America's POV

The plane landed in a dense forest, a tiny zigzag path close to the landing pad. As I stepped onto the grass in my high heels, Maxon chuckled and handed me some sneakers.

I am grateful to put them on, happy to wear normal shoes for a change.

He grabbed my hand, and I was pulled towards the path by a very enthusiastic Maxon. His grin intensifying the further away we went from the plane.

In awe, I asked, "Maxon, where are we?" The sly grin made me nervous as he said, " America island. "

I stopped in shock, he bought an island then named it after me just to have the perfect place for a honeymoon. I crossed my arms over my chest for a few seconds, opening my mouth then closing it. Finally, I managed some words, " You didn't!"

"Ahh, there is my dear, you're wrong I did buy an island and named it after you. "

Seeing I was too shocked to move, Maxon picked me up and set off running down the path. I shrieked in protest, playfully hitting his shoulder. Between my shrieks, I said, " I can walk, you know."

He shook his head protesting against my statement, and said, " I wanted to arrive at the house before dark, my d… love."

My smile became larger at the thought that Maxon was trying hard not to say my dear the entire time.

I let Maxon carry me, even though it was complete unnecessary, until we reached the house. He stopped as the door came into view. The house was huge and had its own large pool out front. Lounge chairs were positioned at the pool's sides. The actual house was shocking.

It was a two – story with unnatural big windows and a balcony could be seen from the second level.

I gasped as Maxon pushed open the door, the first room was similar to the women's room back home, but this one flowed into an open-plan kitchen. Before I could admire every single detail, we were running up the stairs, probably to the bedroom.

Another door was pushed open. It revealed a king-sized bed with white bedding, a master bathroom, and balcony doors. In the centre of the room stood our suitcases.

I marvelled over the room as Maxon started unpacking our suitcases. Finally, over my second shock for the day, I said," I'm going to make lunch, care to join. "

He nodded excitedly, following me as I led us to the kitchen. The stocked fridge made the options almost endless as I searched for something to make. I finally decided on chicken with fried rice.

We ate in mostly silence, Maxon ever few minutes complimenting my skills as he tasted everything on his plate.

Once we were done, he asked with a smirk that made my heart melt, " Do you want to go swimming, my dear?"

In a fake irritated voice, I answered, " Yes, but I'll never be your dear. "

I kissed his cheek and rushed upstairs to choose a swimming costume from the big collection packed. I ended up with a dark green two piece that fastened with pieces of ribbon.

Before going down, I checked my reflection in the mirror, adding a new layer of makeup and combing my messy hair.

When I reached the pool, Maxon was already in his swim shorts, exposing his open chest. He waited patiently in the water until I reached him. When I was close enough, he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling my body against his.

As he kissed my open shoulders, I traced my finger along his six-pack, earning a soft moan.

We continued in this fashion till it was too cold and dark outside. My skin was wrinkly as I stepped out of the water, Maxon following close behind.
