She locked eyes with her mother gnawing on her lower lips as she glanced at her father who smiled and nodded for her to continue.

She peered at a confused-looking Mikoto and Fugaku Uchiha.

"Well... where do I begin?" She let out a shaky breath stifling the need to cough as all eyes fell on her.

"How about you start from the beginning, hun." She knew her mother was trying to help her feel comfortable but that was not the case. She knew what she was doing was wrong and now everything has gotten out of control.

It was Mikoto who broke the silence, "Is the rumor true?"

She bit her bottom lip lowering her head but nodded anyway. "Does this have something to do with our son?"

She paused, as her palms began to sweat, but she reluctantly nodded again.

"I see." Mikoto rose to her feet leaving without a second word, leaving a very confused Fugaku in her wake.

The three guardians looked amongst themselves but Fugaku just shrugged. He would soon find out what was all about.

Her head jerked up, "W-wait..." it was too late Mikoto was gone most likely on her way to visit Rin and Tsunade-dono.

The three powerhouses were sitting across from both unhappy households.

As Tsunade sat at her desk, Rin leaned against the desk to her left and Shizune to her right. Each woman had her arms crossed defensively. Rin wasn't happy about being questioned again about her choice.

"So, what is the meaning of this?" She vocalized her displeasure.

Mikoto spoke from her seat much to her husband's objection. "I want my son's marriage annulled!"

"What?" The brunette hissed even though Tsunade was curious. The last time she checked the boys were Ok...

The raven turned to her unborn grandchild's grandparents and mother. "It seems our son has been keeping a secret from all of us."

"Enough! Please just get to the point."

The Haruno household which had been silent during it all chose to speak up. "The Uchiha boy has taken advantage of our daughter! They were in a... uh... a sexual relationship."

Rin's lips pressed. Her chocolate pools snapped over at Sakura who had her head down and was silent she made no eye contact no effort at pleading her case. She was just sitting there like a statue.

"So, you both believe the marriage should be annulled over some silly love triangle? Is that right?"

"She's pregnant!" Mikoto declared.

All three women jumped. Rin's arms dropped. She remained silent throughout the entire incident, which attracted the attention of the entire room.

"Well, is it true?"

Sakura kept her head down. It was like the entire weight of the room was pushing on her shoulders sinking her further down into the wood of her seat.

Something is not adding up here, for a girl who insists on finding out the baby's father. She had her parents and the alleged baby's father's parents here to ruin a blossoming marriage. Why is she being coy now? Unless she has something hidden or feels embarrassed. In all of this, no one has considered Naruto or Sasuke's feelings - They are just ready to act without knowing the full story. Tsunade was glad she didn't have to deal with matchmaking issues on a daily basis.

She was just here to mediate whatever was going on with the two households sitting in her office.

Sakura began to shake. Her hands gripping on the fabric of her outfit as she held back her spiking emotions.

"Don't stress her out what about the baby?" Mikoto moved over to Sakura's side muscling both her parents out of the way.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she shook her head, no, but her words did not even match her nonverbal cues.

"Yes, it's all true!" And as soon as the words left Sakura's mouth she knew she messed up. "No, it's not true!-" She screamed.

"-Don't mind her she's hormonal and has been under a tremendous amount of stress, she is unmarried with a child." Her mother stepped in embracing her daughter's small frame.

Rin wasn't convinced. Her annoyance was ever-present. "Now Mikoto have any of you taken into account Naruto's feelings."

"They hate each other!"

"No... no that is... uh far from the truth." Rin could help but chuckle. Where have they been living under a rock?

"I haven't heard from or seen my son-in-law in a couple of days. I fear they are not taking their duties seriously."

"Duties," Tsunade had placed a calming hand on the brunette's shoulders.

"Everyone could be happy Naruto could be free from the burdens of marriage. He never wanted to be married in the first place and Sasuke and Sakura will no longer have to keep this a secret."

"Your request is denied."

"What are we going to do about Sasuke's unborn child and the mother, no one will marry a girl that has been... well you know."

"I rather we discuss this further while all parties are present."

"What about poor Sakura the stress is not good for the baby!" Mikoto protest. She wasn't going down without a fight.

"I'm sure the stress you're going to cause Naruto isn't good for his baby either!" Tsunade countered, it was like the room went completely still not a word or a sound. Everybody was staring at her as if she had sprouted a third eye.

"What?"

"Naruto is with child?"

Shit. For crying out loud, it shouldn't be a big secret in the first place, she believed subconsciously.

"Yes, I sent Sasuke on an escort mission to help preoccupy his mind and hands for that matter. They have been getting along quite in fact there's been an abundance of complaints, because of it."

"I believe it would be for the best that Sasuke marries Sakura. However, the Uchiha clan will still recognize Naruto's child as one of our own."

"What makes you think the both of them will agree to this?" Rin was outright appalled.

"Because he's, my son."

Boring would be one word to describe the escort mission. A makeshift road was rough from years of constant use by wagons and riders, and every so often they would get caught in unexpected showers and have to stop their journey to cover the building material consisting of wood, steel, dry concrete, stone, and much more from the elements, or they would have to stop for the oxen to rest.

Sasuke and Kakashi alternated scouting ahead of the four wagons containing valuable supplies for The Land of Waves. Since Konoha was considered a hidden village and had its own militia, they relied heavily on them.

There were no attacks no traps just endless walking and scouting as the oxen pulling the wagons went at their normal leisurely pace, it the pair wanted to they could with ease out walk the wagons at this point, give it the supply weight over a ton.

As his pupil finished scouting ahead for tracks or traps, Kakashi joined him.

Once it was dark out and the oxen were at their limit, they retired for the night and set up a decent size camp.

The drivers of the wagon had perched around the fire eating and telling tales of a vengeful ghost that stalked these woods. Though the Sensei remained outside with the drivers' sharing stories. Although Kakashi seemed comfortable and at ease, both Shinobi were on guard listening to the chirping of crickets and if they would suddenly change or stop. They also listened to the snap of twigs and the crunching of leaves.

Sasuke remained in his tent even as he attempted to fall asleep. However, it was of no use. His mind was back on Konoha and a certain blonde that remained back there. As much as he tried to focus on a particular spot in his tent it was no use.

He was back to reliving the festival, again and again, grappling with the urge to touch himself. As Naruto's body plagued his mind, he hated what had become his thoughts about him. He craved the warmth between those sandy-colored thighs, the fingertips dancing on his flesh, and the sound of his name slipping from those parted lips every few seconds.

Oh, what he'd give to just kiss them one more time. There would be no harm in a brief release- the tip of his fingers remained teasingly at the hem of his pants as he imagined those azure pools that any fool could get lost in.

He slid his hand past the hem. Until now, he had never touched himself in that way, praising himself with images of another, but everyone has their first experiences there was nothing to be ashamed about. Taking hold of himself he imagined it was his favorite blonde as he fell into a smooth rhythm.

"-hey you got a minute?" His sensei had popped his head in his tent. If he wasn't so preoccupied with masturbating, he would have heard his sensei approach.

Immediately, the raven pulled his sleeping bag over himself, shielding his late-night activities from Hatake's keen eye.

"No, it's late and I'm tired." With a red face, he curled into his sleeping bag trying to farce sleep hopefully the silver-haired fox did not see anything.

"I see..." Kakashi did not sound convinced. "It's about Naruto."

In a blink, all his inhibitions were gone and he sat straight up his full attention on his sensei.

"What happened?"

"I realize it isn't my place, but I fear if you remain in the dark any longer it might become an even bigger issue."

His sensei was standing completely in his tent hovering above him like an ominous shadow.

"You know how you had doubts about Naruto doing the impossible."

He sat there wide-eyed.

"Well, I think once you hear this you'll become a believer."

He wasn't hinting at what he thought he was... No, no that was impossible.

In an instant, he was up on his feet ready to leave, and was snatched by his shoulder. "Hold on lover boy. We still have a mission to complete."

"Do you honestly think I could sit here now knowing the news? I told him I didn't want children and I left him." He was angry at Kakashi. He could have kept that tidbit of news to himself.

Knowing Naruto was alone with his parents, how could he remain vigilant? There was no way to express how he felt. It upset him more that this was coming from his sensei rather than his wife.
