Most commonly people have one of two types of attachment style: one that avoids emotions (and issues) and one that preoccupies themselves with how the world sees them.

"Guys, this is serious. Kurt and his tyranny needs to be stopped." Blaine was beyond livid. Of course, it wasn't enough for Kurt to destroy his chances with Ronan. No, now he also targeted his family. That was inacceptable.

His three best friends looked at him in confusion. "Blaine, my dude. We still don't know what you are talking about", Sam pointed out. "Would you mind explaining us everything?"

Blaine took a deep breath to calm down again, especially because the others were now looking more worried than confused. "Kurt crossed another line and needs to be stopped before he can seriously harm us all."

Flashback

When Blaine came home today, he could already hear his mom sob from her atelier. Worried, he threw his bag onto the couch and hurried to the other room. He gasped for air.

Pamela Anderson was such a gifted artist. Her drawings had already won a lot of prizes, some of her works had been exhibited at museums or fairs. Blaine knew exactly that she put her heart and soul into every piece she drew – that's why his stomach sank when he spotted the destroyed drawings on the floor.

"Mom… what happened?", he wanted to know.

She turned around and smiled at him sadly. "When I came home, I found this mess. Someone must have destroyed my paintings." That was underrated. Someone had massacred the floral still lives she had worked on for weeks - repeatedly. The atelier resembled a murder scene. "I feel like someone just killed my babies", she sobbed.

He pulled her into a hug. "I'm so sorry, mom…", he muttered. "Do you have any idea who it could have been? Do you have any enemies, or something?"

His mother shrugged helplessly. "Baby, we just moved to Lima, nobody knows us here", she pointed out.

"We need to press charges", Blaine started ranting while he picked up the destroyed canvas. "Whoever it was, they cannot get away with that. They-" Suddenly, a weird sensation cursed through his body, and he needed to hold on to the table next to him.

Pam threw him a worried glance. "Are you okay, baby?"

"Yes, I'm fine, mom…", he answered quickly. In reality, he was not fine at all. He was freaking out internally. When he just touched the canvas, he … felt something. He suddenly was aware of Kurt's presence – or rather his past presence. He could feel that Kurt had been here just a couple of hours ago. Only now that he thought about it, he hadn't seen Kurt during lunch break.

Oh god…so that meant that Kurt had vandalized his mom's pictures, only to get back at Blaine? Yes, Blaine knew that he should be freaked out his newfound powers got stronger and that he was now able to sense Kurt's presence, but he was way madder because Kurt dared to get his innocent mother involved in their feud.

At that moment, Pam sobbed into her hands, and that was the moment Blaine had enough. That was the moment he decided to step it up a notch. Kurt was going to pay for making his mother cry, and if it was the last thing he would ever do.

Blaine took the permanent marker and wrote Take down Kurt Hummel onto the whiteboard in big letters, the title of his mindmap. "Alright, guys. I'm going to make sure Kurt goes down. He started manipulating mom's works, who's to say that he will stop there? Maybe, you - or your beloved ones - are next. That he has dangerous abilities now doesn't make it better."

His three closest friends exchanged worried glances. Good, now Blaine had them where he wanted them. "He's like a bomb that will explode soon, we need to defuse it. He caused us so much pain in the past year and it's time to stop it."

"And how exactly are you going to do that?", Tina asked him.

"I'm so glad you asked, Tina." Blaine grinned at her perfidiously. "Every wolf has a pack, right? With their pack, they are invincible, but alone? They are doomed."

Artie scratched his chin. "And what do you want to say by that?"

"We just need to make sure Kurt's friends cast him out of their exclusive clique, right?" Blaine circled Entourage on his mindmap. "And I also know, how."

Blaine knew exactly Kurt had cheerio practice from three to five, that was the only time window where he could sneak into the locker room and break open his locker. Thanks to his electromagnetic abilities, he could do so without leaving traces. To be honest, he started to like his abilities, apart from the linked-to-his-nemesis-part, of course.

Anyway, he opened the locker and let Sam retrieve Kurt's phone. Why he didn't take the phone himself? Well, after Blaine had that creepy experience after he had touched the canvas, he figured Kurt might be able to find out what they are up to if Blaine touched his phone and Kurt was able to sense it, too. Their powers were starting to freak Blaine out, but he forced his panic away. After he had closed the locker again, he and Sam quickly hurried over to another classroom where Artie was already waiting for him with his laptop. They quickly plugged in Kurt's phone so that Artie could try to hack into it.

"Do you really think Kurt stores all of his secrets in his phone?", Artie asked him skeptically.

Blaine nodded. "Of course, he does. Every teenager does."

Since Artie was a pretty experienced hacker, it didn't take him long to get into Kurt's phone. They browsed through his songs (99% Lady Gaga songs, ugh), selfies of millions of outfits, and selfies of his boyfriend Adam.

"Wait", Blaine suddenly said "Go to his WhatsApp. I'm sure he has secret chats."

"Okay…?" Artie still did as he said and scrolled over to the WhatsApp messenger. The chat with Finn was the most recent one, with Kurt reminding him to buy bananas and cheese for their parents. Artie scrolled up and up … until they found something interesting.

"Finn's browsing history", Blaine beamed. "That's a goldmine. Artie, make a screenshot."

"And done." Artie saved it in a folder and looked at Blaine expectantly. "Now what?"

"We need to browse the other chats until we found incriminating evidence", Blaine said wisely. "Not only from Finn. Keep searching, my friend." Blaine rubbed his hands evilly. This was so great. He would make sure Kurt would suffer for what he had done to him, his friends, and his mom.

Sam side eyed him worriedly. "You're scaring me with you attitude, man. Make sure you don't turn into the villain of the story."

At that, Blaine laughed shortly. "Me, the villain? Come on, Sam. Have trust in me."

The next day, Finn's browsing history was plastered all over the hallways of McKinley. Blaine was smirking widely when he went past the jocks that were about to rip on Finn. The quarterback looked down the ground, visibly not pleased about what had happened. Even though he was slushied one second later, Blaine couldn't care less. Their plan was working, that was what mattered to him.

During lunch break, he heard how Quinn and Santana were screaming at a very confused Kurt, probably because Blaine and his friends might or might not have sent a couple of their very private texts to the majority of McKinley's students.

Right after lunch break, Blaine watched from the corner of his eye how Puck talked to Kurt in private, a scowl on his face. Whether Blaine was to blame that everyone in McKinley now knew that the most badass jock of the school still slept with a nightlamp, a secret only Kurt knew? Totally.

Mike was crying in the boys' toilets because someone (yes, Blaine) told Mr Chang that his son didn't want to be a doctor, but a professional dancer, something Michael had told Kurt under the rose. This afternoon, Mike's dad gave his son a good talking, telling him that he would never, under no circumstances, support his son if he took that path. Kurt looked so confused when Mike told him how disappointed he was in him.

The cherry on top would be the fallout with Kurt's best friend Mercedes. Blaine honestly felt bad for harming her because she had always been nice to him, other than her cheerio friends, but sadly, her conflict with Kurt was inevitable for his plan. Blaine could only hurt him if Kurt lost the most important people in his life. Thanks to the texts Kurt had sent her, Blaine now knew that she was crushing on that guy Shane. But until now, Mercedes never had the guts to tell him, probably because she knew he didn't requite his feelings. Also, Mercedes had written a super kitschy poem about Shane she always kept in her locker, and of course, she would never give it to him. She texted Kurt to never tell anyone or else, she would, quote, die of shame.

Well, let's say someone broke open her locker and slipped said poem into Shane's locker, with a lovely note that said Kurt's name. Shane, being the most inconsiderate jock of McKinley, took the poem and read it out loud to his buddies that cracked up. Mercedes was standing in front of them, stunned.

"I'm sorry, McKenna, but I don't date girls like you. No offence", Shane chuckled, his bros slapped him on the shoulder and laughed louder.

Mercedes stormed away with tears running down her face. When she found Kurt, she slapped him hard across the face.

"Ouch! What the hell?", he hissed irritatedly while he rubbed his rubbing cheek.

"What were you thinking?", she screamed at him, seething. "I told you not to tell Shane about my poem, but you just gave it to him!"

"Mercedes, I swear to God, I never did such a thing!"

"Of course not. So the only person that knew about that poem and also knows the combination of my locker didn't tell Shane about my feelings for him? You told me just a couple of days ago I should confess him how I feel!"

"But…"

She brushed the tears from her face. "We have been best friends since preschool, white boy. But now, I don't even know who you are anymore. I turned a blind eye when you started bullying all those nerds. I supported you when you started that immoral con artistry." She threw him a hostile glance. "But that beats everything. I never would have thought you would attack me of all people."

"Mercedes…"

"I'm through with you, Kurt! I never want to see you again." With these words, she turned on her heel and left.

Kurt stayed back, wondering what the hell just happened.

And Blaine in the back was smirking widely. Well, until Kurt suddenly looked up, turned around, and headed to his direction. Right, he could probably sense Blaine's presence. Oh, here we go…

"That was you, right?!", Kurt barked, his scowl sent cold shivers up Blaine's spine. "You have something to do with all that!"

Blaine looked at him calmly, even if he was a little scared. "You have no proof. These were just coincidences."

Kurt angrily slammed both his palms on the locker behind Blaine so that he got him cornered. "If I were you, hobbit, I would be very careful. It was a big mistake to mess with me."

"As I already told you: I'm not afraid of you. You already lost your bite, so don't even try to intimidate me." Blaine had no idea where all the courage came from.

"You little-"

"Porcelain", Coach Sylvester's cold voice cut him off. "Let's have a word. You can continue your flirt with your beau later, alright?"

"He's not my – nevermind." Kurt was way too exhausted to discuss with her, so he just turned away from Blaine and followed the Cheerio coach. When they were out of earshot, his teacher's scowl deepened. "When exactly were you going to tell me that you suck as a student?"

"Ex-excuse me?" Kurt was confused.

Coach Sylvester rolled her eyes. "Your geography teacher told me about your grades – your bad grades."

"Coach, my last test was a C", Kurt pointed out confusedly. "My GPA is still above average…"

"But that's still not enough, porcelain", Coach Sylvester sighed. "My cheerios are the best of the best, period. You're not, so you're off the team."

Kurt's mouth dropped open. "You cannot be serious!", he croaked after he had found his voice again.

"I am, so get over it. Have a nice life, porcelain." In the next moment, she was gone.

He stayed back, perplexed. In the background, Blaine just couldn't help the grin on his face. Was he the one who told Coach Sylvester about Kurt's slipping grades? Hell, yes.

Flashback

"Apart from his friends, we need to take the second most important thing away from him", Blaine declared and wrote another word into the mindmap. "His reputation. And you know who is the most respected group at McKinley? The football players and the cheerios. As long as he is a cheerio, he is invincible."

"But if he is no cheerleader anymore – bam – his immunity is gone."

He circled the word Cheerio twice.

The next day at school, Kurt went down the hallways, all alone and out of his cheerio uniform, without the usual confidence in his steps. He had dark bags under his eyes and his chestnut hair didn't look as impeccable as it normally did. Looked like he didn't get much sleep last night – not that Blaine cared.

He had more important things to do now.

"Now that Kurt went down, we need to boost our reputation", Blaine said in the round.

"And how?", Sam questioned while he gnawed on his pencil "We are the uncool nerds."

Blaine pointed at him. "Sam, you have been on the football team at your old school. You have experience, you could join McKinley's team too. Artie, so can you."

Artie laughed bitterly at that. He cocked his eyebrows when Blaine didn't join his laughter. "Wait, that was no joke? You do have eyes, right? I'm a cripple!"

"So? Nowadays, a lot of guys in wheelchairs play sports. I'm sure you will rock it."

Artie just shrugged. "It's worth a try, I guess…"

Then, Blaine turned to Tina. "Now that Kurt is off the team, Coach Sylvester needs a replacement for him. I used to do gymnastics in middle school, I would be perfect for that part. And I'm pretty sure I can convince her to take you too, Tina."

Tina's eyes lit up. "You think so? Gosh, that would be so awesome!" She clapped her hands excitedly. "The four of us would actually be popular! That's a dream come true."

A lot of bribing and sweet talking later, Blaine and Tina were the newest addition of the cheerios (only because Coach Sylvester was hooked to have gay and Asian tokens for her team, but Blaine couldn't care less), and Sam and Artie actually made the team after Azimio broke his leg. When they went down the hallways, he and Tina in their cheerio uniforms, and Sam and Artie in their letterman jackets, Blaine felt so proud of themselves. After years of getting bullied and humiliated, they were finally on top of the foodchain. The jocks that usually slushied him had actually given him high-fives instead! Kurt, on the other hand, had just gotten a slushie facial. Some small part of Blaine felt sorry for him, but the bigger part of him shouted back that Kurt brought this on himself.

Blaine put his arms around his three friends. "Guys", he said proudly. "A new era is about to start at McKinley."
