They've known each other for years now after having met in a counseling group. He had been in a downward spiral when she took him by the hand and helped him manage the pain. She had been through what he was going through so she used herself as an example of how things could change.
Guiding him through the ups and saving him from drowning in the downs they became vital figures in each others lives. He didn't tell her about his past right away, just answered things a vaguely as he could. At least until she met the others.
They had been at his place talking when the other Robins decided to check on him. Imagine their surprise that he was up and he had a girl over.
After a few hours of questions and games she left for the evening with the promise to see him tomorrow. The other Robins practically pounced him to get information about her. Finally breaking down he told them what they wanted to know and ended up realizing what all she meant to him.
Since that day you rarely find one without the other close by. She moved in with him and takes care of him as he does the same for her.
He is her Tim and she is his Kagome.
