Sakura & Sora's Heart-Racing First Dates

(Sora's POV)
*Sakura & I went up to a tank full of colorful fish*
Sakura: Hey, look. These fish are really cute.
Sora: And colorful.
(Third-Person POV)
Rika: Sakura and Sora sure are enjoying themselves.
Tomoyo: Yes, they are.
Naoko: They like track meets and field trips and all that kinda stuff.
Kenji: Yep.
(Sora's POV)
*Sakura puffed up her cheeks to match the pufferfish in the tank*
Sora:*off-screen* I'm Sora Kinomoto and this is my twin sister, Sakura. We're fourth graders at Tomoeda Elementary School. Today, we're out on a social studies field trip. Each group went to a different public institution and our group got to go to the aquarium. This is one of Sakura's favorite places.
*Chiharu ran up to us*
Chiharu: The penguin show's about to start!
Rika & Naoko: Okay!
*I walked alongside Tomoyo*
Sora: Sakura, let's -
*Suddenly, Sakura ran past us like a bullet. Creating a small wind*
Sakura: Come on, you guys, let's hurry!
Naoko: Wow. She's fast.
*Tomoyo giggled & I ran after Sakura. I caught up with her on the escalator*
Sakura: Penguins! Penguins! Penguins!
Sora: Sakura, they're not going anywhere. Slow down.
Sakura: I know. But I'm so excited!
Tomoyo: Sakura looks like she's having fun.
*We soon arrived at the penguin tank, where we watched penguins perform tricks like swimming & jumping through hoops. We clapped for them*
Sakura: This is incredible!
*The trainer then went underwater & a penguin took a fish from her hand*
Sora: Amazing!
Sakura: I'd really love to swim with the penguins.
Tomoyo: Well, you and Sora are very good swimmers.
*I blushed a little at that compliment*
Trainer: There.
*One of the penguins jumped on the platform & bowed. Another one waved at us. I waved back*
Sakura: Cute!
*Just then, I something strange. Part of the water seemed to be moving in on it's on. Just then, it coiled itself around the trainer's ankle & pulled her underwater. She struggled to break free, but couldn't. She then got out of the water, but it was still pulling on her & the water was swirling like a whirlpool*
Trainer: My leg!
*One of the penguins swam up to the whirlpool*
Sakura: No, penguin! Keep away!
Sora: Get back!
*But the moving water let go of the trainer's leg & grabbed the penguin, swirling it around in a whirlpool*
Sakura: No! Penguin! *she started banging on the glass* Penguin! Penguin!
Sora: Sakura, stop!
*Tomoyo & I pulled her away from the glass*
Sakura: I've gotta save that penguin! *she hit the glass again* Penguin! No!
*The other penguin seemed to be calling for help. Just then, Touya came in, holding two buckets*
Touya: What's going on!?
Trainer: A penguin's caught in the whirlpool! But I can't get to him!
*Touya dropped the buckets & jumped into the water. He grabbed the moving water & pulled it until it broke apart. The whirlpool stopped & Toya came up with the penguin. We breathed a sigh of relief*
Sakura: That's Touya!
Sora: Yeah.
*When we got home, we told Kero everything that happened while we were making pancakes in the kitchen*
Kero: What? Almost drowned. No! You didn't!
Sakura: That's not what we said. You weren't even listening to us.
Kero: Oops. Nobody was home, so I thought I'd come out of your room for a change. But I haven't been able to relax since. Well, that makes more sense. You two wouldn't be drowning, would you, Sakura, Sora. Cause two of the things you're both good at is sports and studying.
*We both glared at him*
Sora: What's that supposed to mean!? No pancakes for you!
Sakura: Yeah!
Kero: Oh! Please, guys! *Sakura poured her batter into a frying pan & cooked her pancakes. then it was my turn. we then put butter & syrup on them & sat at the table with silverware & a drink* Anyway, a penguin drowning? That's really hard to believe.
Sakura: The adults were wondering if maybe it was because the tanks plug had come out. But that's not what it seemed like to us.
Kero: Huh . . .
*Kero opened his mouth & we each gave him a piece of our pancakes*
Sora: Here. *he happily ate them* Actually, it wasn't like that at all. It looked more like the water . . .
Sakura: Something we should know?
Sora: Yeah, that's it.
Kero: What? Like when you see a Clow Card?
*We both nodded*
Touya:*off-screen* I'm home!
*We all started to freak out*
Sakura: Oh no! *Kero started snarfing down pieces of her pancakes* Kero, hurry! Get back to my room!
*She grabbed him & we ran towards the stairs. She threw him up*
Sora: Hide, quick!
*He then flew up towards Sakura's room. We both pretended to act natural as Touya walked by*
Sakura: Hi, Touya.
Sora: Welcome home.
Touya: Hi.
Sakura: Touya, you were at the aquarium today, weren't you?
*He tapped the message board that showed where everyone was going to be today & what chores everyone had*
Touya: Duh. If you look, it's written right there. *we looked at the board* Touya, working at the aquarium.
Sora: Touya, when did you get a job at the aquarium?
Touya: Last week.
Sakura: And you feed the penguins, that's so great!
Touya: No, it isn't.
Sakura: How come?
Touya: Just because.
Sora:*off-screen* Touya has multiple jobs around the city, so he can pay for college on his own.
*He then ate a piece of my pancakes*
Sora: Hey! That's mine! You can't just help yourself!
*Sakura started hitting him*
Sakura: We saved up our allowances to buy those!
Touya: Hey, what are you doing!? Hurry up and come in!
*She stopped*
Yukito:*off-screen* I'm coming! *she froze in place* It took a while to get my shoes off. *he turned to us* Hello, how are you, Sakura, Sora?
Sora: We're fine, thank you.
Sakura: Y - Yukito! *she blushed* Hello . . .
*He noticed our pancakes*
Yukito: Those look delicious. You two are good cooks, aren't you?
*Her face turned completely red & she looked at her feet*
Sakura: No . . . Not really.
Touya: That's right. They're really not.
*We both stomped on his feet*
Sakura: Um . . .
Yukito: Yeah?
Sakura: W - Would you like some pancakes? We just baked them.
Yukito: You sure? You and Sora bought them with your allowance, right.
Sora: It's okay. We've got plenty. Right, Sakura?
Sakura: Yeah! We'll bring them up to my brother's room later.
*Yukito kneeled down to us*
Yukito: Okay.
*He smiled us & Sakura's face turned even more red. I swear, I could see flowers blooming around her*
*Later, I let Sakura carry the tray of pancakes up the stairs to Touya's room. There were also drinks on the tray*
Sakura: Oh no. I can't knock on the door. What am I gonna do?
Sora: Here. Allow me.
Sakura: Thank you, Sora.
*But before my knuckles could even hit the door, we heard a voice on the other side*
Yukito:*off-screen* I'll be right there, Sakura, Sora!
*He opened the door & Sakura started blushing again*
Touya: Oh, Sakura, Sora, didn't know you were here.
*Yukito took the tray*
Sora: Hey? *they looked at us* How did you know we were here when we didn't even knock?
Yukito: I had a feeling. You said you brought this up for us, right?
*Sakura smiled as she blushed again*
*We went to Sakura's room & she fell to the floor, completely lovesick*
Kero: Sakura! Hey, Sakura! What on earth happened?
Sora: She just got bitten by the Love bug.
Kero: Huh?
*Sakura then grabbed Kero & hugged him*
Sakura: I'm so happy! Oh, Yukito!
Kero: Hey, let me go *she fell backwards onto the floor* Stop acting so silly! Would ya! What about your mission as a Cardcaptor, Sakura!?
Sakura: I'm more interested in Yukito . . .
Sora: Oh boy.
Sakura: I see. So, you don't care if the penguins start drowning again.
*That seemed to snap her out of it & she sat up*
Sakura: Oh no! That'd be awful!
*Kero gasped for air as she let go of him*
Kero: Thought that was the end of me . . . Well, this might be a bit of a problem.
Sora: What do you mean?
Kero: Now, then. I suppose the thing that almost drowned the Trainer and the penguin was in the water, that right? *we both nodded* Okay, tell me what you saw? Did you see this thing while they were drowning?
*We shook our heads*
Sakura: We didn't. The water was just swirling around.
*Kero thought for a minute*
Kero: Then it's probably . . . The Water Card.
Sakura: I thought so!
Sora: So, we just catch it and turn it back into a Card, right.
Kero: It's not that easy. We can't see the Water Card when it's in the water. And even if we're able to pull it out of the water, if it separates in different directions, we won't be able to control it. It's hard to catch things like water that don't have a shape. The Water Card has stronger magic than some of the other Clow Cards. It's difficult to use the four basic elements. Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind. And Water is a Card of untamed magic. It has a very wild nature. The Cards you have so far are Windy, Fly, and Shadow. But this one is beyond your powers. Even if you use Windy, which has the same high stream of magic as Water, Windy wouldn't beat it, because Windy's kind.
Sakura: Windy. Shadow, Fly. Do we only have these three cards?
Sora: Seems like it.
*Sakura & I started thinking hard about this*
*The next day, Sakura & I were walking through the schoolyard, deep in thought. Tomoyo & Kenji was right behind us. We both went up to the fountain & scooped some water in our hands*
Sora:*in his mind* How can we catch water? We've gotta think of something quick so we can catch the Water Card, before someone gets seriously hurt.
Tomoyo: You two seem down.
Kenji: Yeah. What's wrong?
*We both turned to them*
Sakura: No. We're fine, really.
Sora: Yeah.
*Tomoyo took one of our hands each*
Tomoyo: Seems like you've both got a challenge ahead for the pact you've made with the allies of justice.
*We both have her confused looks*
*We told them what's going on*
Tomoyo: Yes, I guess a Clow Card is behind all of this.
Kenji: I had feeling something seemed fishy.
Sakura: Yeah. But Kero says that it's not gonna be as easy as all that.
*We then watched some birds fly past the school clock tower*
*After school, we skated next to Tomoyo & Kenji on the way home. I stopped & turned to them*
Sora: Tomoyo? Kenji?
Tomoyo: Yes?
Kenji: Yeah.
Sora: Thanks for hearing us out.
Tomoyo: You and Sakura look so good when you smile like that. *my cheeks turned pink* Oh yeah, these are for you two. *she took out three cell phones. one pink & two blue* This is a new product from my Mom's company. *she gave Sakura the pink one* Here, these are for you two. *me & Kenji the blue ones* This one's for you. *she took out another pink phone* Here's another one. For Kero.
Sakura: You sure we can have them?
Tomoyo: Of course! By the way, my Mother wants you to tell her how you like it.
Kenji: Awesome! My own cell phone!
*I looked at my phone with a smile & pinker cheeks*
Sora:*in his mind* A gift from the girl of my dreams. I shall treasure it forever. *out loud* Thanks for thinking of us.
*She just smiled, making me blush even more. We soon got to the crosswalk that leads to our house*
Tomoyo: Well, see you tomorrow.
Kenji: Bye, guys!
*She went a different way to get home*
Sakura: Yeah. See ya!
Sora: Bye!
*We skated across the street & then down the path home. I then started thinking about last night*
(Flashback - Last night)
*Sakura & I both wore our pajamas as we sat in front of Kero*
Sakura: But . . . If we put all three cards together, then surly.
Kero: It won't work. No matter what you do with those cards you have, it won't work.
*He shook his head*
(Present Time)
Sora:*in his mind* But the Water Card . . . It's still out there. This is awful.
*We turned a corner. Suddenly, we noticed someone in front of us. We both tried to stop, but we couldn't in time. Luckily, the person caught us before we hit on the ground. We then saw it was Yukito*
Yukito: Are you two okay?
*Sakura started blushing as he helped us up*
Sora: We're okay. Thank you.
Yukito: You both should watch where you're going.
Sakura: Yes. I'm sorry.
Sora: Me too.
*He picked up the bag he dropped*
Yukito: Thanks for the cakes yesterday. They were delicious.
Sakura: No. Not at all.
Sora: It was nothing.
Yukito: You two are late. Have you just left your clubs?
Sakura & Sora: Huh?
Yukito: You're in the cheerleaders club and baseball club, right?
Sora: Yes.
Sakura: Uh, yeah.
Yukito: Touya told me you hit him with your baton and a baseball while practicing at home.
*We both blushed from embarrassment*
Sora:*in his mind* Touya! When I get home, you are so gonna get it!
Yukito: Can I take you both out for something to eat to thank you for the cakes?
*Sakura turned to him with a smile*
Sakura: Really? Are you sure?
Yukito: I found a place that's pretty good. Let's meet tomorrow at 1 at the penguin park, okay?
Sakura: Sure!
Sora:*in his mind* This could be Sakura's chance to have an actual date with Yukito. It's perfect. *out loud* Actually, I can't come. I promised Dad I'd help him with something tomorrow.
Yukito: Oh, I see. That's too bad. I'll buy you a souvenir from the park, how's that sound?
Sora: That sounds good. Thank you.
*We then skated home, Sakura smiling, cheering, & twirling the whole way. She was so excited, she almost missed our house. Luckily, I was able to pull her towards the front gate. I followed her to her room & caught her before she sank to her knees*
Sakura: Oh, Yukito . . .
Kero: Oh, not that again, Sakura.
*She then pulled out her new phone & dialed a number*
Answering Machine:*off-screen* Hello. Daidouji residence. No one's able to take your call right now. Please leave a message after the beep.
Sakura: Hi, Tomoyo. Guess what? I'm going on a date tomorrow with Yukito. We're meeting at 1. I'm so excited! I'll call you when I get back.
*Kero sighed & chuckled nervously*
Kero: So, you're not going? That's unusual.
Sora: Well, I figured I'd give Sakura some alone time with Yukito. Besides, it's not like we're completely joined at the hip.
Kero: True.
Sora: Sakura, I'm going to my room to do some homework, okay?
Sakura: Okay . . .
*I just smiled nervously again & left. When I got to my room, I took out my new phone & dialed Tomoyo's number*
Answering Machine:*off-screen* Hello. Daidouji residence. No one's able to take your call right now. Please leave a message after the beep.
Sora: Hey, Tomoyo. It's Sora. Are busy tomorrow?
*The next day, Kero & I met up with Tomoyo at the penguin park. We hid behind a tree as Sakura & Yukito arrived & went inside. Tomoyo was filming them*
Kero: Ah-ha. So that's the aquarium. This is just perfect. You can check if the Clow Card's in here.
Tomoyo: Oh, yes. And I can capture Sakura's first date on tape.
*She & Kero gave each other sneaky grins, high-fived, & then ran inside. I sweat dropped as I watched them*
Sora:*in his mind* This wasn't exactly what I had I mind when I asked her if we could hang out at the aquarium today. But least this way I can see how Sakura's first date with Yukito works out.
*I ran after them*
*We secretly followed Sakura & Yukito as they watched the fish in the tanks*
Tomoyo: Boy, this is so touching.
Kero: Geeze, don't kids hold hands these days?
Sora: Only if they're really serious.
*Just then, a little boy ran up to us & petted Kero*
Little Boy: A teddy bear!
*Kero turned to him with a glare*
Kero: Hey kid, lay another finger o me and you'll get hurt.
Sora: Kero!
*The boy back away, looking scared*
Tomoyo: They've moved on to another place.
*Kero looked where she was looking & turned back to the boy*
Kero: See you around!
*Tomoyo ran off & I turned to the boy with an apologetic smile*
Sora: Sorry about that.
*I ran after them again*
*Later, they went to cafe by the main tank for some food. What really surprised me was that Touya was now working there. I had to duck down when he looked at where we were hiding. I peeked back up when he turned away*
Kero: What? Is this a chaperone date or what?
*Just then, we heard a cracking sound. We looked up just as the glass broke apart & water came out a like a waterfall*
Sora & Tomoyo: Sakura!
*Suddenly, another part of the tank broke & the water came towards us. I was able to push Tomoyo & Kero out of the way before the water hit me. The part of the balcony where I was standing broke & I fell into the water below*
Tomoyo: Sora!
*I opened my eyes & saw that some of the water was swirling around my ankle, holding me in place*
Sora:*in his mind* The Water Card!
*I then noticed Sakura nearby. She looked surprised to see me. Suddenly, all the water started to drain out. We both gasped for air when it was below our heads. Touya came up to us*
Touya: Are you two alright?
*We both nodded. He carried us both up the stairs to Tomoyo*
Tomoyo: Sakura! Sora!
*He put us both on the stairs*
Sakura: Tomoyo. Oh, yeah. Where's Yukito?
*We saw him nearby, holding an axe*
Touya: Glad you're okay.
Sakura: I thought I was gonna die.
Tomoyo: Is this what I think?
*Kero came out from under Tomoyo's hat*
Kero: Yeah. The Clow Card is behind this.
Sora: The Water Card is definitely here.
Kero: You both saw it?
*Just then, Sakura realized something*
Sakura: Hey, wait a minute. What are you two doing here? *they both chuckled nervously* And you, Sora! I thought you said you were helping Dad!
Sora: Well, you see . . .
*Just then, Yukito came up to us*
Yukito: Are you alright, Sakura?
Sakura: Yeah.
Yukito: Too bad we didn't get that shaved ice after all.
Sakura: That's okay.
*My eyes went wide at the word "Ice". Yukito then saw me*
Yukito: Oh, Sora. You made it after all. That's great.
Sora: Uh . . . Yeah. *in his mind* Shaved ice . . . Ice . . . That's it!
*Sakura's eyes filled with happy tears as grabbed Yukito's jacket*
Sakura: Yukito! Thank you so much!
Yukito: Uh . . . Right.
*That night, we were back at the aquarium. Kenji was with us. Sakura was wearing an ocean-blue blue jester hat with a white lining, two yellow buttons on the side, & yellow balls at the end of the hat's long tips, an ocean-blue leotard underneath a white top layer with a collar, with triangular fabric that represents the key motif in a jester outfit, long ocean blue gloves, & large open sleeves, & ocean-blue jester shoes. I was wearing the boy version of her costume only with long pants (look up "Sora (Episode 3 Costume)" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt"). Kero was wearing a matching blue collar. We hid in the bushes until the last employee left & the only person left was the guard. Once he turned to the TV, we snuck past him & into the building. Kero stopped to make a quick funny face at him before I grabbed him. We ran down the hallway*
Kero: Are you sure you're gonna be okay?
Sakura: No problem.
Sora: We'll be fine.
*Tomoyo filmed us as we ran through the aquarium, up the escalator, & past the tanks. The whole time I could feel someone watching us. We then made it to where the top of the tanks were*
Sakura: Here?
Kero: This is where the magic feels the strongest. It's there.
*I pulled out my phone & called Tomoyo*
Tomoyo:*off-screen* Daidouji here.
Sora: You and Kenji ready?
Tomoyo:*off-screen* Yep. All set.
Kenji:*off-screen* We're ready when you guys are!
Sora: Great. Wait until we give you the signal. For now, go and hide.
*Sakura & I stood in the edge of the tank*
Sakura: Water! Come out!
Sora: We're ready for you!
*Suddenly, the water in the tank rose out. Sakura pulled out the Fly Card*
Sakura: Get back, Kero!
*She tossed out the card*
Sakura & Sora: Fly! *we hit the card & the wings on our wands grew. we flew through the aquarium, dodging attacks. when we got to the bottom of the second flight of stairs, Tomoyo & Kenji were waiting next to an open door. they hid again as we lead the card down to the basement. when we got to where we wanted to go, we got off our wands & prepared for attack. the card was also ready. I brought out the next card* Windy!
*The card used it's magic to open the door behind us, which lead to the freezer. She then went inside & the Water Card followed her. Once they were inside, the Water Card took the form of a blue, adolescent mermaid with her hair parted in the middle with several strands emanating from the top, a scaly circlet decorates her forehead, webbed, elven ears, & two wing-like fins, much like a flying fish, on her back. She seemed to hiss at us as we closed the door. We both fell to the floor & breasted a sigh of relief*
Kero: Nice job, you two! Now it'll be easy to catch the Water Card once it's frozen.
Sakura: It was Yukito who told us about the freezer where the animal food is.
Sora: Thank you for your help as well, Tomoyo, Kenji.
Tomoyo: I'm just glad we were able to help.
Kenji: Yep. We'll always have your back.
*Tomoyo looked at her watch*
Tomoyo: Well, now it's about time, don't you think?
*We opened the door & found the Water Card completely frozen into a beautiful ice sculpture*
Sakura & Sora: Now, return to your true form! Clow Card!
*We both touched the sculpture with our wands & it turned back into a card*
Kero: You two were clever to have thought of that.
Sakura: It's all thanks to Yukito.
*She now had a far away look in her eyes. Kero waved a paw in front of her face*
Kero: Oh man. I think Sakura's frozen too. *Tomoyo got a close up of her face & I stood next to her, with a smile & a peace sign* Hey, take one for me too. Well done, keep it up Sakura and Sora!
Sora: We'll do our best!
