*Tony Stark- Iron Man

He was at a meeting in Japan the first time he met her, she was the assistant to the CEO of the most prominent Medical Care and Weapons Company in the world. At least he though she was just the assistant, it wasn't until a few meetings down the road before he found out that she was a doctor in her own right and next in line to run the company herself. Their meeting was a little different then what he was known for in those days, Pepper Potts had just gotten married and quit, so Tony did what he did best. He buried himself so deep in his work that no one saw him for months, then one day he came out of his lab and decided he was going to be just as focused as a CEO.

His new assistant had been so surprised to see him that she screamed when he turned around in his desk chair. Long gone, it seemed, was the no caring playboy and in his place stood a man that acted his age and ran his company accordingly. At least until he met her. He would be lying if he said he didn't flirt with her upon their first meeting but he was impressed when she smoothly and politely turned him down.

That didn't however, stop him from asking her out every time he saw her after that, she had a no nonsense air about her that seemed to draw him in. Six months after they met he saw her angry, it took everything he had not to pounce on her then. She had been yelling at the younger Tashio about something he had done with a new product when Tony had come in for a meeting. Sessho merely stated that that was their relationship and that's why their engagement never got anywhere.

After that Tony found out everything he could about the woman, he learned about her ailments in middle school and how completely surpassed everyone's expectations when she graduated high school and college with honors before working for Sessho and getting her Doctorates in both Japanese history and Psychology. All in all it seemed she was a force to be reckoned with no matter the topic of conversation.

To be honest a year after their first meeting he had all but given up on standing a chance with her when she and Sessho showed up to one of his benefit galas. So you could imagine his surprise when she asked him where his date was and when receiving the answer that he didn't have one she asked if he would accompany her that night.

From there on out he would be her escort to any public events and she would be his. When he asked her why that was she just smiled at him and told him that he wasn't like all of the other boring people there and she liked that about him. So eventually they went from being each other's dates to public events to just being each other's dates. After a year of that Tony was called in for a short notice meeting with Sessho Tashio, Sessho further surprises Tony with the information for a company merger. Sessho explains that in their culture with a marriage of two companies owners the companies tend to merge for the benefit of both parties. And that with her being a sister to him it only makes since that they should merge when they get married. Therefore Tony took that as finally receiving Sessho's blessing to ask her to marry him.

Two months later, Tony finally got down on one knee and popped the question. Ten months later, exactly three years from their first meeting, they tied the knot in a traditional Japanese wedding ceremony.

Now they've been married for six years with two beautiful children, a boy who's five and a little girls who's two. And every day he has gone to bed thankful to the woman who gave him a chance and gave him all the happiness in his life.
