Sakura & Sora's Rival Appears

(Dream - Sora's POV)
*Sakura & I were standing on the roof of a building, the full moon shining behind Tokyo Tower, our pink & blue capes flowing in the wind. Two ripples appeared on a watery surface*
Sora:*off-screen* I strange . . . I remember having this dream before . . . *just what, a person wearing a green robe stood where we stood before. Kero turned to face them as cards rained down around them. they seemed to be saying something* Who's this person? It's not me or Sakura.
*The person then jumped down from the roof & more ripples appeared*
(Reality)
*I woke up with a jolt & sat up in bed. It's been a few days since we captured the Silent Card. Suddenly, I heard Sakura scream. I jumped out my bed & ran to her room*
Sora: Sakura! What's wrong!?
*I saw Kero roll across the bed & Sakura failing her arms, looking scared*
Kero: I was only trying to wake you up, Sakura. I was worried about you.
Sakura: Sorry. I was dreaming.
Kero: Bad dream?
*Sakura nodded*
Sakura: That's funny. I've dreamt that same dream before. There was . . .
Sora: A person wearing a Chinese green robe?
Sakura: Yeah. How'd you know?
Sora: Because I had the exact same dream.
Kero: Chinese robe?
*Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Kero quickly went stiff as Touya came into the room*
Sakura: What's up?
Touya: What's going on in here? I'm sure I just heard voices in here.
Sora: Uh . . . Sakura had a bad dream, so I just came to check on her.
Sakura: Y - Yeah. That's it. But I'm okay now.
*She put Kero on the shelf behind her bed*
Touya: Oh okay. Must be the monsters making all that noise.
*We each grabbed a pillow & threw it at him as closed the door*
Sakura & Sora: Get out of here!
*Kero relaxed*
Kero: Ah, that was close.
*Suddenly, Touya came back in & Kero went stiff again*
Sakura & Sora: What!?
Touya: Breakfast is ready. Get up. And Sora, go get dressed.
*He stared at Kero as he closed the door again. Sakura opened her roof window with a growl*
Sakura: That Touya!
Sora: Doesn't he have anything better to have than pick on us?
Kero: Anyway, getting back to your dreams. Remember, you have magical powers, so maybe these dreams . . . Are reality.
Sakura: What's that?
Kero: So maybe you'll both meet that boy. The one dressed in the Chinese clothes you saw in your dreams.
Sakura & Sora: Huh?
*All three of us looked out the window*
(An hour later . . .)
Fujitakav*off-screen* Sakura! Sora! You're going to be late!
Sakura & Sora: Coming!
*We quickly put on our roller skates & skated after Touya as he rode on his bike*
Sakura: Bye! See you later!
Sora: Bye, Dad!
Fujitaka: Have fun, kay?
Sakura & Sora: Thanks!
*We zoomed to catch up with Touya*
Sakura: Hey wait! Touya!
Touya: I told you I wasn't gonna wait for you and Sora, Sakura.
Sakura: I know . . .
Touya: Yukito!
*We saw him waiting for us at the end of street, under a tree*
Yukito: Hi!
*Soon, we were all on our way to school. Sakura kept her eyes on Yukito the whole way there*
Yukito: Have a good dream last night?
*She snapped out of her fantasy*
Sakura: Huh?
Touya: Sounded more like a nightmare to me. I could hear some very strange noises coming from her & Sora's bedrooms. Monster noises.
Sakura & Sora: Touya!
Yukito: Both of you had a nightmare?
Sakura: Ah, no. But I've had this same dream before.
Sora: Me too.
Yukito: Ah. That means they could come true then.
*We were both surprised by what he said*
Sakura: That's just what Kero said.
*I quickly nudged her when she said that name & she covered her mouth*
Yukito: It's true, you know. Happened to me. Last night, I dreamt that I had fish for breakfast. And then this morning, guess what happened? There was grilled fish!
*I sweatdropped. Why am I not surprised? Sakura almost lost her balance, but I caught her*
*We arrived at class, Tomoyo & Kenji were already waiting for us*
Tomoyo: You seem in a good mood today, Sakura.
Sakura: Yeah, I am. We rode to school with Yukito this morning.
Kenji: So that's why you're happy.
*Sakura smiled & then we each took a piece of candy out of our pockets*
Sora: He gave us these.
(Flashback)
*He threw them to us as he rode away with Touya*
Yukito: Bye!
*We each caught one*
(Present Time)
Tomoyo: That boy always has candy with him, doesn't he?
Sakura: Yeah. That's cause he likes it so much.
Kenji: And he likes giving it to you guys. Lucky.
*We both smiled. Just then, Rika walked in*
Rika: Morning!
Sakura & Sora: Morning, Rika!
Tomoyo: Good morning, Rika.
Kenji: Morning.
*Just then, an adult man with medium brown hair, peach skin, brown eyes, wearing a blue suit walked into the room*
Mr. Terada: Good morning, everyone. *we all sat down* Everyone here? *he noticed him looking at Rika & cheeks turned pink. he tried to hide it with a cough* Today, we have a new exchange student. *everyone was surprised* Come on in!
Tomoyo: Strange to have an exchange student at this time of year.
Sora: Yeah.
*Just then, a boy our age with short chestnut hair, peach skin, & amber eyes, wearing the same uniform as me. I noticed he was staring at me & Sakura*
Sora:*in his mind* Why is he . . .?
Kenji:*whispering* He's staring at you guys.
Sora:*whispering* I know.
*Sakura just nodded. Mr. wrote "Syaoran Li" on the board*
Mr. Terada: Li Syaoran. He's from Hong Kong. Please be kind to him. Now then, we need to find you a place. There's an empty seat over there.
*We both flinched. He was referring to the desk behind Sakura. Sayroan walked towards us & stopped in front of us. He stared at us*
Tomoyo: Your seat's just over there. See?
*He just looked at her, turned his nose up, & sat down without a word. He kept staring at us*
Kenji:*whispering* What a weirdo.
Sora:*whispering* Yeah.
*A few hours later, it was English Class*
Female Teacher: Now for today's lesson. We're staring with a new book I'm sure you're all going to enjoy.
*I just kept my eyes on my notebook & tried to ignore Syaoran, who was still staring at me & Sakura. But I could tell Sakura was getting nervous*
Sora:*in his mind* Why does it seem like he hates us when we've never met him once in our lives? Why?
*Later that day, the lunch bell rang & Sakura was holding her head in pain as I helped her down the stairs*
Sakura: My head . . .
Sora: Maybe we should go see the nurse.
*Suddenly, a hand grabbed each of our shoulders. We turned around & saw it was Syaoran*
Syaoran: You two.
*Sakura flinched & I just looked at him*
*He took us to the fence behind the school. He held a star shaped board*
Sakura: So . . . Well . . .
Sora: Is there something you want to say to us. Because you've been glaring at us all day. Why?
*He didn't say anything as he closed his eyes*
Syaoran: I bid by the imperial degree of the honorable God of the Four Cardinal Points of the Ink Stones. The Oracle of Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Clouds, Wind, and Rain! Spin! Magic flash of lightning! Come to my aid! *suddenly, two beams of light came out of the board & pointed at me & Sakura* I knew it! You two have the Clow Cards, don't you!?
*We were both shocked*
Sakura: But how do you know . . .?
Syaoran: The compass board was especially designed to detect the whereabouts of Clow Cards. Give em!
*I got in front of Sakura, just in case*
Sora: No way!
Syaoran: You better.
Sakura: There's no way we'd ever give them up! And we promised Kero.
Syaoran: Kero? The Guardian Beast Kero?
Sakura: You know?
Syaoran: If Kero's here, what on Earth is he doing letting a couple of kids handle the Cards?
Sora: Kero doesn't have enough magical powers now. So he asked for our help in finding & capturing them.
Syaoran: Kero manages the symbols sun, fire, and earth. Does he have those Cards?
Sakura: No . . .
Syaoran: How long have you two been looking?
Sakura: April . . . This year . . .
Syaoran: You've been looking for 2 months and still not found them?
*Sakura groaned & I glared at him. He was really starting to make me mad and that rarely happens*
Sakura: I know . . .
Sora: Anyway, why do you know about the Clow Cards?
Syaoran: None of your business. But I'll get them. Gimme!
*I got front of Sakura as he backed us up against the fence*
Sakura: No! *she moved away from me & held her hands to her skirt pocket* I won't give them to you! We promised Kero!
Syaoran: HA! They're in your pocket!
*He was about to go towards her, but I pushed her away*
Sora: Stay away from her!
*Before I knew it, the two of us were wrestling on the ground. He quickly had me pinned down*
Sayroan: Give me the cards!
Sora: No way!
*Nearby, Tomoyo & Kenji were looking for us*
Tomoyo: Sakura?
Kenji: Sora?
*Just then, they saw me wrestling with Syaoran*
Tomoyo & Kenji: Sakura! Sora!
*Suddenly, Touya climbed over the fence & landed next to us*
Touya: Hey! What do you think you're doing!?
Sakura & Sora: Touya!
He grabbed Syaoran by the back of his shirt & lifted him off of me. But he quickly got free & went into a martial arts stance. Touya did the same. Tomoyo & Kenji ran up to us. Kenji helped me stand up*
Kenji:
Sora: Yeah. I'm okay.
Tomoyo:*to Sakura* Are you alright!? Sakura!
Sakura: I'm okay. But Touya . . .
*The two of them glared at each other*
Touya: That's an unusual stance. It must be Chinese.
*The two of them kept their stances for a while. Until . . . Yukito came running up to the fence, carrying a
Yukito: Hey! I got some *he climbed over the fence & landed in-between Touya & Sayroan* Pork buns! Here.
*He gave the bag to Touya, who dropped his stance*
Touya: Yukito?
*Me, Sakura, Tomoyo, & Kenji all sweatdropped*
Yukito: I got the last ones. I got some pizza buns and some curry buns as well. *he turned to us* Do you want some?
Sakura: Uh . . . Sure.
Sora: I guess . . .
*He gave us all one*
Yukito: One, two, three, four, five, six . . . *he turned to Sayroan* Oh. There's seven! *he went up to him, as he started to look uncomfortable* Here. Have one. *Sayroan's cheeks turned red & he looked like he was scared* Here.
*Suddenly, he ran away, tripping on a rock & falling face-first in the school vegetable garden. He looked back at us & just ran away, until H e turned a corner & was gone*
Sakura: . . . He's not hungry . . .
*We all just stared at where he ran away in shock*
*Later, after school, me, Sakura, Tomoyo, & Kenji were all walking home with Rika*
Rika: See you later then.
*She turned a corner & ran down the street*
Sakura: Bye-bye!
Tomoyo: Bye-bye!
Sora: See you tomorrow!
Kenji: See ya!
*We were about to continue on our way, but I stopped when I realized something*
Sora: Wait. Rika's house isn't down that way.
*Tomoyo leaned in close to my ear, making my face turned red*
Tomoyo: I know. She told me she was gonna go and buy a present. *we all looked surprised* Yeah. For a boy.
Sakura: A boy?
Tomoyo: For a boy she really likes. And guess what? She told me he's older than she is. Just like the boy that you like, Sakura.
*She & Kenji walked away, leaving Sakura with a red face & me surprised by the revelation*
Sakura: Hey, wait!
*She ran after them & I ran after her*
*Soon, we were walking through the park*
Kenji: Have you told Kero about that weird exchange student yet?
Sakura: No. We tried calling, but didn't answer.
Sora: If I had to guess, he probably fell asleep. Once he's asleep, it's absolutely impossible to wake him up.
Tomoyo: That sounds just like him
*Suddenly, there was a big flash of lightning across the sky. Dark clouds started to roll in overhead*
Sakura: Oh no! Lightning! And it's starting to rain! C'mon!
*Everyone in the park ran for cover. We all ducked underneath the Penguin King slide in the playground*
Tomoyo: A storm!
*Sakura covered her ears as another flash of lightning & a loud crack of thunder filled the sky. I wrapped my arms around her to keep her calm. But then we noticed something*
Sora: That's strange. It's not raining.
*Suddenly, a bolt of lightning hit a lamp post, causing it to light up. The lighting then moved to the other posts, making them light up too. It then chased after a repair man & went back into the sky. A second later, all the clouds were gone*
*Sakura & I ran back home & up to her room*
Sakura & Sora: Kero! Kero!
*We found him floating in the air, asleep*
Sora: Kero, this is no time to be sleeping! Something really bad has just happened!
*He still didn't wake up. We both took a deep breath*
Sakura & Sora: KERO!
*That woke him up & crashed into the wall*
*After we changed out of our uniforms & made some tea, we told Kero everything that happened today*
Kero: Li Syaoran? *he took a sip of his tea* He's got from the Li Family.
Sakura: Who?
Kero: I know them. The Father of my Master, Clow Reed, was English, but his Mother was Chinese. So much of the Clow Reed's magic arts are a combination of both western and eastern magic. Even the magic you both use has English and Chinese characters, right?
Sora: Right.
Kero: The magic your using now was specially created by my Master, Clow Reed. It's a kind of a sorcery that's been passed down from long ago. If you follow the steps carefully and keep the pact, pretty much anybody can use it. But you must realize there are very few sorcerers in the world who can create a completely new kind of magic.
Sakura: Wow . . .
Sora: Amazing . . .
Sakura: So Clow Reed's a great sorcerer.
Kero: Well, he does have some problems.
Sora: Really?
*Kero seemed to realize what he just said*
Kero: Anyway, the Li Family are from Clow Reed's Mother's side of the family and come from a line of prowess, famous throughout China.
Sakura: Really?
Kero: So this Li boy is related to Clow Reed. *he took another sip of tea* I'd heard a rumor that the Li Family had moved to Hong Kong. Which seems must've been true.
*Sakura took out all the cards we found*
Sakura: Well if that's the case, then we should've given him these cards after all!
Sora: Sakura! We can't!
Kero: Sora's right! *he floated up & started to glow. he floated over to the desk & opened a drawer* Remember when you and Sora first opened the book and woke me up? *the book floated out of it* That was when we met for the first time. And do you remember what I told you back then? *he brought it over to us* That there's a very special seal on this book. It can only be opened by someone with especially strong magical powers. *just then, the cards started to float around us* That means only you and Sora are qualified to use these cards. They've got your names on them.
*We both smiled. Suddenly, my phone rang. I answered it*
Sora: Hello?
*My heart skipped a beat when I heard Tomoyo's voice on the other side*
Tomoyo:*off-screen* Sora?
Sora: T - Tomoyo!
Tomoyo:*off-screen* Look outside. The sky!
*We all went to the window & saw that the sky was covered with darker clouds than earlier*
Sora: I see it! It's just like before.
Tomoyo:*off-screen* I've already called Kenji. You and Sakura meet us at the park.
*Later, we were all at the park. Sakura was wearing a pair of black cat ears with pink inner lining, a pink apron-style dress with a frilly skirt of great volume & matching the frilly sleeves that has a large volume as well over a black long sleeved turtleneck dress, black stockings, a pair of pink & black ankle boots & a black cat tail extending from under the skirts. I was wearing a pair of black cat ears with pink inner lining, a black butler jacket over a white dress-shirt, a pink bow-tie, black pants, white socks, & black shoes & a black cat tail extending from under the belt (look up "Sora (Episode 7 Costume)" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt"). Kero was wearing a collar with a pink bell on it*
Tomoyo: You'll be dealing with lightning. I made your outfits out of rubber so you won't get electrocuted.
Sora:*in his mind* She's so kind and smart . . .
Kero: And the bells?
Tomoyo: They're non-conductable material too.
*She started filming us*
Kenji: But why a cat theme?
Tomoyo: Just cause they look cute.
*My face turned red*
Sora:*in his mind* She thinks I'm cute.
*More lightning flashed & it started to move across the roofs of buildings. For a split second, I thought I saw the face of some kind of animal*
Kero: Did you see that?
Kenji: Pretty scary.
*Sakura & I got out a card*
Sakura & Sora: Fly!
*Wings grew on our wands& we took to the sky. Kero was right behind us*
Kero: So you said the Li boy had a compass board, right?
*Sakura nodded*
Sakura: With lots of funny writing on it.
Kero: Clow Reed once told me that there was a compass board kept at his Mother's house! That kid might figure out that Thunder's here and show up as well. So we've got to go get the card before that happens.
Sora: Don't worry. I know we can handle him.
*Suddenly, Thunder came towards us. We dodged, but it started chasing us. We landed on the roof of a building*
Sakura: So how can we get the card?
Kero: First you have to return it to it's true form.
Sora: It's true form?
Kero: Ready?
*Thunder was coming towards us again. We brought out another card*
Sakura & Sora: Jump!
*We jumped to avoid the attack. We went across the tops of buildings with the card right behind us, jumping from lamp post to lamp post. We then landed on the street & ran. We then jumped onto the roof of a school, stopping at the top of a clock tower*
Sakura: So what's Thunder's true form?
*It was getting closer*
Kero: Let me think . . . Thunder . . .
Sayroan:*off-screen* Don't you know?
Sora:*in his mind* Oh great.
*We looked down & saw Syaoran was wearing green Chinese robes & holding a sword*
Sakura: Hey look, it's Li!
*He got his sword ready*
Syaoran: God of Lightning, come to my aid!
*He fired his own bolt of lightning at Thunder & they collided. Thunder then landed on the roof. Syaoran jumped down from the tower*
Sora: It's just like my dream!
Sakura: Mine too!
*Thunder then turned into a bestial, lion/wolf-like with a body composed entirely of electricity which glowed an icy-blue color, roaring. It looked like it was in pain*
Sakura: Hey look!
Syaoran: You catch it once it's become Raijū the Thunder Beast. Didn't you know that?
*I gave him a side glare*
Sakura: What's that?
*Kero started to get as annoyed as I was*
Kero: I was just about to explain that to them!
*Thunder looked at us. Sakura stepped behind me as she got out a card*
Sayroan: Don't be a fool. Wind can can't stand up to Thunder.
Sakura: But we've caught other cards using the Wind Card.
Kero: There's a lot of things I might call someone like you, but only "idiot" comes to mind right now!
*Thunder stepped towards us. I tried to think of a plan as it got closer*
Sayroan: Do you have the Shadow Card?
Sora: Yes.
Sayroan: Good. *we got out the card & he got his sword ready* God of Wind. Come to my aid. *he swung his sword, sending Thunder off the roof & into the schoolyard* Now!
*We got our wands ready*
Sakura & Sora: Shadow! *the Shadow Card trapped Thunder in a ball of shadows. we jumped down to it* Now return to your true form, Clow Card!
*We touched the ball with our wands & Thunder turned back into a card. Sakura picked up Shadow & I picked up Thunder*
Sayroan: Those are the Staffs of the Seal. Boy, you two don't know much, do you?
*Sakura started to look sad. I got really mad & was about to give me a piece of my mind, but Kero beat me go it*
Kero: Hey. Don't be so mean! They haven't been doing this for very long, you know!
Sayroan: What's that?
Sakura: It's Kero.
Sayroan: What? You mean this is Keroberos, the Guardian Beast? *he stared at Kero for a minute* You're telling me the Guardian Beast is a . . . Stuffed animal?
*Sakura sweatdropped & I grinned mischievously*
Sora:*in his mind* He's gonna regret that.
*Just then, Kero bit him on the finger he was using to point him, making him yelp in pain*
Sakura: Kero!
*Sayroan waved his hand around, with Kero still on his finger. Kero soon let go & glared at him. Sayroan then started to leave*
Sayroan: Well, it's been proved you two aren't capable of collecting the Clow Cards.
*Tomoyo & Kenji then arrived on the scene*
Sora: Hey! *he turned to me* Just because you're a descendant of the creator of the Clow Cards, that doesn't give you the right to decide if we can collect the cards or not! This was our decision to make! No one else's. Especially not some wannabe sorcerer!
Sayroan: What was that!?
Sora: You heard me! We'll prove to you how wrong you are!
*We glared at each other for a few seconds. Then he scoffed & stomped away. Tomoyo & Kenji came up to us*
Tomoyo: Sakura, are you alright?
Kenji: Sora?
Sora: Yeah. We're fine.
*I looked a Sakura, who just stared at the cards in her hand*
Tomoyo: Sakura?
*She didn't say anything*
