Duncan: Alright. This way!

.

The trio made it to the tailor's shop.

.

Sokolov: I actually delivered pizza here earlier.

.

Pam: Ah, so that's your first task. You did mention it earlier but didn't know where.

.

Duncan: So you know the tailor then? He's pretty great. He once helped make these uniforms and he also made clothes for Alfreda once when she got weird with Cirno.

.

Pam: Oh yeah! Wasn't she and The Bean attempted to fix Rumia when she spoke in two voices?

.

Duncan: I think so.

.

Sokolov: I'm sorry. You lost me at bean.

.

Duncan: Hehe..It was a weird adventure.

.

Sokolov: Wait! I just realized. You mentioned Cirno. Do you two know her?

.

Pam: Yeah. She used to work with us, until she got bored and quit. That and she also tried to introduce "Ice Pizza". I'm guessing you two met?

.

Sokolov: Yeah...and fought..

.

Duncan: Oh! I hope she's okay, assuming you won the fight?

.

Sokolov: Nono, I wasn't going to critically hurt her or kill her but I think she's alright.

.

Pam: It's fine if you rough her up. Besides, aren't you girls immortal or something?

.

Sokolov: Oh yeah.

.

Pam: Anyways, we should go inside.

.

Duncan: Oh right. I just like talking to new friends. Don't want to keep Alfreda waiting.

.

Pam: You are too innocent.

.

They entered the shop and was immediately greeted by the tailor.

.

Duncan: Hello Mr. Fuku! We're back.

.

Mr. Fuku: Ah, you must be here for the dress.

.

Pam: No we're not here for that dress...again. We're here to give our friend here a new set of clothes.

.

Sokolov: Hello again, sir.

.

Mr Fuku:...Oh! You again. So, you've decided to get a new set?

.

Sokolov: Yeah, I finally decided. Uh, how much would this cost?

.

Mr. Fuku: Considering you went all this way to deliver me some pizza and since you're friends with these two, I'd say it's on the house.

.

Sokolov: Oh! Cool!

.

Mr. Fuku: Now, first off I need measurements. Bare with me because it'll be a moment.

.

The tailor took his time on measuring every aspect of Sokolov's body and immediately got to work on a dress.

.

Mr. Fuku: You fellas may need to come back in a little bit. Takes about a few days or so, plus I also got other projects too.

.

Sokolov: That's alright! Plus, it is getting late anyways and I don't want to stay here after closing. I'm sure you appreciate that we leave you to it.

.

Mr. Fuku: Indeed but you are also very kind. I'll be seeing ya.

.

Duncan: Bye!

.

The trio left and took a glance at the sunset. The glowing horizon made Sokolov smile warmly.

.

Sokolov: Heh, I've rarely seen the sun set like this before. I usually witness it with the tall trees blocking most of it.

.

Pam: Wait until you see the sunrise.

.

Sokolov: Heh, sounds wonderful. I can picture it, eating tree sap while watching it...Oh! I almost forgot about my task!

.

Pam: Huh?

.

Sokolov: Yeah, That was the reason I went to your pizzeria in the first place. I needed to borrow some pizza.

.

Pam: I'm just gonna repeat myself. Huh?

.

Sokolov: My master tasked me to send a message, borrow a book and borrow pizza for her.

.

Duncan: How does someone borrow pizza?

.

?: There you two are!

.

The trio jumped as Alfreda marched her way to them. They can see the irritation on her face.

.

Alfreda: Where were you two at?!

.

Duncan: Uhh... UHH. We. Uhh, well...I-I-It..

.

Pam: We kinda goofed off. We went to Misty lake to fish and lost track of time.

.

Alfreda: You know what? I don't care what you two were doing and where you two were making out..I'm just glad you two are safe.

.

Duncan: Oh, thanks...Wait?

.

Alfreda: Hmm..? Oh! Thank you for the help miss. I'm sure you deserve a reward after all you dealt with.

.

Sokolov: Yeah but really I just need to borrow some of your pizza for my master.

.

Alfreda: Huh? That's a strange request unless you're just referring to just wanting to eat pizza?

.

Sokolov: I guess so. My master did say she needed it.

.

Pam: No offense but your master is weird.

.

Alfreda: Sounds like Nitori. She's a weirdo.

.

Sokolov: Actually, her name is Marisa. She's an ordinary magician.

.

Pam: Pfft!

.

Alfreda: That scumbag?

.

Pam: Ordinary my ass.

.

Sokolov: Huh?

.

Duncan: Sorry about these two. We've had a bad history with Marisa...Well, I think everyone has. She criticized our abilities, tried to steal pizza and almost ate The Bean one time.

.

Sokolov: Wait? Are we talking about the same Marisa?

.

Alfreda: Black and white clothes, witch hat and broom? Yep. And she seems to be scamming you, or at least manipulating you to steal stuff from people.

.

Sokolov: I...I don't know how to feel about this.

.

Pam: It's okay to take your time to process this.

.

Sokolov: I feel betrayed, yet I kinda don't believe it.

.

?: It's true!

.

Everyone turns around to see Patchouli walk up to the group.

.

Alfreda: M-Miss Patchouli?

.

Sokolov: Oh! Hello again.

.

Patchouli: I'm glad to have finally caught up with you so I can warn you about Marisa.

.

Sokolov: Wait? You know Marisa?! Wait. That should be obvious since you two are magicians.

.

Patchouli: Yeah but Marisa is nothing more than a thief. I would really recommend you to stay away from her.

.

Pam: Yeah, she's bad news.

.

Patchouli: Do I need to give you proof?

.

Sokolov: No..No it's alright. Thank you for this information.

.

Duncan: What are you going to do now?

.

Sokolov: Well, I'm going to get answers.

.

Patchouli: I see. Good luck with that.

.

Sokolov: Thanks.

.

Sokolov flew high above the Forest of Magic to find Marisa's house. She spotted it but before she could advance, she was shot by a shard of ice. She winced in pain but thankfully, the injury was minor as she got small cuts on her shoulder.

.

Cirno: Hah! Finally caught up! Think you can escape me!? Well, too bad!

.

Sokolov: Can you stop shouting?

.

Cirno: No! Now, how about a real fight to the death.

.

Sokolov: No.

.

Cirno: ...What? No? No! I won't take 'no' for an answer.

.

Sokolov: I know you won't take no for an answer but please not now. I'm going to have a talk with someone.

.

Cirno: Who?

.

Our obsidian fairy points to Marisa's house.

.

Cirno: Who lives there?

.

Sokolov: Marisa.

.

Cirno: ...Oh! Her. Yeah she's fun to play but is also kinda mean sometimes. That and she's friends with the Three Fairies of Light and I don't care about those three sometimes. Then again, I also don't care much about other fairies...wait, no. Dai is alright. Clown fairy's kind of a bother and Eternity's a meh. Hmm...now I'm confused.

.

Sokolov: Ow. My head. Thanks for confusing me too.

.

Cirno: Anytime!

.

Sokolov rolled her eyes and flew up to the house. Cirno follows suit.

.

Sokolov: Why are you following me?

.

Cirno: Because I'm bored now, especially since you won't fight me now.

.

Sokolov: I see.

.

Our obsidian fairy knocked on the door...No response. She knocked again but this time there were sounds coming from inside. Before Sokolov could knock, the door opened and Marisa walked out looking annoyed.

.

Marisa: What!

.

Sokolov: I don't know If you remember me but I was the obsidian fairy that gave you a shard and also went out to do stuff for you.

.

Marisa: ...Oh! Now I remember!

.

Sokolov: Good. Now can I ask? Why did you send me to go do all that stuff, like stealing a book or buying pizza for you?

.

Marisa: Stealing? Not sure what kind of word is that and why you would say something like that?

.

Sokolov: Miss, I'm very sure your vocabulary is pretty big.

.

Cirno: Didn't you tell Sunny Milk about the difference between stealing and borrowing?

.

Sokolov: Ah, so you do know about the word.

.

Marisa: *Sighs* And I thought you fairies were simple-minded, especially the ice fairy.

.

Cirno: Your darn right I'm smart!

.

Sokolov: It's you're, not your.

.

Cirno: Huh?

.

Sokolov: Wait, how do I know the difference? Nevermind, why tasked me to go do and get stuff, even if it's stealing? I don't even think it has anything to do with Scientist stuff or magician stuff or both even.

.

Marisa: See, that's where you're wrong my dear friend ze~

.

Marisa posed like she's the smartest person in Gensokyo.

.

Marisa: You see, a good Scientist or magician has to go out into whatever land she can find to gather resources like food, ingredients, books and much more.

.

Sokolov: Oh I get it now.

.

Marisa: See! I knew you'd catch on quick.

.

Sokolov: But why tell someone you stole something, steal a book and even pizza?

.

Marisa: First off, It was an apology. Second off, I wasn't stealing those. I was borrowing them.

.

Sokolov: Everyone else said you steal stuff, not borrow them.

.

Cirno: Yeah! You even stole ideas too! Even my cool attack!

.

Sokolov: Yeah ex-Wait? She stole your attack? Now that's mean.

.

Marisa: Oh come on. I'm a human you know? Meaning I'll live for a little bit then kick the bucket. Seriously, you can get your stuff back when I die. It's as simple as that ze~

.

Sokolov: Sure but I don't want to associate with this anymore.

.

Marisa: Even though my lesson is true.

.

Sokolov: I guess but I won't be your apprentice anymore. It feels wrong to do this stuff, so I'm gonna leave.

.

Marisa: That's fine. Just so you know, I won't be too friendly when you come back here.

.

Sokolov: I'm fine with that. Good day.

.

Our obsidian fairy walked away from Marisa and started flying. Cirno followed suit.

.

Marisa: Pfft, whatever.

.

Marisa goes back inside her house.

.

Marisa: I still have this piece of obsidian right here...not sure what to do with it. Wait a minute! She has that book I need!

.

Meanwhile outside, a black-haired girl with a little red hat on jumped out of a bush. She wore a white dress with a multi-colored skirt. In her hand is a notebook with a pen.

.

?: Oh my, what a juicy story

.

The girl flew away from the area.
