Chapter 73: Prank Chaos!
~Later that evening –Aichi's room-~
After being checked by Yagen and had fun in the baths with everyone, Aichi happily hums in his room while changing his pajamas, though while changing he stops upon seeing his reflection in the mirror, unmoving for a short while he walks slowly after to the mirror Aichi pulls down his pajamas a little to show the wound he attained "I didn't think that with just a short time, I would attain this many injury…"
Although the other wounds have already disappeared and didn't end up becoming scars because of Yagen and Mina's help, he can still feel as if he still has it on him, but right now the visible injury he has although almost healed it is still visible and will sometimes throb giving him pain. Slowly reaching for his wound he hesitates if he should really continue, but in the end he places a hand on it, although knowing it's not fully healed his shoulders doesn't hurt as much as it should be.
Thinking of how scary and painful attaining an injury was he remembers the pained and hateful expression on their faces, Aichi shivers at the thought if it will be possible that they will turn into retrograde armies if he so does either perish or something from the immense negative emotions, on a second thought he remembers their previous owners disregarding his earlier thoughts "I'm not as important as the owners they once love."
Continuing onto changing, Aichi tries his best to get it off his head and instead continues on with the new batches of clothes for the newly summoned Touken Danshis.
~Hallway~
"Are you really sure we should continue this?" Yasusada has second thoughts about their certain meeting at the hallways.
"Well we are already here, why back out now?" Kiyomitsu shrugs.
"I just feel like we would be getting a scolding by Mina-nee…" Yasusada shivers a little at the thought.
"If 'ya will be having a second thoughts in the end 'ya shouldn't have joined in the first place." Mutsunokami lightly taps his back.
"Besides if we execute this right we will not get scolded if we make our tracks clean that is." Tsurumaru brags.
"You make it sound like you aren't sure…" Yasusada showed a blank face to Tsurumaru.
"W-well knowing what this plan is for, I specifically asked for your help, although the others helped voluntarily and if you didn't even want to you could have declined." Tsurumaru grins to Nikkari and Mutsunokami then raises a brow to Yasusada who is having second thoughts.
"Fufufufu… There are two reasons, first is why you sought help and second it's because this looks fun. " He smiles back to Tsurumaru.
"I agree though." Mutsunokami laughs.
"Well then… what will it be?" Tsurumaru points at a hallway as Morikawa, Izaki, Kenji, Gai, Shin, Miwa, Kamui and Kai passes by.
"Man! I feel like I want to stay here forever!" Morikawa shouts from the other hallway. "Now I can understand why you want this place all to yourself!" he laughs after.
"It's not that we want this place only to ourselves though…" Miwa sounds like he isn't happy one bit.
"I'm going to ask Aichi to come here after school every day! I would rather play Vanguard here every day than at Card Capital!" Morikawa continues to laugh.
"That kind of hurts…" Shin spoke.
"So many foods to eat, such nice scenery and you can order the people here to do what you want!" Morikawa spoke.
"And this is exactly why we don't want you to come…" Kamui spoke.
"It's only because of Aichi that you are able to come." Miwa grumbles as their voice become slowly getting faint.
"And the reason why you are still alive up till now…" Surprisingly it was Kai that spoke it seems that even he was ticked off.
"Since I am Aichi's Mentor in Vanguard and he is my disciple it is his duty to do my every bidding! So it is natural that even those who is under him is also under mine!" Morikawa laughs at the other side their voices now very faint.
And at this time it took three toudan to stop him from getting to Morikawa "LOSE YOUR HEAD AND DIE!" his voice was full of anger and irritation, add to it the feeling of disgust and annoyance from Morikawa. Still wriggling trying to get off their grasp, Kiyomitsu was holding his waist, Nikkari was on his right arm, and then Mutsunokami was on his left, while Tsurumaru is in front of him to stop him from getting past him if ever he does get free.
"Well Kai is certainly right, He would have already been dead if it wasn't for Aichi-sama." Nikkari laughs as all the toudans showed a very dark and gloomed faces as they all turned to the direction where Morikawa and the others are.
"So what will it be?" Tsurumaru asks smiling to Yasusada as they all turned to normal.
"I'm in!" Without a second thought Yasusada answers.
"So that settles it! The reason for joining this mission is because of that exactly!" Tsurumaru clenches his fist nodding to his resolve for this plan "We will commence our plan!" Raising his hands "Are you guys ready?" Tsurumaru asks everyone.
"Yes!" The eight responds back to him with determination.
"Alright! Let's start you guys know what to do!" Tsurumaru smiles as they all part ways "Commence plan!" Tsurumaru raises his hands as they nodded from his command.
The nine toudans who left a few moments ago a little while after dinner started their scheme at the hallways of the citadel.
~Late Night~
At the quiet night of the hallways there in the dark hallways comes steps stomping from someone unsure just from his steps although he kept on continuing to find the right path.
"Damn! I should have asked someone to accompany me." The voice said from the cold dark hallways.
A little further into the darkness, although it wasn't pitch black or no visibility but it was certainly dark and quiet especially cold to him, it was surely unsettling for him because of the unknown and unfamiliar surroundings.
"Oh!" he exclaimed seeing a door with a sign on top that says toilet "I finally saw the toilet!" He quickly runs towards the said room then turns the knob as he enters the room.
"Switch, switch, switch, where is the switch…" Lightly tapping through the walls of the room he tries his best to look for the said switch, luckily there is a red dim light that indicates the switch is over there "Oh that must be the switch." He said as he immediately pushes it and the lights finally turned on "Phew" he sighs of relief it was Morikawa who was finding for the toilet for dear relief.
After finally relieving himself and is about to leave the room the lights suddenly turned off itself, at the sudden realization he then starts to panic frantically looking for the light switch but to no avail.
"T-the l-light, the light, w-what happened to the light?!" he stuttered while panicking looking all over the place for the switch, although the switch didn't leave its place, it was because he was panicking too much that he can't find it.
"Are you looking for the switch?" A younger voice asked, which seemed to belong to a little girl.
"Yes?!" He answered but then Morikawa has thought of something much more terrifying than not finding the light switch.
His mind went blank in an instant frozen stiff from where he is standing as the lights somehow turned on itself. In just seconds something that felt like soft silk touched the top of his head, slowly inch by inch he felt it on his nape, not wanting to clarify what that sensation on his back he swallows his saliva and slowly reached on the door knob.
"It's probably just insects." He tries to say to himself.
"Oh, are you sure about that?" a deep voice from above said as the voice started to laugh "Fufufufufu…" fuelling his fear.
At that instant all colors from Morikawa faded, slowly his curiosity finally kicks in from fear he slowly turns his head. Little by little he can see green hair from behind him, looking for where did it come from he traces to where the hair is coming from, slowly reaching for the doorknob first, which is something that he should really do and something to be commended of…, before reaching the top from where the hair is coming from, the lights once again turned off surprising him and in an instant a dim light shone from above.
"Good evening…" the figure said where the light is illuminating from.
Morikawa can't explain nor describe what it looks like except determining it as "GHOST!" he shouted, luckily he has in his hands the knob to the room as he hastily turns it opening it, he instantly runs with haste running for dear life.
Stomping his feet not knowing where he is heading to, going through the hallways without an idea to where it will lead him, he was instantly met with something like a sticky barrier, his face and body instantly sticks to it, closing his eyes from the impact he felt something crawling on top of it feeling the vibration from all over his body he slowly opens his eyes he saw different kinds of insects crawling all over the other side, although he couldn't understand what kind of insects it was he can definitely understand they were different kinds and still thy are insects that part wont change.
Trying his best to get away from the sticky entrapment not even feeling the pain from the flesh stretching and trying to get unstuck from the entrapment, slowly he feels like it would be impossible and just let it be thinking it would be best to wait for help to unstuck him until "Do you need some help?!" A cheery voice called out to him.
Since he can't see everything from getting stuck on the sticky trap and the creepy crawlies on the other side, from the crevices from the creepy crawlies he can see ghostly feet glowing from the other side of the trap.
Though the voice reaching out for aid did actually help as he was able to get away from the sticky trap, feeling the pain from getting unstuck and the fear surging through him he instantly shouted with how much lungs capacity he has "AAHHH!" Running for dear life again his shout instantly catches the sleeping or not sleeping toudans attention from the whole area as Morikawa once again runs to a different direction for dear life and someone who can save him from this nightmare.
Running into another corridor he instantly saw a shining and glittering box, curious as he was his fear subsided a little as it gave a somewhat little hope to him, hoping that it could be something useful, but you shouldn't trust things like pretty boxes in this kind of situation.
Slowly crouching down thinking there might be something that could help him since at this point he doesn't even feel like he is at the citadel anymore, he opens up the box but then his hope was shattered in an instant, inside the box were 5 pair of eyes staring at him glowing looking at his movements, understanding and knowing that box wasn't safe and it is very dangerous, he hastily stood up and turned heel before being surprised at the sudden popping out of the creatures inside the box, saving him from the deadly surprise.
"Where am I!" Morikawa shouts "Am I still in the citadel?!" He questions "I should have really asked someone to come with me!"Not thinking straight anymore and not knowing which corridor he is nor thinking if he is even in the same place anymore, he continues to run looking for any sight of real people or even the outside "This place is just too big!" he shouted but then a thought crossed his mind, what if the reason the area became so big was because he wasn't even at earth anymore, what if he is already on the other side?!
Slowly running from the realization on his recent thought, on the latest corridor he turns too he felt like he just stepped on something… soft? In an instant the floor splits into many pieces leaving no trace for his foot to continue walking through and fell down, with his last thought in mind he thought "Ah, I must be falling down to the underworld…" although in truth he only fell on the ground as almost half of his body was submerged under the floor, realizing it he tries his best to get out of it to continue on finding the real world.
"Are you having trouble over there?" Once again he hears another voice.
"Are you sure you want to get out there though?" Another one asked as he laughs at his condition.
But then before his mind went completely blank once again, he noticed and felt below him that the part where he is submerged inside he feels vibration of something or many things were crawling underneath all over the area, looking below him there were other different type of insects again for sure even if he can't 100% see what they were.
Not knowing what to do anymore the only solution he thinks would do is to squirm and try to get out of the hole he fell unto "We can lend you a hand." The first voice that asked said to him.
Fully stunned, confused, and scared he waits for the said hand to be stretched unto him, "Here…" the first voice stretched out his hands, examining the hand stretched out in front of him it has a noticeable color painted onto its nails, painted in red specifically, the owner of the voice who stretched out his hand's yukata slowly runs down through his arms he identified the color as red.
"I can help you too… if you want that is…" The other voice asked stretching out his hands showing his hand to him he notice that this one is wearing a blue yukata, but the area was dark that he can't see their faces clearly nor what they are, even from the closeness if he would even identify them as even human? Are they alien? Are they only just hands and actually their whole body are of alien? Or are they actually Ghosts? Something that is very much understandable in what the hell is happening to him by now.
At this part Morikawa's mind is already blank and can't think anymore, by now he is already a soulless body and only an empty shell not even passing out even if he wanted to that even if on his feet there were bugs squirming, on top there are two hands reaching out to help him but he is reluctant to take it, as it could take him to somewhere that he doesn't want to and torture him, or worse eat him alive.
Thinking himself if something could get even worse a hand lightly tapped onto his shoulder, jumping from the sensation he didn't think that there are other more things that could be playing with him, other than those that already had fun with him it seems they still aren't finished and still wants to continue torturing him. Somehow he just wants to wait and get it all over with when the sun rises and hurry home and never come back her, but if he ever does come back, maybe ask someone to accompany him. But with this surprising and scary events he doesn't even know if he can go alone even at the comfort of his home just trying to get to the toilet.
Thinking that what could be worse than being swarmed below him with insects and the two hands stretching out to him he slowly turns around and saw nothing behind laughing inwardly "Figures…" he thought to himself but then he felt something tickle his cheek stopping for a moment getting himself ready for another surprise and it never lets him down, instantly a light flashed and said something "Boo!"
And with that Morikawa lost consciousness being the last strike from the overwhelming stress from fear, adding to it that foam kept bubbling and oozing out from his mouth, then finally movements can be heard all over the surroundings as two claps were heard, the lights turned on and shone throughout the hallways of the citadel.
As the light shone Tsurumaru can be seen standing behind the unconscious with foaming mouth Morikawa with Yasusada and Kiyomitsu in front of him with a smile of success from the three.
Because of his fear, bewilderment and how they give him aid they know they will be mistaken as not a normal entity of this world above and of course the experience happening to him, it did not process onto his mind that it might be the other toudans reaching out aid for him, since right at this time, with what is happening around of course it won't be the first thing you would be thinking of.
"I actually didn't think it would be a success…" Kiyomitsu raises his hands watching the unconscious Morikawa twitch a little.
"It was a complete success…" Yasusada said clapping the hands Kiyomitsu raised then crouches down on the unconscious Morikawa.
"Too much that is…" Tsurumaru raises his brow placing his hands on his knees while squatting a little while he stares with amusement at Morikawa, added to it that his mouth foamed from the overwhelming fear he has experienced.
"I guess with that he would have been much traumatized." Nikkari walked to them while fixing up his hair.
When the stomping of feet stopped they noticed that they were surrounded "So much for we'll make our tracks clean…" Yasusada sighs seeing that everyone, well almost everyone has surrounded them.
"Do you regret joining?" Kiyomitsu asked smiling to him.
"Not one bit!" Yasusada smiles back to him.
"Then I guess you won't regret it when I punish the nine of you right?" Although Mina hasn't shown her aura of execution it means that there is a reason why she isn't that 100% mad.
"Oh, now that a surprise for us, you aren't that mad." Tsurumaru emphasizes on the word that and smiles to Mina noticing that the others that joined him has come back too.
He too of course is a very crafty toudan it was expected, looking away Mina answers Tsurumaru's curiosity "W-well it's not that I am not against it, although I am really against it but…" she pauses.
"But?" Kiyomitsu and Yasusada repeated.
"But he has to kind of… you know…?" She pauses from her words once again.
"Oh I get it, you just wanted to say that it's fine that we did this!" Mutsunokami lightly taps his fist on top of his open hand.
Since she was seen through there should be no more going around the bushes and sighs "To be honest I am fine with you guys punishing him for Aichi-kun's sake… but…" at that point they start sensing the dark aura from Mina, the aura of execution! The others flinch at this show of power "But… damaging the citadel…" Mina did not need to say anymore as they all understand what she will say next and what she meant about her words.
"S-sorry, we did plan on cleaning out our traces before you guys wake up but we didn't think he would scream before the end of it all." Tsurumaru places a hand on his nape while looking away.
"I was going to repair back the broke floor." Mutsunokami laughs.
"We were actually cleaning up before you guys came and stop us and instead went here!" Imanotsurugi explained with Midare nodding.
"Yeah, we were on cleaning up duty." Hakata and Gokotai pulls up the box and the tiger cubs that were on the shining box prank.
"That's because we have to get the evidences intact." Yagen said making Hakata, Gokotai, and Midare flinch.
"I was worried for a second of what might have happened." Horikawa sighs of relief.
"I could have sworn we somehow got infiltrated or something…" Izuminokami sighs too which Yagen, Shokudaikiri, Taroutachi, Kasen, Yamanbagiri, and Horikawa nods to, not Ookurikara though who were the present toudan at this time.
"Well at least we have an idea of what might have happened, since everyone woke up from the scream we have to stop Aichi-sama's guest from going out of their rooms and asked them to wait in their rooms for further notice, while we asked for Tonbokiri, Hasebe, Hachisuka, Souza, and Sayo to guard their rooms." Shokudaikiri places his two hands on his waist as he too sighs in relief.
"This is somehow an act of inelegance but from what I have heard, this is an elegant justice!" Kasen mentions nodding to their acts.
"We have extinguished something evil, indeed." Taroutachi nods with him.
While Yamanbagiri, Shokudaikiri and Yagen thought that what they're saying is "Too far…" as Yamanbagiri, Shokudaikiri and Yagen also sighs since inside them they kind of still agree to what they are saying.
"Wait a Minute!" Kiyomitsu surprised everyone from his reaction "Does that mean the insect wall hasn't been torn down yet?!"
"Yeah, we were supposed to bring back the insects first…" Mutsunokami explained.
"Yes and we were helping!" Midare raises his hands and so did Imanotsurugi.
Everyone who is present can clearly see panic and too much sweating of Kiyomitsu and then at that moment "AAAHHHHH!" A scream was heard and it seems that it has come from…
"Aichi-sama?!" the toudans panic at the instant hearing of Aichi's scream of fear.
Kiyomitsu sighs surprising the toudans and Mina placing a hand on his forehead thinking that it might be serious… or…? "He is very afraid of insects…" everyone sweat drops as they heard the reason for his scream while Kiyomitsu continued on with his story "In the citadel you won't see such insects since before he would be able to see it, you guys would have dealt with it but there is too many to mention happening in the Sendou residences that kind of…" Kiyomitsu right about now has a blank face on him as he looks away and thought of not continuing his words anymore which of course they understood why.
In just a little while there comes sets of feet walking towards them from the other side "I was wondering what the commotion is all about." Mikazuki comes with someone behind him.
And it was Kogitsunemaru with an unconscious Aichi in his arms "Aichi-sama?!" The toudans panic but decided not to continue on and instead waited for what will Mikazuki says since they noticed that he is fairly calm.
"We were heading out to this area but we noticed that Aichi-sama was frozen stiff staring at a clear wall that inside it were full of insects." Mikazuki waits for Kogitsunemaru to come forward.
"And the next thing we knew was he was shouting his heart out and fainted." Mikazuki finished as he tries to hold onto his laughter.
"Although all you did was laugh…" Kogitsunemaru sighs while Aichi was unconscious in his arms.
"I can't help it, I just found another cute and unexpected side of Aichi-sama, ahahaha…" Mikazuki laughs while the other toudans were speechless. Though they agree that it would have been nice to see that side of Aichi but as for Mikazuki they just stare at him blankly sighing at his reaction.
