29. Chapter 28

Greetings and welcome to the next chapter

First off, hope everyone's doing great so far. I've been good myself and hope this chapter is enjoyable. I always do my best for that. You know from the grammar checking and such, though lately I have been doing my best to also slowly change up my style of writing. But again it's a slow process but a fun one, like this chapter hehe. Which like always, I enjoy writing up. But enough with my ramblings, onto the next chapter.

Four Hearts Of One Journey Ch. 28

The Creed: Pt.4- Final

It didn't take the group too long to get back to the Villa with the natives of the world. A good two hours having passed as the group were making their way inside of the Villa, while the mercs celebrate a bit outside. Team RWBY, their servants, their summons, Donald, Goofy, Guin, Ikail and Dante walking back up the stairs to the villa itself. Alongside Ezio and Mario, as it seemed Ezio still had news to tell Mario and the others.

"The Pazzi answer to another, a Spaniard." Ezio stated, loudly so his uncle and the others could hear clearly enough

"Yeah is it that spooky looking hooded guy?" Ruby asked herself, wondering if that was the case since the hooded man was again really kind creepy from just looks alone

"Si (Yes),he is Rodrigo Borgia. One of the most powerful men in all of Europe and the leader of the Templar order." Mario explained, as it seemed that the older man did know of the so called spooky hooded guy, the others just staying silent listening as they needed to know as much as was being explained currently

"Meaning…" Ezio began to say, realizing what these implications meant to him and his end goal in all of this

"He was the one responsible in the deaths of… your father and brothers." Ikail stated, slightly angered once more at the mere memory of the three unneeded deaths barley even a week ago

"Still need to know about that." Apacci quipped, since Ruby hadn't explained too much on that incident exactly. Erza just elbow her side much to the Arrancar's slight irritation "What I'm just sayin, it would be helpful to know red head."

Erza herself just sighed, rolling her eyes as she could see the others seemed to give the rude Arrancar disapproving looks; even the other three of her kind at her lack of tact. Which helped Erza feel a bit better she wasn't the only one to find Apacci's words a bit too blunt for a subject she knew a more on then the rest of the summons.

"Apacci…" Ruby groaned, a bit sternly but more concerned as she noticed the impassive glances of Mario and Ezio towards Apacci; that along with them slowing down their walk up the stairs "Please be a little more tactful."

"Ugh… fine." Apacci replied back, huffing a bit as she found it better to just go with it right now then get into a fight that would be just a waste of energy

"Yes… well, you are correct Lady Ikail. He is the one responsible for those three's deaths. Be warned to, he will kill you all just like that if given the chance." Mario explained on, as they continued their trek up the stairs to the top where the Villa was once more

"Then I… we must stand against him if we are to be free." Ezio quipped, as he, his uncle and the others had finally made it to the front of the Villa itself. All of them stopping as Ezio faced his uncle Mario "But not until every other Templar has fallen by my blade. Fathers list will guide us."

"Ezio… just don't go too far okay?" Erza said from amongst the group, Ezio just giving her a small nod that didn't tell either if he really heeded her words or not. Which for most who'd gotten to know the young man well, had to admit that was a bit unnerving

"Speaking of that. Where are we to go next anyways?" Atalanta asked curiously herself, as she didn't mind if Ezio was wanting to kill the rotten men on his father's list. No she was fine with it, but she would keep an eye on him when she could just in case he became too enthralled in the killing of others

"Yeah gotta say, I like it here but since we're all sticking together. I'd like to see some other sights ya know?" Saki stated, as a few others like Mordred, Ai, Nursery Rhyme, Mila Rose and Clank all agreed with her on that

"Reasonable Saki. Good to have the kind of attitude, especially in our line of work." Mario exclaimed kindly, before making his way inside the Villa. Ezio and the other non-natives following him moments later "Still, as Saki asked. But where will you go next?"

"Firenze. Francesco de' Pazzi will share the same fate as his son." Ezio simply answered, with a tone that was rather becoming the norm with Ezio as he, Mario and the others made it back inside the nice white marble interior of the Villa stopping once more just around the stairs

"Mama… Ezio's scaring me a bit." Nursey Rhyme muttered to Blake, as she moved behind her mother a bit. Blake taking notice picked her up for comfort, as Yang noticed and was worried too. The others either hadn't taken notice of the rather change in tone of Ezio's or were keeping their silence for later conversations in private

"Sensible enough if you ask me." Dante suddenly stated, as the girls and the others gave him quite the surprised looks considering how he usual spoke "What, it's pretty simple. First rule in war, be it full frontal or in the shadows. Instill a sense of fear and panic into the enemy. Eventually they'll slip and break."

"As much as I hate to say it, I also agree with Dante." Guin quipped, before quickly adding in his own thoughts on the matter "As long as we don't go too far. Like Erza said earlier."

It got a little quiet seconds after that, a slight tension in the room and a change of mood all of sudden. Just from a simply if not serious conversation. Yugiri taking notice herself, clear her throat getting the others attention on her.

"Yes well. Ezio it is a sensible step to take, if what we're hear so far about this Rodrigo is true. I don't think I'm the only one thinking of what evil he could have for the city." Yugiri exclaimed, as she could tell the tension and mood change shifted to a more lighter one. Thankfully by this point, Mario cut back to settle this chat finally

"Alright that's enough grim talk for one night. I'll be in my studies if you need me. You should all get some rest for the night. Tomorrow you're days will only get harder. You'll need to be ready." Mario stated as he gave everyone a nod goodnight before making his way to his studies on the same floor. Once gone, it was quiet before Ezio yawned a bit

"Sleepy much?" Sakura asked, as Ezio chuckled a bit

"Si (Yes) Sakura. I believe I am, I'll be off to be then. Goodnight." Ezio responded back, making his way upstairs as the others watched. Before he stopped looking back at the group just a bit "And ah… thank you. For everything… I mean it."

"Well, like we said earlier. We're basically family now, we'll be here for you for as long as we can. That's a promise Ezio." Ruby answered kindly back, as Ezio just nodded before making his way up. Once gone seconds later, the non-natives were the only ones left "So anyways. I guess we should all get ready for bed too. It's been a long day."

"A bloody one too." Mila Rose cut in, a bit of a chuckle as Mordred, Scathach and Apacci were the only ones who chuckled a bit at the rather accurate assessment of today

"That is true, a bloody one it was. But like Ruby said, let's all get to be now. Better to conserve our energy for what will come tomorrow." Jeanne stated in her more stern motherly tone

"Got ya. Off to bed, come along everyone lets listen to mama Jeanne." Scathach teased, getting a few more chuckles from the others that followed Scathach upstairs. Jeanne sighing as she followed too. The only ones left were Jack, Nursery Rhyme and Lily alongside the girls

"Well. Like Jeanne said, we've had enough fun for one day. So let's get to-" Weiss began to say, before she saw her daughter pull her sleeve to get her attention "Hm, Jack sweetie. What is it?"

"Well um… mama can me, Nursery Rhyme and Lily play outside in the back yard for a bit?" Jack asked a bit nervously and yet excited if they could

"Yeah, yeah please aunties!" Nursery Rhyme chimed in very energetic still, before looking to her mother's "Please ma, mom. Please!"

"Super please, we're still really energized from earlier tonight!" Lily pleaded to all four of the girls to help with two of her newest best friends since they got close during this week. That and the two girls knew her secret, the other one from being undead that was since again that secret had already been exposed to the rest quickly

"No I'm sorry girls. But it's getting late and you all need your sleep." Weiss replied back, being the stern one as she looked at Ruby "And you don't try and say otherwise."

"Hehe… that obvious huh?" Ruby sheepishly asked, as Weiss smirked amused as she gave Ruby a kiss on the lips as a silent yes

"We'll I don't know Weiss. Maybe we should, let them get tired before they get to bed." Blake exclaimed as Weiss a bit surprised Yang wasn't the one to argue with her on it "Besides I'm sure they'll get tired out real quick."

"Yang, what do you think?" Weiss asked her future sister in law this time, since she hoped at least Yang would be on her side since Blake for once wasn't

"Hey don't look at me. I'm good with either, BUT…" Yang stated as she was okay with the kids playing outside, but even she wouldn't let them unless they had one more thing with them "I'm not too fond of you playing at night alone. Even if it's in a city with walls around it. So unless someone goes with you, then it's a no for me."

"That being said too, me and the girls here are tired so I don't think-" Ruby began to explain, as she felt bad to cut the girls play time off. But she'd rather have them a bit upset and rested then tried beyond belief tomorrow. Though suddenly someone unexpected cut her off before she could basically tell the girls no

"I'll watch them." Apacci of all people stated loudly, the girls looking to see she was walking back down stairs still in her attire she'd gotten use to this past week

"You?" Weiss asked, as even now she and most of the others were still very wary of the temperamental woman

"Yeah me. Got an issue with that Ice head?" Apacci quipped in a mocking and teasing manner as Weiss held her tongue not to give her little roses newest and rudest of her four summons anymore reason to be snarky

"Well you haven't really shown much for us to trust you, mind you." Blake snarked back a bit for once, as she was on Weiss side here

"Blake…" Ruby said through her teeth, a bit surprised Blake was starting something as she knew Weiss this week with the summons had been one to start a few verbal fights with Apacci mostly; sometimes even with Mila Rose. Usually broken up quickly by Tier thankfully as Sung-Sun seemed to watch the verbal arguments like soap opera's

"Gotta agree with my ice sis and kitten here." Yang added in just like that with no hesitation as Ruby wanted to just scream into her hands at how her big sister and future sister in law were behaving. Thankfully again, it seemed Apacci wasn't in the more starting a fight mood; so she just seemed to let it be

"Pff, whatever." Apacci responded back as she knew she may not have the best temperaments, but also knew when to just keep her mouth shut… most of the times… kind of. Looking to Ruby, she decided to have her… master be the decider here "Ruby, you're opinion?"

"Hm…" Ruby hummed, sighing a bit as she knew even now Apacci was only a bit okay with her and her role for the time being. But Ruby also could tell, that the rather aggressive of her four new group summons was making an effort to get on everyone's good side. Taking in a deep breather, before letting it out she knew her answer "Alright then. I'll allow it."

"Thank you Ruby." Apacci for once thanked Ruby, as Weiss, Blake and Yang seemed a bit uncomfortable still. But knew that if Ruby vouched her, then they would put their faith in Apacci to look after the kids for a bit

"BUT… only for an hour and a half. No later okay?" Ruby exclaimed, making sure of the ground rules at least. When Apacci didn't answer back soon enough, she decided to be a bit more stern "Apacci. Do you understand?"

"Yeah… sure." Apacci simply answered back, as she seemed a bit irked to be ordered to follow some rules yet also seemed fine enough with it even if she didn't like it

"Good. Then we'll be off to bed, you three stay in Apacci's sight understood?" Ruby stated, in a calm motherly tone as she looked down at the three kids of theirs

"Yes mommy/ Auntie/ Miss Ruby!" Jack, Nursery Rhyme and Lily all answered. Happy as can be that they'd be allowed to play for a bit despite it being past their usual bed time

"Good. Apacci… good night." Ruby simply said, as she stared at Apacci for a few moments as Apacci did the same before she and the girl made their way upstairs ready to get some rest too while leaving Apacci and the kids alone

"Come on. Follow me." Apacci simply said, as Jack, Nursery Rhyme and Lily all followed Apacci. Excited to have some nice, peaceful, joy filled fun even for just a little while…

-With Jeanne-

She had no idea why she was standing in front of his door, she should be getting ready for bed. That and it seemed a bit odd at this time of night to do so. But she was a woman with a mission right now. Was helpful that most of the boys weren't in the room currently. Probably just seeing how the others were doing from today's events, before they got to bed themselves. Which is why Jeanne decided to finally do what she'd decided to do a while ago. Which was to question Dante on a few things… a few very important things.

Why, because even though Jeanne had come to like Dante very well like everyone else aside from maybe Apacci considering the woman's behavior. But anyways, Jeanne though considering Dante a great friend. She couldn't help but wonder more on his origins. Aside from a few snippets she knew which were…

1. He was a Templar from his world, a holy warrior in other words

2. He'd been a solider during his time serving the church, which explained his tactics at times

3. He'd been born in the year 1156, during the time of the Christian Crusades against the Holy City of Jerusalem

That information alone, was as much as it shamed the reborn Holy Maiden. Caused Jeanne to be a bit… uneasy around Dante at times. Her summoning like with the other servants, may not have given the usual knowing she knew they would have received. BUT, that didn't mean their individual knowledge wasn't still there. Jeanne may have been a poor farm girl in her life before giving it up to become Gods holy warrior in the French and English wars.

But Jeanne her whole life had been a devoted Christian, which meant thankfully she was able to read heavily on the history of her beloved religion. Yes she knew there were good things in Christianity, but she also knew that they're were… dark times too. One if you personally asked her, was the multiple Crusades that had been made against the Holy City of Jerusalem. All because they believed a different god. Now Jeanne again believed herself there was only one true god, the holy father himself. BUT, that didn't mean she was one to kill someone over the idea of religion. As long as it hurt no one, she had no idea why anyone would be offended that someone had a different belief system it seemed so… petty.

Still this was why Jeanne was uneasy around Dante, sure again she was a devoted Christian and Artoria alongside Mordred somewhat were too. BUT… Dante seemed he most zealous of them all. Which only added to her worry of the man she called friend. Because if her guesses were right, alongside a few cues of shame like when asked to go deeper in his history. Jeanne fully was confident that Dante was in the Crusades and in his time there had done many, many sins. What kind of sin's he'd done, she didn't know; though that made her shutter a bit.

Jeanne though knew she had to get this going soon before the rest of the boys came back. So taking a deep breath, she knocked on the door to the boys room hoping Dante was in there. Waiting a few moments before it opened, it seemed that Dante in his armor still was inside and pretty awake still too. But smiling when he saw Jeanne.

"Oh Jeanne, nice to see you. Was there something you needed?" Dante kindly asked, but noticed a moment later the rather… serious look Jeanne seemed to have "Is… everything alright Jeanne?"

"Dante, we need to talk." Jeanne simply said, as Dante began to worry a bit if she wanted to talk about… his past. But before he could say anymore, he flinched a bit when she took a step forward giving him a more pleading look like she knew what he was thinking of doing to avoid this very conversation "Please my friend."

"… Alright, come in." Dante replied, offering her to come into the room if not with some hesitation at first. But he didn't want to cause a scene at this time of night, that and he wasn't ready even after all this time to tell the others of his… past fully aside from the small harmless snippets he already told them

Once inside though, with the door closed it was silent… uneasily silent between the two. Dante about to say something at least to break the silence. Stopped as he realized she was really here to talk to him about his past.

"Jeanne I-" Dante began to say, before Jeanne decided to just stop beating around the bush

"Dante… I need you to tell me the truth." Jeanne began to say, as she narrowed her eyes just a bit knowing that there was no turning back now "We're you a crusader in the time during the sieges of Jerusalem?"

"…." Dante didn't say at first, as he and Jeanne stared at one another before he just sighed a little "If I say yes, then what does that mean for you Jeanne?"

"Dante…" Jeanne replied, sternly as she was not going to let Dante talk his way out of this one "As a friend. I need you to be honest with me, when we all came here. Me and the servants. Aside from the kids told you all on our history. With that I only told you personally my own history since I'm not ready to do so yet with the others. So I need you to have that honesty back with me. Isn't that fair?"

"I…" Dante tried to argue, but sighed yet again as he knew Jeanne was not letting this go and was probably willing to start a scene if needed to get her answers "Yes. I was Jeanne."

"I knew it." Jeanne quipped, though internally she was hoping that wasn't the case "Make's sense now. Some of your mannerisms, the things you said today so easily and a few other things about you. All screaming that you were in fact holy warrior. I mean I am too and I know what war does to people. But… we seem so different too."

"Hm… and now you know the truth, so I hope that's satisfactory Jeanne?" Dante responded back, hoping Jeanne would let this go. But Jeanne was many things, one of them as he learned being around the woman these few weeks was she was very stubborn

"No. It isn't, Dante I'm asking because even though I and the servants didn't receive the information's that we would get when summoned. I've read much on the history of our beloved religion. Even if none said it out loud, I know the soldiers there were quiet… brutal with the natives." Jeanne exclaimed, as she felt a bit ashamed to say these facts; but she needed to gauge Dante's reaction to them "I can sense it too in way… you're sins I mean. Maybe it's because of my origins or nature as a holy woman. But I can sense them still, all those sins you've committed; almost all or maybe even all of them."

"Jeanne, are you saying you're… scared of me?" Dante asked, as he narrowed his eyes a bit while crossing her arms and straightening his back

"No. Dante you are my friend that is true. But…I…. I need to know so-" Jeanne tried to explain as she felt suddenly a bit uneasy with Dante's subtle body changes

"So you can assessed I I'm a… DANGER!" Dante yelled a bit, as Jeanne flinched back a bit. Now for most this would seem that his yelling was the cause, but no. Dante knew Jeanne was hard to scare, so her actions told a lot with even having to say anything. Dante sighing a bit as he moved a bit closer to Jeanne who stepped back without realizing a bit closer to the door before both ceased their movements "I have my answer. I'm surprised, you my friend are scared of me; for what. Because of my past?"

"What do you expect… in the end of the day you're a man who is most likely the age of my father maybe a bit younger, one who was in war I can only imagine was one full of sin and blood shed beyond belief. We know no comes out of that still a peaceful person and-" Jeanne explained as she slowly moved her hand to the door knob of the door as the gaze from Dante narrowed a bit more like her words were hitting a sore spot

"And what Jeanne. Are you trying to say I'll try something, I'll back stab you or I'll even snap at one point?" Dante asked as his tone from his usual calm mannered one, changed to a more low and dangerous tone. Slamming his hand on the door past the right of Jeanne faces as he moved his face a bit closer to Jeanne "Go ahead Jeanne. Keep talking and maybe I'll show you what kind of man I am when irritated."

"I… I…." Jeanne tried to say, as she was very unsafe right now. The look on Dante's face was one of a man who's patients was being tested, one of a man who most likely had no qualms hurting her if she accused him anymore. So quickly doing what she could, she turned the knob and moved out of the room "We have nothing more to-"

But before she could say more, she felt a hold on her left arm. Halting her as she kept her back away from what she knew was Dante. She would have tried to pulled her arm away, but she was actually too scared to do so right now. That and she felt the hold on her arm was hard, enough that her arm could break if he moved his own arm a certain way.

"Please let go Dante." Jeanne asked, a bit of a plead before she was pulled back. Facing the man who had a hold on her arm as his glare was one that screamed 'You're very close to being dead'

"No Jeanne. What else were you going to accuse me, you who sent men to their deaths as she kept her own blade sheathed to keep the blood off her own hands. You who thinks she is an equal soldiers like I, you who was most likely a delusional little girl who wanted to special and ended up burning at the stake for her nativity." Dante stated sternly, as Jeanne felt a stab in her heart hearing her friend use information she trusted him with to insult her now. That and the inaccurate insinuations of her reasons back in her mortal life, it still hurt though to hear these things. But grabbing her face with his right hand under chin hard, while letting go of her left arm. Dante kept his glare of irritation on her the whole time as Jeanne herself was even more scared "Oh yes say what you want to about me, go on say it and see just how scary I can really be to you… little girl."

Though before Jeanne could say more, suddenly the sounds of a door opening to the their right echoed. Then a saving graced followed behind it in this sudden tension filled scene. Dante and Jeanne looking to see a few sets of eyes on them. One being Artoria, another Atalanta, the next Erza and the last Da-Vinci.

"I think you should let her go Dante." Da-Vinci stated as she and the girls hearing some semi-loud whispers from their door since the others were either in some of the other rooms to hang out or already dead asleep in these past few minutes. But now she and the others with her were glaring at Dante "Right now."

"And don't touch her like that ever again." Artoria added in, crossing her arms as Dante looked at them before he growled a little and released Jeanne who was moved to the room by Atalanta and Erza in a protective manner. All the while they still glared at Dante, who himself gave Jeanne one last glare

"Then tell her, next time she feels like accusing someone. To keep her mouth shut." Dante exclaimed, but the edge behind it caused Jeanne to flinch some more

Not in fear, but from the relationship Jeanne realized she just strained intensely. A friendship she valued deeply. Even if she was curious and had good intentions. She should have realized, that maybe at this current time after the events of today; it probably wasn't the best idea to confront her friend of his obviously sore past. Dante moments later without another word, moved back to his room as the door closed with a slight slam that only the girls could hear. Once out of sight, the girls moved back into the room with Jeanne. Artoria shutting the door, before the all looked at Jeanne.

"Jeanne. Did he hurt you?" Atalanta asked first, as she moved the saint over to the bed to sit down, the others moving around Jeanne who took a few moments herself to calm down

"Can you tell us what was that all about?" Da-Vinci asked, as Jeanne took a few more quick breathers, before she looked back up at the girls

"A misunderstanding. I… I asked him a few rather uneasy questions and he just got mad." Jeanne began to explained "It was my-"

"Stop that right now." Erza quickly rebutted, Jeanne stopping a second later at the sudden forceful order "No matter what you asked him, that doesn't give him the right to threaten you or be that aggressive with you. If he does that again tell us, we'll tell the girls and make sure he understands that. Okay Jeanne?"

"I… okay." Jeanne simply said, as she chocked up a bit before crying some as the girls just let her. Da-Vinci the only one rubbing her friends back form comfort

"Let it out Jeanne. It's fine." Da-Vinci exclaimed as she was quiet shocked herself. Dante was to everyone a good friend, but seeing how he just was actually unnerved her. Looking towards Atalanta, Artoria and Erza; she could tell they felt the same way too "Jeanne, what exactly did you ask him to get so upset?"

"Just about his past… but I may have… been a bit too brash at what I was asking him." Jeanne explained, as she sighed a bit "It was a sore subject. But I just decided to ignore that and ask him anyways. I'll be honest I was scared for once… I've never seen him so…"

"Angry?" Atalanta asked back, as Jeanne just nodded. The huntress sighed at the answer "Men can be the most dangerous kind of beast when angered. I've seen enough of it in my old life before becoming a heroic spirit. I mean I've known women who are just as dangerous when angered. But gender aside, it's scary none the less."

"Still like I said before. It doesn't give him the right to get that aggressive with you." Erza quipped in "But then again Jeanne, maybe don't try and pry into others pasts like you tried tonight. Okay?"

"Trust me, I won't. When they feel like it, I'll ask them then." Jeanne exclaimed, sighing herself as she laid back on the bed rubbing her eyes "I'll talk to him and try to-"

"No." Artoria suddenly cut in, as she Jeanne looked back at up to see Artoria was dead serious on this "Me and the girls here will talk to him tomorrow. You just give him some space for a bit okay Jeanne?"

"But I should at least-" Jeanne tried to argue, as she wanted to just get this fixed soon. She hated waiting for things to get better, if she could help it

"Jeanne." Da-Vinci this time cut in, as she patted Jeanne's shoulder "Please. I know you want to fix this, but maybe giving Dante some space will help him think of how he act towards you just now. So Jeanne for us, please give him some space after we have our own chat with him."

"I…" Jeanne began to say, only to stop when she saw the concerned looks from her friends. Realizing that they truly were trying to help, she sighed once more a bit unhappy with the choice; but knew they had a point "Fine. I'm sorry though for getting you mixed up in this girls."

"It's no problem Jeanne. Even if I'm the newest here out of us, we're friends, you me, Dante, everyone. This is what friends do, help out other friends even if it involves another friend. Make sense?" Erza kindly exclaimed, as the others nodded in agreement alongside Jeanne "Good to hear. But maybe we should all get ready to get some rest anyways. Like I said earlier, we'll need it."

"You're right, um… would be okay if I go first to the wash room. I need to be a little refreshed after the little incident minuets ago." Jeanne asked shyly, the others just smiled at the kind gesture of asking them even if they had all separately decided to suggest Jeanne go first anyways. Jeanne seeing the answer clear as day, smiled widely at their kindness "Thanks girls!"

With that Jeanne made her way to the wash room next to their room to relax. Though as she did so, she hoped Dante would forgive her soon enough; that and she was going to ask him for an apology back for his behavior. Still, she just hoped no more serious issues would arise in their family. At least for a good while…

-With Apacci and the kids-

"Tag you're it!" Nursery Rhyme said in the loudest, yet hushed tone she could muster up to not make too much noise, as she and Lily were playing tag for a bit. While the moon lite sky shinned above, Jack was somewhere and Apacci was sitting on a bench watching the three

Apacci was perfectly going to be honest with herself, she had no idea why she even suggested she'd watch the three. She wasn't one to do stuff like this ever, nope she was not one for this stuff at all. But, maybe it was because of looks of surprise when she offered. Her master being the only one to not looked shocked or wary. Maybe that was why, so she could show the others she wasn't a constant danger. Well in a way she was, but only to her enemies. Her allies, even if she wasn't too fond of them would never have to fear actual harm from her. Give her credit, she was smarter then she let on.

"UGH… stupid thoughts. Not like I should give a damn, I didn't even ask to be here." Apacci muttered to herself, but as she looked up at the night sky. She didn't take notice of the small sounds of footsteps come closer, before she felt a poke on her arm. Looking down she saw Jack, looking at her and it kind of irked her since she didn't like being stared at for long "What?"

"You looked lonely. So I thought I'd sit with you." Jack stated, calmly as she began to kick her legs a bit since she was still a bit too small to fully sit on the bench. But it was silent once more between the two, as Jack looked at her feet kicking back and forth "Why are you so mean to mommy?"

"Huh?" Apacci asked, as she hadn't expected Jack to ask her such a question

"Why are you mean to mommy?" Jack repeated, a little more stern as she pouted a bit too looking back at Apacci face to face "Mommy's being nice and you've been mean. Why?"

"Why do you care kid, I thought you didn't like me?" Apacci quipped as it wasn't that she was mean to Ruby…anymore, it was just kind of her personality. That and she didn't like the fact she along with the others of her small clan were tethered to a teen girl they knew a bit better now; but not enough to fully trust yet

"Because… because I love my mommy. But…" Jack stated as she truly did love her mother's so much, they both had qualities that she loved about them; faults too but barely any and one's that didn't really cause any harm. Expect for one, that belonged to her mommy Ruby; one that she even knew could be self-harming as much as it could be a strength "Mommy is… a little too nice at times and forgiving too. Like when you threatened her. She forgave you…even if you were being a meanie. So that's why, I want to make sure my mommy is safe from bullies and meanies."

"…" Apacci didn't say, as she was incline to agree with Jack. Sure most of her new 'comrades' outside her usual had many faults that would get them killed back in her homeland of Hueco Mundo. But Ruby was the prime example of weakness in her eyes. Even though, as much as she had a hard to admitting to herself. Even for just a week so far, she had grown a bit of a fondness for them all; more of the women since. The men were okay too, even if she still wasn't fully comfortable around them. Sighing a bit, she decided to at least try to explain to the child "Look. Jack, I don't mean to be. It's just how I am honest. Though I'll admit I agree with you on your… mommy. She is a bit too softhearted, she'd never had made it back in my homeland that's for sure."

"Is that why you're a meanie, because of your home?" Jack asked with sudden childlike curiosity "Can you tell me about it, please!"

"Well…" Apacci tried to say, going to tell Jack a definite no on it. But for some reason she couldn't help but stop herself. She felt an odd want to do so, to just talk with the little one. Not knowing why, but deciding why not. She cleared her throat "Fine. Anyways, my home… my home. It wasn't a nice place. Not a pretty one too, not like here. It was all just white bone sand, dead trees and a dark sky above us. Bland, yeah. Bland would be the word."

"Sounds kind of sad if you ask me." Jack said, as she could already picture a good idea on how bland Apacci's home looked

"That ain't the worst of it. Trust me, you see like in most other places there were males and females. In most places they get along well. But in my home, or Hueco Mundo if you want to get technical about the name. The males ran amok, killing everything and each other for food along with the power needed to evolve into a stronger version of themselves or something along those lines. I don't know, ask the others on that." Apacci quipped, before continuing "But anyways, females were the best prey for the males, mainly because us females were much weaker than the males as much as I hate to admit it. Even when me and the others formed our group we still had issues with fighting the attacking males. Not as much, but enough trouble. Basically what I'm trying to say, is that my home land was a rough one. A real rough and dangerous one, the fact I'm even here today is a miracle if any. So yeah, if I'm a bit of a bi… meanie. That's why."

"Oh…" Jack muttered as she looked a little guilty now as she teared up a bit, much to Apacci's sudden and surprising discomfort seeing the little girl do so "I-I'm sorry for being s-so mean to you then…"

"Hey kid…Jack ah…" Apacci started to say, as she had no idea why seeing Jack look so sad and guilty made her feel well bad. Apacci quickly patting the top of Jack's head for at least something to help "It's fine really. Honest."

"R-Really A-Apacci?" Jack asked through her sniffles, as she wiped her eyes

"Yeah and I guess, well I guess I could try and be a BIT more nicer to your mommy. But don't exp-"Apacci began to say, crossing her arms only to feel suddenly a small pair of arms wrap around her waist. Looking down she saw Jack was giving her a hug, then looked up smiling at her

"Thank you, thank you. Mommy like it's when we're all friends. So thank you, yay!" Jack cheered as Apacci was a bit shocked this was the same girl that earlier on this week hated her and had bitten her upon meeting

"Um… you're… welcome." Apacci replied back, still a bit shocked from the sudden very foreign contact Jack gave her; oddly she kind of liked it

Slowly if not in a janky manner, Apacci moved her own arms around Jack to mimic the same motion as it was bringing up a rare odd feeling of peace in her. Then smiled when she felt Jack nuzzle against her bit. So she and Jack kept hugging a bit more, while Lily and Nursery Rhyme played under the moonlight. Having a moment of peace, even if only for a while longer.

-Auditore Plaza: Early morning-

It was a nice morning, Ruby slumbered next to her love Weiss as their arms were placed over their daughter Jack who slumbered in between them. All in their comfy warm night dresses, while the sunlight shinnied a bit from the small window above their bed. All in all it was nice and peaceful. Well… mostly.

As before the girls even knew it, Guin came in being pushed into the room by of all people Berserker. Who was over on him as the two were hashing it out, well mainly Berserker who was trying to punch Guin's face in as Guin was blocking most of the hits; while throwing a few of his own to get the mad servant off him. Though as Ruby, Weiss and Jack all awake now; wide eyed in silent shock at the sight watched. Three people came in.

One was Artoria who was already pulling off Berserker from Guin, the second Mordred helping her mother out. Then the last was a man they'd never seen wearing a blue tunic, a black vest, black cotton pants and black boots. That and he had a back hood over his face with only a bit of his sickly pale jaw showing. Though the girls did notice on the top of his right hand the same red symbols that Blake and Yang had told them; that the other servants like Artoria's masters had. Which meant this man, must have been the master of the raving mad man Berserker.

BUT, that did not explain one bit how in the world this was happening right now. Had they been invaded, or what; just what was going on. That and the matter of fact despite the fight going on between Guin and Berserker, everyone seemed calm. Even the unknown man helping Artoria and Mordred get Berserker off Guin. Though Weiss and Ruby remembering what little was explained about the red symbols or command seals by Blake and Yang, along with the other servants- servants in the current Holy Grail War. The two wondered why the unknown man wasn't using them to simply order Berserker to stop. Then again, seeing how the raving mad man was so far, that and the past one side battle in his favor against them along with the others. Maybe the command seals at this time, wouldn't work; at least well enough to make Berserker stop completely.

"Enough you two!" Artoria yelled as she, Mordred and the unknown man were able to pry the mad man off of Guin moments later if just by sheer luck of chance

"Holy crap… didn't know you had this much anger in ya Lancy." Mordred quipped as she had almost fallen on her backside. Only for the unknown man to catch her before that could happen, while also using the teasing nickname she'd made for dear old and now madness induced Lancelot

"Grrrr." Berserker or Lancelot growled in annoyance from the irritating and still childish attitude Mordred always had

"Enough Berserker. We're not here to fight, at least currently." The unknown man sternly ordered, as at this point he was glad Berserker's constant rage had been quell just enough that he seemed more reasonable. Even by just a bit, but considering how he usually was before that was a big win. Though he still didn't like being sent here by the others to make sure Berserker was keeping calm enough. Which he was and it didn't help they told him to just stay there for now, these clothes were not doing it for him

"Yeah listen to your Master Lancy, like the good doggy you always were." Mordred mocked a bit, standing back up as Berserker growled some more

"Mordred." Artoria simply scolded, in a clam if not loud and stern tone making Mordred flinch a bit

"Oh ah… sorry mom." Mordred replied, sheepishly smiling as Artoria sighed at her daughters behavior at times. Though Mordred and Artoria were glad that Lancelot even in his mad state of mind seemed more reasonable currently. Why neither knew and probably would never know; but then again their only guess was another oddity of the journey itself

"Anyways, Guin are you okay?" Artoria asked, lending a hand to Guin who took it seconds later. Being pulled up before he was able to stand back on his own, cracking his neck for a moment

"I am, better now with this mad man off me." Guin stated slightly irritated still as Berserker growled back. Then looking back he saw Ruby, Weiss and Jack now fully awake. Still in their night dresses and confused as heck "Oh. Girls ah…."

"S-Sorry didn't know you three were in here." The unknown man stated, covering his view of them. Even if they were fully covered thanks to the thick night dresses; still didn't make him feel comfortable looking at two teens and one child in that matter "I'll wait downstairs. Again sorry."

With that the unknown man made his way back downstairs, everyone silent for a moment. From that and just the suddenness of the incident itself. Before Ruby decided enough was enough of this sudden madness.

"Okay….what is going on?!" Ruby asked, as she finally found her voice to start questioning her three allies while avoiding possibly angering the mad man who also killed her, the girls and everyone else when they first encountered him

"Yes and why is that… that mad man here?" Weiss asked next, as she quickly pulled Jack closer to her to keep her baby girl safe and away from Berserker. Who she still was a bit scared off justifiably considering the near death experience involving him. It helped that Jack already seemed uneasy around the mad man a bit too, as she nuzzled closely against Weiss side for some form of extra safety then she already had

"Okay Weiss, Ruby, Jack there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for this… which Guin will tell you!" Mordred answered as Guin went wide eyed seconds later at what she just said

"Wait what?" Guin yelled, as he was not good at explanations like this. That and he was still pretty confused too on well what in the world was going on so far since it had been all so sudden

"Be down stairs!" Mordred quickly answered, running out of the room as Guin alongside Artoria and Weiss being her master sighed at the rather not surprisingly stunt Mordred just pulled

"I apologize for my daughter Guin. She definitely didn't get that from me." Artoria apologized, as she knew for a fact Mordred got that from her mother Morgan in every way

"It's fine… just, not really sure how to explain this." Guin responded as suddenly Berserker stood back up, look at him then the girls who flinched a bit from the red visor gaze

"DoWN… s-STaiRS… an-n-nswRAHH!" Berserker tried to say as best he could, the madness making it even now in his more calmer state of mind near impossible if he didn't force himself to do so. But before the girls could even say anything he just made his way off. Giving one last look towards Artoria who looked back at him, before he was out through the bedroom door

"I still find it hard to believe he was once you're most loyal knight Artoria." Ruby stated suddenly, as she and the girls remember well enough the names of Artoria's knights when she'd explained her backstory weeks ago

"Yeah…was." Artoria muttered, a little bitterly towards the very fact the mad man Berserker was her most loyal knight Lancelot. The one who she could say was the only one, who truly knew about her as a person then just the King Of Knights, her best friend. Now a raving mad beast… then again he had been one of if not the main reason their Kingdom fell or at least the start of it. So maybe his current class wasn't all too surprising. Still it hurt her deeply at how one of her beloved knights had turned into such a monster. But taking her mind off it, she looked back at Ruby, Weiss and Jack smiling a little "Anyways, I think the answers you'll want would best be explained once you're ready for the day. Head downstairs and we'll try to explain; just don't take too long. We…well, like I said come down after you're ready for the day and you'll get your answers girls."

"Um sure." Ruby and Weiss simply stated, as Jack nodded. Artoria and Guin making their way out of the room, once out the two teens sighed at the sudden awakening of what was already going to be a confusion morning

"Mom, Mommy?" Jack said, as Weiss and Ruby looked down at the also confused Jack who was pouting some as she crossed her arms now "Hmf, that mean old Berserker ruin our morning. Meanie, mean, meaner…man!"

It was silent for a moment or so, before Ruby and Weiss laughed suddenly finding Jack's reaction to all this so very cute. That and they just adored everything their child did. Getting themselves up and dressed, while letting Jack relax on the bed some more. Once dressed, they got Jack back up as they helped dress her back in her usual attire in this world. It helped the attire for most of them, Yang, Blake and their servants were the same in style if not with some differences. But after that was done, Jack in Weiss arms while Ruby was to the right of her, all made their down stairs. To see a rather surprising sight at the ground level.

The three saw Blake, Yang, Dante, Guin, Ikail, Donald and Goofy down there. Alongside the servants and their summons. All of them standing to the right of the room, while now the unknown man, Berserker and Ilia in the same attire she had when they'd first fought were standing the opposite of the others. Mario and Ezio in the center seeming to act like mediators between the two sides. Why well…

"Say that again!" Yang yelled as she stood in front of Blake and Nursery Rhyme who Blake was holding in her arms

"I'm just saying. She'd be better off with someone of her own kind like me." Ilia bluntly stated with a shrug, but smirking a bit as she seemed to be enjoying taunting Yang

"Ilia…" The unknown man tried to say, but sighed at his allies behavior while Berserker was just silent like the others. Watching to make sure it didn't get any more heated then it already was between Yang and Ilia

"Just saying Kariya. I've known Blake longer and know the plights of being a Faunus. Miss Blondie here is just another human who could never appreciate truly what she has." Ilia exclaimed, bluntly still as Yang looked like she was doing her best to not just snap and lunge at Ilia to hurt her badly

"Mom, I kind of hope Ma punches her. I don't like her." Nursery Rhyme whispered to Blake, who sighed that her daughter was thinking the same as her girlfriend

"I… Nursery Rhyme don't say things like that again understood." Blake whispered back in a caring, yet stern tone as Nursery Rhyme seemed to shy a bit before nuzzling her face against Blake's collar bone

"Yes mom. Sorry mom." Nursery Rhyme replied back simply, as Blake smiled and gave her child a quick kiss on the forehead before looking back ahead. To see Ilia and Yang still glaring at one another. Seeing as no one was doing much if only to not cause an issue, Blake decided to cut in

"Ilia enough." Blake stated sternly as Ilia flinched at the tone of her voice "You have to just come to terms Yang and I are in love. That and that we have a child now. Got it?"

"Oh Blake. Blake…Blake. How much have they corrupted your mind. Don't worry once this is all over, I'll fix you. Then we can be together finally." Ilia happily stated, rather in a disturbing manner as Sakura, Saki, Ikail, Fran and even Sung-Sun moved Blake behind them. Nursery Rhyme even in her mom's arms was giving Ilia a slight glare

"Girl you're insane." Sakura stated, as she wasn't one for violence; but would gladly break in Ilia's face if need be

"Seriously stay away from Blake psycho!" Saki added in sternly herself

"Hmf!" Ilia pouted, irked as she knew enough of when to back down. Didn't mean she wasn't going to give these people; especially Yang subtle glares

Though by this point, Ruby, Weiss and Jack were more than rightfully past being simply confused on what in the world was going on here. As they had some many more questions now. Like how, JUST HOW did this occur, when and…. so MANY QUESTIONS. Ruby deciding she might as well get some answer for her, her snowflake and baby girl.

"HEY!" Ruby screamed, as everyone snapped looking at Ruby, Weiss and Jack ready for the day; along with looking so very… very… CONFUSED "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!"

"Oh Ruby, Weiss, Jack you're all awake good. You can help us throw this annoying little brat out of here!" Yang stated kindly to her sister, future sister in law and niece; before glaring back at Ilia for a moment. Then looking to Kariya "You're okay though. You seem nice enough, even if you're the master of the… beast next to you."

"Um… thanks." Kariya replied, not knowing either to feel like that was a compliment fully, an insult to his own danger level to this group or a mix of both. It sounded nice enough at least, though he could tell Berserker was holding back just attacking; then again his reaming threat of command seals maybe part of the reason why he's so… restraint currently

"Yang no. Okay?" Blake stated calmly, if not a bit sternly as Yang wanted to argue but sighed as she knew she wouldn't win this argument

"Yes dear." Yang quipped, sighing a bit as Blake chuckled kissing her on the cheek that got a small smile from Yang while Ilia silently fumed a bit

"Well at least we know who wear's the pants between those two." Scathach muttered to Atalanta and Yugiri, both stifling a small chuckle as they found the couple cute

"Can someone tell us please. Mommy looks really confused I don't want her to break." Jack asked, a bit worried as Weiss chuckled a bit at her daughters terminology as Ruby really did look like she was about to break from all this suddenness

"I can answer that." Mario suddenly stated, coming in from where his office was, with two others behind him that were new

Both a brother and sister, with tanned skin, black hair and blue eyes. They wore leather armor with swords tied to their belts, a quiver of arrows and slung on bows. All in all this duo aside from gender were in everyway the same. Both smiling as they waved at the larger group before them. The others just either staring or giving a small wave back.

"Uncle, who are these two?" Ezio asked, as he'd never seen these two until just now

"Two of my most resourceful scouts. They came in about a year ago, but they were on a long personal mission they had before joining up with me. So they just came back, with news as well as answers." Mario exclaimed as he looked at the Twins "Introduce yourselves please."

"Ah yes you're right how rude of us haha!" The brother started laughing sheepishly as he rubbed the side of his head "Anyways my name is Hearo, the older brother."

"If only by a mere ten seconds is all!" The sister chaises amusingly, elbowing her Hearo's side as he chuckled "Jokes aside, I'm Kane the younger sister even if only by ten seconds. If you haven't noticed. Me and him are twins!"

"That's was pretty easy to tell for us, no offense." Blake replied back, as the twins shrugged like it was no big dead

"Ahem." Mario said, coughing in his hand to get the twins attention again "The news?"

"Oh right. Apologies Mario, my sister and I can get distracted at times." Hearo exclaimed, chuckling some more before looking back at the others looking more serious "Now then. About two hours ago, my sister and I were scouting the city of San Gimignano. I'm sure you're all fairly familiar with the place since that's where you last night."

"Huh so that's what the place was called." Saki muttered herself, as some of the others just nodded back in agreement with the statement

"Well then, you'd all be surprised that the place is now… different. A Dark City, you could say." Kane exclaimed, as the others were fairly confused on that "No worries, you have to see it to understand. But anyways, when there we found these three outside the border of the town. Fighting off little dark creatures."

"Heartless." Team RWBY, the servants and summons who knew enough about them thanks to the girls all stated suddenly, looks of displeasure most of them were sporting

"Right Heartless. Anyways, we helped these three strangers out. Turns out they were investigating too." Kane finished explaining, as the others looked at three new wary guests

"Really?" Weiss asked this time, a bit skeptical on that since these three or at least Ilia and Berserker had already tried killing them; Berserker twice so far

"Yes we were." Kariya quickly answered, just so Ilia wouldn't say something that could make things even more tense between them and these folks "Our… employer sent us down here to inspect a disturbance other allies of ours detected. Since this is one of their own's territory. What we found… well it's worse then any of them believed. So yeah, we're here now asking for your help and I know that's a lot to ask."

"Gosh wiliker's mister WHAT every gave you that idea, hm?" Mordred mockingly asked, with an ever so sweet tone as she even add in a cute mocking girly giggle. Oddly she had no idea the word's she said, but it wa good for playing the role of ditzy princess if ever needed… if only for her to get a sneak attack after that

"Mordred, behaved please." Artoria quickly scolded, as Mordred sighed and just silently agreed

"Hehe." Berserker for once chuckled, still sounding a bit beastly but human too as everyone even Kariya were a bit surprised as that; but let it be

"Yes well… look, we don't what caused what the twins called the Dark City look. But us three fear it will spread and again just we need your help. Three of us could probably do some damage, but we need more people. Which is why were here for you." Kariya stated, before bowing "So please, we… I beg of you. Help us fix this, a temporary truce is all we need. We will not back stab you, you have my word on it."

Silence followed a few moments after that, the group of natives and non-natives staring at the three newly welcomed arrivals. Kariya still bowing as Ilia was silent and Berserker was ready to attack if called for. The mad man was liking this somewhat more sensible mindset lately to be honest even if he'd kill them all in blood rage just because. But as the silence went on, finally someone broke it.

"Okay." Ruby simply said, kindly smiling as Kariya stood back up a bit surprised at the acceptance. Ilia was too, Berserker just stayed silent while Ruby looked back at the others "What about you all. You okay with helping out?"

"You know me, Blake and your girl are baby sis." Yang happily said as Blake nodded in agreement happily and Weiss gave Ruby a lip kiss as her answer. Yang just gave Ruby a thumbs up "Big sister got you back always!"

"Same with us auntie Ruby!" Nursery Rhyme happily cheered as Blake still held her in her arms, smiling widely. The other servants all silent, agreed too with one of the two youngest of their group

"Yeah. I always have Mommy's back too!" Jack sweetly added in with a big smile as Ruby felt her heart almost melt from how adorable her daughter was…so…so ADORABLE

"Same with us Ruby, me and the girls got your back!" Saki quipped, as the rest of her undead seven all nodded in agreement… well Tae gnawed on her hair again but by this point that was basically a yes

"As am I Ruby." Clank added in next, with an affirmative nod

"Same here. Besides I've come to like you quiet well and we're friends. So friends help out friends." Erza quipped proudly herself

"Good to hear!" Ruby happily responded back, before looking at her summons now "Ladies, will you help… please."

"…." Tier didn't say at first, thinking it over until she sighed "Yes, we shall help too. I and my girls."

"If our lady says so." Sung-Sun and Mila Rose agreed, while Apacci just shrugged and just would go with it; heck she might get a few kills on finally with these so called Heartless

"And don't forget us either." Ikail remarked smirking as Dante and Guin nodded in agreement as well. While Donald just made a quack and Goofy barked with his tail wagging

"Thanks everyone. For real thanks!" Ruby gleefully stated, as she was happy to have so many supportive friends here; especially her lovely snowflake and baby girl

"And you already know I, my nephew and scouts will join you." Mario exclaimed while Ezio and the twins nod in agreement too

"Then it settled." Ruby stated, moving to the door, before looking back at everyone else with a big smile and a aura of a leader "Operation: Dark City is a go!"

With that, Ruby declaration for the day had come to fruition. The only thing now was… what the heck was this so called Dark City like anyways?

-1 hour later, San Gimignano-

As the group of non-natives, natives, new native allies and now a few enemies turned temporary allies galloped to very walled city they had only left a day ago. They could already see what Mario's two new scouts meant by 'A Dark City' As the whole town and the land around it was shrouded by dark grey grass, lifeless tress, a pure light purple sky and the city itself. Still similar in style. Was all pure black, with some grey stone roads and yellow windows seen from a afar. All in all, the sight was unnerving. The horses halting as they seemed to know not to even go near the place. All of the group either mounting off their horses, along with being placed down by either Mila Rose, Apacci and now Berserker as they stared at the sight before them.

"Wow." Ai simply stated, wide eyed as this was… something, something very shocking

"Yeah, I think Ai just summed it up for us all. Like just…" Mordred began to say, as she blinked a few times at the sight of the area before them

"Grahhh!" Fran screamed, as she also realized at least that no one who'd been outside the walls walking down the various roads was there anymore. In fact they were all gone "Umff, Grah, rah!"

"Fran's right. I can't see anyone here. I fear that the heartless must have taken them already…maybe. Honestly I can't say." Sung-Sun exclaimed as she was a bit shocked herself at the sight before them all

"Not just that. Look." Ezio exclaimed, pointing as he and the others saw birds still up in the sky. But oddly they were frozen in place, perfectly still like time itself had stopped

"That's… unnerving." Weiss quipped as she looked back down ahead, wide eyed some more at something else she noticed "Everyone look!"

As they did, the new large group could see ahead Shades and a few fire Wizard's patrolling the area near them, a few Shade Guards too in the form of the City Guards of this world with them as well. Which added some worry to the girls at least. Having a good idea that more Heartless were corrupting the area.

"Oh great. I was hoping we wouldn't having to be dealing with anymore heartless!" Yang shouted irritably "GAH… sheesh why us?"

"Density Yang. Destiny." Scathach quipped as she calmly patted Yang on the back, before looking to Ruby since out of the all she was the leader for them "So, Ruby what's the plan?"

"Plan.." Ruby muttered as she sighed a bit, feeling some pressure on her but already was thinking of a few plans. Taking a few more moments, she decided on a quick plan of attack "Alright, this is how we're going to do this. Me and the girls will head to the city. My guess whatever is doing this is probably there. We'll take three more with us while the rest of you go out, try and find any survivors if you can. If not, then just keep the heartless in the area's around busy for the time being. Sound good?"

"Considering our situation. I'd say so." Artoria offered up first, as to be honest this wasn't the best plan she'd heard; but it was better than nothing and was solid enough to work "What of the rest of us?"

"I'm in!" Da-Vinci cheered happily as she cracked her knuckles with a prideful smirk

"Us three as well, even if this is temporary of course." Kariya kindly stated, as Berserker stayed quiet and Ilia just shrugged even if she wasn't for it much herself

"As am I and the rest of the servants." Jeanne added in, as the other servants from the youngest to oldest all nodded in silent agreement with the team mother

"As am I girls." Ezio kindly added in with a smirk and nod

"Me and my brother too!" Kane quipped in her usual chipper tone, as he brother Hearo nodded in agreement

"Us too!" Saki, Clank, Erza and Tier even stated with reassuring tones; those in their groups of summons all in agreement since by this point they were in this till the end

"Same here girls." Ikail happily quipped, as Dante, Guin, Donald and Goofy nodded/ quacked/ barked in agreement "The boys are too. Like we have been from the start, we're with you."

"Thanks buddies!" Ruby happily cheered in glee, Weiss, Blake and Yang happy too that they've gained so many good friends throughout all of this. Before she noticed Mario looking at her "Mario, you okay?"

"I am Lady Rose. I apologize for this, but seeing the state of this city. If things don't end well, which I hope do. But if they don't, I need to make sure my town is safe and-" Mario began to explain, only to be cut off moments later

"Mario it's fine. We all understand. Honest." Atalanta said, with an understanding smile while the others nodded in agreement

"If that's the case. I'll accompany my uncle, make sure he's safe." Ezio exclaimed calmly, as he got back on the horse he used alongside his uncle

"Then we shall also." Hearo stated, getting on his horse as his younger sister got on hers

"It was an honor to meet you all." Kane said with a quick nod and smirk "And heck, after this we should all spend some time together. That would be fun!"

"Fun indeed." Mario mused at the younger of his best two scouts words, as he got on his horse now. Looking at the girls and the others "Whatever happens. If you succeeded or…not. It's been an honor to get to know you all."

"Same here. I and my sister are happy to know you all too, even for a short time." Hearo quipped kindly as Kane nodded in joyful agreement before they went off, leaving Ezio alone as he looked ahead; then back at the group

"I just want to say, thank you all for everything. I'll see you around." Ezio kindly said, with a small smile and nod before making his way off too as the group looked back at the battlefield before them

"Well guess we should get started. Question now, who's-" Blake began to ask, only for her and the others to see suddenly a portal open in front of them of white angelic light "Um… I'm not the only one seeing this… right?"

"No… No we all see it too…" Weiss answered, rubbing her eyes while the others nodded in agreement

But before anyone else could even answer, the group of non-natives saw two figures come out of the portal. One a coated man with a few weapons sheathed and the most oddest thing of him, the mechanical skull mask he wore. Next to him was an equally wary filled being as this one was as tall as Guin. With its odd dark purple skin, horns, bat like wings around it like a cap and other oddities. Only four in the group knew what the in the world the more beastly of the two was. But kept their silence. As the two walked up to them, before stopping staring at the group. Ruby deciding to be the one to start up some form of communication.

"Ah, hi. I'm Ruby Rose. Nice to meet you." Ruby stated, sheepishly smiling as she waved at the two for a moment who just stared at her before each other, nodding as they turned their gazed on her once again "Um…"

"You're one of them." The beastly creature exclaimed, Ruby flinching a bit from the much more deeper and somewhat scary tone the beast had; before he looked at the others. Mainly Weiss, Blake and Yang; before back at the other unknown "That's them."

"Indeed." The masked man quipped, looking at the girls and the others with them. Some wary, others confused which to the masked man was understandable "Do not worry. We're here to help you. Our… employer sent us to help you with this issue. Turns out it involves a woman who shares a similar allegiance to what another had. You four girls know what I'm speaking of."

"Wait you don't mean…" Ruby began to ask, but stopped as she and the girls realized quickly on who these two new comers were referring too. A subject that even now, they told barely anyone else because of all the nightmares the she and the girls still had because of… that crazed monster

"Oh no. No. NO!" Yang yelled, as she already had enough with that Lord Grand guy when he almost killed her and the girls back in Jak and Daxter's world

"Gao?" Tae asked or well growled, confused either from the girls sudden reactions or well just confused in general. To be perfectly honest it was still a half-half slop when it came to Tae

"Yeah for real, what are going about?" Mila Rose asked, a bit irked since she was confused and she hated feeling confused. The girls looking at one another, a bit uneasy by this point as they knew they'd have to talk about this… even if they really didn't want too

"Girls?" Atalanta stated, as she was kind of worried now seeing the looks on their faces. Sighing she knew she had to do something to help soothe the four's sudden uneasiness "Girls. Look, you should trust us enough to at least know you can talk with us. All of us. We promise."

"Well maybe not all of-" Ilia began to say, only for Kariya to elbow her to shut up as now was not the time to get petty. Ilia just pouted and crossed her arms as her fun was ruined for the time

"Yes. Well anyways, Lady Atalanta is correct. Comrades.. even temporary ones will listen even if it's unsettling news. We can all agree on that can we not?" Yugiri as the groups one of few big sisters interjected, with a reassuring smile while the others all nodded in quick agreement "See. Now come, tell us and we'll listen."

"Well. I guess…" Weiss replied this time for the girls, sighing as she cleared her throat to explain as quickly as she could "Alright so basically in one of the earlier worlds we went too. We like meet two allies who lead us on a few crazy-"

"Life threatening." Blake quickly chimed in

"Insane."' Yang chimed in next, shuttering a bit herself

"Stress inducing missions!" Ruby yelled from sudden small hints of PTSD from the few good near deaths she herself had in one of their earliest friends worlds

"Yes those. Anyways, like I was saying these missions were all in the name of a rebellion against a mad tyrant that rule the government of this world with an iron fist. Eventually we took on a mission, just me and the girls to go down in the city's sewer to take down some defenses that was making it hard for the rebels to navigate through easily. Anyways, us and one of Blakes earliest summons went through the area. Doing the mission quick and easily. Thanks to Blake's summon of course. But aside from that, once the mission was done, we suddenly hear some voices. Following them we ended up in some messed up underground ritual site where we meet… that thing that I refuse still to call a human…ish man." Weiss explained as she really did not have great memories of that time, then again near death and then having to almost watch Ruby be killed first didn't help either

"So….?" Mordred asked, as she still wasn't getting the idea of what Weiss was trying to explain

"SO, the man who attacked us was part of a group of sick minded people who seemed to worship the Heartless." Weiss finished as she shuttered from the mere thought of Lord Grand

"The Black Heart Cult." The Beastly man stated calmly, but loud too as the girls flinched even more from the mere mention of such a shadowy organization

"Yeah." Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang answered rubbing their arms a bit as they really. Like REALLY, didn't want to deal with those people again; even if they would get Griffa coins from it. At least that's what they remember when Griffa first met them in their shared vision

"I can't imagine someone worshipping those things." Jeanne stated, feeling a slight pit of disgust at the fact it seemed the heartless were even worshiped like in the way God was "Evil. Evil I say…"

"I even have to agree." Ilia muttered as she was not aa fan of the heartless, even if they were technically on her side. Though the others gave her primarily a look, as Kariya and Berserker just stayed out of it. Though Ilia took notice of the sudden stares "What?"

"Y-You aren't in league with these cult people?" Junko asked quietly, but loudly enough as she was scared even thinking of what kind of people these cult members were

"What no, I've never heard about these freaks until just now!" Ilia argued, before looking at her only to allies in this who mess "Kariya, you?"

"Not me either and Berserker…" Kariya explained, before motioned to Berserker who had his own arms crossed seeming anxious to just get to fighting

"Grrr…" Berserker simply growled as his own sort of answer

"Well you can see that he doesn't either." Kariya exclaimed, before looking to seeing something a little odd about these heartless "Also look, on their chests. Can you see it."

"Huh?" Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang muttered. Before looking at the heartless, the Shades to be exactly as the others did the same moments later

It took a good moment or two, but eventually the girls at first saw what Kariya was seeing. On the chest of the Shade's was a yellow mark. That looked like a heart within a circle, with a thin cross in the center of it. The others noticing too themselves at the oddity on the Shades, though the other Heartless types. Even the Shade Guards also had the odd symbol on the chest area.

"Oh yeah, mister creepy skin is right!" Lily joyfully said in her child like bluntness as Kariya felt a bit more of his pride being hurt from such a small kind child already

"A-Am I really that creepy?" Kariya muttered, as Ilia could only pity the man a bit as she swore she'd saw a bit of his soul leave his body from the unintentional insult

"Lily!?" Sakura like usual yelled when Lily did one of her blunt statements

"Sorry." Lily quickly replied back, sheepishly smiling at Kariya who still looked like his soul was slightly crushed from her statements

"Banter aside." Scathach quickly cut in, though felt pity for the man's pride "Before we decided to do anymore. Who are you two?"

"Still suspicious?" The masked man remarked, but oddly sounded amused by that assumption which for some reason for a few of the group; unnerved them

"Can you blame us. You two come out of a stranger portal and sure you're friendly enough. But it could just be front." Ikail answered bluntly for once "Just saying is all."

"Smart. Can't blame you on that and it's fair enough." The masked man answered as his partner just nodded for a moment "Anyways, I'm Corvo's."

"And you may all refer to me as Goliath." Goliath quipped, with a quick nod to the group who all either slowly nodded back or just smiled a bit. Moments later Goliath looked back to the sun smirking "Our boss was good on their promise."

"Promise?" Jack asked all of sudden, Goliath looking back at the small child standing in between the girls with red hair and white hair. Thankfully someone was able to explain so Goliath wouldn't have to go into it more, since the Queen wanted to keep her identity. Title and gender even a secret from this group until she was ready herself to say hello

"He mean's because he's a Gargoyle." Dante explained, giving Goliath a quick smirk "In Christian lore. Our churches have statues of these on them to ward off evil spirits despite their more than their own bestial appearance. A few friends back then even heard that they were beasts that at night fly in the skies, but by day would return to their home. Turning into stone as watchful Guardians for the day, until night came around once more. Personally I thought that last part was just made up. But it seems I was wrong considering Goliaths words just now."

"Oh, cool. Thank you for explaining Dante!" Jack happily stated, as Dante smiled back that he could help Jack and the others in general since they were listening; to understand more on Goliath himself. Only Jeanne, Artoria and Mordred knew enough about Gargoyles already

"Indeed, thank you Dante." Jeanne replied back kindly, while Dante gave her a small smile back. Jeanne was still glad the girls had talked to Dante before all this occurred. Since it was still a bit awkward between them currently, but not enough they could still be friendly with each other until the still fresh wounds healed fully between them. Artoria, Dan Vinci, Erza and Atalanta seeing this all smiled a bit to that it seem things would get better again. Still Jeanne turned her attention back to Goliath "It was a reason I knew you two were on our side too. That and your manners."

"Heh, we aim to please." Corvo's stated amused a bit, before deciding to bring the more dire situation back to thought "Pleasantries aside. We should hurry, whoever this woman is. She needs to be stopped soon or this darkness we see now will spread out."

"Then let's get to it!" Ruby cheered, determined to save the day like she usual was at times such as these. Looking back at the others, she already decided on the final renditions of her quick plan of attack "So here is how this is going to go Ikail. You, Erza, Mordred, Apacci, Mila Rose, Saki, Guin, Goofy and Tae. You all will be team one and will be Strawberry Pups. Alright?"

"I think that's acceptable." Guin simply stated, as the one's in the 'Strawberry Pups' team looked at one another. One or two a bit iffy on the choices, but for the most part the first team seemed find with one another

"Yeah. It will work." Mila Rose stated, being the iffy one's of the group of nine, but went with it for the time being. The others all nodded and muttered in agreement too, as it seemed to be the best choices

"Good. Now team two will be team Snow Bird. In this team will be Da-Vinci, Tier, Scathach, Jeanne, Dante, Yugiri, Fran, Artoria and Ai. Like the team one. You'll be the attacking team on the left side." Ruby exclaimed for the second team formation "Is that good with you all too?"

"Well?" Da-Vinci answered, looking back at the others who nodded in silent agreement with their team. Looking back at Ruby, Da-Vinci was happy with answer "You bet ya Ruby. Good job girl!"

"Thank you." Ruby proudly quipped, as she was happy everyone was okay so far with the teams. But she had one more to go as she cleared her throat "Now for our final team. They will Echo team. Who will be in the back taking down any Heartless left behind from the initial counter attack. The one's in this team will be Atalanta, Sakura, Junko, Donald, Sung-Sun, Clank, Lily, my adorable niece Nursery Rhyme and my baby girl Jack. Oh also Berserker you'll be with them too, which means Kariya you too since you're his master. Alongside Ilia. That work for all of you, well aside from the last three, since you're like still our enemies at the end of this all. No offense."

"None taken, makes sense I guess." Kariya simply replied, while Ilia who wasn't so fond of taking orders from a human. Bite her tongue since this so called Black Heart Cult seemed was not at all an ally to her group. 'The Enemy of my Enemy' as the old saying goes, meanwhile Berserker was just being himself and didn't care either way by this point

"Anyways. Finally me and the girls will take care of this Black Heart Cult member whoever she is. My guess she's held up in the town, using it as her own little kingdom." Ruby exclaimed, looking back at Corvo's and Goliath "And you two will be with us too. If you're our allies. You won't mind, will ya?"

"None at all. That's why we we're sent here in the first place." Goliath replied back, as he had to admit he found Ruby quiet the leader already

"That is the truth. We'll follow your lead ladies." Corvo's stated as he wasn't one to do this sort of team stuff usually, but since he was part of the Queen's small band of Light Guards. He decided he might as well get use to this, at least there weren't rats for the time being; that was a plus in his book

"Right. Well then…." Ruby stated as she smirked passing by Goliath and Corvo's. Staring at the area ahead. Everyone else getting ready as they moved to their teammates for the mission, Ruby taking in a one more deep breath to calm her nerves "Let's get to it!"

Without even having to respond the others all passed by team RWBY and their two teammates to their respective destinations for the battle. Team RWBY, Goliath and Corvo making their way straight ahead ready for the battle ahead.

It didn't take too long for the girls to see a five Soldiers, ten Shade and three Shade Guards spot them. Already moving in for a counter attack on the group of six.

Blake was the first to cut off and move a bit to left, seeing a stack of crates lead to the top of one of the home next to the group of heartless. She climbed up them in a four step succession, before leaping off the home's roof as she landed on one of the Soldiers. Impaling it's back with her hidden blade. A Shade about to attack her, only for a blink of light to occur; before seconds later Corvo's blocked the attack with a sword he pulled from his jacket. Killing it with a slash across the next. Before pulling out a crossbow and shooting another Shade right through the head killing it too as it burst to dark smoke.

That's when the others were close enough to provide back up. Weiss dodging two swipes from one of the Shade Guards. Tripping the Shade Guard seconds later with leg sweep as it feel over its back. Weiss following up with a stab in the Shade Guards face as it burst to dark smoke itself. Weiss quickly pivoting impaling a Soldier that was going for a sneak attack also in the face. Pulling out her blade as it vanished, while Yang past her.

Yang herself tackling down the last Shade Guard onto the ground before stabbing it in the neck taking it out. Two Shade's about to attack her with a sneak attack. Only for Goliath to flying into them. Grabbing both by the face before throwing them up in the air a bit. Ruby herself seeing this, saw three crates stack up in a stair shape. Leaping onto and then off the crates, she stabbed on in the chest killing it, while kicking the other one back to the ground. Where Corvo's stabbed it right through the neck before it burst into dark smoke. Yang herself moving as she caught her baby sis before she made contact to the ground. Letting her down moments later as she and Ruby dodged a Shade and Solider leaping at them. Goliath grabbing both by the heads as he crushed them seconds later with sheer brute force.

But Goliath let out a scream of sudden pain as he looked back, seeing on of the Soldier's had its claws dug into his tail. Annoyed by this point, Goliath used all his force as he swung his tail as the Soldier flung off losing its grip. Though it crashed right into three Shades that were getting ready to attack now. The force crushing all four as they were pushed against one of the walls of the homes as they burst into dark smoke. One Shade left about to escape before Blake kicked it in the face, followed by Corvo's pulling out a pistol as he let one bullet shot right through its head. The dark smoke like always showing up after as now all first wave heartless were taken care of. The girls taking a few moments now to catch their breath from the fight with the heartless.

"Sheesh, guess three weeks without fighting made us a bit Rusty with the Heartless." Yang quipped, but chuckled a bit as she felt good to get her barring's back fighting off the heartless. Though they did have other weapons on their belts currently, she and the girls already decided without even saying they'd focus on using their hidden blades primarily since they were technically their keyblades in a different form. Still three weeks of not actually fighting aside from daily training fights and last night's battle made the girls feel a bit rusty

"We'll have to practice some more in with the training room Merlin made for us when we get back home." Weiss exclaimed, as she hadn't realized she had just casually called their temporary home of Traverse Town just home this time. The others of team RWBY not taking much notice though considering their current situation

"That and see if some of the others back home will be willing to teach us some new combat techniques for later battles. I mean a good few of them seem experienced in combat, besides it's not bad to learn a few new tricks." Blake stated as she really did notice things were starting to get more harder from this one fight. Even if barely noticeable, these heartless from the Black Heart Cult seemed to be somewhat a bit more tactical in their attacks; again if barely noticeable in that change with the little dark beasts

"Totally. I'm sure they will, still good job girls!" Ruby happily cheered, as they did better than one would expect from not doing any actual fighting aside from one day and some training these past three weeks. Though she turned her gaze over to the other two with them for the time being "You two as well Corvo, Goliath. You were a real good help back there. So thanks."

"You are welcome young lady. You for are formidable yourselves if I say so." Goliath replied back kindly, already finding these girls quiet skilled; even though they could use some work here and there

"Agreed. I was honestly a bit worried you'd all be spoiled brats. Especially you Miss white hair. No offense." Corvo's remarked, pointing to Weiss in particular

"None taken. Honest." Weiss simply said, as she had to admit as much as she tried to not show it in her appearance. She did look like one of those spoiled rich girls, that and her attitude in the earlier days of Beacon before this all happened weren't her best moments of staving off that stereotype. Though taking her mind off that, she looked ahead seeing the gate to the city was opened. The others taking notice too moments after "So we all know this is a trap right?"

"Yes." Ruby, Weiss, Yang, Goliath and Corvo's answered; as it was pretty obvious that it was a trap. You'd have to be blind or have literally no brain to not see it

"Okay good. Just wanted to make sure. Still I guess we should go in. Best way to get this over with. Aside from the, well you know whole fact this is aa trap and all." Weiss remarked, as she hoped this wouldn't become harder than needed

So they group of six walked their way up to gate way to the city that looked empty already and no sound that could be heard. They all noticed Shades lined up on both sides if the pathway to the city gates, like they were guards in a formation. That and they fact they didn't try and attack anyone in the group was even more confusion. But the group ignored it for the time being and just kept on walking. After a minuet, they finally made it back to the open gate to the city. Looking at one another, they all entered the city with a wariness to them. But as they walked in first area of the town. Which was now proven to be devoid of any signs of life. The gates closed behind, a moment after what could be best described as a large holo of a woman's face appeared. The shape only being seen shape wise, as the holo was purple which in turn made the face purple and the eyes were just glowing light purple as the holo seemed to not be able to detail those either Same with the hair tied in a bun being a purple as well. To be honest the woman the group was now looking upon looked rather… normal, despite her allegiance.

"Aw look at you all, so daring to come into my home. But that's okay, I am a humble host hehe!" The odd woman quipped in quiet the chipper tone, even having a rather school girl chuckle that made this situation even more odd for the group "Any who, how rude of me. You may all know of me as Lady Bathabile. Black Heart Moral Priestess Tier One."

"Moral Priestess?" Blake, Yang and Corvo's muttered at the odd role this woman seemed to have considering the cult she was part of

"Tier One?" Ruby and Weiss asked confused at what 'Tier One' was supposed to mean. Goliath just raised an eyebrow at the odd terminology

"Yes, yes I know. Quiet the title, honestly I'm I think of myself as a happy fun loving Jester. Making all in my flock laugh and smile through these hard times!" Lady Bathabile remarked cheerfully, stars in her eyes like she was fulfilling a lifelong goal

"Okay gonna be honest, you're not as… crazy as the other guy." Yang stated as compared to Grand, this woman was an angel already

"Yeah he was insane. Creepy too since he looked like a skeleton with the skin still on him." Ruby replied as she looked at Blake and Weiss "Right gals?"

"He could have used some muscle to look a bit more normal I'll admit." Blake answered first, as the man really looked like he could have been broken in two easily when they first saw the now dead Grand

"That and a haircut." Weiss chimed in, with an amused tone as she and the girls chuckled for a moment. Though Corvo's and Goliath noticed the small barely noticeable change in Lady Bathabile's holo projection

"Um ladies…" Corvo's began to say, as he and Goliath noticed mainly the woman's smile changed just a bit. From sweet to… unsettling sweet; the kind of sweet that only the most dangerous of monsters used as the girls chuckled some more

[BOOM]

A loud boom suddenly echoed, the girls backing away a bit as a hole was near where Weiss stood. The girls and the other looking around wondering where the heck that came from. Only to see nothing as they stared back at the holo face of Lady Bathabile, who was smiling ever so sweetly.

"Yes, Grand. Poor dead Grand, who died by your hands no doubt. Even if not by your actual hands. You all had a role to play in his death either way. Which is why you're all on my hit list, why you may ask. Well because…" Lady Bathabile began saying as another shot came, the group dodging this time as it hit where Goliath had been as they all looked back at where the holo had been; gone as it seemed to have shut off

Now they could see the one of the few highest towers that the city had, but they could also see rather clearly a woman in a lovely wine red dress, with pale skin, yellow eyes and black hair tied in a bun. Fitting this world well, expect for the large rifle in her freaking hands. Colored in black and yellow with wisps of darkness coming off it. They could barely see the blood thirsty glare in she made, as she aimed again at the group ready to fire.

"BECAUSE HE WAS MY BROTHER!" Lady Bathabile roared, so loudly that it echoed all around the area itself sounding almost beast like at the end of it

"Oh no…" Ruby muttered, wide eyed as she then noticed Heartless from Shade's, Large Bodies, Wizards and a new kind of Heartless

It looked like the solider body wise, aside from the zig-zag mouth, goggles on its face, odd pointed hat with a propeller on top, pants like the soldier with brown knees, brown boot, silver cuffs and two bate like wings with where the Heartless emblem would be. Now replaced by the Black Heart Cult's symbol. The same could be same for the other Heartless now, all sporting the Black Cult Emblem.

-"Air Soldiers…."- The voice from the start of all this sudden said I Team RWBY's minds just like it always did with them at the times such as these

"NOW DIE LIKE THE TRASH YOU ARE!" Lady Bathabile roared as she fired another shot just to let out some of her rage, as the group decided without even saying to make their move to the tower Lady Bathabile was stationed at

"I hope the others are having an easier time then we are…" Ruby muttered as she hoped this would all end soon, so very soon…

-With Team Strawberry Pups, Plus others from team Echo-

"MORE, COME ON GIVE ME MORE!" Mordred screamed in blood thirsty glee as she impaled a Shade Guard through the skull as it twitched, followed by a lift with her blade as it cut through the rest of the upper half of the body; before bursting into black smoke. Then cleaved two Shades that so happened to appear next to her in half with one swipe of her blade "HAHA. THAT ALL YOU PUNK'S GOT!"

"Okay gonna be honest… she kind of scares me at times." Sakura muttered as she, alongside Kariya, Berserker, Lily, Clank and Nursery Rhyme decided to split their group up. As four were with the team on the right side. Plus the extra three being the teams temporary allies, while the other five were with the left side

Though as Sakura muttered that, having taken out her tenth heartless already, a Large Body was about to attack her form the right. Only for Berserker to land right on top of it slashing his blade for a vicious execution as the Large Body puffed into smokes moments later. Berserker turning his gaze at Sakura who flinched a bit at the rather scary mad man.

"Um… thanks." Sakura carefully said with a sheepish smile

"GRAHHH!" Berserker growled, before he charged at a few more heartless near them; while Kariya who had been using bugs he called Blade Wing Worm's came up seconds later

"Sorry about him… Sakura. Come on let's keep up." Kariya stated kindly, before joining Berserker in left over Heartless killing

"Why is my life like this now…?" Sakura mused, before continuing on to help clean up what stragglers there were with team Strawberry Pups

Meanwhile a bit ahead, Erza was with a few others taking out some Shades and Soldiers that were attacking form all sides. The ones with her being Ikail, Saki, Goofy and Ilia. All of them doing the best they could as they knew the others were having their own battles on their side of things with these large number of heartless.

"You know, never thought I'd be fighting heartless… WILL YOU PISS OFF!" Ilia swore as she threw a Shade that had tried to claw her throat out… for the tenth time before killing it with her whip from here that she'd grown fond of so far "That and with humans of all things!"

"WILL JUST SHUT YOU LITTLE RACIST!" Saki screamed taking out a Soldier with her blade; though was so sick of Ilia already. She swears to whatever gods were up there, she would do all she could to keep this racist nut job away from Blake even if she had to kill the woman one day

"PISS OFF YOURSELF BRAT!" Ilia screamed, as she dodged a swipe from a Soldier which was taken out by Erza, who gave her a slight glare as Ilia's blood froze a bit from how…scary she found the scarlet haired knight "Shutting up…"

"Better." Erza stated, before looking at Saki who flinched a bit from Erza's glare too. Silently nodding that she'd behave. Erza smiling a bit softer now "Good to see you understand as well. Anyways, back to Heartless hunting!"

With that Erza just lunged into at a few more Heartless to her left, while Ilia and Saki sighed, before Ikail came in on a Large Body with his sword through its throat as it slid on the ground. Stopping before turning into black smoke. Seconds later she looked at Ilia.

"You with me now." Ikail simply ordered as she cracked her neck, ready for the next battle to get into

"But-" Ilia was about to argue, before Ikail gave her a stern gaze that like Erza sent an uneasy chill down her spin "Y-Yes ma'am!"

"Good come along." Ikail stated, looking at Saki now with a kind smile "Stay safe Saki. Big Sister Ikail's orders!"

With that Ikail and Ilia made their way off to fight more heartless ahead of them with the others. Saki watching them go as by now she was use to Ikail being the Big-Big sister of most of the girls. Harmless fun really, but even her nick named Big Sis Yugiri seemed to be fond of having a metaphorical big-big sister like Ikail. But she didn't take notice of a Soldier lunging from the ground right under her to land a killing blow. Thankfully Goofy with Nursery Rhyme on his back like a stead, grabbed the Soldier in his jaw. Thrashing the heartless around before it was finished and poof into black smoke. Nursery Rhyme and Goofy looking back at her seconds later.

"Auntie Saki, are you okay!?" Nursery Rhyme asked as she leaped off of Goofy running as she hugged Saki's legs. Saki smiling as she patted the top of Nursery Rhymes head

"Yeah kiddo I'm fine. Hehe, I'm just glad Goofy here has been keeping you safe." Saki replied as by the middle of the week before this was occurring. Nursery Rhyme started calling her and the others of her undead group aunties, while Lily was her cousin. Her logic, since they were he mom Blake's summons that made them family already like most of the others which in this case were aunties. Oh how Saki though still getting used to being called that, loved Nursery Rhyme even more because of it. But looking back up at Goofy she couldn't help but smile a bit wider at the fateful hound "Good job. For real Goofy."

"Arf!" Goofy happily barked, before suddenly Berserker, Kariya and Sakura ran past them, then from behind them came Lily with Clank on her back like a backpack flying at what looked to be in built in helicopter blades

"Come on slow poke's hehe!" Lily stated with a giggle as Clank just smiled giving them a salute as the two fly to catch up with the rest

"Yeah, come on auntie let's go!" Nursery Rhyme happily mused, as Goofy moved down for Nursery Rhyme to get on. Which seconds later the child did, happily laughing as Goofy speed off just like that. Leaving Saki behind

"Man. What kind of family did I get myself into?" Saki muttered to herself at the insanity she was stuck in now, but as she ran to catch up too. She couldn't help but smile gleefully at the last week so far with the new members of her odd family

But as everyone else was catching up, in the far front, four of the more quicker destructive of the team were taking care of the brunt of the Heartless on the right side of the area. With focused ferocity added into to their onslaught.

"Six more down, Beat that Mila!" Apacci boasted, as she was just going at it with her own weapon with these heartless. The Shades and Soldiers were fun to kill, but she really like killing the Shade Guards. Thar and she had to admit, this dress she'd been wearing was quite loose for her to still fight in, that and the dagger she had too; that was fun to use

"Oh yeah well um…" Mila Rose who just got done hatching the head of a Soldier with her blade to. Now in a slight irritated mood hearing Apacci was beating her by a mere six Heartless. Looking to her left she saw a small cluster of eight Shades forming. Mila Rose seeing a semi-medium sized rock. Lifted it up and threw it killing the eight Shade that had just full formed into the battle field "Ha, look at that. Ten Apacci!"

"Cheap, the small one's only count as half points!" Apacci argued quickly, before grabbing a passing by Shade by the neck and breaking its neck before she threw the body to the side like an old rag doll

"Liar, since when!" Mila Rose screamed irritably, taking a quick side slash taking out two Shades and one Soldier

"SINCE NOW!" Apacci answered as she dodged a Large Body trying to slam into her, leaping up on it as she impaled it's head with her dagger as it fell over dead while Apacci laned back onto the ground easily enough

"OH FU-" Mila Rose was about to scream, until a Large Body that had been thrown into the ground landed right in front of her. Guin seconds later landing on its face with his heel as it poof into black smoke. Guin then followed up kicking back a Soldier that just arrived to attack him. The Soldier flying away into a group of Shade's before Guin took a few deep breaths looking at Mila Rose

"You okay?" Guin asked, calmly and kindly. Thought Mila Rose just nodded, smiling a bit with a sudden stutter while her cheeks donned on a slight blush

"Y-Yeah… thanks." Mila Rose answered as what she considered her heart was beating rather fast, Guin just giving her a nod before proceeding ahead to kill more Heartless. Though her smile turned to a frown once more when she saw the smug look on Apacci "WHAT?"

"Nothing. Lover girl." Apacci remarked smugly, as she bolted off to help Guin out with the heartless ahead

"You little-" Mila Rose was about to say, but was cut off when she saw Tae land in front of her now with a Shade in her jaw as she thrashed the creature around, while chocking out another Shade she had in her right hand. Both bursting into the usual black smoke, before she turned her attention to Mila Rose "Nice one Tae."

"Umff, grah, Gah!" Tae growled happily, before making what looked kind of like a smirk "Umff. Gao!"

"Wait what?!" Mila Rose yelled, a bit surprised as she along with most had learned how to understand Tae by this point. No small part of Fran and Jeanne's part too, but as Mila Rose demanded an answer. Tae already was running off "Not you too Tae, come on!"

But by this point it was no use as Tae was already furthering away to kill more Heartless with Guin and Apacci. Looking back she saw the others of their team catching up now. Letting out a sigh, she decided to just keep on going to help the front-front of this counter attack. Though as she began to do what she could to catch up, she wondered if on the other side they were having as much of an easy time as they were.

-Meanwhile with team Snow Bird, Plus others from team Echo-

"Take this and that, this AND THAT!" Ai screamed as she was using her spear to the best of her abilities she learned over this week as she took out three Shades trying to attack her. Those years of Pop Idol training really did help with the quick learning too, that and the armor was a blessing

With her were Da-Vinci, Tier, Scathach, Jeanne, Dante, Yugiri, Fran and Artoria. The others from the team Echo were Atalanta, Junko, Donald, Sung-Sun and Jack. Why were they all together you may wonder, that was because the heartless on this side decided to surround the group of fourteen. All from the group doing their best to fight off whatever heartless came at them.

"Nice form Ai!" Scathach replied, as she was doing the best she could to use the sword she'd had since they got to the Villa. Even now still trying to get used to it and her hidden blade. Not that she wasn't good with these new weapons of hers, no she was doing very well. It was just, they didn't feel the same like her spears always did

"Thanks Scathach!" Ai replied back, a small sense of pride in her now from the compliment by the woman who'd she learned was a master with spears, two to be exact; so this was a moral boost if any for the more serious of the undead seven

"Girls maybe less talking and-" Artoria began to suggest, dodging a lung attack from a Soldier from behind to her left. Kicking away a Shade in the face a moments later, before she sliced in half another Shade that had popped up from the ground for a upper cut attack "More fighting please!"

"Oh just let em talk, makes the fight more fun." Da-Vinci calmly stated, rather also calmly bashing in the skulls of the heartless around her with a mace she found in one of the old homes. Though she too was having some issues keeping calm mostly as she kept bashing in more heartless skulls "See look at Donald and Junko. They're keeping up and talking all the while having a clam focused mind."

"Ah, TO OUR LEFT DONALD. OUR LEFT!" Junko meanwhile screamed as in actuality she was freaking out beyond belief almost being attacked ever second so far. It was a good thing she had a dagger with her and was using it mostly out of a panic with a surprising number of heartless kills so far. Junko though quickly picked up Donald and aimed him at a Large Body charging her "TATCIAL DUCK!"

"QUACK!" Donald screeched as he was thrown, confused yet just went with it as he impacted with the Large Body seconds later. Followed by viciously biting kind of with his beak as the Large body began to thrash around, Junko out of fear kicking a Shade that popped up in front of her in the face before leaping onto the Large Body that fell over now on its back. Before proceeding to stab it in the neck repletely with her Dagger

"BAD, BAD DIE!" Junko screamed out of utter fear by this point. Pure mind numbing, but effective fear

"You we're saying!?" Artoria quipped, taking out a two Soldiers with one strike

"No comment!" Da-Vinci argued as she kneed a Soldier in the face as her own knee hurt a bit from contact, but also bashed in another Heartless skull on her left at the same time

"They really need to learn to focus more on the battle." Tier simply said. Having an easier time here as she was killing Heartless here and there, glad she still was allowed to use her own Zanpakuto since it seem like any other exotic off country sword when walking around with it. Doing a pivot she elbowed a Shade that tried a sneak attack from behind as it feel dead bursting into black smoke

"Well that is a bit unfair. Everyone does have their own ways to handle battle of course." Yugiri replied back as she ended up fighting alongside Tier by this point, along with two others also. All the while using her short sword, she was glad her old skills even if a bit rusty on using a blade from when she was alive were still with her. Blocking a Shade attack, she kicked it in the face hard as it flew back away from her. She was also glad her undead form did make her and the girls a bit stronger than humans in general too. Tier just shrugged as she kept on fighting, while Yugiri decided to get some more opinion's here "Thoughts?"

"You mean us Yugiri?" Jeanne asked, as she and Fran were also with the two having been forced by the attacking heartless as they huddled up

"Well yes, it is just us girls. Even in battle we should be able to have some kind of conversation no?" Yugiri quipped as Jeanne chuckled a bit, alongside Fran and Tier simply just listened on as they fought off more incoming heartless

"That is true in some cases, but-" Jeanne began to say, but stopped when she blocked a Large Body's charge attack with her sword; just in time to as Fran followed up with a jump kick to the side of the Large Bodies face. Which caused it to stagger as Tier quickly moved in stabbing it in the stomach three times before if burst into dark smoke "Thank you girls… anyways I was saying. At times yes, but there are also times where talking can be a bit distracting. Also Yugiri duck for a moment."

Yugiri did so, as Jeanne proceeded to throw her sword right into the face of a Shade that was about to attack her. Yugiri quickly standing back up, but not before taking the sword Jeanne just threw from the ground and throwing it back to Jeanne who caught it. Both giving each other a quick nod of thank you before proceeding on with the fight.

Meanwhile the last pocket of this counter attack from the Heartless ambush was with Atalanta, Sung-Sun, Dante and Jack. All who were doing what they could to fight off the heartless.

"I hate these things more and more each time I fight them." Dante muttered irritably, taking out a few heartless with a scythe. The one's famers used to cut the grass to be exact, since during this fight a Soldier was able to get his sword stuck in in a tree before breaking it. Thankfully, there was a scythe that was lying near some of the other farming tool in one of the homes in the area. Dante meanwhile took another quick swing at a Large Body, leaping up while doing so as he quickly sliced the Heartless head off clean "Hate them so very much…"

"As do we all Dante." Atalanta simply muttered as she was glad that she and the girls were able to talk with Dante before all this occurred today, made things less tense as they fought together. Looking to her left she saw Sung-Sun was taking out a few Heartless fairly easily even if she was in a dress and only using a dagger. Seeing one Shade about to get the drop on her, she took aim with her temporary bow and fired taking it out moments later as Sung-Sun looked back at her

"Thank you Atalanta." Sun-Sung happily said, with a small smile as Atalanta gave her a nod before both went back to taking out more heartless in their vicinity

Meanwhile Jack was taking out Shade's and Soldiers also with relative ease. The fact she was already a skilled assassin when she was mortal in her first life helped. That and during this whole week so far, she'd gotten very use to how the hidden blade worked as she was happy in this world. Even if most would see them as evil. The Assassin Order was on the side of good, that was a first for her; but a great first. Still as she dodged and fought on, she couldn't help but worry about her mommy, mama and aunties. Even with those two new allies with them. The sounds she was hear, constant boom's that echoed weren't making her feel any better. That and the few unsettling inhuman roar that just started up almost a minuet ago. She had a feeling everyone else was feeling the same too, especially Nursery Rhyme since it was vice versa between the two's family members.

"That's it I'm gonna help them." Jack muttered as she looked around seeing the others had this handled easily. That and she really wanted to help her mommy, mama and aunties along with the other two with whatever was making that boom noise

So taking out one more Shade, she looked back seeing the others were still busy as can be fighting off the heartless around them. Looking to the way back it was clear, that's when she took her moment to go for it as she knew the others would stop her if they saw her currently. So as she ran and ran to get in the city, be it through the gateway or over the wall. She would be there for her family. She just hoped they were doing okay.

"OH COME ON, DOES THAT THING EVER NEED TO RELOAD NOW?!" Ruby screamed as she looked around a corner of the wall she was using for cover for a moment. Before she was pulled back by Weiss, as a loud earth shatter boom passed by where she'd just stood

"Ruby what did I say about standing out there!" Weiss scolded her girlfriend, as this was the third time she did that. Looking to the other side of the street they were on, they saw Blake and Yang doing the same thing. Yang giving Weiss a silent thank you for what she just did as yet another earth shattering boom passed by them like it was a warning shot

"Hehe…sorry sweetie. I just ah, got a little irked is all." Ruby sheepishly replied back as she knew better, but for real this Lady Bathabile was just the worst and considering what they've dealt with so far that was saying a lot

Speaking of said Lady Bathabile or now as she called herself High Priestess Bathabile. She had pulled a Lord Grand, silting her own throat as the Soldier variant this time fused with her through said wound. Now High Priestess Bathabile was even more powerful than before. Appearance wise though she looked just how Grand had when he did this, aside from a more female form and the fact she had two bat like wings. That and the fact her gun now fired faster, made bigger impacts and also seemed to not reload. Yeah, she was so far the worst the girls had faced. Thankfully the boys were keeping the Heartless with her at bay.

With Corvo's taking the attention of the groundside heartless in the area with his rather unique skill set that fitted his rather assassin like appearance. He was showing to be quiet the force to be reckoned with. All the while Goliath was taking care of the newly introduced heartless know as Air Soldiers in air to air combat. Goliath mentions he really only glides and it's not actual flying, but the way he was moving around seemed to really contradicted his statement. Either way the boys were keeping the heartless at bay, while the girls were left to deal with miss crazy revenge head still up in her tower shooting down at them every chance she could. To be perfectly honest, the girls had only gotten a good three feet closer to the woman's position out of… well however longer it would take to get to her. Not including having to climb up the tower she stood upon, without getting shot. Still when life give's you lemons, you make lemonade as the old saying goes. The life being the girls and the lemon's being the mad, dark infused revenged filled woman with a endless clip sniper rifle that created semi-large impacts with every shot… quiet the lemon's.

"Ruby what's the plan?" Yang yelled, as even through the loud booms Yang knew Ruby could read lip somewhat; at least to the extent that include making secret plans like stealing the cookie jar or planning to take out their dad's car for a few drives around their home for fun. Yang herself even got pretty good at it herself, a sort of sister language of their own

"No idea, just wing it I guess!" Ruby yelled back, as Yang couldn't help but agree with that logic. They didn't have many options in the first place anyways, so this was better than nothing. Though Weiss and Blake seeing the two sisters seeming to have a chat somehow in all this madness, look at each other shrugging in confusion on what they were even saying

Though as the two sisters were talking on what could be done for the plan. Weiss decided to take a quick peep on to around the corner herself. Maybe see if she could get a good quick look to find something they could use to help against this mad woman. But as she did. She didn't notice a small piece of brick on the ground jutted up just high enough to be unnoticeable, but still a hazard. That was when the tip of her boot tripped over it. Causing Weiss to fall over and right out into the sights of High Priestess Bathabile.

"THERE YOU ARE!" High Priestess Bathabile screamed, aiming her rifle right at Weiss who went wide eyed at the sudden realization. The woman couldn't help but smile ever wider in glee as she began to pull the trigger "DIE!"

"WEISS NO!" Ruby screamed in horror, as she ran right in front of Weiss like a protective shield. It was seconds later she felt a searing pain in the left side of her stomach. Looking down she saw Weiss looked at her wide eyed in a panic. Though the only reason no more shooting was happening right now was because the High Priestess Bathabile was laughing madly like she got a sense of utter uncontrollable glee seeing others in pain

"RUBY!" Weiss shrieked as Ruby fell over in pain. No blood oddly, that and the bullet shards could be seen on the ground like something had stop it from hitting her. But that didn't matter, Weiss quickly pulled Ruby back behind cover, laying her on the ground as she began to look over her "Sweetie, sweetie oh my gosh what we're thinking?!"

"Weiss how's Ruby?" Blake asked all of sudden, as Weiss looked seeing that Blake and Yang had taken this moment with the mad woman's uncontrollable laughter to get over to where they were at. The sounds of Corvo's and Goliath still fighting could be heard fighting too, so they could at least be at ease no heartless would attack them

"Ruby, come on baby sis. Can you hear us?!" Yang asked in a panic, as she was making sure her baby sisters wound wasn't bleeding out which to her surprise along with Blakes it wasn't "What the… why isn't there any blood. That and it looks like it's slowly healing?"

"W-What…?" Ruby muttered, somewhat hearing what Yang just said. Though she did feel an incredible amount of pain, oddly she also felt the skin of her stomach slowly knitting back together "How…"

-"Y-You're… wel… welcome…"- The voice in Ruby's head stated, sound tired. So very tired as it sounded like the irritating voice saved her

Though as Ruby laid through her incredible amount of pain, her wound slowly healing; but would most likely be bruised until she could get it treated properly. Only to hear a pair of little footsteps. Noticing barely the others hearing it, and looking in that direction. Ruby forced herself too look where the girls were even if it felt like a dagger was twisting in her stomach. But she went wide eyed enough to see it was Jack, looking shocked as she looked back at her.

"MOMMY!" Jack yelled worriedly as she ran up to Ruby "Mommy, mommy what happened!?"

"Jack what are you doing here young lady?" Weiss asked shocked herself that her daughter was her, along with wondering how she got her past all the heartless outside the gate

"Mama, what happened to mommy?" Jack asked tearing up a bit, as she moved closer to Ruby "Mommy. Please be okay…"

"I…I'm fine…." Ruby tried to say, but was cringing from the pain that crept despite the slow healing going on

"Shh. Ruby don't talk." Blake replied back, before looking at her niece "Jack is Nursery Rhyme with you?"

"N-No auntie Blake." Jack answered tearing up some as Weiss had moved closer to help sooth her worried as sick daughter looking down at Ruby "Mommy. Who did this…?"

"That crazy lady out there kiddo." Yang answered, calmly for her niece; but filled with anger too as she looked back at the behind them where the laughing echoed

"Crazy lady…?" Jack muttered, as she hadn't taken notice of the laughing actually until now since she'd been so set on finding her mommy, mama and aunties

Though as she finally heard the mad gleeful cackling of the so called 'Crazy Lady' something suddenly… snapped. Like really snapped, an anger rising inside her as she realized this woman. Had hurt her mommy, even if she hadn't killed her mommy. She HURT her mommy enough to have her make a face full of pain. Jack clenched her fists as she and the others hear a set of wings flap before the sounds of feet hitting the ground echoed. The 'Crazy Lady' must have landed down to them to finish them off. But whatever else was going on around went deaf. As Jack's anger rose and rose, standing back up as she clenched her fists.

Then without her realizing, mist started to form around her, her mommy, mama and aunties. Along with a sudden change that Jack didn't take notice of and yet it would ever be so… familiar.

"HAHAHA, oh I'm coming for you my little…" Hight Priestess Bathabile proclaimed, still getting over her glee at seeing one of the girls shot; most likely in pain now. But she had been in pain too, so much pain from hearing of her brother's death. Though as she was taking her time moving near the corner the four girls were hiding behind, knowing she'd enjoy killing them. She was inches away, before she suddenly noticed… mist "What the… mist, I made no gloomy mist in my lovely new kingdom?!"

But as High Priestess Bathabile ranted a bit, she realized the mist started to hurt her lungs badly and she began to cough. The darkness that should be keeping her healthy even if being poisoned wasn't working. Falling to her knees and covering her mouth as her throat burned a bit. She coughed a bit more, even with some black blood coming out from how hard she coughed. But she fought through the pain, standing back up with a bit of a stumble in the legs. But once she was up, she realized she wasn't in her new little kingdom anymore.

No, now she was in a large city, with many buildings as far as the eye could see. Below her feet was a one of many roads, on the sidewalks of the area where lamp lights, which were the only sources of light in the suddenly night filled sky. Looking around High Priestess Bathabile was more confused than ever, even a bit nervous. Since despite what could be believed about her from an outsiders perspective. In actuality, compared to her brother. Who had been known to have a high quality of magic potential. Her gun and some hand to hand combat were really the only tools of combat she had. The heartless darkness inside her very soul now barely helped her in the regard to combat. But she wouldn't falter, not now.

"Come on out. I have a PRESENT FOR YOU!" High Priestess Bathabile screamed, through her slight uneasiness as she fired a shot into the ground next to her "No need to be afraid. I'll make your deaths it nice and-"

But before she could say more, suddenly something past her. Leaving a cut on her cheek as she fired another round at the direction of the attack. But she hit nothing, then another cut from the back came cutting her other cheek a litter deeper. High Priestess Bathabile firing another round and one more after that towards the new direction. But no hit again.

"Alright who did that. Come out now or-" High Priestess Bathabile screamed, only for her to feel… well nothing when it came to her right arm moments later. That and a thump that sounded like metal hitting the ground, followed by a second thump like a second piece of metal hit the ground too. Looking she saw her gun from the barrel was cut in half now, followed from all the way up to her bicep. The lower part of her arm was on the ground too. Blood pouring from her wound as it was a clean cut, it took a moment for her to realize what just happened "AH, AH OH MY LORD OF DARKNES MY ARM. WHAT'S HAPPENING?!"

Hight Priestess Bathabile got her answer a moment later. As a sudden chill went down her wings and spine, looking behind her she saw… a small little girl in a rather revealing outfit. With two daggers in her hands and a gaze from her green colored eyes. The little girl just stared at her, stared and stared before she titled her head just a bit to the right. Then donning a smile no little girl should ever make. Seconds later in a blink of an eye, High Priestess Bathabile felt a knife in her stomach. Looking down there was one, deep in her stomach, before looking back up at the little girl with only one knife in her hands. Before she jumped back into the mist and followed by the sounds of some giggling. High Priestess Bathabile though wasn't willing to take her chances, as even in her enhanced form. She was terrified. Seconds later she began running the opposite direction. Dow and down the streets that seem to never end, while not caring anymore if the mist was still burning her throat.

"WHAT ARE YOU, LEAVE ME ALONE!" High Priestess Bathabile pleaded like a child as she ran and ran, feeling she was being watched always. That was until she felt two more daggers stab into her feet, halting her in place as she could feel the searing pain of that too. Trying to move a bit, she couldn't as she felt the blade cut into the flesh of her feet a bit "Damnit…. DAMN YOU CHILD, WHY, WHY?!"

"Because you hurt mommy." The little girl voice suddenly said all around her as the mist was all High Priestess Bathabile could see by this point. The tone of the little girl was full of wrath, yet calm which was unnerving more than it should be "You're female too… good. That just mean's I'm in element."

"Element…" High Priestess Bathabile muttered, only to notice the mist start to part just ahead of her. Then she saw the little girl standing there. Before the child got into a slightly crouching stance while the everywhere else around went completely dark. A sudden deathly cold feeling went up all over High Priestess Bathabile body "W-Wait!"

"Hell starts here…." The little girl began to say, calmly and happily too as a dark aura of black and red mist shrouded the child

"Please… y-you don't want to kill. Y-You wouldn't do that t-to someone hurt…. R-right little girl?" High Priestess Bathabile exclaimed, trying to reason with the child. Only to see a single lamp light glow to her right. Before she found herself in an alley way now, with no way out expect past the little girl; which increased the woman's fear ten fold

"We are the fire, the rain, the power..." The little girl said again, as the fog became so thick that High Priestess Bathabile could only see her hands barely. Until she saw two read lite eyes stare at her "Let the slaughter begin…"

"NO, NO PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!" High Priestess Bathabile pleaded like a child, a scared child as she teared up a bit too. Pure horror filled her entire being by this point, realizing what was coming next. Then she heard the last word's she'd ever hear in this life of hers

"MARIA THE RIPPER!" The little girl screamed as not even seconds later, one hit was landed on High Priestess Bathabile. Then two, three, four, five all the way up to ten. Each one the little girl seemed to put extra strength and glee into the attacks

Though once it was done, High Priestess Bathabile stood there for a few moments. Still and motionless before rivers of black blood began to gush out from the wounds received. Her flesh ripping and tearing, with finally her heart bursting out of her chest as it exploded into a mushy mess. Her body fell over dead as her eyes were still wide in horror. Then her spiritual heart or what was left of it floated out, looking disfigured before it simply burst into dark smoke. Leaving the mangled dead body of High Priestess Bathabile, as the only evidence left that she ever existed.

Jack was taking a few deep breaths. Even if this the 'Crazy Lady' didn't put much of a fight. Jack had put extra in her noble phantasma just for this one occasion. How she didn't know, but it was over. Still it confused her a bit, as lately she at least had been feeling more… solid. All servants though human looking or otherwise in appearance. Even bleeding if harmed, were only just condescend prana to make their bodies. But again as of lately these past three weeks, Jack's body felt much more different. More heavy, more… real. She felt real hunger lately, a need for water, a need for sleep, a need to well use the bathroom as her mommy and mama called it. Heck even the fact she was brought here differently since she knew she usually referred to herself as 'We' but was this whole time refereeing to herself as just 'I' was another reason to cause confusion. She wasn't the only one too, she'd overheard or talked to the other servants who felt the same. None had brought up with the girls or the others though since they didn't want to add any unneeded issues.

Still that's why Jack was feeling tired, that's why also despite her origins as a famous serial killer in her world. Looking at the dead mangled body of High Priestess Bathabile, instead of what she would usually have felt which was some joy. Now she only felt… regret, disgust, pity. She felt uneasy of all things… maybe… maybe her mommy and mama had a much more impact on her already even if it had been only three weeks. Though before she knew it, the mist and world of her old home London began to vanish. Before Jack felt her clothing this past week on her body once more and just like that she was in the city still covered by darkness. But also showing the darkness was starting to fade away.

"JACK!" The voices of Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang yelled. Jack looking back to see her mommy, mama and aunties in a panic. Like they were looking for her, then again Jack hadn't seen them there so maybe that was why; still Jack couldn't help but be happy to see their worry for her. Especially seeing her mommy Ruby even in pain looking alive and okay

"MOMMY!" Jack yelled, running to Ruby as she hugged her mommy "Mommy, mommy you're okay!"

"Of course… of course I am." Ruby said through the pain still there. The wound was as fine as it could be. Aside from what she guessed would be discoloring, swelling and pain that would linger for some time "But Jack where's…. oh."

Oh indeed, as Ruby and the girls happy to see Jack was okay, looked ahead to… well to also see a grizzly sight of a dead mangled body of High Priestess Bathabile. Looking back down moments later though, they all noticed Jacks face was pressed against Ruby's coat as the young child started crying a bit.

"Jack, sweetie what's wrong?" Weiss asked concernly, as she began to stroke her hands through her daughters hair

"I-I-I did a bad…" Jack stated as the girls realized, looking back at the grizzly sight; then back down at Jack. What she was crying about "Y-You said not to hurt people… b-but I got mad when I saw mommy hurt. Really mad and… and… don't hate me…."

"Jack." Ruby despite her pain, said in a motherly way as she moved herself to give Jack a hug. The little girl sniffled some still "Baby girl… no, no. We could never hate you."

"She right baby. No matter what you do, like we've said before. We'll love you till the ends of the time itself." Weiss added in sweetly as she joined the hug while Jack sniffled a little less; but enough that Ruby and Weiss knew they still had to sooth their own daughter. Blake and Yang just stood silently next to the others, though shocked by that Jack had done that to High Priestess Bathabile. They too still loved Jack the same as the niece she was to them, to be honest they were just glad everyone was safe

But as the silent scene of comfort occurred. None of them noticed the world around them was going back to normal. The darkness was nearly gone as the bodies of the citizens began to fade back. Like High Priestess Bathabile hadn't killed the civilian's. Only used a spell to place them elsewhere. Still none of the girls or Jack took notice of this or the fact like in Jaks world. Their bodies began to glow and lift up in the air slightly. Then just like that they were gone. The world itself fixed as the city was back to normal, the body of High Priestess Bathabile seeming to have vanished, along with the heartless too. No damage from before could be seen and people were walking around like nothing had happened. Then again, to them that might as well be the case.

-Elsewhere…-

It was another day for the Queen of light. Sitting upon her throne as she contemplated on the events as of lately. While her remaining Guardian's of light were honing their skills more in her training facility. She hoped Goliath and Corvo's were doing okay enough in that world facing off one of… his lackies. His broken minded lackies. She could only pity the creatures, for that's all she could see them as. Creatures so rabid that they needed to be taken down if only for a mercy. Still she pondered on the events that her spies had been recording and sending back to her viva live feed through their own eyes to hers.

Everything so far had been… odd, much odder then she'd thought would occur. So many things that changed the way the stories of the worlds those four girls visit were playing out. Maybe not by much, but then again she realized the four heroes of this mission. Those four young girls, had no idea how much actual impact they could have on the worlds they visited to save, to investigate or maybe both. To be honest the Queen of light didn't know if that was bad thing or a good thing. Because if… no WHEN they figured it out. No one, even her would know how much could be changed simply because of those four girls interference. But as she thought and thought. She was snapped back to reality as she felt a tap on her left shoulder.

Looking to her left she saw her most loyal of allies in her faction. Her loyal maid Erie, only two years older than her… well appearance wise since she looked like a eighteen year old even now. Wearing her trade mark black suit coat and skirt, with her black heels and her black tinted glasses. Her pale if nearly ash grey skin and nearly bone blonde hair along with her ever stoic calm face. She was the only one who the Queen Of light herself trusted with her life fully to.

"Yes Erie?" The Queen Of Light asked ever so kindly, like she did with all her subjects

"My Lady, scanners have shown that Agent Corvo's and Agent Goliath have returned." Erie answered, her glasses displaying a holo vid of Corvo's and Goliath coming back through what looked to be a mechanically made portal. Some of the workers there helping the two up as they seemed a bit queasy, the again coming back through said portals seemed to do that for first time portal users

"I see. Did the scanners we gave them pick up anything odd and unusual?" The Queen Of Light asked yet again, as she could already tell that… that man's little rabid bitch must have been taken care of than and whatever had occurred there was stopped. Though she wondered what her scanners would pick up, the newest model of implants that her Guardian's had agreed to getting. Was pretty simple to since she used a spell that just popped them under their skin and could be taken out easily too. Still she was hoping these new models worked well enough

"Yes. Here let me show you." Erie answered as the holo view from her glasses, now displayed a chart of energy signatures. With a what looked to be two sentences in an lettering that to most would make no sense. Though Erie noticed her ladies sudden uneasiness, even if her Lady wore a helmet always; she could tell by how her ladies body stiffening that it wasn't good news at all "My Lady, what is wrong?"

"A few things dear Erie. A few troubling things… for one the World Conformity Protocol was overridden, thankfully it was returned back to normal but… Well secondly, these energy readings corresponding to this involve one of the non-natives servants doing so. Thing is, no one being no matter what can…unless… unless it's happening sooner then expected." The Queen Of Light stated, sounding a bit more worried now

"My Lady. What are talking about?" Erie asked, as she was utterly confused on what her lady was going on about

"I… it's… it's complicated. All I can say is this though. This is all starting up because of those four girls. The four new keyblade masters." The Queen of light exclaimed as she sighed "But then again, those other four. The one's before these one's were the cause of many problems we're dealing with now. Maybe… no, no."

"Those other four, who would that be?" Erie asked as she'd only been in service to her Lady a good five years now so she had no idea on her Ladies past. Then again her Lady was usually very tight lipped about it "My Lady. Please, I need to understand if I'm able to help you at all. Please."

"I… yes you're right. Wel to start off it was a darker time." The Queen Of Light exclaimed as she sighed seeming uneasy, but still willing to talk about it "Back then my kingdom, all this you see my dear Erie. Well it wasn't as nearly large or secure. At that time I only had a good thousand or so under my command. All of having made it our mission to fight the Heartless along with the darkness that followed them. But we knew we had to do it in the background, as there had been news of four warriors of light arriving to help. Along with two more following a bit after that, all separated but allies to the light. Well at least the two of them were, the ones who came in later I mean. The first four… they… they turned out to be utter monsters."

"Really… how my Lady?" Erie asked as this was something she had never heard before, but the way her Lady was reacting to just talking about this subject. She could tell, it wasn't a subject easily spoken on

"I will only say this. Those four though so sweet and kind at the started showed in the end their true self's. Their hearts so twisted and broken that even the Heartless seemed good compared to those four mistakes. At least the Heartless do what they do because that's just how they are, those four girls though… they just found what they did fun after a while." The Queen Of Light explained, as the memories alone were still fresh in her mind. So many of her thousand dead by the end of it all that she was lucky to even have two hundred left when she tried to stop those four's more darker moments. That and what was left in the worlds they had visited, what acts of… inhumanity those four happily did over and over again. But realizing she was almost going into a trace, she quickly went back to the explanation if only to save what was left of her sanity thanks to those four mistakes "Yeah, real bad. Though it's only more tragic considering that the first good few natives in the world they went to, were quiet the more good influences on them."

"Really. Who were they.. I mean if you remember or even feel like talking on it more." Erie asked, but was a bit worried that she may have been asking too much of her Lady at this point

"No it's fine honest. Though I can't remember most of their names. There was one that seemed back then to be a good start for the girls. Actually he was the first one they meet and befriended since his world was the first to be visited." The Queen Of Light quipped as she brought up an image of a man viva her own magic doing so as Erie look upon the image as it looked like it had just been taken hours ago

Eris could see this man was avenger in height, muscular too with peach skin, a strong jawed face, blue eyes and brown hair. His attire was a pair of old black buckled boots, black pants with some weathering around the knees and light brown gun belt that had a holstered pistol on the right. The upper half consisted of a blue shirt that also looked worn in, with a tan worn leather jacket over the shirt, a tan satchel over his coat and with a black necktie around his neck. Finally he had a black weathered black cowboy hat.

"Who's this?" Erie asked, curious on this man as he gave off a stern gunslinger sort of vibe to her at least

"Arthur Morgan. Ironically a man who was part of some gang of thief's. My scouts back then didn't get too much info sadly, one of them almost got killed by them even. Mainly because he'd stumbled a little to close into their camp. Thank the light he was a good actor or his drunk act wouldn't have worked. Anyways, those four mistakes joined up with that gang and that's all we got before I had to call my scouts back in. Well aside from some info later on of those girls leaving that world a bit after that, then coming back before they never returned. Whatever happened I can't say, though they seemed different by the last visit. But again, I saw Arthur Morgan as a man who was stern and blunt, a bit violent too. But saw him as a man you could call a perfect example for people who had a bad past, can still change to be better or something along those lines. When he'd met the girls, I was hopeful his actions would help influence those for those four for the duration of their journey then. Sadly that wasn't enough." The Queen Of Light explained, sounding a bit upset by this point "Currently, I can't remember much of the other good influences the girls had meet. Not one bit. But I do remember more of the later allies those four had. From what my scouts reported in at least during that time, most if not all of them were extremely veil individual's. Who were most likely the reason those four mistakes started to embrace their twistiness instead of fighting it. Many veil people I will not speak of. So do not ask, pleased Erie."

"I…I understand my lady." Erie simply stated as she sighed, before suddenly a alarm blinked on her glasses internal holo-HUD "Oh. My Lady it seems the four keyblade wielders and their allies are back on their ship. Do… do you think that was a good idea to send some of our agents to bug the ship while they were down in the current world?"

"Yes. Yes I do." The Queen Of Light answered calmly, as she straighten her back against the throne before she took a deep breath "Yes. Because no matter what, I'll do what's necessary to see the light has won. No matter what it may cost."

"I… I see." Erie simply stated, feeling a bit uneasy of her Lady's tone. Thankfully as she got another notification to distracted her from this uneasy feeling "Oh my Lady good news. Our scouts have gotten some more information on the last world door connected to that odd wasteland that itself is connected to Traverse Town."

"I see. Well at least they found that out, sad they still haven't found the villain's lair. But hopefully soon that will occur. Still prep me on this final world, I'll see if I can send one or two of the Guardian's based on your report." The Queen Of Light happily said, as at least they got more solid info on the last world door in that strange wasteland that connected a few other doors and Traverse Town that served as the four keyblade wielders home

"Indeed. Though if I may suggest sending the more human one's. This world is well…" Erie explained as she tried finding a good enough word to explain "Normal."

"Normal?" The Queen Of Light asked confused and curious. Because considering their line of work, normal was a very subjective term…

-Somewhere...-

In a world called Earth, in a country know as America, in a state know as Washington DC, in a building that housed an organization called th FBI. Were two people who were just like everyone else. They worked they're everyday. But unlike all the others, these two seemed to deal with some form of… oddness or at least they will be soon. But that is for later, as these two have only meet almost a week ago. One of these two was sitting in her office.

-"Nope…nope…nope. Stop thinking about it. It was something odd I'll admit. BUT there's most likely a logical explanation. Not hehe… not what he suggested. No… no…. no."- A woman thought as she sat in her office, going over a few files from a recent case. She was short-ish, pale skinned with neck length red hair and blue eyes. Wearing a tanned business coat, tanned knee length skirt, black socking and black heels. A cross neckless hung around her neck too. This woman currently was going over a mental breakdown of a case she was on with her now new partner after being assigned to work for him of course under the intent by her superiors to discredit the mans work. She again was still having a bit of a hard time rationalizing the case then

It was odd in so many ways, even before going to the town it occurred at. Involving dead young adults who happened to also share a same graduation year from high school. She and her now partner had encountered again so much strangeness for the case. From digging out a body that looked too mutated to be human, visiting a hospital were two of the graduates both stayed. One a young man who was basically brain dead or in some sort of state of inactivity and the other a young woman unable to walk with some mental issues.

All the while dealing with a rather unwarm welcome from the town's adult population and even the town's police force; mainly the sheriff. Then to only find out that these kids had some freaking probe in them, made of an unknown metal. But to finally figure out it was the brain dead young man from the hospital, since the young woman earlier had somehow been able to walk again; only to be hit by a car and presumed dead. BUT, it made it even more were since the young man also happened to be the sheriffs son. Th young man kidnapping a girl who'd been part of that class year and was scared of being next to die like the rest. For finally a confutation between her, her partner against the Sheriff who knew this was happening, then conceived to try and help stop his son who was about to kill the young girl he'd kidnapped. Almost killing his son in the process, before some bright light to appeared and the then dead brain kid to seemingly wake up back to normal. The girl was saved and that was that. But still it was… really weird.

But again there had to be some sort of logical explanation. There was just no way what her partner had explained was real. NO way, absolutely no-

"Scully?" A man suddenly said, breaking the woman or Scully out of her train of thought. As she looked up seeing her now partner, one Fox Mulder

Fox was a taller man, peach skin with brown eyes and with short brown hair. He wore a dark n suit, with a light blue undershirt and a blue tie. He was a man that Scully or Dana Scully being her full name knew even before become his partner from the school she went to get her ready and prepped for a future in this kind of life style. If only by a nickname everyone else gave him, which was 'Spooky Mulder'. Why was he called this you may ask.

Simple, Mulder though a genius in his own rights when it came to their job. Was much more if not obsessed with his department known as the X-Files. A section of the FBI that handles cases that are unsolvable or so out there that they could only be labeled as paranormal in nature even if most didn't believe that stuff was real. Even herself despite the last case and even if she may have some… conflicting idea's if it really was 'out there' or not. What she saw said otherwise, but her mind; one of a woman of science argued with that even now. Still even if she may be skeptical of Mulder's ideas of aliens and such. She didn't mind him, there were oddly friends already.

"You okay. You're kind of out of it Scully." Mulder asked, as Scully just sighed rolling her eyes as she could see he was teasing her a bit

"I'm fine. What are you doing here anyway?" Scully asked, raising an eyebrow just a bit as Mulder found an empty seat and took it

"Well. Actually I wanted to ask something. Have you been hearing the news lately?" Mulder asked "You know, on the missing people around the area?"

"Yes, about three so far. Why?" Scully asked, as she had no idea where Mulder was going with this since it still wasn't a case that the FBI was brought into… yet at least

"That's the thing. I've been hearing other reports myself. Little dark creatures popping up at each scene of the crime." Mulder exclaimed "Just thought you'd want to know. Just incase you decided to travel down any dark shrouded areas is all."

"Very funny." Scully muttered, rolling her eyes as that last part was so out there that it was too stupid to even be real. Heck, Big Foot compared to so called 'Little dark creatures' was more plausible if barley "Anyways if you don't mind I still have some paper work to do."

"I can see that. But I also came by to just talk, see if you wanted to grab some lunch. We'll be working together a lot more. So might as well get to know each other better." Mulder explained "Just to say, I don't do this with just anyone so you know."

"Hm…" Scully hummed, as she knew he was still teasing her a bit just for the fun of it. But he did have a point, they were partners now even if they still did separate cases at times. So might as well, besides she skipped breakfast today so she was reasonably hungry "You know what. Sure, but your buying."

"Such a good start to know each other better I guess." Mulder mused, as he got up and Scully following behind him. The two exiting the room, as the lights turned off as today seemed just like any other normal day

That's a wrap!

So anyways, as you may all have noticed at the bottom. This was just the first Arc of the story or in other terms the Prologue. Yes the Prologue. I decided a ways back that it would be much easier to separate each sections I originally planned out into story arcs. So this is the first one/prologue of the story, the next I will say will start to coining in the fact of why I have SO many characters in the first place. Since things will start shinning on the girls and their exploits with this basically small private army/ dysfunctional family of theirs. Along with the other factions starting to come in more to play too. More twists, turns and such will be seen with what's to come next also. So I hope you'll enjoy what's to come.

That and as you can see too, the last and final world has been revealed. The X-Files for this who don't know, for those who do. I hope I got Scully's and Mulders personalities right. Along with the quick re-cap of episode one of the series. It's been a while since I've watched the series. So if I didn't then tell me fellow X-Files fan's. But I do hope you like this addition to this odd story of mine so far. That and some of the information involving the religious aspects of this chapter. The one's involving Dante, Jeanne etc. I hope I got that information right too.

One last note before I do end this little note here, but for those wondering if this will have a clear end. If you are, can't say who or if any; but I'd rather clear this up. BUT, I do already have pretty much how the rest of this story is going to go to the end. When I won't say, but that's half the fun there ain't it.
