Notes
Hey Reader, this is Worseman here, and here's part two of the fourth chapter of this story
My writing skill is still once again lacking and I hoped that this chapter would be both readable and interesting. However, I might rewrite it because there is a fight scene in this chapter that I'm weak in although I tried my best.
If you spot any grammar errors or spelling in this story, I will try my best to improve my story.

Feeling a little drained, Kazuhiro wanted to go straight back home to sleep because he had to deal with many things that happen in a single day. However, he also felt a little dry in his throat for something to drink besides plain water. He cannot go to a cafe which was located near the Gruidae Agency Building because it took an hour to reach there by both transportation and on foot. He decided to find any drinks to drink unless there was nothing so he could go straight back home.
As Kazuhiro scanned around the street while walking, he suddenly stopped and turned his head around to see a cafe beside him. He shrugged that he could grab a non-caffeine drink to relax. He walked to the cafe's door and reached his hand out to the handle but a familiar voice stopped him from opening it.
"Kazuhiro?"
Kazuhiro turned his head around to see the surprised Daisuke. He released his hand from the handle and turned his whole body around to face him.
"Stressful?"
Daisuke nodded, "Yes, but What about you, Kazuhiro?"
"Same as you."
"Understandable, but what about we both go in to have a short conversation while enjoying some drinks?" Daisuke acknowledged and later suggested it to Kazuhiro.
"Sure," Kazuhiro agreed with Daisuke's suggestion.
Both Kazuhiro and Daisuke agreed to have a nice and relaxing break together in the cafe. Kazuhiro turned back to the door and grabbed the handle to push it forward. As the door opened, it hit the bell to ring the barista's ear to hear the new customer. Both stepped inside and were greeted by the barista.
"Good evening."
Kazuhiro and Daisuke suddenly stopped at their track to see an unexpected group at the further part of the cafe. They saw Tatsuya, Miyuki, Erika, Leo, and the glasses girl who appeared to be their friend. They were all looking with their own little surprised and curious faces at them. Everyone except the barista stared at each other, being silent. Kazuhiro sighed out to break the silence and mumbled, "You gotta be kidding me."
[~~~~~]
"I didn't expect that you, of all the people, are here with your new friend," Erika said, looking at Kazuhiro and Daisuke.
Kazuhiro sat beside Miyuki and Tatsuya while Daisuke was also sitting beside the rest of them as their positions faced each other. They already ordered their drinks before the conversation between them continued. Daisuke was a little awkward in the group because of Miyuki. He was clueless to agree to join them along with Kazuhiro when Miyuki unexpectedly asked them. He hoped for Kazuhiro to assist him but he was too busy, drinking his milkshake. He was honestly afraid of her as he pondered that he could be in trouble for gazing at her for a long time during the lesson as if he was mistakenly a stalker.
"Are you alright?" Miyuki asked with her concerned look, "You seemed to have something in your mind, wanting to speak out."
Daisuke snapped out of Miyuki's question and quickly replied, "No, Shiba-San, I'm just too tired from school. You know, recruitment day."
"Understandable, but you can call me Miyuki as you might get me and my brother confused by our last name."
"Okay, Miyuki-San."
While Daisuke was talking with Miyuki normally, Kazuhiro was drinking his milkshake through the straw. While he was drinking, a female voice called to him, "Umm, you must be Kaz that Erika told me about."
Kazuhiro put his cup down on the table to look at the person who called him, revealed to be the glasses girl.
"Yes, that's me. Tsuyoshi Kazuhiro from Class 1F," Kazuhiro confirmed the glasses girl and later introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you, Kazuhiro-Kun, my name is Shibata Mizuki," The glasses girl, Mizuki, introduced herself to Kazuhiro.
"Call me Leo," Leo also introduced himself to Kazuhiro too.
"Nice to meet you both," Kazuhiro greeted as he continued to drink his milkshake.
"Anyway, we should continue the conversation now, Tatsuya," Erika interrupted everyone's conversation, catching their attention.
"What kind of conversation have you all had before?" asked Daisuke.
"Tatsuya was going to explain about Cast Jamming to us," Replied Erika.
"Cast Jamming? I never heard of it but is it classified as Counter Magic?" Daisuke asked again as his curiosity grew more that he would like to hear more about it. However, something bothered him as, like other magic spells, there were always consequences to use or of only to be known to only those within the group which he and Kazuhiro was not part of.
"Is it related to you casting a magic spell to cancel the activated spell to stop the fight at the gymnasium?" Kazuhiro asked without looking at Tatsuya as he was taking out his phone to check.
Tatsuya nodded his head and began to continue the conversation after being interrupted, "As I was going to say, Cast Jamming is a spell that interferes with the workings in the Eidos of an activation. It falls under the category of irregular magic. However, using cast jamming to interfere with all of the magic across the eight types of the four branching classifications, a special psion noise is necessary. "
"So, it transmitted a large amount of meaningless psion to cancel the spell while exposing the magician to nausea, isn't it?" Daisuke clarified Tatsuya's explanation to understand.
"You're right, Daisuke-San," Tatsuya confirmed Daisuke's clarification, "I'm honestly impressed that you understand every single of my words."
"Haha, there is no need to praise my understanding, because I might be wrong sometimes when it comes to more complicated magic theory," Daisuke laughed a little to deny Tatsuya, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment.
"Isn't there some kind of special stone for that? I think it's called anti-... anti-something..." Erika struggled to remember the remnant of the word, but Mizuki came to her rescue.
"It's Antinite, Erika-Chan,"
"Yeah, it's that!"
"Tatsuya, you have Antinite? I thought it was something really expensive," Mizuki asked Tatsuya out of curiosity.
"No, he probably never have it in the first place, Mizuki-San,"
Hearing Kazuhiro's reply, Mizuki turned around to see him checking his phone and raised her eyebrow. "What do you mean, Kazuhiro-Kun?"
"Despite Antinite certainly emitting a jamming noise on the psion flow, it is illegal for any civilian to get a hand on it because it is a military resource," Kazuhiro explained about the consequence of having Antinite with his sigh. "Otherwise, you might be jailed for a few years like ten or fifteen years."
Everyone except Tatsuya at the table was a little distressed at Kazuhiro's revelation of the worst situation if someone gained Antinite through illegal means. Mizuki swallowed her saliva in both nervousness and fear and never thought that the consequence was too threatening when it was military or law related. Sho would remember it in her heart so that she would never commit any crime in the future.
Erik glared at Kazuhiro for both ruining the mood in the conversation and scaring Mizuki to death. Leo and Daisuke looked at her with their nervous look and felt her possibly murdering aura that she wanted to kill Kazuhiro for it. However, Kazuhiro quickly diffused it before it became worse.
"Am I too much?" Asked Kazuhiro.
"No, Kazuhiro-San. You're not ruining the conversation. Right, Big Brother?" Miyuki turned to Tatsuya with a smile, signaling him to agree with her.
"Right," Tatsuya agreed without hesitation.
"Anyway!" Erik asked loudly, breaking the awkward silence, and turned to Tatsuya. "But, you said you used cast Jamming…"
Erik, Leo, Mizuki, and Daisuke looked at Tatsuya with their confusion and waited for Tatsuya to explain what variant spells that he cast.
"Ah, I'd like to keep this conversation off record, alright?" Tatsuya asked as he leaned towards them. "What I used wasn't exactly cast jamming. Rather, it was a practical application of that theory. It's "selective magic jamming."
All within the group were blanked by Tatsuya's reply except Miyuki. Kazuhiro and Mizuki blinked a few times.
"Does that kind of spell exist?" Asked Leo
"None.. that I can think of," Said Mizuki
"I'm confused that you're saying that it wasn't cast jamming but an unknown theory of magic spell?" Daisuke guessed.
"It's hard to believe in what you're saying. Tatsuya-Kun, a mere high school student, worked out the theory of a new spell?" Erika retraced and later concluded.
"It would be more accurate to say that I discovered it by chance," Tatsuya said with a small smile.
Tatsuya began to explain the new spell and technique that he developed out of the theory and called the spell that he used at the gymnasium, 'Oscillation Magic Jamming.' Everyone was shocked to learn about it. Even Kazuhiro stopped looking at his phone and put it back in his pocket. He also explained that its technique, however, was incomplete which was difficult for others to use even with Tatsuya could not be utilized perfectly. He continued to explain the consequence of it being discovered that might destroy the foundation of society, filled with discrimination and extremists so he cannot publish it to the public.
"That's amazing… to have thought so far," Mizuki said, being admired.
"So you did invent a new technique. If it were me, I'd probably jump at the chance for a frame," Leo sighed.
"Big brother's overthinking a bit, don't you think? In the first place, being able to read the activation ritual your opponent is in the middle of projecting CAD interference waves, it's not like just anyone could do it. But then my big brother's like that I suppose," said Miyuki.
"... Are you implying I'm an indecisive weakling?" Tatsuya asked Miyuki with his face showing no mercy.
"Who knows? Erika, What do you think?" Miyuki asked Erika who was off-guard.
"No idea? I think I'd like to hear Mizuki's opinion on this," Erika suggested, passing to Mizuki to
"Yeah? I, Uhm, that is…" Mizuki could not find a word to say.
"So no one's denying it…"
Mizuki's nervous gaze hovered about everywhere for help but no help came from any direction while Mikyui averted Tatsuya's eyes with a cheerful smirk and Erika hid her face behind a menu. She rashly snatched a drink to avoid it but she accidentally grabbed Kazuhiro's milkshake instead. Kazuhiro noticed her grabbing his cup and tried to stop her.
"Mizuki-san, that's…"
It was too late as Mizuki drank Kazuhiro's cup.
"Something wrong, Kazuhiro-Kun?" Mizuki asked as she stopped drinking and the whipped cream stained on her mouth
"That's my milkshake, Mizuki-san," Kazuhiro replied.
"Oh sorry," Mizuki apologized as she put Kazuhiro's cup back on the table in front of him. She was at fault for taking someone's cup so she began to think to make up for him but the taste of the milkshake left the sweetness in her mouth, which made her body shake a little.
"Do you want me to order a cup of warm water to wash your mouth?" Kazuhiro asked after noticing Mizuki being a little shaken by his milkshake.
Mizuki wanted to deny Kazuhiro's offer but she could need it now as the taste did not go away in her mouth. She hurriedly replied while shaking her head, "Yes, Please!"
Erika laughed although she tried to cover her mouth to lower her laughing noise and Mizuki simply giggled because they watched Mizuki's badly handling too much sweetness. Leo smiled at the sight while Tatsuya formed a small smile after breathing out.
"Kaz, what kind of milkshake do you order?" Asked Daisuke with curiosity.
"Strawberry Marshmallow Milkshake," Kazuhiro normally replied while taking a sip from his milkshake.
"That's too sweet for you to drink, Kazuhiro."
"Meh, I occasionally drink it when I feel like it unless I decide not."
The Following Day
Morning
Train between the stations, Tokyo
Mari was reluctant to go to school because she had many responsibilities for precaution on the second day of club recruitment but since she was Chief of the Public Morals Committee, she had to be a role model to the committee so that they slack off their duty for the last time before her graduation. Yesterday was quite eventful in her opinion which involved Tatsuya. He took the entire Kenjutsu Club down without fighting because of his arrest on Kirihara for misusing a spell. She was honestly a little worried for Mibu although she rejected her as her sparring partner and wondered if she was alright after the incident.
"Mari-Sempai?"
Mari snapped out of her thought and turned her head around to look at the person who called her name. The person was a female who was one year younger than her and wearing a school uniform which was the same as Mari's uniform. She had short, dark purple hair with sharp bangs more down on her right side than her left side and blueish-gray eyes.
"Something wrong, Kanon?"
"You've been spacing out for a long time, which makes me a little worried. Something on your mind?"
"It's nothing, Kanon. I'm just a bit too tired from yesterday but I will be alright."
"If you say so, Mari."
Mari turned back from facing Kanon and continued back to her thoughts but was interrupted by a faint snoozing sound. She breathed out in irritation that she had completely forgotten that she and Kanon were standing in front of sleeping Kazuhiro. She looked down on him and wondered how he could sleep peacefully on the train to their school as it was packed with many people. Whether it was fortunately or unfortunately that his ears were covered with his headphones, listening to music. She however truthfully wanted to speak with him as a normal student but at the same time, she would also give him a full earful talk about respect. Her eyes narrowed at him but were noticed by Kanon.
"Mari, you know him?" Kanon asked curiously.
"Sort of, but Mayamui and I met him outside of the building on the second day, but he was honestly rude towards us," Mari replied with an explanation.
"Really? So does that mean that he is delinquent?" Kanon concluded without thinking.
Mari knocked on Kanon's head with her knuckles finger with a small thud sound.
"Ouch!"
Kanon groaned in pain while rubbing on the spot on her head where Mari hit and looked at Mari with a shocked face.
"Don't jump to the conclusion, Kanon," Mari warned sternly, "Did you forget everything that I taught to become the next chief?"
"No, Mari!" Kanon raised her fear tone while shaking her head rapidly in fear, attracted by the people in their surroundings looking at them.
"Don't raise your voice, Kanon."
"Sorry."
Mari marked Kanon as her successor as the Public Moral Committee Chief despite Kanon's brash and outgoing personality. Not only does she support her, but she harshly trained her given the chance to become a proper one. She hoped that she would not fail as the chief.
Mari sighed out and continued the conversation with Kanon, "But still, he didn't interact with a lot of people for the past week from what I see. Although he did, however, get into the conversation with others, he always took a nap and listened to music during break time. I'm honestly worried about his future."
"You should worry about yourself."
Mari and Kanon were startled while jumping up from the familiar surprise voice and turned their head around and looked down to see Kazuhiro, who was awakened, with his headphones hanging around the back of his neck. He yawned with his mouth covered by his hand so as not to disturb and be rude to the people around him.
"When do you wake up, Kazuhiro-Kun?" Mari asked with her shocked tone.
"Moment ago," replied Kazuhiro.
"Gosh, don't scare us like that," Kanon scolded lightly while trying to recover from being surprised.
"Sorry," Kazuhiro apologized despite his face filled with half asleep.
As Mari was about to speak, the train interrupted their conversation as it stopped at Hachiōji Station. The door on the left side opened while the announcement from the speaker at the same time, "Thank you for riding the train."
Kazuhiro stood up and walked past both Mari and Kanon to the opening door to the outside while saying, "I will see you in school, Mari-Sempai."
"Wait!" Mari raised her voice to call Kazuhiro to stop but Kazuhiro already walked out of the train. She sighed in irritation that their conversation was short-lived. At least, he was not ill-mannered but still rude. Nevertheless, he might have encountered her soon. She truly does not understand his way of talking and attitude.
"How rude! He should not talk to us when he is in a sort of hurry," Kanon said with a scowl on her face. She was furious at Kazuhiro who was being rude to both of them and walked away as nothing happened. She wanted to scream at him but she cannot do it since they were in the public area.
"Let's just go to school," Mari ordered as she and Kanon both began to walk out of the train to the school.
"Why did you let him go?" Kanon asked, bewildered.
"Let's just say that I let his rudeness go unnoticed once," replied Mari.
Kazuhiro walked out of the station and turned around to the left to continue walking towards the school. While walking, he lifted his head and yawned with his wide-open mouth while stretching his back. He felt relieved but a little languorous from napping on the train today and a group talk in the cafe yesterday. He wished that Erika should have stopped poking on his and Daisuke's life as she wanted to know more about us including our secret, but fortunately, Tatsuya stopped her in time. She was the most carefree and sociable person that he ever met and he thought her attitude was different from Toshikazu and her family members.
As Kazuhiro was walking, he was suddenly bumped by someone else. He turned around to see who it was and it was Shizuku. Both he and Shizuku looked at each other's eyes for a short time until he asked, "Are you alright, Shizuku-San?"
"I'm okay, Kazuhiro-San," Shizuku replied after snapping out of her daze.
Kazuhiro tilted his head to see that Shizuku was alone as she was not with Honoka because he presumed that they usually walked together all the time. He guessed that she was either late or already reached school. Since she was not here with her, he called back and asked, "Do you want to walk with me together?"
Shizuku unexpectedly nodded, accepting Kazuhiro's offer. "Sure."
Both Kazuhiro and Shizuku began to walk together to the school. However, They were too quiet as they never talked about their daily life or something such as their liking and disliking. He breathed out and began to start the conversation with her.
"How are you?" Asked Kazuhiro.
"I'm doing fine although yesterday was too chaotic," Shizuku replied.
"Meaning that you are already forced to join the club?"
"No, I already found the club that caught my interest when Honoka and I were being kidnapped while chased by Watanabe-Sempai and brought to the club."
'That's technically counted as 'being forced to join',' Kazuhiro thought at Shizuku's answer in sweatdrop. He continued to ask, "What club did you join?"
"Biathlon Club."
"Is it the club that shoots the target while riding board because I heard one of them shouting for the newcomer to join?" Kazuhiro guessed Shizuku's Club, gaining her nod.
"What about you?" Asked Shizuku as it was her turn to ask Kazuhiro.
"No, I didn't join any club," Kazuhiro replied without hesitation.
"Why?"
"No club caught my interest and it's a pain in the ass that I'm avoiding any persuasive recruiter in my sight."
"I know how you feel, but are you sure that you're not interested in joining any club?"
"No, I decided not to join but I might hang around on the campus after school someday."
"I won't persuade you if you hate to join."
"I'm not sure if I appreciate you for understanding me or I'm feeling bad that you accept my answer."
"You tell me."
Both Kazuhiro and Shizuku formed their small smiles as they enjoyed their conversation but not the topic. They could have more conversations to understand each other but Kazuhiro felt a little dispute on whether he should talk more about himself towards her. However, he cannot keep it secret all the time so he might be going to tell her when the timing was right. He hoped that he would not get jinxed.
Noon
First High School, Hachioji, Tokyo
"Thanks for helping me, Daisuke," Suzune thanked Daisuke.
"No problem, Suzune, I appreciate you for asking me for help," Daisuke replied to Suzune with a smile.
"Don't flatter me," Suzune sighed at Daisuke's words as she felt a little intolerable.
Daisuke and Suzune were carrying a stack of document papers to the student council room for Mayumi and others to review all because it contained the budget information for them to review so that they can either approve or disapprove. She had no strength to carry it so she had no choice but to ask him for help. As they reached the outside of the student council room, Suzune knocked on the door and grabbed the doorknob to turn clockwise to open. The door was pushed forwards and she entered the room, followed by him.
"Ah, Rin-Chan, Do you need some help," Mayumi asked Suzune, wanting to help her to carry.
"No need, Mayumi. I already asked for help," Suzune replied, pointing to Daisuke as her assistance.
Daisuke scanned around the room to find it to be very office-like because he always thought that the room should be in disarray and tons of boxes stacked in random just like his middle school but he was wrong. He then saw Miyuki, whom he found unsurprisingly because she was a beautiful, well-mannered, and smart lady in her opinion and the orange-haired girl with kid heights. They were both doing the terminal device to sort out the important thing. Suzune put the paper on the school president's table, followed by him.
Miyuki saw Daisuke and was surprised to see him here in the student council room. So she stood up from the terminal and walked towards him.
"Daisuke, what are you doing here?" Asked Miyuki in surprise.
"Hello, Miyuki," Daisuke greeted, "I'm helping Suzune to carry the document because she was struggling to carry a ton of it."
Mayumi noticed Daisuke addressing Suzune's first name and was curious to know if he was intending to call Suzune's first name because he simply knew her whom she never told her about her past.
"Rin-Chan. Do you know him?" Mayumi asked curiously.
"Yes, he is my childhood friend that I have yet to tell you about," Suzune replied.
"Really? You should talk more about him when we have time," Mayumi said with her gleamed eyes, making Suzune sigh in regret.
Daisuke realized that he was here with Mayumi and the other student council members. He turned around to face Mayumi and both greeted and introduced himself to her with a bow, "Hello, my name is Takaya Daisuke, and I'm in the same class as Miyuki. Nice to meet you, Saegusa-Sempai."
"Likewise, Takaya-Kun. Saegusa Mayumi from Class 3A and I'm student council president which you already knew and the short girl is my secretary, Nakajou Azusa but calls her A-Chan," Mayumi greeted him back with a smile and introduction of herself and the short girl, Azusa.
"President!" Azusa shouted, feeling embarrassed by her nickname given by Mayumi.
'Quite the most interesting group that I ever encountered,' Daisuke thought of the student council but was interrupted by Suzune's call on him.
"Daisuke, Sorry to trouble you more, but I need your assistance on handling the document," Suzune asked Daisuke. She felt guilty for asking for his help on the stuff that the student council should handle but they were short-handed since Mari was out there to oversee the campus in case the trouble started. She hoped that it would not be a burden to him.
"Sure, I will help but am I going to burden you and your friend?" Daisuke asked, pointing to the student council.
Suzune was going to reply to Daisuke but Mayumi beat her to it. "Not at all, Takaya-Kun. We're glad that we got more people like you for help."
"If you said so, then okay, I will help."
"Splendid, I will head back to review the budget document while you two do your own thing," Mayumi told everyone with a smile as she turned back to go to her table.
Everyone was silent as they had no idea of what just happened and tried to digest it. Suzune gave Mayumi a deadpan look but sighed a little as it was pointless to comment because Mayumi would find a way to rebut her effectively due to her revealing childhood with Daisuke. She turned to Daisuke. "Let's go, Daisuke."
Daisuke snapped out of his thoughts by Suzune and replied, "Sure thing, Suzune."
"I will head back to help Azusa-Sempai," Miyuki told them.
As everyone went back to their role to help, Mayumi observed both Suzune and Daisuke helping each other and smirked at them. She could use it to her advantage to tease Suzune more as her entertainment because she seems to think that they were very close due to their childhood friend relationship.
"What are you smirking about?" Azusa asked while raising her eyebrow.
"It's nothing, A-Chan," Mayumi replied.
Kazuhiro took a stroll around the area filled with less crowded people while listening to music with his headphones. He looked around to see every club showcasing their talent and skills, explaining their activity to the recruit, and showing their mascot for their attraction. He was able to shake the recruiter off his track successfully. As he was walking, he came across to see the student flying backward.
"There's no point in continuing to try, you Weed! We're Bloom and You're Weed! We're much better than you, bitch!"
The student's shout went through Kazuhiro's headphones to his ear. He saw one among the three students boasting about Bloom and Weed in front of the beaten student laid on the ground. Everyone in the area dared not to interfere because either they were afraid to be caught in the trouble, they did not want to be involved, or few of them were course one student enjoyed watching because of their superiority complex. It honestly made him disgusted but he could not do anything about it as he was going to get into trouble if he did something foolish. However, He took down his headphones to hang around his neck when he saw Kanon run towards the beaten student to check his condition. She stood down to the beaten student's level and asked, "Are you alright?"
The beaten student groaned in pain in reply to Kanon, affecting her to be a little furious. She swiftly turned her head around to face three students and shouted in anger, "What the hell is wrong with you three?!"
"What?" One of the group asked.
"You think you're better than him by beating him up?!" Kanon shouted, questioning in anger.
"Of course it is, Bloom's magic is far more superior than Weed's magic and he doesn't deserve to be called a magician because of his weak magic!" The student retorted back with an answer.
Gripping her hand in anger, Kanon wanted to punch the retorted student in the face but she needed to restrain herself from using her CAD on him and his friend. She analyzed the beaten student from head to toe and concluded that there were no serious injuries on him but only scratches and cuts. She needed to take him to the infirmary to get treatment for him, but she was now in a tight spot. The student stepped out of the ground, revealed to be an average tall male with black combed hair and green eyes.
"Why don't you go away so that you won't get hurt? I had nothing against the bloom like you. Besides, you're not a public moral committee member and there are none of them," the black-haired student said as he offered Kanon terribly with a smug face.
Kazuhiro presumed that the black-haired student, who offered Kanon, might be the leader of the group.
"Like hell I am, you idiot!" Kanon denied the leader's offer.
The leader's smug face turned into anger. He rashly took out his Mobile Terminal-Shaped CAD and cast a magic sequence when he aimed at Kanon and the beaten student for an attack. Kanon shut her eyes while hugging the injured student tightly to brace for impact. However, his sequence was disrupted by a throwing egg directly hitting his head. It splatted and covered with a mixture of egg yolk and white and pieces of shells. He groaned in pain while wiping it off his head. This caught everyone in the area surprised. He turned around and barked in anger, "Who the fuck throw that?!"
Another egg was thrown towards the same spot of his head and splatted. The leader quickly turned around in the direction of the throwing egg and saw Kazuhiro who was throwing and catching the egg repeatedly. He glared at Kazuhiro with anger and shouted, "Are you the one who did that?!"
Kazuhiro did not answer any single word to the leader, whose patient had grown thinner. He took off his headphone from his neck along with his phone from his pocket and threw them at Kanon. She instantly caught it with both of her hands and looked at him with confusion but concern that he was in the worst situation. The leader began to ask aggressively loudly. "Let me repeat… Who the fuck are you?!"
Kazuhiro denied the leader's question by staying silent and frustrating him even more.
"That's it, you're de–!"
Kazuhiro threw his last egg at the leader and it successfully entered his mouth upon impact. The leader accidentally closed his mouth, crashing the egg to spill out, and threw it up to the floor. Most of the students were disgusted at the sight and those who either have a weak stomach or ate their snack and heavy lunch a moment ago felt an urge to vomit out. While Kanon found it disgusting like the rest, she found it hilarious that the leader deserved this sort of payback.
As the leader was still gagging out, Kazuhiro swiftly turned around and began to sprint away. The leader finished spewing out the remaining eggshell and liquid and saw him running away. He scowled and ordered his group loudly, "After him!"
[~~~~~]
Mari was tired of arresting some students for breaking common ground rules which were conjuring a magic spell. It does not matter whether they were from the clubs or fresh students. She was, however, honestly annoyed that she and the committee had to deal with too many troublemakers and wanted this day to end quickly so that she can rest peacefully and relax like taking a warm bathtub in the night.
As Mari scanned around the area, she spotted a familiar individual dashing through the crowd, running from the angry mobs in the distance and she squinted her eyes to look closely. The familiar individual was Kazuhiro. She then rubbed her eyes for a moment to check if she was hallucinating from her overwork as a president of the committee and squinted again. It was indeed Kazuhiro. She facepalmed herself hard enough to produce a loud sound, attracting everyone around her to look at her puzzled look. She wanted this day to end now.
[~~~~~]
"God Damnit! How the hell did he run so fast?!"
Kazuhiro kept running and never tired from it due to his workout, free-running, and his part-time private detective experience. He could easily shake off the group but he honestly wanted to play with them a little while not getting caught by the pursuers. Otherwise, he would be dead. He dropped down to the floor and slid under the bench carried by the students upon seeing it. He quickly stood up and continued to run. He then entered the building and proceeded to run up the stairs to the rooftop.
As Kazuhiro arrived at the rooftop, he stopped at his track but noticed Erik, Mizuki, and Leo who were there and looking at him in shock. He turned to the opened entrance and waited. The leader was the first to arrive, puffing heavily while looking at him angrily as if he wanted to kill him along with his other two accomplishers.
"There you are, you fucker," The leader growled furiously. "Stay there like a good boy and I will punch you for making me look shit."
Erik, Mizuki, and Leo looked at Kazuhiro to the group of three enraged students. They exchanged their looks and nodded to each other as they agreed to help him out without questioning the situation as the group would not dare to listen to any reason because they were both simply enraged and course one students. However, Kazuhiro sighed and began to run, much to everyone's surprise.
"Oi! Where are you going, Kaz?!" Leo shouted at Kazuhiroin shock.
Kazuhiro stepped on the ledge of the rooftop and leaped off in the air. Everyone was frightened at his rash decision and both Erik and Leo began rushing towards the edge to see if Kazuhiro was alright despite knowing that he would probably be dead on the ground. However, they heard a faint splash upon reaching the ledge. They looked over to see the pool and saw Kazuhiro was, fortunately, alive as he was floating in the pool and swam towards the ledge to get up. While feeling relief, they never thought that he was not that insane person that they encountered before. They turned their heads around and became shocked to find Mizuki unexpectedly laying on the ground unconsciously.
"Ah, Mizuki!" Erik shouted as she ran towards Mizuki to see her condition.
Meanwhile, Kazuhiro sat down on the floor, being wet, and shook his hair off the pool water while ignoring some students who were both in their school swimming attire and belong to the school swimming club. They looked at him in surprise and wondered if he came from heaven. He then trimmed his hair backward to see clearly and unknowingly, making some female members blush by his look.
Suddenly, A familiar female's voice coughed behind Kazuhiro and he turned his head around and moved up to see Mari who was in a mixture of relief, disappointment, and irritation.
