Chapter 43: Onwards, to the beach!

~Thursday Evening –At the living room at the Garden-~

Everyone is gathered at the living room as they have a brief meeting for tomorrow "Alright finally tomorrow is the day that we have been waiting for!" Aichi is standing up in front of everyone as they all cheers for tomorrow "Tomorrow I, Kai-kun, Miwa-kun, Misaki-san, and Kamui-kun will be heading out first as we will be joining the ones at the Card Capital to lessen the head count for the vehicle you all will be using. We will meet up there at the beach, also the reason why we will be heading out first is to pick up Emi."

"Everyone please listen to Shokudaikiri as he is my chosen attendant, also I hope everyone will like this present that I made for everyone." Kiyomitsu, Yasusada, and Yagen each brought a box and drop it on the floor "These swimwear has names written on each of the pants and jacket so that you won't mistake them for the other, I hope you guys will like it despite the simple design."

Aichi took a pair from the top of the box "I actually took the idea from one of my clothes, I examined it and used it as base to make them so I can have an idea." He said as he showed his clothes to everyone as he gestured them to look for their pairs in the box. To be honest they were all actually happy that were the same as Aichi's

Kiyomitsu, Yasusada, and Yagen helped out in handling and searching for the pair of swimwear as they immediately saw it they all say their thanks to Aichi.

But then realization hits them "Wait, when did you have time to make these?" Shokudaikiri asked.

Aichi slumped on the ground he knew that this time would come as Kiyomitsu, Yasusada, and Yagen keeps their silence while Mikazuki simply watches what he will do.

He knew he can't lie since it will make things worse "I… uhm… I" he doesn't even know where to start as he fiddles with his fingers finding the right words as they all wait for him "I was busy the whole day so the only time that I can make these are night and very late night."

He noticed the various emotions that they wore some are sad, some are worried, and some which surprised him were somewhat annoyed "I really didn't think it would cause me to get a flu, so I thought maybe that my body was just that not used to being this kind of busy…" Aichi scratched his cheeks while he tries to explain himself "I'm sorry for worrying you" He bowed his head.

They all sighed upon hearing his explanation "As long as it's not that bad and since you made this for us, well as we always do, we will treasure them." Shokudaikiri came forward to pat Aichi's head that gave a smile to his face.

Aichi was actually waiting for the toudans to either scold him or something but it seems that they didn't further the topic, he thought that maybe it was because he apologized that it was all they need. "I'm sorry." He apologized once again.

Aichi did not understand the reason why they didn't push this conversation, which he was expecting that they will feel reluctant on going but he felt thankful they didn't but was still curious, little did he know that for the toudans it was because they felt how they were really loved by their current master, that he would even dare risk his health just to make these for them.

When Mina noticed the atmosphere has calmed down and didn't further it anymore she stood up and started speaking "Alright, I ask everyone here to cooperate." Mina paused as she knows this will be hard for them "To not speak Aichi-kun's name without any honorific." As the whole room's atmosphere grew cold.

Hasebe is most especially affected by this "B-but…!" Mina raised a hand to stop Hasebe from further speaking which they tried to do so to as Tsurumaru and Mutsunokami hold him down.

"This is just for the whole trip, this is not permanent." Mina instructed trying to calm him down "If you really can't then maybe use a other formal honorific like –san…" but then Mina realized that it will still cause a problem for the others.

"It will be fine for the Tantous, Uchigatanas and us Wakizashi but on the case of the Tachis and Ootachi it may be somewhat…" Horikawa said as he looked at them, looking at their stature they would be older than Aichi which would be like they were just really polite.

"Then call him just Aichi or like how I call Aichi-kun." Hasebe's world crumbled at what Mina-said "Then would you prefer to call him in his last name then?" Hasebe's soul seems to be sipping out as Taroutachi got hold of it and tries to block it from further going.

"This is a small sacrifice for the trip, c'mon guys…" Mina felt like this would really end up badly as everyone seems to be unwilling with the exemption from Kiyomitsu.

"I guess I will be the only who can survive the whole trip then." Kiyomitsu grinned as he is used to calling him only Aichi.

All the toudans look at him "HOW!" Hasebe regains consciousness and was able to break free from the three as he closes in to Kiyomitsu.

"It depends on you, in my case I used to live with Aichi before in his home with his Shizuka-san Aichi's mom and Emi." Kiyomitsu grinned as he didn't use an honorific which surprised and amazed them.

"You are already starting…" Taroutachi spoke as he himself is thinking about it.

"Of course, I should get a head start so I can get myself used to it again, right Aichi." Kiyomitsu placed a hand on Aichi's shoulder.

"He is doing this on purpose…" Yasusada says which Yagen agreed to.

"But I agree as it will be hard for us. Since Kashuu used to live there for a while he is used to calling him in his first name there." Yagen said which made the others in deep thought.

"Well… just try and collect yourself before tomorrow. Alright everyone have a good night sleep and let us prepare for tomorrow's trip!" Mina cheered everyone up as they all got their energy back with the exception of Hasebe.

~Hallways~

Everyone was now in their respective room while the Tantous decided to sleep altogether.

Aichi knew that Mikazuki has been cold to him these past days and he wants to know why, while walking down the hallways Aichi tries his best to locate where Mikazuki currently is talk to him.

And as he saw him Mikazuki doesn't have his normal smile that he always wore, it pained Aichi as he calls out to him "Mikazuki…"

Mikazuki only bowed his head slightly as he started to step and leave the area "Mikazuki wait!" Mikazuki stops "Can we please talk."

~Garden~

"Is there something that you want?" Mikazuki asks as Aichi noticed that his expression was that of yes normal but he was not smiling and continues to look at the distance.

Usually when he comes to meet him or talk to him he always wear his warm smile but now it's devoid of it "Mikazuki… do you hate me?"

He sighs "I would be lying if I am not, am I." Mikazuki started as Aichi felt pained more and more "But I wouldn't say that it was hate, more like I was just not pleased at what happened." Aichi gazed at Mikazuki though he was looking at a distance.

"Aichi-sama…" Mikazuki started as Aichi listens intently to what he would say next "I was to be honest I was really worried about what happened to you, me being able to have this curious bond with you as if I was with you the whole time before I was summoned, somehow I felt terrified when I found out you collapsed." Mikazuki's expression saddened.

"Somehow I felt what they are feeling, that they fear of losing you, I know it was not serious as it was just a flu, but you see, just what if… what if it just seems like a normal flu but it really wasn't." they met eyes.

"I was not pleased that you were that stubborn as if you did not fully understand our feelings for you." Mikazuki frowned "Did you know why they didn't push that conversation about you sewing those clothes for them?" Mikazuki asked and noticing Aichi's expression without the need to read his real feelings he knew the answer.

"I see you did not know, the answer is that because they felt your love for them that you would be risking even your health just for the simplest things and decided to treasure them and make the most out of this trip, those kinds of things made their hearts warmer. Something that they normally didn't know and do nor can they obtain being just a sword but now with a body like this they can." Mikazuki finally smiles "We are happy for those simplest of things, Aichi-sama…"

Aichi subconsciously let his tears fall "We are but just swords but you treat us more than that, so I just wanted to tell you that it is not bad to do this kind of things but please be careful, especially for the ones that knew your suffering the most." Mikazuki embraces Aichi to calm him Mikazuki meant the ones who saw him almost at deaths door.

"They will be worried more you know with just this simple things, keep it into a minimum." Mikazuki chuckled "I can feel the heavy atmosphere they have, I am sure the others too."

"But I won't let this slide though, as I am still not very pleased about what you did." Mikazuki's eyebrows met with each other as Aichi was surprised at this side of Mikazuki, that he does know how to get angry.

"So please stop scaring us… please." Mikazuki still has Aichi in his arms as Aichi was in his embrace not letting go either.

Mikazuki wipes off the tears from Aichi's face as they finished their talk the two talk about other stuff, such as how did Mina and the others come to know, and their plans for tomorrow.

~Friday Morning~

"Alright everything is placed in the Vehicle!" Shokudaikiri shouted as they finished, everyone cheered that their first obstacle has ended.

Mina is waiting outside while they packed things since Aichi and the others has already left this morning, in her hand talismans imbued with Aichi's divine powers with her talisman along for a barrier so that the burden is not just on Aichi.

Hearing that everything is now in preparation Mina readies the barrier as they all ride the minibus one by one.

As the driver started the engine everyone were all amazed that they were actually riding in one of the vehicles of this era.

"It's sad that Aichi-sama won't be riding with us." Imanotsurugi said as he looks out the window while everyone agreed as they too look at the window beside them as they started moving.

When they started moving out, they were all looking at the windows as they were all thrilled at what they were seeing, especially those that haven't gotten out yet.

"There are so many tall buildings!" Hakata continues to stare one by one all the buildings he could see in sight "I wonder how much money they can make in a day!"

"Everyone! Please stay put don't move too much." Mina sweat drop as he noticed that some stands up and look at the other direction on the other hand Konnosuke silently sleeps beside Mina.

~Finally at the beach!~

Aichi and the Card Capital gang were the first to come while they were mesmerized at the sea they didn't notice the fact that the toudans finally arrived.

"I see so this is the sea, how brilliant." A voice said followed by a laugh.

Snapping back by the voice they all turned around to see who the owner of the voice is, only to see a Mikazuki behind Aichi.

"Mi-Mikazuki!?" Misaki, Miwa, and Aichi spoke his name in surprise as they noticed a swarming toudans heading for the concrete barriers.

"Hey! Don't just run!" Mina scolded as she hurriedly came out the minibus.

And forgetting the fact that they have to try and not call Aichi with an honorific "Aichi-sama! Aichi-sama! Is that the sea?!" Imanotsurugi took Aichi's arm as Midare holds onto the other while Gokotai and Hakata follow.

"Aichi-sama is that where we are going?!" Midare said as he tries to jump to the concrete.

Thankfully Yagen was already there as he stops Midare "Hey, stop giving him troubles." As Yagen can't help but not call his name he just referred Aichi as him and then muttered "Have you forgotten not to call him with honorific?" Which surprised the Tantous as the four placed a hand on their mouth cause of their mistakes.

"Aichi-sama the sea is so beautiful!" Yasusada said as Kiyomitsu hurriedly placed a hand to his mouth.

Horikawa, Yamanbagiri, Tsurumaru and Mutsunokami followed them and they sweat dropped at the scene.

Noticing an only smiling Mina, they knew that she is just putting up with it as they know their errors will pile up and after this trip she will be having the talk with them.

Shokudaikiri claps twice as he called their attention even the ones with Aichi "Alright everyone we have to bring this up those hills first as planned." Everyone said OK's as they all headed to the minibus to start "You too Mikazuki-san."

Hearing that Mikazuki smiled as he looked at Aichi implying that he must be leaving as Aichi nodded in response.

When Shin heard about bringing up their luggage up the hill he opened the back of the minibus they used to show the bag and boxes that they brought, when he was about to speak.

Morikawa sinks it all in "It's that sama this sama there!" he said as he points out to Aichi and Mina sighs making the toudans flinched.

"Wow there are so many people here." A female's voice can be heard as the Card Capital gang search for the familiar voice where they found out that team Caesar was there and found out it was Yuri who spoke.

Thankfully because of Yuri, Morikawa's attention is now at them "Team Caesar!" Aichi and Kamui spoke.

Surprised why they were here they all listened to the story of the reason why they were here and found out that they were actually invited by them which surprisingly Shin made the arrangements.

While Mina is giving the toudans direction she noticed three new people coming "Are they a team in the tournament?" Aichi nodded as Kai made his way to where the Team Caesar are.

Mina is interested in the other girl that is with them "What is her name?"

"Her name is Yuri Usui." It was Misaki who mentioned her name Mina smiles as there is another female added to them.

Shokudaikiri walked towards Shin "Do you need help in lifting?" Shin beamed in delight hearing that someone will help him knowing that no one will probably help him as their attention are now directed at Team Caesar.

Getting the message that they will be the ones helping "Ehhh…" Kiyomitsu whined since it will be more work for them.

"I'm sure we will finish early after that we can help them." They weren't actually pleased with what Shokudaikiri told them "You guys want to play with Ai- chi…" Shokudaikiri cleared his throat "Aichi-kun early right?" They all looked at one another.

"You've gotten the hang of how to deal with them." Mina is amazed at how Shokudaikiri was able to make them motivated as he smiled to her in satisfaction.

Team Caesar with Kai and Izaki followed up the stairs while Kamui and Emi followed leaving Aichi, Misaki, Miwa and Morikawa "But the beach…" Morikawa said as he followed Kai and Izaki.

"We'll that is one of the reasons why he wanted to join here anyways." Miwa said as he runs to follow Kai.

Which only leaves Misaki and Aichi "You can go up ahead too if you want, we will show you to the cottage once everything is ready." Mina told Aichi and Misaki as shin continues to rummage at their luggage.

Aichi and Misaki looked at each other, then remembered Shin "Don't worry Aichi-sama, we will help him." Shokudaikiri told Aichi as the cost is now clear since they were the only ones left and Shin was busy with his things.

~Up at the cottage~

After a few hours Aichi is Cardfighting with Yuri and the others were too absorbed in watching the other cardfight other than them that they didn't even notice the toudans helping Shin with their things that if it wasn't because of a certain someone they wouldn't notice "So, are you even winning." Kiyomitsu patted Aichi's shoulder as he jumped back in surprise.

Looking behind him he noticed Kiyomitsu is watching him while the others took notice of him too with the exception of Kai and Kenji as they were focused on their fight "Oh, are you finished?" Aichi asked as Kiyomitsu looked away from his question it can only mean that he skipped.

Miwa looked at Kiyomitsu sheepishly understanding that "Mina-nee is going to scold you."

"She won't find out as long as no one tells her."Kiyomitsu exhaled as he smiles thinking that he is safe.

Unfortunately for him someone grabbed hold of his scarf from behind almost choking him already knowing who it was "Lose your head and die!" it was too late as Yasusada choked him.

Aichi seeing this panicked a little and placed down his cards as he tries to calm Yasusada "Ya-Yasusada, please calm down, he was just checking out our cardfight." Yuri, Gai and Emi seemed concerned for him, but for Miwa, Misaki, and Kamui their reaction is sweat dropping.

While still holding onto Kiyomitsu's scarf another figure behind surprised them as it placed a hand on Kiyomitsu's shoulder "Kashuu-san, that's too unfair, please don't skip." It was Horikawa.

"Ho-Horikawa…" Aichi sweat dropped though Yasusada wasn't choking him anymore as they felt the ominous aura from Horikawa.

"Oi! Kashuu, Yamatonokami, Horikawa! Don't you dare laze around." It was Hasebe, immediately the three who were called and Aichi, Miwa and Misaki also thought the same that this could be trouble.

"Go back you three from helping." As the three decided to continue helping since if they continued this it will cause more trouble as this is Hasebe in front of them.

"Aichi, we will come back after this!" Kiyomitsu waved as they left the area to continue on.

Immediately Hasebe turned to Aichi and placed a hand on his chest and lowered his head a little "Aichi-san, I am deeply sorry if they are ever giving you any trouble."

Surprised at how normally Hasebe dealt with it "I- it's fine…" Aichi raised his two hands as Hasebe immediately left.

Misaki, Miwa and Kamui were surprised "He… he was … just…" Miwa was at a loss for words "Did Mina-nee do something?"

Aichi turned back to take a seat and took his cards "I don't know to be honest…" though Izaki, Yuri, and Gai were still clueless about what is happening, Morikawa who wants to again point things out was cut off by Mina.

"Excuse me." Mina called out their attention with Kai even turning his head to look which surprised Kenji as they noticed that she is with Shin.

"Actually I have a proposal to uhm… for the Team Caesar." They all stopped what they were doing as they listened to her "We want to invite you to our cottage."

"By inviting she means moving there." Shin said which surprised everyone.

"Eh?" surprised Aichi looked at Mina.

"Aichi, have you forgotten that this trip is supposed to be with everyone too?" she pointed at the toudans behind her who just finished moving everything and is now waiting.

"And of course I was talking with Misaki about this beforehand and found out that Card Capital already has a different cottage and so I thought that if she could talk to his uncle about this and say to make this a joint trip but then she told me that Shin was already planning this with someone else and so when the timing was right I talked it out with him." Mina explained.

"Misaki did told me about this which I agreed to Mina's term but I already had planned this to Team Caesar, so the best solution was wait and talk to each other personally and then talk it out with Team Caesar, that is if they would so approve of it." Shin further explains.

"Of course if there will be financial damages I can help with it." Mina offered help if ever there will trouble in terms of money if ever they are cancelling the contract with the cottage with the Team Caesar's case.

"You see these people" she meant the toudans which she gestured at them "With me, Aichi, Misaki, Miwa, Kamui, and Kai, planned this trip before Shin talked about this to trip to Misaki so we decided to make it the same date so it could be a one trip with everyone, and of course knowing that it would be us and you guys between this two groups I'm sure Misaki, Miwa, Kamui and Kai wouldn't be able to choose right, especially Aichi?" Aichi lowered his head, he was having fun with vanguard that he forgot about that fact.

Misaki, Miwa, Kamui, and Kai turned their attention to Aichi, he was torn between the two and Aichi just realized that Mina had accounted his feelings regarding this trip, though not just him all five of them.

"So I chose a big cottage that could accommodate all of us beforehand, I asked Misaki before regarding how many there will be in their side of the trip and I'm sure another three wouldn't be a problem." She finished her explanation "Of course that is if you guys agrees to it?" He faces Team Caesar waiting for their approval.

Hearing their circumstances Kenji, Yuri, and Gai looked at each other "I guess things can be arranged." Kenji spoke.

When the three accepted the terms the Tantous hurriedly ran to Aichi cheering out in delight as they will be able to share the same cottage in this trip.

"This means we could also play with Emi-chan!" Midare cheered.

Emi ran towards Midare as she cheered with them.

Outro: Okay it can't fit in one chapter, I think this could span around four chapters hahahaha… we will see…
