Chapter 66: Doubts

"Perhaps maybe we can meet up tomorrow at the train station?" Aichi suggested "You can also come too Manager."

Shin placed a hand on the back of his hand and laughs somewhat shy at the offer.

"What's with the occasion Aichi? You seem eager for others to come?" Miwa looks at his direction.

"Oh uhm, you see, Kenji-san mentioned that he will be coming to visit and thought that this might be a good chance to invite others, my Mom and Emi will also be coming for a visit, so I asked Mina-nee to prepare." Aichi summarized.

"So that is why…" Misaki sighs "Alright you can come."

"Why would I be needing the permission to go?" Shin points at himself sadly.

"Eh, we didn't hear anything about that?" all the toudans eyes are now at Aichi when Yagen spoke about not telling them.

"Aichi-sama so unfair!" Imanotsurugi and Midare shouted for Sayo, Yagen, Nikkari, Kasen, and Souza.

"So you already have a plan but did not tell us again." Yagen sighs fixing his glasses, Aichi started to sweat because of his action and the peering eyes.

"We were actually already informed by Mina-nee, but it is still sad that we have to hear it from her announcement and not from you." Nikkari silently stares at Aichi after that as if guilt tripping him.

"Who is Kenji?" Souza looks at Kasen.

"Beats me, we will find out tomorrow this other friends of Aichi-sama." He smiles and then proceeded to cleaning as did Souza.

"Aichi-kun, are you really sure I can come?" Shin asked.

"Yes, it's fine." Aichi nodded.

"I won't be joining in continuing off to the citadel, I will be helping here for now." Misaki smiles as he informs Aichi but all their attentions turned to a loud groaning.

"So they are not Ninja's" Morikawa slumps down a little making Aichi smile but his burrows were frowning.

"We are swords." Yagen sighs.

"I thought they were cool nicknames though." Morikawa groaned.

"IT'S our real names." Midare added.

Somehow the others are little by little getting annoyed at Morikawa "Still you guys look awesome, and Aichi too!" He closes in on Aichi.

"I bet you look way cooler if you fight!?" Morikawa closes in again as Yagen hastily intervenes between the two.

"Please go back to cleaning so that we could all go home and prepare for tomorrow." Yagen's eyes cannot be seen through the reflection of the glasses, it could only mean that he is not amused.

"Hai hai hai!" Izaki tires his best to get him away from away before a fight ensues.

~A few moments later~

Finally after an hour Aichi and the others have finished the cleanup.

"Alright, thank you for the help, I will go check out the things needed to be bought and tomorrow I will call on for replacements and repair of the shop, before heading at your place with Misaki." Shin informed "So with that the Card Capital is temporarily closed." Shin feels like he wants to cry as he looks around the shop.

"I… I'm sorry, it's because of me…" Aichi paused.

"Its fine Aichi, it's not like you yourself wished for something like this to happen." Misaki cheers him up "Since I will be helping here, me and Shin-san will just be heading straight to the citadel with Team Caesar."

Cheering him up "Come at before noon then, I will be waiting with the others." Aichi bid his farewell first as they headed for the exit.

"Alright we should follow too" Miwa asked as Kai nodded "Let's go too Kamui." Kamui too nodded as they started to also head out.

"Hey how long have you known this?" Morikawa asked in a serious tone before the three completely leaves.

"Not that long, but I suggest to just continue on normally if you don't want to break of the contract and lose all your memories or worse lose your connection with him." Miwa said as the three started heading for outside.

"Do the four of you also have a contract?" Izaki asks stopping the three from continuing outside.

"Ours is a special case." Miwa grinned making Shin look at Misaki.

Noticing that look from him "Don't worry Shin, Aichi and Mina-nee are against putting us in the battlefield, we only go to expedition to fetch resources, this is actually our first time witnessing a battle." Misaki informed Shin to not make him worry.

"Aichi is the one risking his life here and the sad part is that his family doesn't know about this and he hides that fact to keep them from worrying and from something like this." Kai spoke.

"The only ones who know of this so far that we also know is us here, Team Caesar, and that Ren Suzugamori." Misaki added "Although Team Caesar does not know about battles like this, they only know about Yagen and the others." she mentioned.

"The same as Aichi and Mina-nee, we also want this to be kept as a secret but if this keeps going on…" Miwa paused not continuing his words.

"Well for now I can't also help, but I wanted to when I grow up, and since I got a head start I will be much more powerful than the three of you!" Kamui raised both his hands in excitement.

"At the age of 18 we will see." Kai huffed.

"Hope you are good at keeping secrets, as much as possible we would really like to minimize people who would know about this." Misaki sat at the counter trying to calm a frightened Tenchou Dairi.

"By the way how come you were able to ask for reinforcement?" Miwa asked Kamui.

"Oh, I was about to enter the shop when I noticed Aichi-oniisan using his talisman to make a barrier at you guys and saw something scary in front of you guys, I was really frightened to be honest and the only one I thought of asking was Mina-nee because Aichi-oniisan was using his divine powers, so I dialed her number and told her what I saw." Kamui finishes telling the story.

"I bet Aichi will ask the same when they come back to the citadel." Miwa snickered "Welp, I think it's time to head out now Aichi will be curious why we aren't tailing them." Miwa, Kai, and Kamui bid farewell and this time no more stopping them from leaving.

"See you tomorrow Misaki-san!" Kamui bids farewell as did Misaki and Shin.

Morikawa and Izaki in the end looked at each other and decided to also leave the area for tomorrow.

~Back at the Citadel~

"Aichi-sama!" Kiyomitsu came running towards them noticing Aichi and the others have entered with of course Kai, Miwa, and Kamui.

The others stopped from what they were doing as they heard someone call out his name.

"Aichi-sama!" The other toudans speaking out his name one by one, even Ookurikara was somewhat smiling seeing that he is returning home safe from harm.

~After dinner~

Aichi made a short announcement to everyone which they didn't like how things happened to be like that, Mina though supported this thinking that he can have his own decision but made sure to tell the others that since Aichi is too trusting it will be their job to be on the doubting side as support to his decision regarding the people around him.

~Garden~

"Yo! Nosada, I heard you were able to finally battle in your human form!" Izuminokami greets.

"Oh, Izuminokami-kun." He greeted back "Yeah it was a really different, new and a thrilling experience to be able to move like the one who once wielded us."

"Upon our arrival we still haven't been dispatched." Hachisuka mentioned.

"Well it's not always there will be a threat to history." Tsurumaru said.

"And it's been a while since the enemy has also jumped back to an area that we can handle." Shokudaikiri added.

"I'm sure Aichi-sama will dispatch you to areas that he knows you can handle." Horikawa added.

"How was your injury by the way?" Izuminokami asked again.

"Oh, Aichi-sama took care of it on the spot." Kasen answers.

"What happened to the clothes you wore?" Hachisuka curiously asked.

Kasen tries to recall the events "He gave me two options, either discard the clothes or let him repair it."

"What did you chose?" Both Izuminokami and Hachisuka asked in unison.

"Of course I chose to let him repair it, he used his blood sweat and tears to make it, and I will be gladly waiting for it." Kasen smiles as he rubs the area where he was previously injured.

"How about you Souza?" Izuminokami asked.

Souza turned and stares at him for a moment before turning away and looking at the sky "I don't know yet…"

"Eh? I thought you already have…" Yagen was cut off from continuing his words.

"I do feel thankful about giving me this form, but… I don't completely know what he plans for me in the end." Souza answers.

To which Yagen and Horikawa looks and smiles in the end "Well, we won't force you so take your time, I'm sure Aichi-sama understood it." Yagen smiles as he leaves the area as the others continue on to do what they were doing beforehand.

~Smithing Room~

After dinner Aichi was called by Kon with Mina in front of the smithing room and without a word from Mina, Kon could already understand "Now now Mina-kun, although I know you are really against this but I want to test it myself and report it back to master." Mina puffed in defeated hearing those words.

"Alright Mina-kun would you please?" Kon asked politely for Mina to take off the talismans so they could enter the room.

As they entered the room with Mina still against the idea "Alright Aichi-kun if we really want to test if summoning them really makes it hard for your power to summon high level sword especially the big ones like Tachi and above, let us try this."

"I want to see you use a Request Token this time and speed up the process this way we can really see it faster, and I want you to make two different type of swords." Mina once again wanted to protest but decided to wait "I want you to make a special Tachi and a new type of sword, a Yari."

And that is where Mina can't anymore "What?! But Kon-san a special Tachi and a Yari?!" Mina pleaded.

"It will be alright Mina-kun, let us trust in Aichi's power." The same with Mina, Aichi is somehow worried of what might happen, but as Kon said, trust in his own power and that is what he will do.

"Alright, I'll do it." Aichi then proceeded into making a Tachi while Kon instructs him of the recipe he will be needing to make one, and after that he proceeded on making the Yari with again the instruction from Kon on the recipe to make the sword and made sure he got the shape right since this type of sword is different from that he mostly makes.

Placing both the swords on a table Aichi took two Request Tokens from the drawer, then walks back to the front of the two sword.

"Alright Aichi, let me see how you use the tokens." Kon said as he and Mina watches from behind.

Aichi used two talisman and lets them float with the two Request Token, with it Aichi placed the talisman on top of the token, with it as it touches the sword with his prayers, petals and blinding light envelops the whole room from summoning two swords at the same time.

"Although I might be big, my name is Kogitsunemaru. No, I'm not joking. I'm certainly not a fake, either. I'm small! Even though I'm big!"

"I have presently hastened to join you. You may call me Tonbokiri. I am prepared for battle at any time."

And the first thing that popped up to Aichi's mind "So… t-tall…" Aichi stares at the two giants in from of him.

"Oh a little lady as our master I see." Kogitsunemaru smiles at Aichi, crouching down a little noticing that Aichi has frozen from his remark, his somewhat ear looking like hair twitches a little.

And because of that it has caught Aichi's eyes, from the top of Kogitsunemaru's head "An ear?" Aichi caresses the part of Kogitsunemaru's hair that looks strikingly like a fox's ear "It's fluffy." Aichi smiles as he continued brushing his hair which Kogitsunemaru didn't mind, and instead liked what Aichi is doing.

"Aichi-kun completely forgot the remark that he was called a girl again." Mina was shocked as she watches an Aichi happily caressing Kogitsunemaru's hair.

But Aichi heard Mina making him froze again this time he pulls away his hands and hides his face with his two hand with Kogitsunemaru's locks still tangled on his hands and finger "I see that my master thinks my fur is beautiful." Kogitsunemaru said not moving from his position.

"Is there something wrong?" On the contrary Tonbokiri worries at what is happening to his master.

"Its fine it's just he is still not used that he is still mistaken as a girl by new swords." Mina tries to somehow contain her laughter.

The two new sword blinks twice before realization hits "Uhm… Ah… Master, My apologies about my earlier remark!" Kogitsunemaru apologizes while he and Tonbokiri panics.

Aichi slowly pulls away his hands as they noticed the expressionless face from him they decided to keep quiet for a moment "I'll take your measurements first before we head out." Aichi said completely forgetting to introduce himself.

"Measurements?" Tonbokiri repeated.

"It's the clothing that you will be using here in the citadel every day." Tonbokiri and Kogitsunemaru looks at each other and prepares themselves to be measured, but there is just one problem.

Mina still tries to contain her laughter "I can't reach…" He first tried to take Kogitsunemaru's measurement and now he thought of how he will be struggling in taking the measurement of this other huge sword next to him.

"Please excuse me…" Tonbokiri excuses himself as he reaches for Aichi and sits him on his arms, putting down his spear he uses his free hands to support Aichi "Will this make your taking of measurement faster and easier?" Aichi still surprised at the action made greatly holds onto Tonbokiri's clothes a little scared he might fall.

"Don't worry I won't let you fall." Tonbokiri assured and trusting him Aichi continued onto taking Kogitsunemaru's measurements, up next it is Tonbokiri's turn as Kogitsunemaru too copied what Tonbokiri did since it will be much harder into taking his measurement.

"How old is Master?" Kogitsunemaru asks this time somehow Aichi feels drained at his comment moving slowly from taking measurement.

"Aichi-kun is only 15…" Mina answers for him.

"Eh?!" The two are surprised at his stature and did not say anymore and decided to ask someone if they so ever do have other people to ask about it to find answer and some other stuff also.

"…I'm going to re arrange the room assignments, I'm going to ask the others to help you with getting around, since I feel very tired somehow…" Mina and Kon didn't say anymore as they kind of have an idea why Aichi said that.

"Please follow me." Aichi instructed as Kogitsunemaru and Tonbokiri follows him while Mina and Kon decided to be left behind.

"Why did you decide to make Aichi-kun create two new sword after just what happened?" Mina asks worried at what might Aichi end up after the summoning of the new swords.

"If Aichi-kun is stressed and uses a great amount of his divine powers…" Kon paused for a moment as they felt a heavy surge of power from a foreign power that seems to have come from where Aichi is right now "It's much more powerful than before…" Kon said as the surge of power also vanishes in an instant.

"Aichi-kun did mention that he was Cardfighting…" Mina grows ever more worried "When he came back I kind of felt that foreign power for a split second."

Kon nodded "Then it only means that he is more stressed and that Cardfighting is awakening it slowly, making it more prominent." Kon said as he started walking outside "And if it continues on to show itself from time to time without even Cardfighting with him using it without notice, or itself trying to spring out, then it will endanger him."

"Then we will just have to find a solution faster!" Mina although worried before is changed to determination to find solution.

~Garden~

Aichi made his way to the garden with the two new swords with him, with of course surprising the others "Aichi-sama? I thought you were banned on summoning swords for a while?!" Kiyomitsu runs towards him as the others who were in the garden were also caught off guard.

Aichi nodded as the other swords were either surprised and worried though mostly both "Kon-san ordered me to do it to test the capacity of my abilities." Was his simple answer to them.

"But isn't that a bit too dangerous?" Horikawa closes in next.

"It will be fine, I trust Kon-san's judgment and I trust that he will do something if something did ever get wrong." He smiles to assure them all, although it is not working.

But then Mikazuki stood up from his seat at the veranda "Hm?" He stares at Kogitsunemaru "Could you be Kogitsunemaru?"

"Eh?" Kogitsunemaru said in surprise.

"Ah my bad, I am Mikazuki Munechika." He introduced himself but somehow they were closely looking out on what he is doing to Aichi's head.

"M-Mikazuki?" Tsurumaru watches in surprise as Mikazuki roughly ruffles Aichi's head, not just him though everyone is.

"Oh, Mikazuki Munechika." He greets him back and then he remembered the vast question he could think of and the best person he could think he could ask regarding Aichi.

Aichi then yawns making Mikazuki stop from ruffling his hair "Might I escort you to your room then?" Mikazuki smiles at him but Aichi can feel that that smile is different from his normal smile.

"N-No, I will be fine, please take care of Kogitsunemaru and Tonbokiri in my stead, here is a new room arrangement with little changes, I shall be heading to my room and take a rest after I have planned out what they will be wearing." Aichi yawns once again rubbing his eyes in the process "Good night…" as he slowly walks away with toudans worrying if he would even be able to make it back to his room.

Worried, Tonbokiri quickly made haste surprising Aichi once again at his action, he simply carried Aichi into his arms and carried him princess style, surprising not just Aichi but everyone at his bold action "I think it will be impossible for you to return to your room, just give me the direction and I will carry you there."

Tonbokiri started to move forward as the toudans still surprised said their good nights to Aichi "Now that sure is a surprise" Tsurumaru noted.

Because of his action Aichi woke up from sleepiness while he instructs Tonbokiri as he manages to bring Aichi back to his room.

~Aichi's Room~

As Aichi bids good night to Tonbokiri he made his way to the table as he started on drafting the outfit that Kogitsunemaru and Tonbokiri will be wearing, after just a short while.

A drop of liquid fell down on the paper that he is sketching at, stopping his hands from moving "I promised…" He puts down the pencil he is using "That I won't cry…" as hard as he tries to wipe away the tears that falls it persisted on continuing to flow.

"But it just feels so frustrating… to lose like that…"

~Garden~

"Oh new sword?" Miwa greets the others noticing one unfamiliar face.

"Ya' mean swords…" Mutsunokami corrected.

"Eh?!" The two shocked at the news.

"But I thought he was banned on using it?" Kai mentions.

"We thought the same but, it seems they have a different plan." Tsurumaru scratches the back of his head shrugging in the process.

"When were they summoned?" Miwa asks in worry.

"Just today…" Kiyomitsu looked solemn making the others fell silent.

"Well let's just acknowledge what Aichi-sama said, to trust them." Horikawa bits his lips.

"You don't look like you accept though." Miwa notices this.

"It's not like we have a second voice here though." Hasebe seems calm which they thought that it might be for the best to just silently watch what will happen next, since they know that there is nothing they can do to what has been done.

"You did remember what Mina-nee said after dinner right?" Yagen mentions.

All the present toudans nodded "That since Aichi-sama is too trusting it will be our job to be on the doubting side as support to his decision regarding the people around him." Yasusada answers as the others nodded to one another to inform of the others and continued on to what they were doing before.

Tonbokiri came after as the other toudans help him familiarize at the area and the other swords, with Mikazuki taking the initiative to be the one to take care of Kogitsunemaru as they sat at the veranda drinking tea with Kai and Miwa since Kamui is with the other Tantous.

"Your actions piqued my curiosity Mikazuki." Kogitsunemaru mentioned as the others toudans who are near them also stood quiet and is waiting for an answer.

"Were you going to scold him or something?" Kai said making Mikazuki smile at his remark.

"You seem to understand quite some things…" Mikazuki commended "My actions was simply to say to not keep things in." He gazes at the tea cup he is holding "I noticed his eyes weren't smiling despite the fact his lips were forming into one."

The others felt silent as they continued on to listening to his story "If he were indeed happy, he would have been really overjoyed at summoning a new family member but…" Mikazuki seems a little hesitant to answer.

"I-is that why Aichi-sama looked like it was just normal?" Gokotai took notice of.

Mikazuki's smile didn't fade "Brilliant…" His remark confused them "You certainly have known and understood about now how Aichi-sama reacts whenever he summons one of us right? He smiles ear to ear and always looks excited especially the time that he will be making outfits for us." Mikazuki's smile faded a little while the others looks sadly at one another at the realization "Which he kind of forgotten mine…"

"Ugh…" Some toudans reacted while listening to his story, Kogitsunemaru and Tonbokiri were confused though but still continues on to listen.

"Although he is still happy about the fact that he summoned them successfully, but there seems to be something that is bothering him, and my actions were something around the corner of 'if you have something that is bothering you, you could always tell us what it is'." Mikazuki laughs before taking a sip of his tea.

"Maybe it was because of that earlier cardfight." Yagen theorize.

Kai sighs "With what is happening inside unfocused, he would really just end up losing." He stated making the other understood the bitterness that is currently eating Aichi up.
