Life is still a mess and as always I still own nothing.

Sam Wilson- Falcon

I unfortunately still haven't seen the new series, so this is taking place after Civil War and I can continue or something after watching the newer ones.

He had noticed her when she walked into the club with her friends and continued to notice her throughout the night. But when he found himself looking for her and not seeing her with her group he took a more active look around. He found her in the hallway leading to the bathrooms being hassled by some random guy that was very clearly not taking no for an answer.

He walks up behind the guy, "Hey babe, I've been looking for you" he makes eye contact with her then the man, "Is this guy bothering you?"

The guy backs up waiving his hands, "What, no, I was just asking her if I could get her a drink."

He steps closer to her, setting one hand against her lower back and putting more space away from the guy. Without really thinking he hands her his whiskey glass, "I already got her drink covered while I was waiting," he smiles, "But you can get me a drink if you want so badly to buy one."

The guy's eyes go wide, "I mean, yeah, I could get you one." He turns to walk back to the bar.

"I'll take a cosmo." He smiles and turns back to face the woman. "Sorry about that, I didn't know if you needed help but I figured it wouldn't hurt if you did."

She sighs with a shrug, "Yeah, it's definitely easier to block with someone saying they're your boyfriend verses just saying that you have one."

"I didn't mean to offend you if you do have a boyfriend I was just offering my services."

She raises his glass to her lips, "I don't, I just didn't want him to know that" she smirks and reaches out her hand, "I'm Kagome, by the way, unless you want to stick with the pet names."

"I'm Sam," he shakes her hand, "and I'll only keep the pet names if you prefer it. Otherwise Kagome is a beautiful name."

She blushes slightly and shakes her head, "Well, I don't think he's coming back with your cosmo so I'll buy you a drink for rescuing me."

"I appreciate that but you really don't need to, my mother always taught me to stand up for others", he makes eye contact and smiles, "And that men should always buy drinks for beautiful women."

Kagome smiles and gives a slight shrug, "That may be true, but technically you already bought me one." She gestures to the whiskey glass in her hand, "And honestly, I have to tell you." Pausing to give him time to think about what she could want to tell him, she smiles wider, "You have fantastic taste in whiskey so I really think that a cosmo would be a downgrade for you."

She starts laughing and he couldn't help but do the same.

"You may be right, but part of me really just wanted to see him order and walk around with a cosmo."

She chuckles again, "But what about when he gives it to you? What then?"

He shrugs, "Then I would drink it, I'm comfortable enough with myself to not care about how anyone else would judge me. And besides it's just a drink and if none have killed me yet that won't either."

"That's a good way to look at it." she sits down at one of the stools at the bar and flags down the bartender ordering them another round."

"Not that I'm complaining, because I'm definitely not, but shouldn't you be going back to your friends?"

They both look over to where her group is dancing. "I could but honestly I would much rather hang out here for a while," she looks back over to the group again, "Plus if I go back and they notice you they would stop at almost nothing to make sure that I go home with you."

"They would really do that?"

Kagome sighs again, "Yes, I don't know if you can tell or not but apparently I am,"she puts her hand to her chest and raises her voice, "desperately in need of a good lay." She rolls her eyes. "They've been telling me so for weeks and dragging me out every weekend since. Sorry, I didn't mean to be so forthcoming with you. It's just that they do this then all scatter to the wind with randoms and then come back and tell me that I just need to loosen up. I'm over it and the fact that I just end up alone at the end of the night anyway."

"Why do you keep doing it then? Why keep coming out and trying? There are plenty of men in here that would gladly take you home. Why haven't you taken the chance?"

"Would you?"

He furrows his brows confused, "Would I take the chance or would I take you home?"

"Would you take me home? I never took the chance on anyone because they are all the same. You are the only one to be any different."

"Are you actually asking me if I would or are you just trying to somehow prove a point?"

She looks at her drink and back to Sam, "I'm actually asking." She gives a slight look of panic and looks back down, "although I'm not trying to pressure you or anything."

Leaning closer he softly turn her face to make eye contact again, "May I kiss you?"

Kagome holds eye contact and nods her head. Sam leans forward and presses his lips to hers softly, then with a little more pressure before pulling back to make eye contact again.

He smiles, "Do you need to tell your friends first or do you just want to get out of here?"

Smiling back she leans forward and wraps her arms around his neck kissing him again, "Let's get out of here.

Pulling her closer and off the bar stool he brings an arm up to tuck her under his shoulder as he leads her out of the club and to his place to make what was already a long night longer.

Longer but also more fun.

Little do either of them know that they will never have a short or boring night again.

It's not much but I'm still trying. Let me know what you think and what else you want to see. More like this or more spice? I try to do a healthy bit of both but it's always nice to hear from you.

As always R, R, & R and TTYL :)
