I'm back again and trying to get back in the flow of things, thank you for being so patient.

I still own nothing.

A week had passed since they had discussed the invitation and Wally was not one to let that slide. Walking into the medical room he smiles seeing her wiping the table down, "So have you talked to him yet?"

Jumping slightly she turns and shrugs, "No, not yet, he was out on patrol when I got in and they got called out on a mission right after but they should be arriving back at any time." The bell signifying the main doors opening went off, "That should be them now," she smiles and grabs her clipboard before making her way for the door, "shall we."

Wally smirks, "Absolutely, after you." letting her lead the way he takes the time to appreciate the way her skirt hugs her curves.

Walking into the main computer room Kagome takes in both Superman's slightly disheveled appearance and Batman's ashy suit.

"Are you both alright," striding closer to the two, "do you need me to look you over?"

Superman scoffs, "He could have killed me. He carries kryptonite around."

"Yes," Kagome looks at him in confusion, "in a lead lined pocket of his belt so as not to affect you."

"So you knew?"

Batman narrows his eyes, "Of course she knew, how do you think she knew about your reaction."

"Did it harm you?"

"No, it didn't harm him, he's just being a child about it."

"Oh, you're carrying around what could be a weapon against me and I'm being a child, how is this supposed to build trust within the team."

"Okay," she cuts in before Batman can say anything in response, "enough the both of you. Now Superman go to exam room one and Batman go to exam room three, and I don't care if you say you're fine based on the damage to your suit I want to look you over anyway. Now go. I will be with you both in a moment." Seeing them both turn to go she looks back at Wally, "Are you going to wait in the gym or my office?"

"Your office and let me know when you talk to the bat."

Smiling she shakes her head before walking to exam room one, five minutes and two conformations about the stability of the kryptonite pocket, she moves on to exam room three.

"So, what happened?"

Batman shrugs, "It's all superficial damage done to the suit, I'm fine."

"Yes well, as team medic that's my call to make. Take off the top of your suit please." He mumbles but complies while keeping his cowl in place. "Thank you." Kagome steps around examining his back for any new traces of injuries before coming to his front and doing the same. Sliding her hands down his arms testing for any pulls or tears she continues to look him over before finally giving a nod. "Okay you were right but I always want to check and be sure when any of you come back disheveled."

Batman nods and begins putting his suit back on, "Bru..Batman I was wondering if I might have a word with you. Well if Wally and I might have a word with you."

He turns back to look at her with an eyebrow clearly up under his cowl.

"You can say no, if you want." Kagome puts her hands up in a non-startling gesture, "Wally, Flash, is in my office now if you don't mind."

"Has there been a problem? Do you need money?"

"What. No, there's no problem and I'm paid more than enough for everything here. It's nothing like that."

"Do you need time off then?" he looks her over, "Are you expecting?"

"No." she almost shouts in surprise, "No. No. No, it's not anything like that." She looks down at her feet suddenly nervous, "We actually, we were wondering if you would be interested in, um, interested in joining us, um Wally and I." she looks up just enough to see him seemingly frozen. "Um, it's just that you're the only one who even really knows about anything between us and it's not like, um, it's not like you don't know how to keep things quiet. I mean out of all of the team you're the only one who still has a secret identity. And you have some rather high levels of pent up energy and emotion, so you would be getting a healthy release from it that way." she looks up at him again, "I honestly wish you would take you cowl off for this so I could at least see your face. Look this is stupid just forget I said anything, I'll tell Wally no, just please pretend like this didn't happen."

After what felt like forever he finally turned to fully face her, "It couldn't be in Gotham."

Kagome gets a confused look, "Of course it couldn't be in Gotham you have to much of a reputation there. It would be in Central City where Wally and I live."

"And not in the tower."

"Yeah that's not happening either, no matter how much Wally begs, this is where we work so it's common public ground. Nothing changes here. No one has to know about whatever happens outside of work." She bites her lip, "So will you consider it? Again, we're not trying to force you into anything and it can end whenever you like."

"So that's it, it's really just about sex."

"Yes. Well it's Wally so it's sex and food, but yes, there are no strings involving you. It can stop at any time."

"I'll swing by your place tonight at nine." He turns and leaves the room before anything else can be said.

"Wait. Seriously that's it. Oh my god… Oh My God he actually accepted. I need to tell Wally."

I'm trying to be better guys so his is a little something for putting up with me. ?
