I'm just a failure…

Side note this will not be following the MCU for "Civil War" it will be following however the chapter plays out.

After two weeks of what felt like all-out war and three days of questioning Director Fury assumed things would go back to relative peace until he figured out what to do with The Avengers and coincidentally The Winter Soldier. The S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters had finally gotten back to running smoothly, or at least it had until she got there.

"Director Fury, Sir," Agent Hill slowly steps forward, "there's a commotion going on at the front desk and they are asking for your assistance."

"What kind of commotion?"

"A woman Sir," She steps forward again to hand Fury a tablet showing the security footage from the front desk, "She is demanding to speak to someone about The Winter Soldier."

He looks at the screen briefly before going back to his reports, "So tell her he isn't here and have security escort her out."

"They tried that Sir, no one can get within arm's reach of her and she's demanding to speak with someone or she's refusing to move."

His eye locks back onto the security feed, "What do you mean "no one can get within arm's reach" she's not moving."

"No she's not Sir, but there seems to be a barrier around her person preventing any one from touching her."

Taking a moment to think he presses an intercom button on his desk, "Agent Romanoff can you come here please." He looks back up at Agent Hill, "Get the team together in the conference room, I want to know how she knows he's here."

Agent Hill nods her head and turns to leave, going out the door as Natasha comes in.

"You asked to see me Director."

Standing he hands over the tablet, "Get the woman at the front desk and bring her to the conference room."

Natasha looks down at the security feed before nodding and walking out. Once at the front desk she takes in the tension in the air and the two armed security officers standing on either side of, but no were near the angry looking woman. She makes eye contact with both guards before looking at the woman.

Locking eyes she states "Follow me." Before turning back towards the elevator. She presses the button as she feels the woman walking up behind her.

"Are you taking me to The Winter Soldier?" the woman asks as she enters the elevator after Natasha.

"No, I'm taking you to the Director, he'll decide from there."

The woman nods in understanding before crossing her arms and looking up at the elevator numbers. Once it stops the elevator dings as the doors open and Natasha begins leading down a hallway towards the conference room. All voices stop as they enter the room.

Taking a look around the woman locks eyes on Director Fury, "Am I correct to assume that you are the director in charge?"

The team members look at each other as he answers, "I am."

"Good. I want to see The Winter Soldier and I know he's here so don't try lying to me."

Fury raises a brow and a hand to stop the team's whispers, "And if I were to say that you can't see him."

"I would ask again."

"How do you know about him?"

She rolls her eyes, "I've known him for a long time, and I say again, I want to see him."

"I have a few questions first."

"No." she crosses her arms and looks everyone in the room over again, "I see him first, then you may ask all the questions you want."

"As the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D and acting warden of The Winter Soldier I demand that you answer the questions first before you yourself are taken into custody."

She scoffs, "I don't care what you threaten to do to me I will be seeing him first."

Before Fury has a chance to comment back Steve beats him to it, "With all due respect ma'am, who are you and how do you even know about Bucky?"

She looks over at him and gives him a light smile, "My name is Kagome and I'm his wife."
