It had been a relatively quiet day in the mansion, well as quiet as it could be with both Scott and Logan under one roof. Afternoon free time had just started so all the students were mingling and hanging out, when a knock was heard at the door.

Scott and Jean open the door to reveal a mid-twenty's Asian woman, with long blue black hair and an athletic build.

"Hi," Jean starts, "Can I help you with something?"

"Yes, please, I'm here to see Charlies." she smiles, "And no he's not expecting me, it's a surprise."

"Of course. May I ask what your business with Professor Xavier is?" Jean smiles back as they lead the woman in.

"You may ask but I'm afraid it's personal."

"That's completely understandable." seeing the woman looking around, "Have you been here before or is this your first time in the school."

"Oh, no, I've been here before but it was a long time ago." a sad look crosses her face before she turns back to the couple, "I'm Kagome by the way."

Shaking hands the couple smiles, "I'm Jean and this is my fiancée Scott, we're teachers here."

Kagome smiles, "I know, I've heard a lot about you both."

Jean and Scott look at each other before looking back to Kagome, "Well this is his office."

Scott steps forward and knocks, hearing an "enter" they open the door.

Charlies is behind his desk and Logan in standing in front, both look over at the door.

"You have a visitor Professor."

Kagome comes out from around the other two and starts walking in the room.

Charlies smiles as he starts steering himself to her, "Kagome what are you doing here?"

"I wanted to surprise you. I haven't seen you or the school in ages so I wanted to come out and check on you." she reaches her hand out to take his as she leans down to place a kiss on his cheek. "I've missed you."

The other three sets of eyes in the room all go confused.

"I'm missed you as well my dear. I see you've already met Professors Jean and Scott. And this is Logan."

Both reach out to shake hands before Logan speaks up, "And who are you exactly?"

"I'm Kagome. Kagome Xavier." all eyes go to her.

Charles clears his throat, "Kagome is my wife."

Okay so I know it's short and sweet but I'm trying to get the juices flowing for more in this and all of the others. Let me know what you think. RR&R
