Notes

Hey Reader, this is Worseman here, and here's part one of the fourth chapter of this story

My writing skill was still weak from the last time so I tried my best to write this chapter interesting even though my grammar admittedly sucks. I might have to possibly rewrite this chapter in the future.

You need to bear with the torturing of my bad grammar.

For those who are new to this story, this story is an AU (Alternative Universe) story and Mahoka's story arcs are remained to be the same but with a little or more changes. I also incorporated the novel, main and spin-off manga, and anime versions into the one in this story.

Disclaimer

I did not own any characters from Mahoka Kouko no Rettousei series except my OC.

The street was usually the same as always in the early morning; noisy, swarming of people and vehicles, and a sun rising from the below. Unless there was something either awful or fine happening in the morning, it was still always the same. Daisuke felt a little zestful despite his both clerk and private detective jobs. He should be exhausted and strained by two occupations and his face should be gloomy but he was not. This was because he usually did his many part-time jobs in the past before applying to Gruidae Agency. As he was walking, he heard a female voice called his name.

"Daisuke-San!"

Daisuke turned his head around to see Honoka and Shizuku walking towards him.

"Hey," Daisuke greeted them with his smile, waving his hand at them.

"You looked cheerful today, Daisuke-San. Something good happened to you yesterday or just now?" Asked Honoka.

"Not sure, but maybe I remember my childhood memory or I just feel refreshed from waking up," Daisuke replied with a shrug, "Anyway, how are you since I helped you with the question that you're clueless in as you were distracted last week, am I right?"

Honoka laughed a little but she looked away with her embarrassed look from Daisuke's correct assumption while Shizuku sighed at her with a bit of amusement. Daisuke chuckled at Honoka's embarrassment as he found it funny but at the same time, he felt a little bad for making fun of her for being distracted in the classroom when their teacher was talking about the subject of magic theory. She should pay attention to the lesson rather than being distracted by something trivial like thinking about her crush. She turned her head back and asked.

"We're alright, Daisuke-San, and thank you for helping me," Honoka bowed down to thank Daisuke.

"I appreciated but that's no need to bow down to me," Daisuke replied, waving his hand a bit to stop Honoka bowing. He was uncomfortable with anyone like her bowing down to him with gratitude for a simple thing that he did for them but he tried to be polite towards them by not showing his uncomfortable side.

"By the way, do you want to walk together with us to school?" Honoka asked, offering to Daisuke.

"Sure, since I want to have a conversation with you two," Daisuke accepted Honoka's offer.

The trio began to walk together to the school while starting to have a conversation about their yesterday and today's routine but all of the sudden, they heard a loud screech of the tire. They stopped and looked around to find the source. As they were scanning around the area, they spotted it; a stopped truck, leaving its tire mark on the street and a person holding a boy under his arm. Seeing that the person was a male and dressed in the same school uniform as them, they could not get a close look at his face until Daisuke recognized him.

"Kaz?"

Both Honoka and Shizuku turned around and looked at Daisuke for saying Kazuhiro's alias name.

"You know him?"

"Yes, Honoka, I met him at the weekend when we were at work."

"You have a job on the weekend?"

"You could say that, but I honestly cannot reveal my work career to you and Shizuku-San because of the reason."

While Daisuke and Honoka were talking, Shizuku tried to take a close look at Kazuhiro again to see if he was him. She watched him put down the boy to the ground and the boy's mother rushed towards him to appreciate him. Kazuhiro stretched his arm and closed his mouth with his hand from yawning loudly while the boy's mother thanked him. He easily gave his identity away to her as he was Kazuhiro Tsuyoshi because of his attitude. However, she was also surprised that he saved the boy from being hit by an incoming truck even though she and her friends did not see him in action.

"Thank you for saving my son!"

"Mmhm."

Kazuhiro had a slice of toast bread in his mouth, biting to suspend it from dropping. He grabbed and tore it out with his hand. He chewed while turning his head around to see the stopped truck. He reluctantly expected the truck to crash into the lamp post and the police would arrive at the accident to take the report down from his explanation along with the mother and her child and the driver but he was glad that it did not happen. If it happened, it could ruin his day.

Kazuhiro turned his head back to face the mother and swallowed his chewed bread so that he could speak.

"Madam, it's not my place to tell you but try not to get your son out of sight," Kazuhiro advised the mother.

"Okay, and thank you again," the mother replied as she and her son bowed down to thank Kazuhiro.

Morning

Gruidae Agency, Yokohama, Tokyo

Genki typed down furiously on his laptop as if he remembered something that he hated to be reminded of something that he wanted to forget but in actuality, he got tons of paperwork and reports to finish. Masato entered the interior room with a cup of coffee to walk to his table and Sora laid on the couch, humming to sing while listening to his headphones. Kirka stood up with a couple of papers in her hand and walked to Genki to pass it to him. As she arrived, she called his name, "Genki-San."

Genki turned around to face Kirka after hearing his name called out and noticed Kirka who offered the papers in her hand to him. He sighed in tiredness and asked, pointing at it in her hand, "May I know what paper is, Kirka?"

"It is a copy of the paper that you requested for, Genki-San," Replied Kirka.

"Hmm, I almost completely forget about it. Thanks for reminding me, Kirka-San."

"You're welcome."

Genki grabbed the copy paper from Kirka and placed it on the top of the pile of papers. As Kirka walked away, Masato arrived at his table but noticed Genki who was typing down while being somehow swallowed by the pile of papers. He placed his coffee down on this table and grabbed the chair out of the under of the table. He sat and asked, "Do you need any help, Genki?"

"No, unless I need to, Masato," Genki denied Masato's help without looking at him as he was focusing on typing down.

"Jeez, you're becoming way beyond workaholics."

"I don't care what you're saying as long as I need to finish the paperwork because it's my job."

Masato grabbed his cup and moved it to his mouth to take a slip. As he placed it down, he continued the conversation with Genki.

"Anyway, I need your advice about…"

"No."

Masato was a little speechless that Genki quickly denied his question that was not finished yet.

"You didn't hear me finishing my question."

"You're going to ask my advice about asking the person who is both your crush and friend for the date," Sora explained, "So, no."

Masato was about to retort against Genki but signed in distress as his head hung down, indicating that Genk was right. He had a crush on his friend who was a woman for a long time since he was a police officer. He admitted to having zero experience to date his friend besides some dates that he went through before for the past couple of years. He knew Genki was going to turn down asking for his advice and he was not going to ask Sora for his advice because it could lead to a possible disaster on his end. He sighed again as he gave up asking for the dating advice and changed the topic in the conversation.

"So, what do you think of Daisuke? Is he still suitable as a Private Detective?" Masato asked Genki about his impression of Daisuke. He wanted to hear Genki's opinion on Daisuke who was an ancient magic user and his ability to summon familiar, which caught him off guard to see him summoning in action during smuggling operations. However, Daisuke's ancient magic has a downside which the familiar's duration was a minute.

"He is still incompetent despite showing his intelligence and self-defense but he at least capable of handling the dangerous situation on his own," Genki answered, "His magic, on the other hand; he was one of few rare ancient magicians who can able to summon their own familiar."

"I did see him manifesting his familiar with his magic in action the last two days where we broke into smuggling operations."

"He impressed me a little with the description of summoning his familiar, which is a white tiger, that you gave to me but I wondered what kind of ancient magic that he utilized."

"Maybe he is a BS magician but I could be wrong."

Born-Specialized Magician, also known as BS Ability User, was the magician exceeding in their main magic but the other magic that they cast would not be as good as them as other magicians despite being able to utilize it. It was impossible to replicate the same level of quality but if it properly matched their specialty, they often outperform generic "omnipotent" Magicians. However, they were viewed by society at a lower standard than that of ordinary Magicians.

"Either way, he could be our valued member of the agency but we have to wait and see where it goes."

"If you said so."

All of the sudden, Genk was lightly hit on the top of his head by none other than Sora whose arm was the cause of the hit and he leaned towards both him and Masato to ask.

"What are you two talking about? Are you talking about the girls that you both are interested in, advising on 'how to improve your flirting', your crush that you cannot impress, a stash of porn magazines that you hid somewhere in the office…"

As Sora continuously chatted about dirty topics loudly, Genki's closed eyes began to twitch and his teeth began to grit. His irritation built up to the max as his hand reached out to his laptop and gently closed it. His eyes suddenly opened in a second and it was filled with vexation as he had enough with Sora. He quickly stood up while grabbing Sora's arm to lift from the top of his head and moved to the right. He threw Sora down to the ground roughly with his full strength.

"Aaarrgghh!"

"Aaaahhh!"

Sora's body slammed onto the ground with a loud bang and his mind became dizzy due to being thrown with full force from Genki. Masato laughed nervously a little as he could not get used to it sometime but Kirka's voice was heard beside him.

"Heh, this office is always lively, isn't it?"

Masato turned his head around to look at Kirka who was smiling and returned to see the scene.

"Yeah, it is."

Morning

First High School, Hachioji, Tokyo

Kazuhiro yawned with his closed eyes and opened mouth, being covered with his hand to not be rude to his surroundings. He turned around to look outside of the window to see a couple of tents along with many students in their respective club uniforms were either trying to set up or being recruiters to somehow force non-club students to join. The recruitment area had become a battlefield as many clubs began to try to force or persuade as many students as they could. This would turn ugly at any place and any time.

Kazuhiro looked away from the window and began to scan around the classroom to see his few remaining classmates who were chatting among themselves or minding their own business by doing something. He felt bored that he had nothing to do so he decided to stand up from his hair and walked out of the door. While walking, he took out his headphones and hung their headband over his neck. He shoved his hand into his pocket and grabbed something inside. He took it out, revealed to be his phone, and grabbed the plug to insert into his phone. As he went out of his classroom to the hallway, he looked at his phone screen and tapped on the music icon. He then tapped again on the play button to play the music. He shoved his phone back into his pocket and began to walk.

While walking and listening to Jazz simultaneously, Kazuhiro tried to think of any area where few or none rarely walked so he could take a nap. However, he doubted that almost every area of the school was occupied by many recruiters of their clubs. He sighed in annoyance that he cannot take a peaceful nap but he could walk around to see and watch if it interested him.

[~~~~~]

While looking at his phone, Daisuke was processing his mind on reading through the most complicated explanation of topics that almost every classmate in his class had a tough time to process including Honoka. He thought that the first period of the lesson was going to be child's play for them but it turned into a mess as there was so much explanation that hurt their brain. He can understand it but he had to remember because the explanation had so many words.

Without looking, Daisuke turned around the corner and bumped into a student who was also walking. He dropped his phone from his hand but he successfully grabbed it before hitting the ground. He looked at the scattered papers across the ground and began to crouch down to help to pick it up.

"I'm so sorry."

"That's alright."

Daisuke stopped picking up the paper as he recognized a familiar female voice and looked up to see the beauty student with a long darker shade of blue hair and purple eyes. Their eyes made contact with each other and widened in surprise to recognize their faces. they called each other names.

"Daisuke?"

"Suzune?"

Both Daisuke and Suzune looked at each other in bewilderment and shock as if they never saw each other for a long time. They stared at each other for a moment but quickly snapped back to reality before being stared at by anyone around them who thought of the weird. Suzune crouched down to help Daisuke with picking her papers up from the floor and Daisuke continued where he left off. After picking the paper up. They both stood up to look at each other.

"It's been six years since we last met in our neighborhood street," Daisuke said, handing the paper out in his hand.

"Yes, it had," Suzune replied, grabbing the paper out of Daisuke's hand, "I never thought you would be here in First High as a first-year student."

"And I didn't know you would be here either."

"How have you been?"

"I'm doing okay such as spending some time with my granddad and studying some magic theory or whatever. How about you?"

"Same."

Daisuke has been friends with Suzune since he was an elementary school child before moving out of his old neighborhood. They both met each other through his parent's meeting with her parents when he visited their home. They both knew each other very well as if their bond was unbreakable even if they were separated from each other. He could catch up with time to talk with her, but seeing her holding a document paper, she must be busy doing some work. He decided to talk with her another time but she spoke out that shocked him.

"Daisuke, can you accompany me to the student council room?" Suzune asked, "While we're at it, we can talk to each other as we can to catch up where you were."

"Umm… Of course," Daisuke replied while trying to compose himself from his shock.

Daisuke jogged to catch up with Suzune who was already walking and as he reached her, he began to walk at her pace, His thought slowly turned into a mess when he tried to think of the question to ask. She, fortunately, asked him first before his mess became disarray.

"Where were you after moving out of your old neighborhood, Daisuke?"

"It's a long story, but I moved out to live with my granddad and it was honestly not a terrible place that I imagined before arriving and I met some people who seem to be nice."

"I'm glad that you're doing alright, but are you still..."

"No, I moved out again because my granddad passed away after I finished my final examination."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

Suzune did not expect Daisuke who just dropped a bomb with his grandfather's death. She wished to be there to comfort him if she knew about it but seeing him smile sadly does make her to be at fault for asking.

"Don't apologize, Suzune, he and I knew he was going to die soon once his remaining time was up," Daisuke dismissed Suzune's apology with a smile, "But thank you for worrying for me."

Feeling Dausuke's gratitude, Suzune was unsure whether she should continue to ask him for more information or change the topic to lighten the mood between them, but she did not know what she wanted to talk about besides studying and magic theories. Luckily, he asked her before she did.

"You seem to be busy at your schoolwork, Suzune, and I'm honestly not surprised that you might be one of the student council."

"You're right, but I'm also treasurer. Why not join the council?"

"It's a nice offering, but I declined because it's a heavy role that might put pressure on me."

"The offer is still standing to you until it's no more, Daisuke."

While their conversation was continuing, Daisuke and Suzune arrived at the outside of the student council room. They stopped at their track and she turned around to face him.

"It's a nice talk that lasted for long, Daisuke, but I had to return to work," Suzune said with a smile.

"Okay, I understand," Daisuke replied, smiling back.

"So, See you later or tomorrow."

Daisuke was glad that he was having a nice conversation with Suzune without disruption while watching her walk to the door to enter. However, He suddenly realized that he forgot to ask a simple question and cried out her name before her hand twisted the doorknob.

"Ah, wait!"

"Mhm?" Suzune turned his head around from the door to Daisuke and waited for him to ask her.

"If you have nothing to do including student council work anytime, can I ask you to hang out with me?"

"Of course."

"You're sure?"

Suzune nodded in reply to confirm Daisuke's question with a smile and immediately opened the door to enter when she turned her head back. As she walked into the room, she closed the door behind him. He smiled at her answer that he would decide to ask her to hang out with her anytime when she saw her. He was glad to meet her as a childhood friend.

[~~~~~]

Kazuhiro slid down the railing of the stairs and when he reached the end of the railing, he leaped off and landed on the ground but almost tripped over to fall. However, he steadied himself from falling and stood perfectly. He continued to walk around the club recruitment area to get away from the crowd while trying to avoid any recruiter he came across. The recruiters were either over persuaded or being forceful to the new students to join. Either way, he needed to avoid them at all cost but he knew the way to get away from them. He walked straight out of the walking path to the forest area for a shortcut.

As Kazuhiro was walking, he felt little tranquility from the surrounding of the forest despite the noise from the club recruiting other students. While slowing his pace of walking, he shut his eyes to listen to his jazz music. He thought back to his memories of his parents. He remembered every single detail such as their faces, attitude, and career jobs that he saw as a young kid. His mother was a kindergarten teacher who taught the children with happiness and caring and his father was a lawyer who followed the rule of the law in society. It was a pleasant, but yet calm that he ever had with his family until all was robbed away from him.

Having enough to recall back to his memories, Kazuhiro opened his eyes to see the exit out to the path. As he reached the exit, he walked through the brushes and out to the walking path but only came across the two familiar people that he saw on the second day: Tatsuya and Erika. They stared at him in bewilderment while Kazuhiro took off his headphone from his ears and hung it around his neck.

"Do you come out of the brushes?" Asked Erika.

"Shotcut and trying to avoid the recruiter," Kazuhiro answered, hoping Erika would get a glimpse of the answer. He noticed an armband on Tatsuya's right arm which said 'Public Morals Committee' and sighed in annoyance that he forgot about them being patrolling around the area to see any trouble coming up so that they would prevent it from happening. He looked at Tatsuya. "Am I in trouble that I'm not supposed to do?"

"No, you're not since coming out of the forest is not within the school rule so you're safe," Tatsuya shook his head.

"Anyway, Chiba Erika of Class 1E, Nice to meet you," Erika introduced herself, interrupting Kazuhiro and Tatsuya's conversation.

Kazuhiro turned around to face Erika and introduced himself to get Erika and Tatsuya to at least know his name. "Tsuyoshi Kazuhiro from class 1F but call me Kaz if you feel like calling me that name."

"Shiba Tatsuya, Class 1E," Tatsuya sighed, introducing himself to Kazuhiro despite Erika interrupting their conversation.

"So, do you want to come with us to look around the campus, Kaz-San?" Erika asked Kazuhiro with a cheerful tone.

Kazuhiro could decline Erika's offer of walking with her and Tatsuya around the campus for the clubs, but he could not. He sighed in weariness as he was seeing there were no other choices. it was better to be with them rather than being alone, going to get swarmed with the persistent recruiters in the foreseeable future, including her being presumably the oversocialized girl who would not go away if he declined until he accepted.

"Alright, I will go with you two since I had nothing better to do other than taking a nap or walking around alone," Kazuhiro replied, accepting Erika's offer.

"Geat, Let's go!"

A few minutes later

Two Kendo Members, equipped in kendōgu, clashed with each other with their Shinai. They demonstrated their kendo skills to interest the audience to join their club. Kazuhiro watched their skills with his dull look as it did not interest him even though he was watching to keep himself awake. While he was watching, his ears listened to the conversation between Tatsuya and Erika about martial art.

"Even though you seem like you have so much martial arts experience… ah, I know!"

"What?"

"Hey Tatsuya, you're assuming that all martial arts are combined with magic right? Not only martial arts but fighting spirits and things like that. You assume that magic is used to supplement the body when it moves around right?"

"Isn't it obvious? Muscle isn't the only thing that makes the body move."

"Well, for Tatsuya it may be obvious. But in normal competitions, that's not the case."

"I see."

"Putting that aside, why don't we just quietly watch the performance now?"

Erika raised her eyebrow at Tatsuya until her eyes saw Kazuhiro pointed his thumb to the right. When she followed his thumb, she saw that everyone was looking towards her. She let her nervous laugh out and became a quiet spectator. As the performance went on, the regular members began their full force in the practice round. However, during the performance, Kazuhiro recognized the second-year female student using her graceful skills to parry her opponent's attack.

'Mibu-San?'

After Mibu defeated her opponent theatrically and bowed her head, Tatsuya and Kazuhiro heard a snort from beside them.

"It seems like you didn't enjoy it," Tatsuya said when he turned around to face Erika.

"Huh? Well, yeah…" Erika replied as she did not realize that the statement was directed towards her so there was a slight pause in the answer. She then continued, "…It's so boring watching this though. She's fighting with an opponent that has a much lower skill level than her, so she's able to show off like that. Instead of a fight, it seems more like a rehearsal."

"You're really irrational, aren't you, Chiba-San?" Kazuhiro commented loudly at Erika's reply.

"What are you saying?" Erika asked Kazuhiro as she glared at him for being offensive towards her.

"This is not a 'fight to the death' situation," Kazuhiro answered, "They were only performing their skill to prompt their club, unlike the situation which does not involve the rule in the fight."

"Kazuhiro is right. There are always pro martial artists who do showy moves to demonstrate live combat, but you can't really show live combat to normal people. Live combat in martial arts is basically trying to kill one another," Tatsuya added his explanation, agreeing with Kazuhiro.

"…You're so cool-headed, aren't you."

"It's just a difference of opinion."

Kazuhiro decided not to irritate Erika furthermore to the point that she would pick the fight with him physically but not verbally such as her argument with Leo. She was more the type of angry person towards the people who use martial arts as a flashy show than what it was really supposed to be and finds those people dishonest. She needed to cool down even though he agreed with a little part of her explanation. As they were about to leave, they heard the commotion. They turned around to see two different clubs arguing: Kendo Club and Kenjutsu Club.

Curiosity, Erika looked at Tatsuya and grabbed his sleeves, and dragged him down to the middle of the commotion to see what was happening. When Kazuhiro was about to leave them both to the exits, he decided, at the last second, to follow them. As they pushed past the crowd, they arrived at the spot to see Mibu and a male member of Kenjutsu Club whom Kazuhiro also recognized him as well, confronting each other. He was right that the same second-year female student was indeed Mibu because her helmet was off and what he did not expect to see was that the male Kenjutsu Club member was someone that he also knew.

"Kirihara-Kun, there's still an hour left before Kenjutsu Club's is up," Mibu said, "Why can't you wait?"

"You disappoint me, Mibu. You can't possibly go all-out against those amateurs. I was trying to help you do just that." The male member, Kirihara, replied with a smirk.

"Says the one who's taunting us… "Helping" my ass!"

"Says the one who struck first."

"You're the one who provoked him into it!"

While the argument was continuing, Kazuhiro breathed out his weariness as he was already used to seeing the same argument all the time in his life. It would mostly lead to major trouble. His eyes moved to the right to see Tatsuya, who remained composed, ready to stop them if they used magic as Public Morals Committee Members, and Erika who was most excited to see them if they were going to fight.

"Seems like fun," Erika mumbled, "This is much more interesting than that little rehearsal that we just saw."

"Do you know those two?" Questioned Tatsuya.

"Well, I don't personally know them. I just remembered about the girl. Her name is Mibu Sayaka. The year before last, in the National Middle School Kendo Tournament, she placed second in the entire country. She was cheered by the media as the Beautiful Swordswomen for a while," Erika answered with an explanation of Mibu's identity.

"…But she placed second, right?"

"Well... the champion's looks were… you know."

"I see."

"The guy's name is Kirihara Takeaki. The year before last he placed 1st place in the Kanto Middle School Kenjutsu Tournament. A real champion."

"He didn't participate in the Nationals?"

"The Nationals for the Kenjutsu tournament only start from High school since there are much fewer competitors for that one."

'That's one massive piece of information that she gave us to know more about them even though I basically knew them as an acquaintance. That's no reason why she didn't know about it as she was one of the Chiba Family,' Kazuhiro thought, focusing on Mibu and Kirihara.

"Oh, looks like it's starting."

Both Mibu and Kirihara took their fighting stance to their position, facing each other with their drawn Shani. Mibu was hesitant in attacking Kirihara with no armor but since they had no intent backing down, they had no choice but to fight.

"Relax, Mibu, it's only a demonstration for the Kendo club. I won't use any magic on you," Kirihara told Mibu as he began his first move

"Do you think you can beat me with technique alone? You, Kirihara from the Kenjutsu club who heavily relies on magic, and me, from the Kendo club who relies on nothing but technique?" Mibu asked with a small hint of anger.

"You talk pretty big Mibu. I'll show you. The Kenjutsu technique is used to fight past body limitations!"

Kirihara lunged towards Mibu and swung his Shani towards her head but she countered his attack. As they were fighting, most of the students, who were on the ground level, were amazed by their technique and skills of their sword, but while others were confused as they could not tell what was going on. They could only listen as bamboo and bamboo hit one another, sounds so violent that they almost sounded metallic as if the intense fighting was taking place.

'Her skill level was that good, huh," Tatsuya complimented, impressed by Mibu's skill.

"No. She's like a different person than the girl I saw during middle school. In just two years, she improved that much," Erika said, hiding her surprised face.

As the fight grew intense, many spectacular's reactions were mixed; some were gasped while others took a breath. Kazuhiro ignored Erika and Tatsuya's conversation, debating the winner between either of Mibu or Kirihara. His eyes were still focusing on the fight but closed for a momentarily as the shout of Kirihara followed by the smack sound of the Shani. He opened his eyes to see that Mibu's Shani had touched his shoulder. She was clearly the winner.

"Even though the timing was perfect in both of them striking back at each other, midway through the sword's aim was changed. In the end, Kirihara-sempai couldn't bring himself to strike the head. He lost because he couldn't follow through completely," Tatsuya explained the result to Erika.

"Accept your defeat. If it was a real sword, you wouldn't be able to use that right anymore," Mibu told the defeated Kirihara.

Kirihara suddenly started to let his hollow laugh out as he recovered his stance and pointed his Shani and looked sharply at her.

"You wouldn't be able to put a scratch on my body. How about it, Mibu? Do you want to have a match with real swords? If that's the case, then let's have a match with real swords!"

As Kirihara activated his CAD, his Shani covered with a magic sequence, echoing a screeching sound throughout the room. The crowd of spectators cried in pain, covering their ears while some even kneeled with pale faces. He jumped forward and swung his shinai down. Mibu managed to dodge it by jumping back but at the cost, her chest plate was cut open by his Shani.

Seeing the fight break out, Kazuhiro turned around to Tatsuya and called, "Tatsuya-San."

"I know," Tatsuya acknowledged Kazuhiro's call.

"Well, Mibu. This is a real sword, and this is the difference between Kenjustsu and Kendo!" Kirihara shouted as he made his move.

As Kirihara was about to take another swing towards Mibu, Tatsuya jumped in front of him before activating his CADs on both arms while Erika shouted at them to stop. He shot his CAD an intricate web of Psion waves towards him, His magic sequence was immediately canceled, surprising him, "The spell's-?! Being canceled."

While Tatsuya managed to cancel Kirihara's spell, it also caused many spectators to cover their mouths because a symptom similar to motion sickness spread across the crowd.

"What's with this pulsating!?"

"Mph… I feel sick…"

Kazuhiro almost stumbled to the ground while preventing his mouth from gagging but he managed to stand still. He never felt that sick before because he was already used to motion sickness but not to this possible extent. Kirihara's shinai and Tatsuya's arm intersected, but there were not any sounds of the shinai hitting meat. The sound that came out was the sound of a body falling to the floor.

As the waves stopped, Erika recovered back to normal along with Kazuhiro and many students. She did not know what had just happened. "The pulsating stopped…"

After the spectators recovered from the sound and sickness, they were able to finally see what was going on. They saw Kirihara was being on the ground while Tatsuya was keeping him there, by holding his left wrist and using his knee to push down on his shoulder.

"How?" Erika mumbled as she was speechless, seeing the scene.

A commotion broke out of the spectators' silence, filling with hostility. Some were hostile towards Tatsuya about him being a course two student in the Disciplinary Committee with their words, stares, or both while the others simply gazed while holding their breath. Tatsuya coolly took out his communication device in his mobile terminal while holding Kirihara. His words echoed through the room, saying that he apprehends Kirihara and requested a stretcher for his injury.

Kazuhiro turned his head to see the whole Kenjutsu club were infuriated to see Tatsuya because he was a course two student and Kirihara was only apprehended but not Mibu. They began to shout at Tatsuya for it but he coolly waved them off. They became angry and tried to attack him with their fist, but he smoothly dodged their attack.

Witnessing the scene, Erika could not help herself but made a statement with her awe look, "Incredible… No one is able to stop Tatsuya-Kun."

"I admitted to agreeing with you on this one."

Erika turned around to see Kazuhiro being awestruck by witnessing the scene which was barely shown visible to her. He could not help himself but wanted to smile at it as he was impressed with Tatsuya's amazing abilities. He mentally reminded himself not to anger him at the wrong time. Otherwise, he would end up like the Kenjutsu Club.

While Tatsuya was dodging the Kenjutsu Club's attack, two members began to conjure their spell with their CAD in his direction.

"Magic? Tatsuya-Kun!" Erika called hastily after seeing their action.

Tatsuya looked at the members and shot his Psion waves at them, canceling their magic activation. After the fight, the whole Kenjutsu Clubs were either on the floor or barely stood to the ground, defeated. Kazuhiro chuckled that he suddenly remembered the thoughts that he had from witnessing the event on the first day and he was possibly right. It does not matter whether both his life and future would be impacted by Tatsuya or anyone because life was full of surprise sometimes.

"What are you chuckling at, Kaz-Kun?"

"Nothing, Erika."

Extra Notes

In my original plan, I made Mayumi and Daisuke a childhood friend but I changed it to Daisuke being a childhood friend with Suzune. I tried to make their relationship a bit dynamic but normal and I possibly might or might going to make them into a love interest to each other, However, I sucked at romance so I will try my best with writing,

Like I said at the beginning note, I might have to rewrite this chapter due to my rusty writing skill if it somehow does suit yourself or you're really either disappointed or hate this chapter or story.
