Welcome to "Sour", a One-Shot collection dedicated to one of my two favorite rarepairs!

I've been toying with the idea for quite some time. And now, I've finally decided to just get down to it...hooray!

So, what can you expect? Well, most definitely no regular updates...that's for sure. But for real, this is really just meant to be a place where I can collect all the writing I have (and will do) for these two. When it comes to ideas...I seem to never run out (however bringing those to paper and more importantly, finishing them is a different story). They'll have varying lengths and varying quality (because sometimes I just get more experimental).

I will specify with each chapter what 'verse' it takes place in. And to clear any confusion beforehand: when I state that the story takes place in "SnKimiko-Verse", then that means the one shot takes place in the same verse that my overall biggest proect in the fandom (a Next Gen fanfic titled "Shokugeki no Kimiko") takes place in. That verse accounts for everything that happened in the manga up until Chapter 262 of the manga [that's the chapter where the Rebels snatch victory at the RDC], however it disregards everything after said chapter [basically, no Erina becoming headmistress, no Noir chefs, no BLUE arc, no Les Dessert...yadda, yadda]. There's likely also gonna be AU-stories (because I love AUs), in which case...I'll just name the AU in the 'verse'-section.

Also, just to be safe, I want to note that: I'm very well-aware that this ship ain't going to be everyone's cup of tea. And that's perfectly fine! You might want to see the title as emblematic of that: Not everyone is into sour tastes after all. However, I personally love sour a lot (I got the nickname of "lemon lady" once, because of how I seemingly love everything and anything that has lemon in it dhfhgf).

I don't mind the fact that other's have different tastes. It's basic human nature and there's a beauty to that. However, something I don't like is having certain things be imposed on me, as it feels stifling to my creativity. Fortunately it didn't happen all too often yet, but...a few bad experiences can really stand out. So yeah, all I really want to say is: It's perfectly fine if you don't vibe with this ship. But you don't have to make me aware of that in the reviews.

Alright, with that out of the way, I hope whoever might stumble on this and finds themselves interested is going to have a good time!

Nene knew that the indeterminable thing she had going on with Etsuya Eizan came one step closer to a definition when he entered the bedroom with his hair freed of all the usual gel.

Seeing that dirty blonde hair not swept back but standing to all sides, messy and unrestrained, let something gleam in her heart. A feeling of intimacy.

She knew that sight was not meant for most eyes, what surprised her was how happy it made her.

Nene felt an excited tingle wander over her skin and to her own shock she sensed the end of her mouth twitching, in an urge to smile.

Etsuya's expression in return had a hint of sheepishness in it and it only became all the more obvious when he caught Nene's stare.

"There's...a reason I gel them, okay?!" He tried to say as firmly as possible.

Nene blinked, startled out of her fascination.

At first she did not reply but when he sat down into bed next to her, she allowed to give in to impulse and lift her hand and gently run it through his unkept hair.

"I don't think it looks bad." She said in her usual plain manner, finally allowing the small smile to grace her lips when he glanced at her, with an raised eyebrow. "But I can't say that I don't like being the only one who gets to see this."
