Remus just lost the people in his life that made him feel like he was worthy of love. James and Lily were dead, Peter was dead, and Sirius was in Azkaban. Alone, Remus begins to write letters to the one person alive who can understand what he's feeling. Sirius Black.

A/N: Sorry it took me a while to update. I have letters written up to the middle of February, I just haven't had the time to upload because of school.

Dear Sirius Black,

Happy New Year. I spent my New Year's Eve in a pub. A girl asked me if I wanted a new year's kiss twelve seconds before midnight and I said sure. After our kiss she asked why I looked upset and I told her that it's my first new year without the love of my life. I think I ruined her night.

I want to see you. I know that I shouldn't but I miss you. I miss the Sirius Black I fell in love with. I know I keep repeating it but why? Why did you turn out to be a liar? And why do I desperately want to see you again? I wish they gave you a trial. It would've killed me to listen to you tell the world exactly how you betrayed us, but at least I'd have answers. At least I'd know why.
