Sakura & Sora's Tiring Sunday

(Sora's POV)
*It's been a few days since we captured the Water Card. Today was Sunday & Sakura & I had plans to meet Tomoyo & Kenji in a forest park for a picnic. As soon as I woke up, feeling really excited, I ran to the window & opened the curtains. The sun was out & there wasn't a cloud in the sky after last night's rain*
Sora: Yes! Perfect weather!
*I then went to get dressed. I put on blue overalls over a white hoodie, & white socks. I then left my room just as Sakura was leaving hers. She her her hair in pigtails, was wearing a pink jumper over a white long sleeved shirt, & white socks*
Sakura: Good morning, Sora.
Sora: Good morning, Sakura.
*We both went downstairs & found Dad & Touya sitting at the table. Dad was reading his newspaper & Touya was drinking milk, straight from the carton*
Sakura & Sora: Good morning!
Fujitaka: Good morning, Sakura, Sora.
Touya: Pretty happy today, huh monsters?
*We both got annoyed at that. Then we turned back to Touya with smiles*
Sakura: We'll let you get away with that today.
Sora: Yep.
*He looked confused as we both took our seats. I was next to Touya & Sakura next Dad*
Fujitaka: Yes, you two do seem to be in good moods.
Sakura: Sure we are.
Sora: We're going out with Tomoyo and Kenji today.
Fujitaka: But . . .
Sakura & Sora: Huh?
*Touya showed us the schedule board*
Touya: You two are doing all the housework today, remember?
Sakura & Sora: Huh?
Touya: You two traded with me last week, don't you remember?
*I realized he was right*
(Flashback - Two weeks ago)
*Sakura & I went up to Touya as he was doing the dishes*
Sakura: Uh . . . Rika's in a piano concert. We'd sure like to go see her.
Sora: So . . . Do you mind . . .?
*He gave us a look*
Touya: Ok. I'll trade with you.
*We both looked surprised*
Sakura: You will!?
Sora: Thanks, Touya!
*We both went to the board*
Touya: But on one condition. In exchange, you two have to do all the housework next Sunday.
Sakura & Sora: Okay!
(Present Time)
*Sakura & I both looked at the board in disbelief, Mr being the most disappointed*
Sora:*in her mind* I can't believe I forgot about that.
Touya: Well, I'm off to work.
Sakura: Okay, see you.
Sora: Have a good day.
*Dad brought out a big basket of laundry*
Fujitaka: Sorry. The laundry's really piled up since it's been raining so much. Listen, do you both want me to help you?
*Sakura & I both smiled at him*
Sakura: You've got an academic meeting today.
Sora: Don't worry about us, Dad. We'll be okay.
Fujitaka: Sorry about this.
Sakura: It's no problem.
Fujitaka: Alright then, I'll leave this by the washing machine.
Sora: Okay.
Touya: See ya!
*He left*
Sakura: Bye, Touya.
Fujitaka: I'll be going as well.
Sora: Yeah. See you later!
*He left*
Fujitaka: Goodbye.
*As soon as the door was closed, we both groaned. Then Sakura called Tomoyo to tell her the bad news & I called Kenji*
Kenji:*off-screen* What!? Seriously?
Sora: Yeah. We completely forgot it was our turn to do the housework today. Sorry.
Kenji:*off-screen* Well, I guess it can't be helped. Don't worry about it
Sora: I'm really sorry, though.
Kenji:*off-screen* Hey, don't worry about it. Good luck with all your housework.
Sora: Thanks. Well, see I'll at school tomorrow.
Kenji:*off-screen* Yeah. Bye.
*Then we hung up*
Sakura: Poor Tomoyo.
Sora: We'll have to give them cards tomorrow to apologize.
Sakura: Yeah. And maybe I could also give Tomoyo some flowers. *then we went into the kitchen* Well then, time to get started!
Sora: Yeah!
*First we did the dishes. Sakura washed & I dried*
Sakura: Kero! You okay!?
*Kero was doing the laundry. After the dishes were done, we dusted the living room. Then vacuuming & sweeping. Then wiping the tables & windows. While Sakura & I were cleaning the rug, she found something sticking out of it*
Sakura: Huh?
Sora: What's up?
*She pulled it out & we were surprised to see that it was a Clow Card*
Sakura: The Wood. This is a Clow Card.
Sora: Wow. How lucky.
*We both towards the laundry room*
Sakura: Kero! Kero!
Kero:*off-screen* Yeah?
Sora: Kero! We found a Clow Card!
*But when we got there, he wasn't there & the washing machine was running*
Sakura: He's not here. Well, okay. *she put the card in her pocket* We'll brag about it later.
Sora: But not too much, okay?
Sakura: Okay. *then we mopped the floors* Oh yeah. After we finish, let's have popsicles with Kero!
Sora: Good idea.
*After we finished mopping, we went downstairs to clean Dad's library. Kero was outside, hanging up the laundry to dry*
Sakura: This is the last place to do.
Sora: Yep. And then we're done.
*We started by opening some windows. Then we put away the books that were on the floor, swept, & vacuumed. Suddenly, Sakura found something stuck to the nozzle of the vacuum. It looked like a black rectangle*
Sakura: Oh no. It's covered in ink!
*She turned it around & we both gasped at what we saw*
Sora: Another Clow Card?
Sakura: This must be our lucky day. We've found two cards, one after the other!
*She set them down on the desk*
Sora: We better clean them up.
Sakura: Yep! *she started skipping with me right behind her* Wet towel, wet towel. *just then, the phone rang* Oh, the phone. *we both ran upstairs* Okay, we're coming!
*I answered the phone*
Sora: Hello?
Fujitaka:*off-screen* Sora?
Sora: Yes. Dad, is that you?
Fujitaka:*off-screen* Could you and Sakura see if there's a blue envelope on top of the table?
*We went into the dining room & found a blue envelope next to Dad's newspaper*
Sakura: Yeah, there is.
Fujitaka: Sorry, but you two bring that to the bus stop for me? The materials for my lecture are in there.
Sora: We'll be right there!
*Sakura & I put on our roller skates*
Sakura: Kero, we're just going out for a bit!
Sora: We'll be back soon!
*We made it to the bus stop just as the bus was arriving & gave Dad the envelope. Then he got on the bus & we waved him goodbye*
Sakura & Sora: Bye, Dad!
Fujitaka: Thanks a lot!
*Soon, it was out of sight*
Sora: Well, time to head home.
Sakura: Yeah.
?:*off-screen* Sakura. Sora.
*We both turned around & saw Yukito. Sakura's cheeks turned pink*
Sora: Oh, hi Yukito.
Sakura: H - Hi.
Yukito: That was your Dad, wasn't it? Everything okay?
Sakura: Yeah. Our Dad forgot something, that's all.
Yukito: So you brought it to him? Good kids.
*Sakura blushed even more. I just smiled. Then I noticed something*
Sora: You're in your uniform?
Yukito: Oh, yeah. There was a basketball game today. So I was just helping out.
Sora:*off-screen* Actually, Yukito doesn't belong in any clubs. But he helps out sometimes as an assistant when there's a game or something.
*I could tell my sister's crush on him was going into overtime*
Yukito: Hey, Sakura, Sora, have either of you had lunch?
Sakura: No, not yet.
Yukito: Wanna eat together? Right over there.
*He pointed to the restaurant we were standing in front of. My eyes went wide when I saw Touya inside*
Sora:*in his mind* Touya!
*We all went inside & sat at a table. Sakura & I each ordered a parfait. While Yukito ordered a big plate of curry. Touya came up to our table with another big plate of curry*
Yukito: Thanks.
*Sakura & I sweatdropped*
Sakura: That's your third plate.
Touya: He eats three times as much I do.
*He left*
Sora: Th - Three times?
Yukito: Go on. Eat as much as you like, Sakura, Sora. It's my treat, okay.
Sakura: Kero's waiting for us at home, so . . .
*I almost jumped out of my seat when I heard her say his name*
Yukito: Oh. Who's Kero?
*I nudged her*
Sakura: Oh, nobody!
*She nervously giggled*
Sora: Well, it's good to have a big appetite. It's healthy.
Yukito: It's hard on the allowance, though.
*He laughed*
*Later, we were skating home, Sakura smiling & crying happy tears the whole way*
Sakura: Yukito! Thanks for forgetting your things, Dad! I got to run into Yukito!
*I sweatdropped*
Sora:*in his mind* That's not exactly something to be thankful for.
*Soon, we arrived at the house*
Sakura & Sora: We're home!
*Just then, we looked up & saw that all the laundry had been hung up to dry*
Sora: Looks like Kero's been busy while we were gone.
*We went inside, took off our skates, & then went up to Sakura's room*
Sakura: Kero! *we found him asleep on her bed* Thank you, Kero.
Sora: Yeah. Thanks.
*He moved a little in his sleep*
Sakura: You sleep some more. We'll make your lunch right away.
*Suddenly, we heard a creaking sound. I shook Kero to wake him up*
Sora: Kero. Kero, wake up!
*He woke up*
Kero: Wha . . . Is it time for lunch?
Sakura: What's that sound?
Kero: . . . Sound?
*We heard it again. Then the whole house shook. I held on to Sakura & she held on to Kero. We slowly walked out of the room, Sakura behind me*
Sakura: Is it a burglar?
Kero: It's coming from downstairs.
*Sakura picked up a mop & stayed behind me as we slowly went down the stairs. She had tears in her eyes again, but not the happy kind*
Sakura: I hope it's not a ghost.
Kero: Think a ghost would be here in the daytime?
Sora: Somehow I doubt that.
Sakura: Who knows? It might.
*We looked around the house, but didn't see anyone*
Kero: It's in the basement! *we made our way towards the door & put our ears to it* It's in there. *I slowly opened it* Oh, it's hard to see anything.
*Suddenly, we saw tree branches that began to grow out of the basement. We all screamed. Sakura & I closed the door, breaking off a few twigs, & held it in place*
Sora: What the heck it that!?
*Kero picked up one of the twigs*
Kero: That's just a branch from a plant!
Sakura: What's something like that doing coming up from the basement!?
*Suddenly, the twig in Kero's paws disappeared*
Kero: Hey, the Wood Card is behind this!
Sora: The Clow Card? *then I remembered* Oh, that reminds me!
*We told Kero about the cards we found*
Kero: What!? You just left the Clow Cards you found without writing your names on them!?
Sakura: They were still in the shape of cards when we found them. And - and then the phone just rang!
Kero: That's no good! The cards will only listen to the person who's the first to write their names on the cards!
Sora: But they've been in the house this whole time and nothings happened until now!
Kero: Hmm . . . And the Wood card is such a gentle one too. I can't imagine it doing anything bad.
Sakura: Then what's happened?
*Kero let go of the door to think*
Kero: Hmm . . .
Sora: Kero! Don't let go!
*Suddenly, the door opened & a tree branch came out from the bottom corner. It wrapped around Sakura's ankle*
Sakura: Kero! Sora! Do something quickly!
Sora: Sakura!
*I was about to go help her, but another branch caught me & Kero*
Kero: I can't do a thing! The thing's got me too!
Sora: I'm stuck too! *suddenly, the doorbell rang twice, we all looked at each other in worry**in his mind* What do we do now?
*The doorbell rang again*
Sakura: I wonder who it is.
Kero: Who? You'll know when they come in.
*We glared at him. Suddenly, the branches pushed the door even more, making it harder for us to keep it in*
Sora: If someone sees us like this, everyone in town will find out! And Kero, they might think that you're a teddy bear come to life and will try to sell you or worse!
Kero: That'd be bad.
*The doorbell rang a fourth time*
Sakura: Coming!
Kero: Why'd you answer them!?
*She covered her mouth with both her hands*
Sora: Must've been on reflex!
*The doorbell kept ringing*
Kero: Come to think of it, it wouldn't be so bad.
*He suddenly went stiff*
Sora: Kero?
Kero: You shouldn't be talking to a teddy bears.
Sakura: You're mean!
*Suddenly, the door burst open & all the branches came spilling out, carrying us along with it. It stopped at the front entrance. We saw a shadow in the window. Sakura tried to get away while I tried to get free. Kero stayed still. The door suddenly opened & we both froze. Sakura covered her eyes & I turned away*
Sora: Th - This isn't what it looks like!
Tomoyo:*off-screen* Hello?
Kenji:*off-screen*
*My heart skipped a beat when I heard Tomoyo's voice. I turned around & Sakura opened her eyes & we were both relieved to see Tomoyo & Kenji at the door*
Sakura: Tomoyo!
Sora: Kenji! Thank goodness.
Tomoyo: We thought we'd come over and help your housework.
*They got us all free from the branches*
Kenji: Were you guys pruning the garden?
Sakura: No. A Clow Card, Wood is behind this.
Tomoyo: Oh.
Kenji: Seriously?
Kero: Sakura, Sora, now's the time to use the seal!
*We both nodded & pulled out our our wands in their pocket size*
Sakura & Sora: Release! *our wands grew to their full size & we took them* Return to your true form now, Clow Card!
*We both hit the branches with our wands & the branches disappeared back into the basement. Tomoyo got it all on her video camera*
Tomoyo: That's fantastic, Sakura, Sora!
*We both looked around for the card, but didn't find it*
Kenji: What's wrong? Is something the matter?
Sora: The card's not here.
Kero: That can't be. It must've fallen around here somewhere.
Tomoyo How about over in that room?
Sakura: Oh yeah. The basement.
Kero: Good! Let's go get that card!
Sakura & Sora: Yeah!
*Suddenly, everything started shaking again. Then the branches appeared again*
Sora: Upstairs! Quick!
*We all ran upstairs with the branches right behind us*
Kero! Sakura! Sora!
*We made it up to the roof, on to the balcony where the laundry was drying. Kenji & I stood in front of the girls as the branches came towards us. But they stopped just inches away from us & went up even further. Just then, all the branches grew leaves*
Sakura: It seems to have stopped now.
Kero: Yeah, it's seems to be happy having the sunlight on it.
Tomoyo: Yes. Just like a Wood Card.
Sora: Very true.
*Kero then gasped in shock*
Kero: The laundry! It's ruined!
Sakura: Oh no.
Kero:*tears in his eyes* Now I have to start all over again.
Kenji: Don't let it get you down, Kero.
Sora: We'll help you out.
Sakura: Yep.
Kero: I have to start all over!
Tomoyo: Anyway, what are we gonna do about this?
Sakura: If we use the seal, it'll just go back to to it's former state.
Kero: Of course it will! Go and get the card now and let's finish sealing it up!
Sora: You mean go to the basement?
Kero: Right!
*Suddenly, we heard that creaking sound again*
Sakura: What's that sound?
Tomoyo: Sounds just like an elephant walking.
Kero: No! It's the house creaking! The tree is still growing!
Sora: But it was calm a minute ago! Has it figured out the light comes from outside?
Kero: Yeah. Now it wants to get the light to it's whole body!
Kenji: It'll destroy the house!
Sakura & Sora: No!
Kero: It's time for Sakura and Sora the Cardcaptors!
*We made our way back inside & changed into the costumes Tomoyo had brought with her. Sakura was wearing a pink headband with white wings on the sides, a light pink dress with white rims around the skirt, a golden plate on the chest, puffy shoulders that extended into long sleeves, white gloves with a pink hand guard, & cuffs on the wrists, thigh-high white stockings, & white ankle boots with light pink cuffs & base. I was wearing a light blue headband with white wings on the sides, a light blue with white rims at the ends of the legs, a golden plate on the chest, puffy shoulders that extended into long sleeves, white gloves with a light blue hand guard & cuffs on the wrists, & white ankle boots with light blue cuffs & base (look up "Sora (Episode 4 Costume") by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt)". We both blushed as Tomoyo filmed us*
Sakura: Um . . . Why did you bring these clothes over?
Tomoyo: I wanna make a video of you and Sora dancing and doing your magic in your battle clothes in this wonderful jungle!
*Kero flew by, eating a sandwich*
Kero: And look, they've made this lunch for us too! *we both sweatdropped. this was so embarrassing. we then made our way through the branches with Tomoyo & Kenji right behind us, Tomoyo still filming. at one point. Kero went on head to look for an opening in the branches* You can get through here. *we followed him* This way! *we weaved our way through the branches * Just a little further.
*Just then, the house shook*
Kenji: We'd better hurry!
Sora: Right.
*We soon arrived at the basement & went downstairs. Just then, we heard heard different sound*
Sakura: What's that sound?
Tomoyo: I'm not sure.
*Suddenly, Sakura & I stepped I something wet*
Sora: Water?
Kero: The Water Card can't possibly come from the Wood Card.
Sakura: So, it's from the other card?
Kero: What!? You mean there were two cards!?
Sora: Yes. We explained this already.
Kero: Oh. Right. So that means . . . *we turned towards the noise & saw small cloud, raining on the trees's roots* Hey, it was Rain.
Kenji: Rain?
Kero: Yes. The Rain Card. The Rain Card got together with the Wood Card and they created this jungle. You two ready?
Sakura & Sora: Yeah.
Tomoyo: The Kodak moment!
*Sakura & I both stepped forward*
Sakura: Rain!
Sora: Wood!
*A young & cute little girl with long straight bangs parted on either side of her face & wearing a jesters hat that fell into two long points, tipped in rain drops, a collar cut in many points, also tipped in rain drops, a poofy sleeved top, poofy harlequin pants, & pointed boots, with cuffs also tipped in rain drops appeared on the cloud*
Sakura: That's as far as you're gonna get.
Tomoyo: Looking good!
Kenji: Go get em!
Kero: Sakura, Sora, it's coming!
*The little girl came towards us & rained on us*
Sora: I think we can handle this.
*Just then, it dumped a waterfall on us. We ran away, the cloud follows us*
Kero: Sakura, Sora, hurry! It's just toying with you! Use the seal!
Sakura: Sure, but - ! *we climbed over a bookshelf* Okay!
*We ran some more*
Kero: Hey, I know! Go after the Wood Card! Try going after it with Water!
Sora: Of course, the Water Card! *I took out the card**with Sakura* Oh darkness that created the Cards, lend us the power of the key and give us the power to transfer the magical powers of the card to this key! Water! *we both hit the card with our wands & the mermaid appeared. She used her power controlled the flow of the rain* Oh Water, become a chain of restraint!
The mermaid went towards the girl & trapped her in a bubble*
Kero: Alright! You got it!
Sakura & Sora: Return to your true form now, Clow Card!
We hit the bubble with our wands & the girl went back into the card, but not without putting up a struggle. Once she was in the card, all the water disappeared*
Tomoyo: Hey, you did it!
Sakura: Okay now next, we have to take care of the one that tried to destroy our house. *she & I turned to one of the roots* Wood!
Kero: Hang on a second! *suddenly, the root started to glow. Then the whole tree disappeared. It it's place was a small beautiful, young woman with flowing hair, a leafy symbol on her forehead, & a large, bushy ruff of foliage with long vines extending from it. she floated up & turned back into a card* See? I told you it was a gentle card, didn't I?
Sora: I guess Rain and Wood really are good friends.
*Kero then noticed something behind Tomoyo*
Kero: Hey, look at that! *We all looked where he was pointing & smiled at what we saw* A rainbow!
Tomoyo: It's beautiful!
Kenji: This must be our lucky day!
*Then Sakura & I each signed our our names on the cards*
Sora: There. All set.
Kero: If you had written your names on the cards earlier, we wouldn't have had to go through all that trouble, you know.
Sakura: Yeah. I've learned my lesson now.
Sora: Me too.
Kero: In that case, I'll get myself some shut eye.
Sakura & Sora: Good night.
*We turned to Tomoyo*
Sakura: Sorry about all this.
Sora: Yeah, sorry.
Tomoyo: Not at all. I got better film on video than what I would have got at the park, you know.
Kenji: Yeah. This was a lot of fun!
Sora: Oh, I see.
Kero:*off-screen* Sakura, Sora, come quickly!
*We all ran upstairs & were shocked to find the whole house was a mess*
Sakura: Oh no. We'll have to all over again.
Tomoyo: Don't worry, I'll help you.
Kenji: Me too.
*We all then fell on our knees & hugged Tomoyo & Kenji, crying*
Sakura, Sora, & Kero: Thank you, Tomoyo! Thank you, Kenji!
(Third-Person POV)
*Later that day, Fujitaka & Touya came back*
Fujitaka & Touya: I'm home!
*They were surprised to find the house completely spotless. Then they went upstairs & found the twins asleep together on Sakura's bed with Kero in-between them*
Fujitaka: Thanks for doing all the housework. *he took out a cake box* We'll have some cake later on.
Touya: Better write your name on it or they'll wolf it all down.
*They left the room*
Sakura: We did write our names . . . We did.
Sora: Yeah . . . We did.
