Clell could barely keep his own thoughts in check. His mind was spinning like a giant top.

"Ugh. I don't know what they're even talking about to begin with." Clell muttered to himself while rubbing his temples. "I'm just worried about Erza. She's my teammate. What do they expect? For me to just throw her aside like garbage?" Clell asked himself before throwing the thought aside.

They were simply worried about Erza. Everyone would be, she was one of their best warriors. They were also worried about their friend.

"Just because I care about Erza?" Clell asked himself and let out a sigh. "It doesn't really mean I'm infatuated with her." Clell added before he heard a noise.

It was a soft noise; one he couldn't easily figure out. Clell spun his blades and turned.

"Someone there?" Clell asked the darkness. He got no answer from the shadows. "I cannot believe there's anything here." Clell stated to himself before he heard more noises.

They were the sound of rifles being cocked. It made Clell raise there were people in the area… No, there were soldiers, and he was getting surrounded.

"Surrender now!" He heard from the shadows and looked around. "This is the Gyanveer army!" Clell heard from the soldiers in the shadows.

Clell blinked as he realized slowly that the reason the thieves left? Wasn't just because of the S ranked warriors among them.

It was also partly because they had soldiers creeping up on them. Clell counted at least a few dozen if not a hundred.

"Surrender or we will open fire!" One of the soldiers yelled at Clell as he blinked. "You are on Gyanveer land! State your business or be executed!" Clell heard another soldier shout at him.

Clell sighed and looked to the side. He was starting to look for what his options are. Clell let out a hum while cracking his neck.

Clell didn't know what to do. Clell also knew for a fact that his allies might not come. He slowly stood down and cracked his neck.

"What do you want?" Clell asked and raised an eyebrow and cracked his neck. "We just want to talk to the leader of your kingdom. That's just what we came here to do!" Clell added as the soldiers started to press in.

"I said stand down or we're execute you on the spot!" Clell heard before a noise occurred. Clell looked and saw smoke coming from the woods.

Clell took it as a sign to run while he rushed into the woods. He knew for a fact that the soldiers would come. Clell ducked under a tree and looked backwards. Clell noted the dozens of the troops were busy sweeping through the burning woods.

Clell slowly snuck away. It was easy to take quiet steps. Clell had done it for a long time anyway.

Clell looked over his shoulder one last time and vanished into the woods.

"Why the hell would there be soldiers this far out?" Clell questioned himself before vanishing the thought.

It wasn't important. Clell knew the soldiers would come back and check the area. Clell didn't want to be in the area when they came back.

Clell slowly started to dig through the dirt. Even if he had to crawl a meter at a time? He'd slowly get back towards the camp.

"I can't believe that there are soldiers trying to dig around here." Clell muttered to himself and sighed. "Then again? We are on their land. There will be more soldiers all around this area soon. Hopefully those thieves keep them busy for a bit." Clell stated to himself while letting out a clearing of his throat.

Clell stood up. He didn't hear the crack of guns yet, but he knew they'd come. The soldiers were well trained to have gotten so close to him.

Then again? They could easily have encircled the camp entirely. Clell didn't want to fight the rest of the soldiers if they came in to attack the group.

Clell shook his head. He wondered if Grey or one of the other groups heard. They would probably have the camp on high alert. Clell started to run through the forests.

"Damn it all, damn it all…" Clell muttered to himself and slid next to a tree. He finally started to hear the sounds of guns going off.

A battle. They had either spotted soldiers, or they had found something worth fighting. Clell hoped the battle would end up being enough of a distraction. The soldiers seemed keen on shooting to kill him. They ended up ripping up the forest from what he saw.

Clell looked over his shoulder once more. Clell didn't think he had ever looked over his shoulder so much.

Clell called for Grey and Lucy as fires raged.
