misty Lake.
.
Chris: We don't take kindly to misty lakes around here.
.
Sokolov: Well I don't take kindly you guys around here.
.
Kris: We don't take kindly to people who don't take kindly around here.
.
The trio paused and looked at each other in confusion.
.
Sokolov: well anyways, thank you sir and have a good day.
.
Sokolov left the bar.
.
Chris: Hey! We don't take kindly to people who have a good day around here!
.
Fredrick: Shut the hell up Chris.
.
Sokolov: I think I remember seeing some people at the lake earlier.
.
Suddenly, voices were heard in the distance. Our obsidian fairy took a turn away from the road until she sees a duo. One was a human with brown hair, blue eyes and wore similar clothes that the other fairies wore in the pizza place. He seemed to be talking to his friend next to him. The friend is really tall with black hair, golden yellow eyes and matching outfit. She also has ears that resemble a cat's ear and even a black tail. The two apparently are talking about someone.
.
?: Haven't you notice that Nitori keeps bothering us about work?
.
?: Sounds like she's asking for workers for her scientific experiments.
.
?: Experiments?
.
?: You know, typical kappa stuff.
.
Sokolov: (To herself): Nitori? I do recall some commotion at the Kappa Village a while ago. Maybe Marisa knows her.
.
Suddenly, a hand grasped Sokolov and pulled her out of her hiding spot. She sees the duo staring at her.
.
?: Alright! The jig is up. Thought you could prank us?
.
Sokolov: Huh? Wait! Nononononono, I wasn't gonna...Um Alfreda!
.
?: Wait? Alfreda?
.
Sokolov: You guys are Pam and Duncan, right? I was tasked to find you two! Now please don't hurt me.
.
Pam sighs as she lets go of Sokolov.
.
Duncan: I guess w-we kinda took a really long break.
.
Pam: I guess...So fairy. You a new employee?
.
Sokolov: Huh? N-No. I'm a scientist in training.
.
Duncan: Huh? So you're just helping us?
.
Sokolov: Basically. Alfreda needed a lot of help and I wanted to help.
.
Pam: That's really nice of you to do that miss...
.
Sokolov: Sokolov.
.
Pam: -Sokolov.
.
Duncan: Weird clothes though? Are you a maid?
.
Sokolov: No, I'm from the Youkai Forest.
.
Pam: Ah, a fellow resident...well, former resident.
.
Duncan: Sorry about that Miss Sokolov. I bet you get that a lot.
.
Sokolov (In a depressed tone): You have no idea...
.
Pam: Well would you like a new set of clothes?
.
Duncan: Yeah, I mean since you came all this way to find us and help out Alfreda, we would be more than happy to repay you. I know a guy who is great at clothes.
.
Sokolov: The Tailor?
.
Duncan: Yeah! That's him!
.
Sokolov: Well...
.
Sokolov again observed her clothes.
.
Sokolov: Alright. I think I need a new set.
.
Duncan: Yay!
.
.
